We went to Red Lobster for my mother-in-law’s birthday (her favorite place) and had a great experience from the moment we walked in. We were immediately acknowledged at the door, and one of the waitresses made my daughter’s day by letting her touch a lobster from the lobster tank—she absolutely loved it! The manager, Alex, introduced himself and was very personable, which made us feel welcome right away. Our waitress, Jessica, was equally wonderful—friendly, quick, attentive, and very detail-oriented. The food overall was amazing! Everything came out quickly and tasted fresh and delicious. The only small disappointment was the mashed potatoes—we were expecting creamy, buttery potatoes, but instead got a scoop that was a bit dry, lacking flavor, and only lukewarm. Other than that minor detail, everything else exceeded our expectations, and we truly enjoyed our time there. We’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere was great of course was with the family. The waiter was patient he brought out everything on time none of the food was cold. Five family members got the Seafood Boil most of them complained it wasn't enough sauce in the bag.

The Family Mariner's sea food boil was delicious. It doesn't include sausage but has lobster tails that were very good. The old bay and butter sauce had a little heat, but I was still able to enjoy it. The corn was a little over cooked. I like the firm potatoes, but some were too firm because there were bigger potatoes. Despite the corn and some potatoes, it was delicious. I would order it again. The service was good; I did a to go order. It should come with 8 biscuits, but I only received 6. The packaging was very secure so no leaks, but they forgot the wipes, bibs, etc. Not a big deal because we were going home be sure to check that you have everything before leaving. Looking forward to trying the garlic and butter during the next visit.

Give red lobster another chance here in Toms River we had calamari it was crispy tender absolutely delicious. We had the Wednesday special sirloin and lobster tail steak was cooked to perfection tasted delicious and the tail was perfection, the baked potato still is the best ever. Barbara the manager is running a well oiled machine her restaurant is perfect , we walked in immediately noticed this place is pristine. Huge bar to sit with friends. Please give them another chance you won’t be disappointed

I have been disappointed with Red Lobster at other locations and had my dad not asked to go here, I may have missed an amazing meal and service. We went for dinner and the service was absolutely wonderful and friendly. The food was delicious. I got a twin Lobster tail meal with a delicious mac and cheese side. Dad got a shrimp and lobster dish. All was absolutely delicious and will have me returning. Thanks Red Lobster for a great meal and wonderful service. 2/14/2025 - My Dad and I came back here today for a great meal out. We don’t normally go to Red Lobster where I live in Florida because it is not very good, this one however is absolutely great. Tonight we each got a large feast and had plenty to bring home. Food was delicious, service was great (Thank you Zander) and the hostess was friendly and really working hard tonight as busy as they were.

Paul was amazing!! Honestly, I thought he was a manager with how polite and attentive he was. Service like what Paul demonstrated doesn’t always happen, but when it does, it should be appreciated. We visited the Toms River location last night and had such a wonderful time! We honestly didn't expect much, but we were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant was nice and clean, and a cheerful hostess greeted us with a big smile right away. I decided to try the chicken, and it was absolutely delicious! My nephew and husband chose one of the new seafood boils, and they were just blown away by how good it was. My niece went for one of the pasta dishes and loved it too! What really made our evening, though, was our server, Andrew. He was simply amazing! Since it's been over 20 years since our last visit, we had quite a few questions, and Andrew answered all of them with such enthusiasm--as if he were the owner! He was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you haven't been to Red Lobster in a while, I highly recommend checking it out and asking for Andrew! You won't be disappointed!

I had stopped Going here for quite a long time because I got sick before the bill came years ago. In the past year, I was presently surprised they have new items on the menu. The coconut shrimp mango bowl with pina colada dressing is delicious. Bairadi crabs are an experience in theor own. Although our waiter quit while we were in the middle of service, nothing to do with us, we still enjoyed our experience and have since returned although the waiter has not. The manager is very professional and kind.

I just went here tonight with my girlfriend. Just wanted to say, that this was an awesome experience! The restaurant looks very clean and friendly, and is a nice retro-looking place to be. The food was excellent, and I'd especially like to give props to the server, Hilda, who was extremely nice and tended to all of our needs despite us having a lot of questions and asks! This was one of the best servers I've ever had the pleasure of being served by at any restaurant I've ever gone to. This would be a 5/5 review despite how long the food took to come out. That is my only downside. Seemed like a little bit of a long wait. Other than that, I enjoyed this a lot! And I've enjoyed it every time I've gone!

Food was reasonably priced for our order. Service was great. Jaimie was our waitress and she was on point. She provided refills on beverages without request and checked in often for service. While we were there for our meal there were two tables celebrating birthdays and the mood was right. All the staff came out to sing and celebrate. Nice restaurant for the chain.

