Wandered in here not knowing what to expect. Was a bit surprised that the menu had Japanese, Thai, and Chinese items. My experience has not been good with blended Asian cuisines. I have to say that I was surprised, the different dishes were decent! I started with the Miso soup, it was okay, but did have a generous amount of seaweed. Next I had a California Roll as an appetizer. I appreciated that the roll was more fillings than rice. Again, a decent dish. Lastly I had the Panang Curry with Chicken. This was the highlight. It was flavorful and a generous portion of Chicken and Veggies. Also I was happy they had the option of brown rice. Overall, the service was good, and the food would bring me back again.

Very cool place. Ordered spring rolls and yaki soba with pork. Food was excellent and lovingly made. The bar is really neat and cozy with friendly staff. If you enjoy Japanese food you should definitely try this place out.

Loved the food. Thank you for your service on a Christmas holiday. And, I wish you a Merry Christmas. 🎄

Check this place out! Delicious and affordable. I got the American Dream roll, the Golden Eel, and a standard salmon and avocado roll, all with brown rice. The salmon avocado was good enough on its own. The Golden Eel was my favorite. The American Dream I probably won’t get again, just because it had a sugary sauce on it. My only constructive criticism is that the lights were a little bright. The parking lot is a bit cramped, but there was enough parking to go around. Plenty of seating for groups, and for solo eaters like me. The bar also looked nice.

So far, so very good. I had mine via Grubhub delivery once - but am so impressed - especially with the variety and moderate (to cheap) prices on the menu. And it involves the staples plus some of all the top 3 Asian cuisines - Japanese, Chinese and Thai. It's hard to choose - but you'll always be able to get what you want.

First time visit, not sure if we will go again. Shortly after we arrived, the waiter spilled the ice water on me. The whole right side of my body was soaked. They got it mopped up and cleaned the floor quickly. I expected they would make my entry free, or comp desserts, but no. I was very disappointed. May not return. However, I thought the food was very good and well prepared. Their customer service should be better.

Pictured: Garlic Sauce Chicken (spicy?) Great atmosphere and service. Wasn't busy when I dined here. I love garlic and spicy food, so this dish caught my eye. The flavor and portions were great, but it wasn't as spicy or garlic-y as I had hoped. Would come again though!

This is my second time visiting this place. The food was excellent, the service was very good, but it was very unpleasant to hear an employee who works at the bar named LIN yelling at another coworker, fighting, and everything could be heard because she was yelling. I hope the owner of the restaurant avoids hiring people with such bad manners. The boy she was fighting with was trying to say something to her in a low voice, but she never heard him, she only offended him. I don't think we'll go there again if she continues working there, she ruins the atmosphere.

Yelp
We used to go to Red Maple regularly. There were some minor irritations but the service and food were good. Then staff changed and along came Covid and we stopped going there. Recently our favorite Chinese restaurant closed and we hadn't been able to find a replacement. Rich suggested we give Red Maple a try again. On a Sunday afternoon it was quiet when we got there. We got a seat in a booth in the bar. It's usually quiet in the bar area and we like to sit in a booth. A waiter came shortly and brought us water and took our drink orders. Rich had a tall beer and I had a Mai Thai. They have delicious Mai Thai complete with an umbrella, orange slice or more recently a slice of star fruit. Our first time back I ordered the salmon tempura with miso soup and Spanish rice. Miso soup can be very bland but their's is very good. The salmon came on a sizzling platter with sliced onions and peppers. Much like a fajita platter, delicious. Rich had Pad Thai and he liked it but it was not my favorite. Our second trip I had the chicken teriyaki and it was very good but I preferred the salmon. And on our third trip I had chicken lo mein. The portion was huge! I ate until I was full and we took the rest home and shared it for dinner. On our second visit Rich had a bento box but decided on our third visit the salmon teriyaki was the way to go. There service was perfect. We had a waiter the first visit and waitresses the second and third. It was nice to have good experiences at Red Maple and it has been added back into our regular rotation of favorite restaurants.

