Red Lotus Asian Kitchen

We ordered egg rolls and chicken and beef lo mein. The portion sizes are very good. They made their food shockingly quick, but I understand why-- because the beef and chicken were definitely frozen, it tasted disgusting- I could taste the freezer burn on the food. The beef was such a low quality that it was chewy and fatty. I come from an area that's well known for Vietnamese food so I'm a little spoiled but this place was really bad. I don't understand why they don't try to make the food more fresh because there are great ingredients in Kansas City AND the place is busy!! Overall, I just wish that they had more pride in their food.

Ordered the General Tso chicken…. And got soggy chicken balls . And it’s comes with nastiest and thickest dodo brown sauce I’ve ever had . And rice was dry

Took 40+ minutes to get my food….only to have it be incorrect. Whatever I did get was not good…….inedible not good. A wildly frustrating waste of time and money.

My opinion not good. No flavor- Thai pad. Noodles were mushy, like they were sitting in water way too long. Do give lots of chicken in the combo. I enjoy Asian cuisine but this Pad Thai was not good and will not be returning here. Not worth the $$ paid. My family member had the Fried rice combo- same thing- no flavor. We threw it away. Very sad. FYI- Crag Rangoon is a sweet light taste. I would buy that again if I was hungry. It also sits right next to the smoking section- ugh

The shrimp fried rice and dumplings are delicious and I am picky!! I don’t understand why people are saying it has no flavor. It has onions, green onions, carrots, garlic, egg. It tastes better to me than local Asian restaurants! But the Asian workers aren’t friendly.

Went on 8/6 for the 1st time and ordered the combination lo mein, no shrimp extra chicken, the size of chicken and beef were large but had no taste, went back on 9/2 this time I said I'll order same thing but spicy. Still no taste and the food was dry and I found a piece of a egg shell in my food?.absolutely 💯 the worse food I've ever had...I'm done!

Terrible food! I ordered 2 egg-rolls, the cost was $6.50, which I thought was a little pricey. When the eggs-rolls were done the cook called my number for the order and handed me a plastic bag. There was no thank you from the cook. I had to ask for napkins and plastic silverware, this place is too cheap to even have them readily available. I guess they think they can save a nickle and expect people to eat their food with their hands. The egg rolls tasted extremely bland, the sauce for the eggs rolls tasted like it was water-down. I don't see how management could condone serving such a terrible product such as their eggs rolls. Oh, maybe they just don't care. That was the attitude I perceived from The Red Lotus.

We ordered several different things from the menu and all were bad! The most disappointing was the general tsa chicken. It was literally McDonald’s chicken nuggets with some bad sauce. My wife and I ate here a year ago and it was great. Not sure what is going on but do not eat this food.