I love Red Lobster! This location was especially great! The service, the decor, the cleanliness, and our waitress was all wonderful! Our food came out fresh, hot, and tasty! We had a great beach day and wanted to try out a local spot but I couldnt pass up a Red Lobster visit! I would definitely recommend to others and will be back next time we go to the beach! Thumbs up!

Didn't take pictures of all our food smh but enjoyed our night. Came out for dinner with my family for Tuesday $20/crabs and endless shrimp. It was crowded so we had a bit of a wait so my sister and I sat at the bar for a drink. Bartender took very good care of us and I'm upset that I forgot his name but he made sure we were seated at a table after he noticed how long we've waited. The watermelon mint margarita is a must try. Once at the table orders were placed and food was flowing. I was a bit disappointed that they ran out of the garlic butter sauce so I was unable to order that flavor with my crabs so I asked for the scampi sauce on the side. It was very crowded so it was a little noisy but nothing out of the ordinary atmosphere for Red Lobsters.

My mom and I were here for dinner today. I had the Wednesday night steak and lobster special with salad and mashed potatoes. Potatoes were a little salty, but I should have stuck with my standard baked potato. Mom had the linguini with lobster and salad. Delicious, as she said it always is. The highlight of our dinner today was GM Barbara's service and ability to solve a problem for us. My mom received an e-gift card from my brother for Mother's Day, but she accidentally deleted it. All my brother was able to send us was the receipt, but not another GC. Barbara was beyond accommodating, taking all the steps necessary to track down the gift card! Everyone there, from hostess to server to Barbara, was phenomenal, providing outstanding customer service. I know my mom is do disappointed to hear that Red Lobsters were closing, but thrilled that this Tom's River one was still open!!

There were good and mediocre aspects to tonight's dinner at the Tom's River, NJ location. Service: excellent. The hostess was very considerate of my mobility issues and checked to make sure I was happy with the table location and she insisted on holding the door for me as I left. She didn't have a name tag on. Our waiter was Will and he could not have been any better. Friendly, courteous and followed up quickly on our requests. Food: all food arrived hot. Mashed potatoes and broccoli cooked perfectly. I ordered my usual Admiral's Feast. If I was blindfolded I would not be able to tell you what seafood I was eating, just that it was fried. My husband said the same. Disappointing since I've ordered this dish for years, although this was our first time eating at this location.

Came with my boyfriend for the endless shrimp special. We both did the special - it was $25 per person. You start with three choices of shrimp (from a menu of 6). I did the shrimp scampi, coconut shrimp, and shrimp Alfredo. Everything was delicious! Of course we got the infamous biscuits as well. Our server was unbelievably friendly, restaurant was quiet for a Wednesday night around 6pm. Will definitely come back!

Today was my 44th birthday and my husband and son took me out for dinner ! The food was absolutely amazing, I loved the frozen bahama mama the service was impeccable! The server Colin went out of his way to gather other staff to sing me Happy Birthday without even being asked ! It really made my night and made me feel very special! Colin was fabulous

This red lobster was good. Staff were friendly and did their job well. The food was good too. I ordered the blue lagoon drink and it wasn't strong so I wouldn't get it again. I had the lobster bisque and it was good. It sort of tasted more like it had cheese though which was different from any I've had. The ultimate feast could've used more seasoning on the lobster tails and scampi sauce but it tasted good. Of course the biscuits were delicious and so cheesy. My favorite part of course was the vanilla bean cheesecake. My fave dessert there and it never fails me.

We went on a very busy Saturday for dinner. It was a beautiful day and everyone seemed like they wanted to go out to dinner. The quoted wait time was spot on. Our server, Candice was amazing! I had quite a long tenure in management in the restaurant industry when I was much younger. I tend to watch and notice things that average restaurant patrons would not. I actually ordered the bacon cheeseburger. The burger was cooked exactly as I had ordered, look very good and tasted very good. I even commented that "this burger looks like it's in a commercial". My wife had the shrimp linguine which she said was also very good. Candice was very attentive during our meal. If Candice is not a trainer-she should be. Very friendly and knowledgeable. She even helped me with my Rewards App on my phone. Well done!

I wish I could give red lobster more stars but it was mediocre. Our server was great, very attentive and informative and we didn't have to sit for Our table. Our food came out rather quickly but it wasn't the best I've had at red lobster. We are fans of the lobster fest and excited to order everything with lobster in it. My Lobster was tough and chewy and my shrimp seemed over cooked. Wasn't the the best at red lobster.