Yelp
It is nice that the Four Corners community has a restaurant that explores multiple Asian cuisines. So I appreciate that I could pick between Japanese, Chinese, and Thai options. However, I do wish that Red Maple would narrow their vast menu to perfect a smaller menu of excellent dishes. I was disappointed by the two dishes that I received. I went with two sushi rolls which *should have been an easy home run. Spicy salmon and spicy tuna rolls. Both lacked flavor, tasted of panko filler; and the soy was awful. Next I had their "Thai" basil which was some form of a bell pepper and mushroom stir fry with chicken strips. Pad Krapow Gai should be a ground chicken dish with crispy basil and small spicy peppers. Any Thai aficionado who sees the photo I took will be horrified. We went on a Sunday, so service was light and set up for mostly a carry-out crowd. It appears that much of their business is oriented to carry out. However, they do have a nice bar area with live sports, so that's a big plus. All together, this place is okay if you are local, hungry, and looking for something different than the local pub fare. I do hope that Red Maple can at least spend a little time to improve their menu options by doing a little research on each dish.

Yelp
*Epic* restaurant fail tonight (Christmas Day '23). Service really could not have been worse. Had reservations at Red Maple. Which - while chronically a little short-staffed - is usually enjoyable anyway. Was prepared for service to be quite slow. Reservations were for 6:30. Arrived at 6:20. There was a long line of folks waiting for their takeout, and the hostess was managing that plus seating folks. But after about 10 minutes we got seated. No drinks menu. Missing a cutlery setup. Nobody brought water. Nobody came to our table at all. After about 40 minutes I asked a bus person if we had a waiter assigned to our table, and she summoned someone. We ordered two glasses of wine, a Thai iced tea, and water for the table. Also 2 appetizers and 3 entrees. After another 20 minutes, the wine, Thai iced tea, and one glass of water arrived. We asked for the additional water. I poached a cutlery setup from a nearby table. Time passed. No water. After about another 10 or 15 minutes, Neil's and Marge's entrees showed up. Mine did not, and we hadn't seen our appetizers. Still no water. I flagged down our server - eventually - and asked about all the missing food, and about the water. Was assured they were on their way. About 15 minutes later, Marge and N were almost finished eating. I gave up and went to stand in front of the computer station where they enter orders, so that they HAD to recognize my existence, and asked to get my dinner to go, and asked for the check, and said we were parched and could we PLEASE get some water. Someone finally brought water. And eventually - almost two hours from when we arrived, long after N&M finished their dinner - I did receive my dinner, packaged to go. Note that they took nothing off the bill. So I'm sitting at my dining room table alone, eating my Christmas dinner. I understand that Christmas Day is batshit. I expected the kitchen to be slow. Maybe VERY slow. But that doesn't explain forgetting my dinner, or sending out entrees before appetizers. And why did it take more than an hour to get WATER? It's a pity. I love their food. But it's going to be a long time before I'm willing to return to Red Maple.

Yelp
This review is purely on the food as we ordered delivery. Our orders were correct and arrived on time, but the food honestly was just not good. To the point that we didn't even finish it. We ordered the General Tso and Red Maple Treasure. Both were just so bland and it honestly just didn't taste good. It was a bummer because each dish was close to $20 through the delivery app we used, and that just felt like so much money to spend on this meal. Maybe it was just a bad night in the kitchen? Red Maple has been on our list to try for awhile since I've seen it recommended locally- but we probably won't try again.

