Just had the fish and chips and salmon at Red Lobster, and I'm blown away! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious - the batter was crispy and golden, and the fish inside was tender and flaky. I loved how it came with a side of tangy tartar sauce that added a nice kick. The salmon, on the other hand, was cooked to perfection, with a nice char on the outside and a moist, flavorful interior. I opted for the lemon butter sauce, and wow, it was a game-changer - rich, zesty, and complemented the fish beautifully. The portions were generous, as usual at Red Lobster, and the price was pretty reasonable considering the quality and quantity. Service was on point too - our server was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. All in all, a solid meal that left me satisfied and already planning my next visit!

Last night I received excellent service at the Novi location. I booked a reservation for 9:00pm but I arrived around 8:40pm, and although the restaurant was full, I was still seated early. The young man at the front counter was pleasant and professional and it didn’t bother him that my party and I arrived early. He seated us in a cozy booth and within minutes our waitress was there to take our beverage orders. I think the waitress name was Geri. She also was super friendly and accommodating. The food was prepared to perfection. Every dish was hot and delicious. I ordered a pina colada drink with a strawberry topper. My experience was so good that I am planning to return there next week, with a group of people. I

Just had a great dining experience at Red Lobster, at Twelve Oaks Mall. Kurt was our waiter and he is phenomenal, personable and most importantly seem to like people and his job. The food was great and the staff was pleasant. We stopped them for lunch and ended up eating dinner. We had the Tuesday special crab legs, Admiral's feast and fish and chips. This was a great do-over for my husband's birthday. Excellent, Pleasant and enjoyable😍😋

Red Lobster was on and popping. Now. Keep in mind. I had not been to Red Lobster in at least 10 years, yes 10. So, I decided to try it again and it served the purpose of filling me up. The Salmon was moist with great flavor and I loved the Orzo Rice. My husband enjoyed his shrimp which were filling as well. 20 shrimps and fries. The salmon had Oscar Sauce which added more flavor. I walked i n and rolled out stuffed with one eye open and one closed. Overall, I was happy to see people coming and going. I pray the people keep coming. The prices were reasonable and I will be returning soon. I hate I didn’t have room for my Fudge Overboard Desert. When I return? I will start off with desert. Yummy!

Google
The love this place, I have not been here since the last visit about a year ago. Just got out the hospital and wanted crab legs. Glad I did, but it’s been awhile and there are no longer king crab legs on the menu. But I enjoyed all food ordered💯

We happened to stop by this place in the evening, and it turned out to be the best thing that happened to us all day. Everything was fantastic and delicious. The service was excellent—the waitress very patiently took our order (our English isn’t great), explained everything we needed to know, and was super nice (If I'm not mistaken, her name is Erionа) . Only positive impressions from this place—we will definitely come back!

The Flavour Was Flavouring 🎯 Had an amazing time at Red Lobster in Novi, and shoutout to Kurt for being an A+ server. He was super attentive, chill, and knew the menu well. I ordered the Mariner’s Boil, added some extra Cajun to turn up the heat, and whew, that Old Bay and Parmesan sauce??? SLAPPED 🔥🧄🧀. The corn was so juicy, it was giving peaches and cream vibes; sweet, buttery, and packed with flavor. 🌽 Then came the Purple Haze, that drink shimmered through my body like pure magic 💜✨. Great vibes and great service! I’ll definitely be back.

Google
I visited Red Lobster in Novi with family to try the Ultimate Feast. The food was pretty good, but it was outshined by the customer service! From the very beginning, our host was super engaging and sweet. Then our waitress, Francesca, was extremely patient, personable and helpful. Two of us had making up our minds and she walked us through our decisions. Not ONCE did I feel rushed or like a burden. I am very appreciative of her kindness. Then, just when we thought it couldn’t her any better, Felecia, another server brought our food to the table with the most AMAZING attitude, spirit and sharpness. She noticed that my order was incorrect and went to the kitchen to fix it immediately! No hassle. No nothing. When asked how we could tip her - she said she was just grateful for the acknowledgment. Do yourself a favor and head to this location during the weekend. Not only will you have good food, you’ll experience outstanding service!