Had lunch today at toms river (NJ) Red Lobster. I ordered a stuffed/baked 1 1/4 pounder. It came with fries and cole slaw. My wife had grilled chicken with maple sauce and fries Bill came to $80.00! The lobster was so overdone that it was black-charred on one side and the tail was like a piece of dried rope! Worst lobster ever! Chicken was OK, but only amounting to a very small breast. The bill was not itemized, but I surmise that that overdone lobster cost $50. My fault for not sending it back, but it was so bad I didn't think of that. In any case, I will never go there again. On Sunday, March 10, 2024, my friend and I went out for dinner. The food was delicious, and our waiter, Zack, was terrific. I watched the manager walk from the back and greet every table in our section multiple times. He never felt the need to stop at the table with African American customers, and I felt highly disrespected by how Steve treated us. This is discrimination at its finest, in case he was unaware.

I hate giving a bad review especially with The way everything has been this year, but I just had the worst takeout experience. If takeout is the new way to go why can't these chains seem to get it right ? The Cesar salad was pathetic, mostly brown and wilted lettuce and soggy cheese and croutons. About 10 fries came with my lobster dinner and the crab Rangoon app was so small I couldn't even believe I spent money on it. It just upsets me to spend 70$ on takeout and it be terrible. Again I feel bad posting a bad review but if your going to offer takeout make it as good as sitting in the restaurant. I won't be placing a takeout order from this place anymore.

Red Lobster advertised like crazy about their Cheddar Bay Biscuits in a heart shaped box for Valentine's Day. I called the Weds before ale tunes Day to reserve a box. Spoke to a manager who said, "don't worry about it. You don't have to make a reservation. We have plenty." I asked if I had to get there by a certain time and he said no, they have more than enough for everyone. Come Valentines Day, I'm driving to the restaurant at about 6:30 PM and called 10 mins away to see if they had to get it ready, or if I could just pick it up. A hostess answers the phone and tells me, "Sorry, we sold out of those hours ago!" At this point, I'm shocked and I tell her about my conversation from Weds with a manager and she tells me, "So sorry. Yeah, you probably should've reserved a box..." Come on! How inept does a place have to be, that they can't get their story straight! I haven't been to Red Lobster in years and this is just another example why...

Look it's Red Lobster so I am moderating my expectations accordingly but on a slow evening they did everything in their power to underwhelm and overcharge, chain restaurant or not. When I ordered their Shrimp Alfredo I certainly do not expect flagrantly overcooked pasta garnished with microscopic canned shrimp better left to the processed seafood factories of Carnation or Bumble Bee. Again, I'm well aware that Red Lobster is to quality seafood what Cap'n Crunch is to actual seafaring but five ounces of pasta and seven dwarf shrimp for $17.99 is not just a throwaway meal but a fair bit of piracy on the high seas. Never more, never more.

I got food poisoning from this restaurant. I went to take my girlfriend for her birthday and we had the endless shrimp. The food was cold and I had immediate stomach pain after eating it. The biscuits which are normally my favorite, were greasy and looked gross. Ordered a pina colada and it had no alcohol in it but charged me 7 dollars for the drink. I would of said something to out waitress but she ghosted us.I frequently go to this restaurant but not after yesterday. I still am sick from this nasty food. The waitress was horrible too. Stay away from this one.

I'm generally not a huge fan of chain restaurants, they tend to underwhelm. But Red Lobster is one of the very few chains that I actually like. It's tasty. Do I want cheddar biscuits? Are you kidding me? Hell yea I want cheddar biscuits! I started out with my favourite appetizer, crab and seafood stuffed mushrooms. Wow, they are delicious. Tons of tasty stuffing, smothered in cheese. They were so good I forgot to take a picture. When they were placed in front of me I couldn't hold back and I had to dig right in. For the mains I had the crab and roasted garlic seafood bake. Fantastic. Plenty of crab legs, generous portion of bay scallops and shrimp. Finished off with new potatoes and corn on the cob. All this seafood comes bathing in a hot tub of a garlicy scampi like sauce. Even though I didn't have it tonight, their shrimp scampi is one of the best shrimp scampi's I've ever tasted. We topped everything off with the warm apple crostada. Not bad, tasty but the pastry wasn't as crispy as the crostada at Carrabbas. Possibly the result of it being microwaved to warm it up. One star off for that. Suffice to say, by the end of the meal I was stuffed. Delicious. The staff are quite good, attentive, timely. The restaurant was very clean, although it was a Thursday so it's not one of the busiest days of the week. All in all a very good meal and Red Lobster remains on my list of favourite restaurants.

What can you say about Red Lobster that hasn't already been said? We came here because we were going to a movie down the road and wanted to eat first. I called ahead to ask what the wait time would be, 20 minutes on a Saturday at 5pm seemed pretty good and that's how long it would take to arrive. So we were put on the wait list as if we were already there. Can't complain about that! Arrived to a pretty busy waiting area and let the hostess know we were there and we were seated within five minutes. Nice. We had a booth in the bar area and even though it was busy, it wasn't loud or distracting. The menu has changed, prices are a bit high IMO for this seafood chain. It's not locally caught seafood, we are on the Jersey shore, but it's tasty. Told the waitress we had a movie to get to so service was good, speedy but not rushed. Place is nicely decorated, clean and the staff all looked happy.