Yelp
The food at this location was very good. It has a wide range of meal options, however, it's well known for their Sushi Rolls, Nigirizushi, Makizushi, Sashimi and California rolls. Presentation of the food was very beautiful and the flavor was amazing. The ambience of the location was very nice conveniently situated at four corners. The parking lot isn't big my suggestion is to get a Lyft or Uber to drop you off at this location. Our service could have been a little bit better due to the server. Nonetheless, it didn't take away from the experience. I would definitely return back. This is a good date night location and a family friendly atmosphere. There is a bar located in the restaurant as well I noticed that there were a lot of locals at this location.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I did not have the best experience at Red Maple. I'll begin with the good. Overally, I thought Red Maple's staff were very nice and attentive; however, the service did not match my dining experience. For my meal, I order the Spicy Thai Soup. When it came out, I was very impressive with the size of the soup for the $14 price tag. The bowl was HUGE and had plenty of seafood (e.g., jumbo shrimp, sea scallops, calamari and oysters). Unfortunately, the seafood had a very weird and somewhat rancid smell and taste. When I bit into a calamari, I thought maybe one calamari was "bad". However, I had the same observation when I bit into a scallop. Since I was already in a crabby (no pun) before arriving at Red Maple, I really did not want to get into a back and forth about the soup's quality. So, I paid for the soup (even though I ate 0.1% of it) and left.

Yelp
I went at the suggestion of a coworker after PD and I'm glad I did. As you can see I forgot to take a picture of my plate (delicious BTW) but I was excited to see they serve Ramune. I had the Black Pearl Roll (Tuna, Salmon & avocado wrapped in black rice). My coworkers had fried rice, lo mein, dumplings, miso soup, salad and Shirley Temples. The servers were very attentive, the restaurant was clean and the background music was nostalgic is a good way. There's enough room to bring a decent sized group and enjoy the day or evening. There were seven of us and our bill came just under $130. We all left satisfied. No dish was oily and the presentation matched the taste.

BreAna M.

Yelp
I've only had the sushi, and it's decent for a neighborhood restaurant. I thought the rolls were on the small side compared to other sushi I've had in the area, but it's always been fresh. The miso soup on the other hand is awful. Maybe I had a bad batch, but it just tasted like water. No flavor at all.

Yelp
We just ordered delivery from Red Maple. Ordered a good amount of food ($109.98 before taxes and tip). My daughter is pretty picky when it comes to food. But she will eat edamame and fried rice (plain). So, of course, we ordered some edamame from the appetizer menu ($6.32). Delivery came, pretty quickly (kudos for that). But, they had forgotten to bring the edamame! We called, knowing that they would not be coming back out to bring the small priced item (no accountability). So, we were just calling to get a refund. Red Maple would only reimburse us $1.91! So they basically stole $4.41 from us. Sad really, because my company orders food from them a few times a month. To the tune of over $280 an order. I guess we will be giving another restaurant in the area our business from here on out. So when you look at your profits for next year, and notice over $6000 missing. Just remember that four dollars and forty one cents that cost you1500%. Good Luck

Abbie L.

Yelp
I recently dined at Red Maple and had an enjoyable experience. The ambiance was pleasant, the service was friendly, and the food was good.

Audra H.

Yelp
We enjoyed the food from Red sample but were extremely disappointing because they only sent one brown rice (we ordered two white rices) and they didn't send the Garlic Chicken. Luckily we were able to get our money back for the missing items. The Mongolian Beef, Crab Rangoon and Double Dragon Roll that were correct were delicious and we were pleased with those! We will try Red Maple again and hope they finally get the order correct next time!

Yelp
I have eaten at Red Maple for the past 4 years but I will certainly never order food from this location again. I've never had a single bad experience at their other store but today I had the most low quality sushi I have ever had and for $80, I was more than disappointed. The eel avocado roll I ordered was full of pin bones. How do you not have the attention to detail to make sure that the eel is deboned? The yellowtail hand roll was even worse. It wasn't the beautiful light and slightly firm fish that I love. Instead it was full of stringy long pieces of fat that I physically could not bite through and it was super dark brownish red and mushy. It was absolutely disgusting and I have never seen any yellowtail like this in sushi ever. Do yourself a favor go to the other location, or better yet find another place. Moby Dick Sushi has the top quality that I have had in the Montgomery County Area.