Yelp
Long time customer here. We've always enjoyed this place. 20 years? I think so. Biscuits are great as usual. Salads amazing. Salmon very good. Wish they still had fresh fish and specials though. Nice selection of lobster and shrimp dishes. Our server, David, was really good. The staff here is well hired and trained. I've said that for years. We will certainly keep coming back.

Yelp
This is the first time trying Red Lobster since they came out out of bankruptcy. The waitress explained that they have apparently gotten rid of the endless crab offerings. And they have added a lot of higher end menu items. I guess this is part of how they will try to ensure not getting into bankruptcy again. The menu prices do look to be quite a bit higher than they used to be in the past, but that might also be due to inflation. The food was quite solid and tasty. I don't think it earned a five star, but it was definitely better than the average rating here for Red Lobster although that might be tarnished by the past. The serving sizes were generous, and the food was very tasty and the service itself was quite quick and efficient. It didn't take too long to get seated on a Friday night, which was nice. The menu is quite large now and there is a lot to pick from. Not quite as overwhelming as a low end Chinese restaurant with over 200 menu options, but it is a noticeably long menu to pick from

Yelp
Came in for Veterans day because us vets got a free shrimp and fries dinner. I also ordered some biscuits to go along with a strong(long) island. Our server was really kind and sweet and she even gave me a nice & thoughtful note saying "Thanks for your service" along with a scripture that I needed. We're going to request her from now on!

Yelp
My favorite Red Lobster location. The food is always good and fresh with a lot of flavor. The staff is always friendly and polite. The atmosphere is chill with a casual vibe.

Yelp
I haven't been to Red Lobster in a minute so me and a friend went for lunch on a Saturday. I don't know any other locations but this one was packed!! Once we checked in the wait was not that bad but they sure can use more help. Once we got seated our waitress came and greeted us and we asked how she was doing and she said "tired"! Even though being tired she was really good and stayed checking on us. She gave good drink and food suggestions and of course brought us out some biscuits. The wait for food was average time and everything came out hot and tasty. The portions were good and worth the price. They have changed the menu a bit, you no longer automatically get a salad with your meal. I did like the mix and match options for entrees because it offers more variety. I will be visiting another location during their Happy Hour time very soon.

Yelp
Finally, they got some sense and brought back many customer's favorites. Hush puppies, lobster bisque, bacon wrapped scallopes, and the feasts. Most of those are my favorites for 40 years. The hush puppies come a close second to Long John Silvers' . The bacon wrapped scallopes was on the appetizers menu but it is easy to make a meal. The lobster bisque was very watery but it could just be a bad batch. Of course the cheddar garlic biscuits was worth every calorie. The service was what you expect and the dining room is large and low lights. I will be back on Christmas with my dining out group and when I can. The 1980s version is back. Too bad it took a bankruptcy to get it.

Yelp
Did I eat 4 cheddar bay biscuits before my entree came? Yes, yes I did. Those things are flat out glorious! I'm going to dream about them. I haven't been to a Red Lobster in ages and found myself there for my mother in law's birthday. For all of the negativity the chain has received over the years, I felt like they exceeded my expectations. Our server was great and everything was delicious. Quality seems to be up from the late years of Darden ownership. My lobster tails were perfect. The lobster dip app was top notch. The manager was also very attentive. A great spot for decent seafood without breaking the bank. I never thought I'd say this about Red Lobster, but I'd go back.

Yelp
We went to the Red Lobster & there was a half hour wait but most of the tables were empty. When we first got arrived there was no host in the front for a long time We left after waiting 15 minutes. It appeared they were short of help. We will not go there again in the future.

Genida L.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience at Red Lobster this past weekend. Kudos to our server Jordan C. He was exceptional. He was attentive to our table and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. The food was also good. We will definitely return for another meal! The music that was playing, added to the ambience.

Yelp
Not sure why this location has gotten anything less than 5-star reviews. My husband and I received a Red Lobster gift card for Christmas and recently stopped in for a late lunch. We had a great experience! After being promptly seated, we were greeted and served by a friendly, efficient waitress who knew what we needed before we even asked. After the famous Cheddar Bay Biscuits arrived, I ordered the Maple Bacon Chicken with mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli, which was SO GOOD! It was enough to take home for a secondary dinner the following night! Oddly, my hubby had never been to a Red Lobster before and because I always raved about their Caesar salad, he got one on the side. His main entree was the Creamy Crab Carbonara and he happily cleaned his plate! At the end of our meal, he truthfully agreed that the Caesar salad was unbelievably good... probably his favorite part of the meal! We both enjoyed their current margarita flight, and felt that the passion fruit flavor was the best! All in all, we would definitely come back here! Everything was G R E A T !