Went here before Thanksgiving 2021. When we received our salads, the lettuce was brown and slimy. I didn't notice right way because the lighting was low so I ate most of mine. And yes I had stomach pains the rest of the evening. We would of informed our waitress but she rarely came over so I stopped another waiter. Showed him our salads and he agreed. He then stated he already informed the manager that the salad looked bad but apparently the manager didn't care to change it. New salads came and guess what was on the bottom? Brown, slimy salad. All they did was put new salad on top of old salad. Also had to ask another waiter for drinks because our waitress, Alexa Rae R, apparently felt it not necessary to check on us. My main meal was good but my wife's main meal was too salty and not good. She barely ate any of it. When Alexa finally did come over, I explained about the salad and my wife's meal. She apologized but that's it. No getting the manager, no taking the salads off or discounting our bill. Nothing. We had to stop somewhere else to get my wife some food. And it wasn't busy. Anyone giving this play a good review has obviously never had good seafood. Decided that I didn't want to cook and since this pandemic, I am left with little choice on delivery. Wasted $75 using Door Dash tonight. I ordered the shrimp trio and added a side of 6 biscuits for $3 and I got 4. Please explain to me in what universe half a dozen equals 4? $8 for a slice of Key Lime pie! It is literally 1 1/2" at the widest part. Seriously? Ice cold, over cooked and wrinkled green beans, TEN soggy french fries and my "creamy" pasta sauce might as well have been Elmer's Glue. Forget about the fact I ordered a shrimp trio... whoever counts needs some help. I got two shrimp varieties, and whatever the hell you sent me as shrimp scampi, I assure you it was not. It was a grease pit of goo and shrimp. -- see? that is two shrimp dishes in my trio because I didn't complain about a third, which I'm sure I would have. Now, this could be because I omitted the fried shrimp and added a scampi and they combined it, but it was still over cooked shrimp in a puddle of goo. How the hell do you get 1100 calories for your dish from SHRIMP? What the hell poison oil are you using, because I can make & eat shrimp as you presented it for around 400-500 calories. Husband ordered the Admirals Feast. Over cooked, rubbery fish on ALL varieties presented. He threw most of it out. You are no longer going to be purchased through Door Dash. You are absolute proof that using Door Dash is a rip off. Restaurants like yours are cheating on portions because it takes forever to get the food and customers are near dead from starvation to bother to send it back. $75 for crap in buckets. Might as well have eaten out of the cat's litter box. SHAME ON YOU. *disclaimer: this is NOT the fault of Door Dash, this is all on the restaurant.

Extremely disappointed after watching commercials for lobster fest. Ordered a shrimp Alfredo which came out cold and cold pasta had hardened on top. I asked for it to be heated and it was brought back with extra sauce to cover cold pasta. My husband ordered ultimate feast so did my niece. The crab legs were cold. My son in law ordered snow crab legs also cold. I was very upset having to request for all our foods to be reheated. It was a Sunday night, place was empty and unnecessary for food to be sent out cold. The waitress grabbed a plate and took everyone's crab legs from their plates and placed them on one. Brought them back and gave back. I asked how were they reheated and she stated steamed. We were not asked for refills of our drinks. Nor asked if we wanted dessert. I will not be coming back . My trip to Red Lobster was a disaster!

I have never had a bad meal at this Red Lobster, always on point. Tonight was a bit different. I have been eating at this location for years and have always eaten the same thing, the flounder. Tonight, I found out they replaced all their flounder with pollack because of some "flounder shortage" and is now listed on the menu as "white fish" so they can substitute any fish. The only seafood I eat is founder or cod or similar, so I guess this might be the last trip to Red Lobster until they bring flounder back and will have to buy flounder in the grocery store and eat at home. This is the only reason I rated it at 4 Stars instead of 5.

We tried one of the lobster fest specials for lunch. It consisted of stuffed lobster tail and lobster tail with shrimp, mashed potatoes and green beans. Overall the lobster was good, but the green beans were drowned in a very salty yellow cream sauce I could have done without. Lunch came with salad. Meal was about $75 for the two of us.

I got the Cajun salmon and some sides. The Cajun salmon was mediocre at best with not too much flavor but the sides are what disappointed me most. I got the lobster mashed potatoes that had maybe 2-3 tiny chunks of lobster. I got corn that costed extra as a side for some unbeknownst reason that wasn't very satisfying either. All in all the food was way overpriced for what it actually was.