Keith S.

Yelp
Ordered meals for pickup, I get a text msg saying my order will be ready for pickup during a 10-minute window, so I drive over to the restaurant and then they call me (at the end of the pickup window) to tell me my order has veen cancelled. I wouldn't patronize Red Maple.

Sara Z.

Yelp
So I've never been here for a sit down dinner but I do order take out from them rather frequently. Honestly, the inside is kind of meh and the entrance is weird but once you figure out how to navigate the parking lot entrance, getting takeout orders is a breeze, especially because you can order online. the menu is a little wild and I usually think that "fusion" restaurants like this are not good. This is an exception. I've had some Chinese food and sushi from here and they're both good, but I generally order sushi here. It's consistently good and pretty well priced for the amount and quality of food. I find the rolls and sashimi entrees to be what I almost always order.

Starr D.

Yelp
Giving it 4 stars for good service and good selection behind the bar, but their foods I have to say, it is OK. We ordered sashimi, chicken katsu, soft shell crab, teriyaki tofu and couple other small plates. The soft shell crab was over battered. Chicken katsu was a bit dry. Sashimi was sliced with uneven thickness, but fresh. This is what happens whenever a restaurant is not focused on one type of cuisine rather to carry several on their plates, and just ended up with so-so in all of them :-(

Sara L.

Yelp
We came here for a family lunch that someone else organized. Parking wasn't an issue at all right at noon on a Saturday - park behind the restaurant. The first thing I noticed when walking in was that this place is falling apart. The seats are peeling. It could really use some TLC. I shared four sushi rolls with my husband. They weren't bad but they were all coated in a sickening amount of sauce. If you appreciate special rolls that showcase the fish instead of the sauces, don't get the special rolls here. We got the duck roll appetizer, which just confused us. It was served in a plain tortilla, cut into small pieces. I've gotten duck rolls at several places and have never gotten one like this before. It was odd and not worth trying. My family stuck to the Chinese food and seemed happy enough with that. Our sushi rolls arrived about 15-20 minutes after everyone else got their food. I'm not looking to return anytime soon.

Gloria G.

Yelp
The food is DELICIOUS! It is always on time and you don't have to wait. I've even told several people about this establishment.

Juan Z.

Yelp
Haven't tasted the food even if it was the best food I'd still give it 3 stars. There was only one table dining in. I ordered food Togo. They gave me no utensils and they got my ordered wrong and charged me for it. I ordered fried rice and got white instead.

Denise L.

Yelp
Had lunch today ordered create your plate. Crab legs, lobster tail, fried shrimp and grilled shrimp.... Dry... Side order baked potato very dry and broccoli. Crab was old and over cooked. I returned them asking for another and i Believe she bought back the same small dry crab legs just reheated in Butter. The shells were very oily didn't complain, but was very dissatisfied. I will not visit again and I do not RECOMMEND this place.

Tina B.

Yelp
Hi all, I ordered shrimp pad Thai via Uber. I consumed some shrimp and pad Thai noodles. The next day I became severely ill and was horrible vomiting that required hospitalization. I reported this to the Montgomery health department and they did an inspection that next week. The report came back that the pad Thai noodles were not stored heated or cool and proper temperatures. Rat and rodent feces on surface of kitchen and they cooler is broke. This place is filthy. This was the worst food poising I have ever experienced. I sent a letter to this establishment and no response and when called a woman (I presuming the owners wife) she hung up. Don't eat here, just don't

Lauren B.

Yelp
Love chicken fried rice. Have to ask for fork and spoon to go tho. Always a go to for us.

Leah T.