Yelp
Great food, service and staff! Our overall experience is always great at this location. We love the food and the chef accommodates our son's food allergies with preparing safe options.

Yelp
Just went here today and David was our waiter. Very prompt, polite, and helpful. Thanks David for an awesome and fun dining experience!!! This location is the best‼

Yelp
If you have a party of 6 or more the wait time is too long, and they do try to put everyone in the same area! Service was a little slow but that was expected being that we had two parties of 10, they did allow for separate checks. They have new choices on their menu, which was great and the prices did go up! The restaurant was busy with average noise level, we did enjoy the company.

Yelp
We were sat right away the waiter came over quickly. Biscuits slightly undercooked but the shrimp was good and my husband feast was good The baked potatoes were much smaller but cooked well. However the manager and two empoyees were standing behind us having personal communication which was annoying.

Yelp
Red lobster has been around a long time. I remember going to a Red Lobster as a kid. Guess what? I liked it then and I still enjoy it now. I know it's a chain and I do support local. But, I support long-time establishments too. They have a place in my heart and palate as well. This location is nice, well-maintained and the service was especially great today! Favorites are: Walt's favorite shrimp, shrimp scampi and the grilled shrimp. Still enjoy the wonderful cheddar bay biscuits and the house side salad. I guess I just missed "endless" shrimp, but I still feasted and really enjoyed the meal. We had enough to take home as well because the portions are generous. Also, have to mention the tarter sauce, so delicious! If you haven't been to Red Lobster in a while, it's a good place to revisit and enjoy some old and new favorites. Their holiday drinks looked enticing too, maybe next time!

Hunter R.

Yelp
I ordered 3 carry out meals one order was lobster and shrimp pasta, I also ordered a extra side of sauce for the meal, they gave it to me in a small black container that butter comes in. I'm highly disappointed.

Jessica H.

Yelp
The salmon was delicious! It was some of the best salmon I have eaten at a chain restaurant. Served was great! I would return to the location again.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was typical Red Lobster food. The service was great our waiter was very attentive checking in often. It's a bit dark in the restaurant for my taste but other than that it was okay the restaurant was clean and nautical themed. Lol

Terry C.

Yelp
The best part of our visit was our server claudette. Now adays most waitresses seem to not enjoy their job or the customers. She truly was friendly AND efficient. Our food was hot and our beverages refilled. Delicious meal !

Yelp
LISTEN UP The restaurant wasn't that busy with many open tables. You made me wait 35 minutes just to get a table. Please seat every open table in the restaurant. Now I cant come on weekends anymore.

Yelp
We decided to pick a place that wouldn't be busy for St. Patty's since we are both starving. Seafood spots seemed like a safe pick for tonight. Pound of crab is always a good pick here. Reminds me of highschool. Used to every week to get 1.5 lbs of crab with my dad. It was our little weekly tradition. They took our name and phone number down. It's about a 15 minute wait. Can't wait inside, only from our car or outside. They do have curbside pickup available. Sounds like a possible option as we wait in the car. 15 minutes has passed by. So hungry. 25 minutes so far. I went to check where we are on the list. The hostess told me there are 4 groups ahead of us. She said to give her 5 more minutes. Seriously. The hostess is bad about gauging turnover. I am about to get some Chik-fil-a, from next door, that's how famished I feel while waiting. I think we could have gotten curbside food in less time than the current wait here tonight. Add about 20-30 minutes to the hostesses' estimate and you won't want to bite her head off for being so off or gnaw off your own arm either. It took us 40 minutes for a table for two, it's not 15 minute wait. The mom and daughter in front of us and another two are all waiting to be seated at the same time now. Steak and lobster for $19.99 is today's special. Our waitress brought us a basket of cheddar bay biscuits even before we put in our order. They look moist and smell yummy. We ordered the wild caught pound of snow crabs with a side of sea scallops and a Caesar, no croutons and a side of broccoli and an Atlantic salmon with sea scallops, another Caesar with a side of Brussel sprouts. We are having a cheat day today. The cheddar bay biscuits were just too hard to pass up here. Used to love them back in HS. Still taste like back then too. They are buttery for sure and cooked to perfection. I could eat an entire meal of their cheddar bay biscuits. I once bought 20 boxes of their cheddar bay biscuit from Kroger online, they don't turn out like the ones at the restaurant at all. I will be paying for this meal later. It's more dairy and gluten than I have eaten in a month now. The crab legs are cold, barely warm. Cold crab isn't my favorite much. The Brussel sprouts are good, smaller pieces would make it more crispy for sure. The small bay scallops are way overcooked and rubbery. Blah. The broccoli is at least cooked decently. It was the most underwhelming meal, hands down. I should have opted to eat the cheddar bay biscuits for my entire meal. :/ The salmon was just okay, the bacon wrapped scallops were decent, a change from normal scallops at least. The crispy Brussel sprouts were good. My husband liked them quite a bit and he's not a big fan of Brussel sprouts either. I think we are good on Red Lobster for another decade or two. My husband said he will drop by here when I am craving biscuits at least.

