Red Lobster

We were seated promptly, but waited probably 10 minutes before being initially attended to with menus and asking for drinks. I'm patient, but this is an extraordinary amount of time for restaurant service. This was surprising, given the restaurant was hardly full. Our server was kind and respectful however. The food was decent, the steak was good. It's not fantastic, but good, I was satisfied. Pleasant overall experience, however, given the lack of timelines and relative food quality, I'm not certain I'd come back.

We haven’t been to a Red Lobster in over a decade and though it’s a chain restaurant, it definitely has its place. That being said, we went and tried their weekly special where you can order unlimited shrimp and it was actually quite fantastic at that price point. Our waitress was very attentive and cordial, which could be quite rare at restaurants in downtown Silver Spring. All the shrimps were cooked well and overall they did a great job, not too shabby for a chain restaurant. It was a weeknight and the restaurant was a bit empty, which honestly we didn’t mind.

Our waiter is Brayan cute, very pleasant, attentive, and professional. The food was good.. is been over it’s 15 years since I came back here. We got a gift card. Brayan was so amazing.. May god bless and favor his life’s every need..

When I got there the bartender was so nice and everything was done quickly. Once I came home I checked and the salmon was burnt, the biscuits were dry and hard, the rice was dry as well and hard the other one was dry as well but not hard as the first one, the shrimp and clam were undercooked ,raw still. Overall the experience was nice but the food was not it.

We wanted to quench our thirst for fresh shelfish and the nostalgia of the Red Lobster experience. We got it here. I would write on and on about it but there really was no weak point so A+ 100% great. We warmed up with some tea in some very nice mugs. Our bread arrived warm, excellent lobster and snow crab followed. See the pics for yourself. The gloves helped me make less of a mess. Thanks!

I don't know if the hostess was having a bad day or what. But she set the tone for how the experience went. She seemed upset when I stated that I didn't think my mother would want to sit in the bar area. I mean the restaurant was relatively empty on a Monday afternoon so why not seat us in the dining area instead of stating "well pick where you want to sit"! Like really lady. The server who delivered our food basically just dropped our food off and before I could tell her that she forgot my mother's salad she was gone. Which caused me to get up and ask for her salad. My mother ordered the all you can eat shrimp and had to flag our waitress down to place her second request. Because she NEVER came back to the table to ask if my mother wanted to order additional shrimp. Now back to the hostess. I asked her if she could get our waitress because we did not see her to ask if RL has senior citizen discount. She said she would, but proceeded to start cleaning off the table behind us. My mother asked her if they had the discount and she said no and proceeded to remove glasses and start cleaning off our table. I advised her that my mother was still drinking her arnold palmer at which time she's looking around as if to say oh which glass is hers. Ma'am you will not return the glass to the table thinking someone is going to drink out of it after you just finished removing items from TWO tables. At this juncture it was a wrap.

I haven’t been to Red Lobster in years, so I was especially glad when I bit into a delicious cheddar bay biscuit last week. I also enjoyed my sirloin, green beans, and mashed potatoes with Norwegian lobster. I can’t remember the name of my drink, but it was recommended by my waitress, Isabella, and it was really good. All the staff were very nice and they did a good job of making sure everyone was socially distanced since they don’t offer outdoor seating. This was a nice little dinner the other night, I’m looking forward to returning for some lobster soon!

They have little parking in their lot on most days so you have to usually use the garage. They don’t pay great attention to special details section of online orders but server was nice and place was extremely clean. They also appeared to have nice cocktails.