Yelp
I have come here many times so I'm not sure what's going on recently. I made an online order to be picked up today. When you order online everything is in writing. Somehow my vegetable gyoza was rung up and served as pork, which I do not eat. They said it would be 10 minutes and I would get the corrected item. This was at 5:45. The gyoza order wasn't ready until 6:10 which is crazy for an appetizer item to take nearly half an hour after an error. It wasn't comped and they didn't even apologize when it finally did come out. I got home and noted that they also messed up another item, a california roll without cucumber. I'm deeply dissatisfied with this order and will probably go elsewhere now since I can't trust they will give me what I ordered. There's no excuse for something being rung up differently than it's written in an online order except for just not paying attention.

Sofia B.

Yelp
arrived at about 1 pm on a saturday, and parking was super hard. after about 10 mins, finally found a spot. we entered from the back so it was kinda awk bc we didn't know where to go to be seated. after we were seated we ordered the Flaming Lips sushi, & teriyaki chicken bento box. flaming lips:3.5/5 SUPER HOT, but i'm indian so i thought i was good but i guess not (my other indian friend was fine so maybe i'm just a wuss lol). had a jalapeño in it and chili oil on top so def only get if ur into spice. loved the fried onions but it was so spicy i couldn't taste anything except water bento box:4/5 really enjoyed the chicken, rice, & sushi. miso soup was cool, could've used more flavor& shumai was wondrous. price was ~15 per person which was okay. bathrooms:5/5 v very nicely kept & clean. was v surprised with the bathrooms tbh overall rating:4/5

H B.

Yelp
Decent neighborhood Chinese restaurant. Standard Chinese-American food, good service.

Kyle M.

Yelp
The food was delectable, fresh nigiri, definitely quality fish being used. The service was nothing crazy but was quick and reliable. The place had a cozy warm and safe atmosphere.

Tom T.

Yelp
I'll have to admit that I had pretty low expectations of this place as it's location is a) kinda hard to find, and b) kinda dumpy. That said...bam! This place has good grub. I started with the Lion Head appetizer and was blown away with its delicacy and balance. The sauce, salmon, and crab were in perfect harmony and I was anxious to try other stuff on the menu in future visits. The sashimi deluxe was very nice and a good spread of flavors. The Two Kind Shrimp was stunning. Each time you picked once as a favorite over another you'd switch back after each bite. Really a lovely dish and pretty large helping to boot. I would order this every time if it weren't for the fact that I'm more of a raw fish kinda guy whenever the opportunity presents itself. I strongly encourage you to take this place for a spin. I was really impressed.

Mark C.

Yelp
Update - May 2019 This place does have pretty good lunch special deals. Ordered their spicy salmon and Alaskan roll. Both contained decent amount of raw fish and comes with either your choice of miso soup or salad. I ordered the salad and it came with a delicious yellowish dressing on the side. Decent restaurant. Customer service is good. Worth giving this place a try. There is limited parking due to the location. Therefore, street parking is your next good option. Parking literally behind their restaurant. No front parking. Parking is across from the Mcdonalds. Takes both cash and credit card. This restaurant serves Asian fusion. However, I normally come here for their sushi as there are limited selection of sushi restaurants in this area. We ordered their spicy tuna, salmon with asparagus, eel avocado and philly roll. We enjoyed all the the sushi entrees. However, the salmon with asparagus was my least favorite of the four. That doesn't mean I didn't enjoy it, but there are other several sushi selections to get here. The staff here are very friendly. Just make sure you park in the appropriate lot or else you might get a ticket. This is a good restaurant that should be checked out. They also serve Thai food such as drunken noodle so they do serve tons of variety of food. If you are in the area for sushi and Asian fusion food, this place is worth giving a try. They don't do delivery, but they do take take ouys

Bernadette P.

Yelp
Love their sushi lunch specials! Great value and taste! Their online ordering is so easy to use and very reliable.

Ruth M.

Yelp
I have been meaning to come here for a long time, so yesterday I was there for lunch with a friend that I had seen in person since covid. Handicap space right by the door, nice Asian dark colors Black and Red the food was great. And the Sakitini was good cucumber flavored. Wait Staff was very attentive. I well eat there again.