Yelp
So this Red Lobster is just like any other Red Lobster. They've got the classic lobster tank in the front with the soon to be doomed lobsters that you can pick out. We came here because a family member had came in from town and we wanted to take them out to someplace, that reminded them of Home and that was special. So we went here for shrimp fest. You get three orders of shrimp upfront, and then can put in one order after that. So we got scampi, shrimp, shrimp, linguine, fried shrimp, waltz, shrimp, and dragon shrimp, which is a new dish where the shrimp is deep and batter deep fried And served with a spicy sauce. Our server was really nice even though we came in not too far away from close. We were pretty much the only people in the restaurant aside from three other couples. This actually worked our advantage so our server was able to pay special attention to us, and, we were able to get quite a a bit of food before it was time to close up. I would recommend this place for its nostalgia and for it's all you can eat shrimp it was about $25 per person which for the amount of food we ate was more than reasonable and the manager here was very nice and helpful at our table. As always, the cheddar Bay biscuits are what keeps me coming back and they didn't skimp on those which was really nice. So this isn't gonna knock your socks off or anything like that but if you're looking for a qualitywell-known restaurant then this red lobster worth a try

Yelp
To start with, I'll add that I'm not knocking down points for temperature of the food, or even crispiness of some items as this was a delivery order. Wife and I ordered the Shrimp 4-way meal. Weirdly, it comes with one side, but two drinks (cans none the less). We got the scampi, alfredo, Tequila Lime and the Crispy Dragon Shrimp. That's four,.... right? Well, we received the "scampi", "alfredo" and "tequila lime". But no trace of the dragon shrimp. So,... we paid $27 for three, not four. We got mashed potatoes as the side. Sad to say, this was the best item we had tonight. They didn't give us the bacon, cheese or butter for them. We placed an additional side order for another potato and an order of fries (don't ask, I just order what she says she's in the mood for). Fries, of course, were soggy and ice cold. Normally they'd at least be luke warm, but these were almost fridge cold. Biscuits were, as i'm sure you know, good. I feel they were lacking in seasoning tonight, but that's whatever. Getting back to the Shrimp. The quotations were because these were some of the SADDEST shrimp I've ever had. Coming from a place MADE for their seafood,.... I question why they remain around. I wasn't expecting nothing fancy, but it wasn't even OLIVE GARDEN level. Alfredo tasted like it was canned with zero seasoning and the shrimp were ice cold. Tequila Lime tasted like they spritzed a lime toward it but drank the tequila. Scampi was so bad we threw it out. It almost tasted like old shrimp. The worse was the Dragon Shrimp. It tasted like there was almost none in the order (because there wasn't). Called to complain, no one picked up. $40 in food ladies in gentlemen. I would've rather gotten jimmy johns. We've learned our lesson and will never eat at RL again. sadly 1 star was because of the potatoes being good.

Yelp
So I actually love Red Lobster but this experience was not so good. The waitress who's name I didn't get was really nice. The food on the other hand..... I ordered lunch portion "ENDLESS SOUP AND SALAD WITH BISCUITS " The salad and biscuits were on point! The lobster bisque was horrible! Sooooooo salty!!!! My daughter got the shrimp Alfredo... no flavor . The cream was so thin and watery. I also had a bahama Mama. It was delicious! Not impressed this time but I'm sure we'll be back because it's usually really good.