Yelp
You cannot be prejudice and violate several food health and safety codes. I understand it is Christmas and it gets busy. However, Christmas comes once a year, every year, for years, so why not prepare for such an influx. That is not the reason for the negative review. When I arrived, there were about 20 people waiting or their food orders, and the place looked chaotic. There is a food section for delivery drivers, which was completely empty. The picture attached to this is the table where they put food when the entire order is not completed. One customer had everything in his order ready, on the table, except for a soup that he had to wait another 30 minutes for. Most of the food in the picture was there before I got there, at 620, that was an hour before the picture was taken(as you can see in the timestamp). No way should there be food left, at room temperature that long. It violates several food health and safety codes, and will definitely be reported, after this post. When cooking, you are supposed to have the pieces of an order come out and ready within a short time period of one another. This was not the case here. There was no care in the world by the staff. After waiting an hour, I asked could the worker check on my order. His reply was, "it is busy, so whatever time it says on your order it doesn't matter." I explained to him, I am literally asking the exact question that others, (who happen to be white), asked him right before me. His response to them was "Ill check" to which he proceeded to check. Now, before you all say, I'm "throwing" out this "race card", another gentleman received the same response as me by the entire staff. That other gentleman was Chilean. You could hear the sound of defeat in his voice, when he was trying to explain to his wife that no one was trying to help him with his order. Right as he was explaining this to his wife, another customer comes in, and demands that the same worker, who gave me that response, to check on his food. The worker ran back there and checked for him and told him it would come out in five minutes. In five minutes, his food most certainly came out, and I was still waiting. That man happened to be...you guessed it..white. I spoke politely, and asked the same question as everyone else, but was treated worse than someone who was causing a scene and demanding their order. What is the common denominator? Again, I will definitely reach out to local, state and federal food health and safety agencies right now.

Madhurima D.

Yelp
Became a big fan of their Shumai. Those little soft dumplings were just what I needed on a cold dampy evening. They will be on my every order from now on. Liked their drunken noodles and udon too.

MaryLou B.

Yelp
Shoutout to our local community heroes! We called ahead and we glad to know that there was indoor seating! We were glad to hear that they had a their own parking spaces in the lot behind the building. It's a busy area, so this parking lot is a treasure! The entrance at the back is perfect! The venue is beautiful! Clean! Full bar and sushi station! We had a party of 6 and the venue accommodations were perfect. We came early enough to beat the dinner crowd, so I can't testify to the wait time later in the day. But just call and check on accommodations. The staff is attentive and efficient! The food comes out fairly quick and the sushi is beautiful. The pork Katsu was crunchy and savory! The yummy ginger dressing on the salad is just like I like it! The miso soup is palate cleansing and light. We had hot tea with the choice of green tea or jasmine. For dessert we had mango sticky rice which was delicious. I think the mangoes are sweeter and softer at times, but this was still nice. Not too sweet and a good way to end the meal. Afterwards the parking lot was pretty full. I think some of the other venues share the lot, but the designated spots are valued!!! Have fun marking beautiful memories at this venue! We definitely enjoyed our family gathering!!

Michelle L.

Yelp
I love it here! The food is delicious! It is a little on the expensive side though.

Sandra G.

Yelp
This place has absolutely terrible there food was like almost being disgusting and there customer service was not that good they have more chefs then waiters there breading was horrible

D C.

Yelp
first time coming here, I ordered take out. I ordered the chicken dumplings (fried) and the Thai curry chicken with white rice. The dumplings were good, I think steamed would be better because the chicken was alittle dry inside the fried. The thai curry chicken is... not going to be something I order again, it's not good. I will try other things though I will not completely write them off. The Thai curry chicken lacks flavor, it's quite watery; I like the white rice it came with, it's more flavorful than the Thai curry chicken. I have an ok review because the dumplings were tasty, just dry. But the Thai curry chicken, no thank you! the restaurant has a nice menu so maybe I just ordered wrong for my first visit.