Lily R.

Yelp
So bad 15 minutes into eating we both were grossed out. Food was horrible, has gone down hill.
google avatar

Yelp
My daughter and I enjoyed the service and the food! Everyone was nice, friendly and kept checking on us! Made us feel really special! We will be back! Crab legs were garlic butter flavored well with broccoli and caesar salad. The Rita drinks were great as well!

Yelp
I have not eaten at Red Lobster in at least three years! This restaurant has always been nostalgic for me, since growing up we dined here regularly. My seafood platter was just as delicious as I remembered it. The lobster tail has gotten smaller, but shrimp scampi is larger. I was disappointed to learn that they no longer dress their salads with tomato and cucumber - I like to add them to my Caesar salad. Red Lobster is still A-ok on my list. p.s. I ate at the Novi location. The COVID precautions were comforting as well.

Yelp
The food was so so, nothing great. The service, was okay, the wait staff was nice and friendly. Overall, it was overpriced and the food was not great.
google avatar

Arin M.

Yelp
Maine Tail Duo that came with french fries ($38.99) and Lobster & Shrimp Tacos ($17.99). I think the Maine Tail Duo was overpriced and it would hardly fill up an adult. Yes, seafood is expensive but my point is the dish is not worth it. The Lobster & Shrimp Tacos were actually pretty good. This was an average experience, not too terrible and not great either. We would probably not come back and opt to explore other restaurants in the area. I guess we expected a little bit more as far as the seafood quality goes.

Yelp
Went to Novi red lobster for valentine day. Food and service was awesome. Boyfriend and I always go to this location. We're pretty much regulars there. After the manager Jeffrey gave us a tip to always head to the bar to eat our meals, that's where we aim to go every visit. Bartenders Mary and Edward took great care of us. If you don't want to wait a long time for a table in the dining room, just head to the bar. Jeff the manager totally changed our way of eating at red lobster!!!! THANKS A MILLION TIMES OVER FOR GREAT FOOD AND LESS WAITING FOR SERVICE!!! Go straight to the bar people....you'll be in and out in no time
google avatar

Aminah K.

Yelp
Came for lobsterfest last weekend. The wait was very long which was to be expected for a Saturdsy night. The thing I cant understand is the super ridiculously slow service. When we finally got a table it was at least 15 minutes before we ordered. And then after that another 10 minutes before we received any biscuis. The food itself is same as any other location. Large quantities of averge quality food. However their biscuits are probably one of the best things on this earth.

julie K.

Yelp
Red lobster charged me for two totally different orders, one went to my neighbors house and I just found out they charged me an additional $95 for that order that I never ordered. This is not the first time this has happened and now I'm going to get legal representation.

Yelp
I've been coming to this location since I was a child. It was our family spot. Tonight, after moving into a new home, I was treated to dinner and boy was I hungry. The hostesses were a bit quiet and then pair that with the music and masks, you couldn't hear anything you just knew they were calling someone because they'd look at you. If you didn't have your phone out for the reserved wait time, 30 minutes, then you'd miss your chance to sit down. Have your phone ready in your hands. The waiter was very friendly and prompt. Our food was so good we barely even tasted it because the plates cleared so fast. I will continue to come back to the this location. Always.
google avatar

Yelp
They do not take reservations. Their website says to call for parties of 7 or more, but when you call they tell you they do not take reservations for any size oarty

Yelp
Red Lobster is consistent and that's why I keep going back. My families all time favorite is the Crab Alfredo, we love it! The sauce is filled with bite size meaty strands of crab that melt in your mouth - so good! The thick and creamy sauce nicely sticks to the pasta, so that every bite is filled with flavor. Consistent for the last 20 years, so the reliability is a huge factor in my rating, you know what to expect and they deliver. My kids love the crab legs and lobster...of course! We also had shrimp scampi, The NEW! Crab-Stuffed Shrimp Rangoons and they were yummy - nice twist on the traditional Rangoon. The Langostino Lobster-Artichoke-and-Seafood Dip was expected to feel like you shouldn't be eating it - it was ok. I loved my house salad, it had just the rig he amount of toppings, no skimping! I would ask that they care more about their broccoli and the white fish was weak. I get it's not the star, but that's my opinion and you know what they say about opinions....And, you know the cheese bread is fantastic! Our waiter today, Michael, they should give him "Employee of the Month", he was perfect! Michael was keenly attentive, he noticed the details and had a great personality. He added just the right amount of conversation, but most importantly he listened and expertly took us through the selections. I think without him it would have been the normal, expected, nice server - but, this was something different. Either Red Lobster is stepping up who and how they train (because really, they are not cheap) or he alone is into serving, at a fine dining level. Michael is a keeper and everyone should try to sit at one of his tables! The call ahead or waitlist, didn't work for me somehow. I don't know it was me or the RL system. That was my only sad moment. Other than that, they are still an old time favorite, a come as you are, and tasty treat to go to Red Lobster! why they deserve a high rating

Amber R.

Yelp
As I casually drank this delicious lobster punch and ate buttery cheddar bay biscuits, our server Laura was a delight to converse with. She was on top of everything. Tara also stopped by our table and was very welcoming. The general manager Jason was also making the rounds and ensuring we had a great experience. We will absolutely be back to this location to see Laura and team.

Yelp
It's Red Lobster. We only go during Endless Shrimp, but when we do, it's delicious and American, and we eat way too much. This time, it was a Sunday night and they were pretty busy. It took our server a little longer than usual to get us waters and our biscuits, but once our first orders came, everything else came out quickly after that, and we were able to eat all that we wanted in about an hour. Unfortunately, they were all out of sriracha honey crispy shrimp, (apparently it's popular) but everything else was just a good as usual. Buttery scampi, crispy hand breaded, skewers and shrimp alfredo, loaded potatoes and salads. Yum. We like this location best out of the few in the metro area we've visited, and will be back for the next Endless Shrimp feast!

Antoinett S.

Yelp
I'm only giving one star because the lobster macaroni bacon dish saved y'all. I love going here but it's not always a good meal I spend over $100 every time I go there. It's a hit and miss with some of the same dishes so there's different people cooking and sabotaging good food or they just don't care how overcooked they make the lobster . I like going there but I'm going to start complaining about the low quality food I sometimes receive and make them cook it right in front of me until it's edible enough to swallow, not just chew on like gum and spit it out lol anyways smh ‍ I'll be back soon lol

Yelp
We haven't visited here in a long while. The service was fair. Our waiter came to check on us but didn't offer to refill our beverages nor did she ask if we'd like dessert. Disappointing. She did introduce herself which is rarely done in most restaurants. The grilled shrimp and Tilapia were delicious. The Walt's shrimp were on the salty side. as were the cheese biscuits, Although the biscuits were light fluffy and warm. We would return for the grilled shrimp and grilled Tilapia but would appreciate better service.

Yelp
Bartender s Mary and Edward took good care of my girlfriend and I tonight on valentines night dinner and drinks. We love the manager Jeffery! What a hoot! Indoors and around the bar was very clean

Brittney T.

Yelp
I took my mother to dinner last night here and we were having seemingly good service. It was pretty busy and our server was doing her best to keep up. Our food arrives and 1 bite in my mother notices a long curly hair in her lobster pasta. The server was just a table away and we flagged her down and she could tell it was bad. She got her manager and the apologies began. They got her something else to eat and the manager said he went in back to "ensure the staff had hair nets on". I think the apologies were great but they didn't take her food off the bill. I think that could have been the least they could do after having an incident like that. Needless to say we will not be back here to eat and be careful if you do decide to eat here.

So 2-14-19 was our 22nd wedding anniversary and of course, Valentine's Day! My husband requested"Red Lobster" & so thats where we went to celebrate. It was early enough for a short "Happy hour" beer, so he ordered one. Our waiter, Christian, was kind of funny & he was nice enough. My husband ordered a "3-choice combo" meal (a steak, scallops & coconut shrimp) & I got linguini Crab Alfredo. The garlic rolls we'd been waiting for, finally came. They were not at all the same mouth-watering, moist & garlic tasty as we remembered. They were pretty dry and tasteless. My husband said his steak was mediocre. I tasted it and thought it was downright "grosse"tasting & a bit rubbery/tough (he ordered it "Medium" -so it shouldn't have been tough). He only got 4 scallops and they were dried out & also tough. I spit mine out! The coconut shrimp tasted awesome ! My crab Alfredo was NOT as moist, creamy and just"all around great as it's always been in the past. We didn't complain because we didn't want to ruin our evenings$ atmosphere. We finished up and received our bill. The waiter didn't give my husband the "happy hour" price for his beer. He also failed to tell us that the $23 combo meal that my husband ordered, actually had 2 up/charges, equaling another $6.00+ . I'm pretty sure this was our last rip to Red Lobster. I told him to talk to a manager. He did mention to our waiter about the "happy hour" price-(lower price beer), not being reflected in our bill. Our waiter finally went to check with the bar tender and that one issue was solved. My husband just wanted to get out on a Saturday and then get out of there, so we didn't bother to squabble about the "up charges". Lastly, I found it odd that even most of the lower priced, chain restaurants offer you a scoop of ice cream or something small, for an anniversary. Christian never said a word or offered anything.(*I had told him at the beginning of our meal that it was our 22nd wedding anniversary). So yea, that just about sums it all up. Too pricey, with "surprise" up charges; along with mediocre food and a waiter who was kind enough but a bit on the lay side. When I waited tables, I'd never have let someone receive surprises in their bill. Also, if the customer stated that they were dismayed at the extra charges and had no idea, I'd have gotten a manager right away & fixed it! Especially for a special occasion, I always wanted my customers to leave happy. Thank you ..

Yelp
I don't like to give bad reviews however if you can skip this place than please do so. My family and I went tonight to have dinner there however it took forever to receive the food and than when we finally got it . It didn't taste good at all everything was way to salty and the food made us really sick. I feel like throwing up all the time and my husband is in a worse shape than me. I am not sure if it is food poisoning or not, however we will know soon enough. Just if you decide to go to this place be careful what you order I had stake and lobster and my husband had stake and shrimps with caesar salad and clam chowder soup.

Yelp
First time ever at a Red Lobster Only seating at 50% and only 6 to a table. We had 7 people and had to get 2 tables. We had a booth and a table and not understanding why we couldn't use both tables l ordered the Fish Fry Friday and ordered the new roasted brussel sprouts with crispy onion. Also ordered from the kids menu was the lobster tail with butter sauce and orange slices. The garlic cheese biscuits were so yummy. The fish fry was a large piece of heavily battered fish and very greasy. The taste was good but I prefer to taste more of the fish then the batter. The cole slaw was a bit to sweet for me and had a lot of different flavors. The kids lobster tail was perfect and asked for more. The roasted brussel sprouts were amazing with a hint of a sweetness. Nice job! Our waitresses Geri & Maddy were so pleasant and wonderful. Always one step ahead of what we needed including refills. Way to go ladies! Thank you so much for a fantastic costumer experience.

Yelp
I should start by saying I am NOT a big seafood eater. I like shrimp, I'll eat crab, and that's it. But, it's my father-in-law's favorite restaurant and we were celebrating father's day. I started with the thai chili shrimp appetizer which was good, I've certainly had better with more flavor but I'd get it again. For an entree I had walt's fried shrimp (are you seeing a theme here?) With mashed potatoes. I love, love, LOVE that they carry Tabasco sauce, since I didn't happen to be doing my Beyonce impression and have have hot sauce it in my bag. The salad was delicious, cheddar biscuits were awesome, and service was quick. Portions are a little small but otherwise, no complaints here!

Yelp
RL Novi is the worst one of all of the RL's. The manager and his staff were more interested in eating the food behind the bar instead of actually helping the patrons. After the long wait for ordering...the food finally came and it was luke warm and the shrimp were less to be desirable, very limp. When asked to speak to the manager- he was mostly interested in how he looked than in actually providing good service. We ordered the endless shrimp and were sorely disappointed in the food, the wait time to get more. If you want to spend your money on long wait times, and limpy shrimp-then this is the place for you. If not, find somewhere where you, your time and money will be treated with respect. Would not recommend this even to my worst friend.

Yelp
This place is poorly managed with slow service and filthy, nasty, restrooms. Just atrocious. The food was hot and tasted okay. I probably will not ever come back though.

Yelp
They have daily specials which are really reasonable and I also really enjoy their lunch specials. Food is always good and the staff is friendly.