Mark W.

Yelp
My order was a really simple one: Wonton soup & shrimp fried rice. The soup was marginal in flavor however, the rice was the blandest mess I can remember purchasing in decades! Buyer be ware!!‍

Paul S.

Yelp
The food here is very good. The decor is basic. The reason I am posting is because I would like to go back for the food, but I keep thinking about how filthy the mens restroom was. I don't think it has been washed ever. By ever I mean not since it was built. I would guess the mens restroom has not been cleaned in minimum 5 years. The sink had caked on grime a half an inch thick, same with floor and toilet area. Seems like an easy fix but some business owners are lazy, cheap or both. I hope the kitchen isn't this dirty!!! Please do a service to your customers and pay for a deep cleaning of your business. I am gagging thinking about how dirty the restroom was.

Nick S.

Yelp
I'm not here to hate on Red Maple, I've eaten there at least 30 times in the past 10 years. They have good sushi rolls (I especially like the Rock n Roll) and my family likes the fried rice. The problem is in the past few months the food just has no flavor -- and no this isn't a COVID thing, I can currently taste and smell just fine. I've had Mongolian Beef, Dumplings, Pork Katsu, General Tso Chicken and a couple other things, and it's all just ... boring. I'm probably going to keep eating there but if you're looking for something new and exciting then, sadly, I can't currently recommend Red Maple.

Deb G.

Yelp
I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. The sushi was really good (for Americanized sushi in the DC metro area), but the service was not the best. I went with friends who go often, and said it seemed much busier than a typical Thursday night, so perhaps they were just overwhelmed. But we were led to a table where the floor was covered in Goldfish and spilled milk, obviously from the little children we passed on the way out, and had to ask for it to be cleaned up. Then we had to wait for several more minutes just for water, then to order drinks, then to order apps, and so on. The krab rangoon was yummy - a nice amount of cream cheese filling with a very chive-y taste. I do love me some fried foods! We then ordered a bazillion rolls: the Pacific, Rock N Roll, Golden Eel, Rainbow Naturo, Double Dragon, and Oceans 29. All were great! The crowd favorite was the Pacific - I had never had mango in a roll before, much less paired with eel and avocado and piled high with seaweed salad. So good! And I only ordered it because of another Yelper (thanks!). I also really liked the Oceans 29 - bunches of fish with spicy salmon - and the Double Dragon, because who doesn't love shrimp tempura in a roll? I'll definitely come back and hope the service is a little quicker. They were really nice and friendly, just hard to get ahold of.

Yelp
The bento box is very good! Lots of food, with sushi tempura and a good serving of shrimp. The Pad Thai was made well and seasoned well. I was very unhappy about about the Drunken Noodles, more like noodles with spicy garlic sauce which is NOT correct. So do not get this dish, not made the way it was suppose to. In fact, the noodles came so white looking, I asked if it was suppose to be spicy and the waiter said hold on and took it back into the kitchen only yo add more of this canned spicy sauce. NO GOOD. Also, the lobster salad is deceiving because they cake it 80% in batter. Man.. either raise the price or tell us what you're actually plating. This is the reason why I would give it 3 stars because of my mix thoughts on the food. Also, the restaurant smelled weird and it was not heated properly. Unlikely for me to come back here!

Yelp
Absolutely wild to me that this place only has a 3.5 rating. The sashimi and sushi quality at this price point in the DMV is unbeatable. People knocking it down either have poor taste or too high of expectations. The salmon and tuna sashimi are delicious. Fresh everytime -- never misses. Spicy tuna roll is an absolute must. Rock n roll is a fantastic way to mix it up. Their miso soup is hearty in the most delicate way. I stay away from the chinese/thai/asian fusion things they have going on. Tried the calamari once, very good but over priced only for a few, albeit large, pieces. The waitstaff is friendly dine in or take out (I mostly do the latter). This is the go-to Silver Spring sushi spot.

Yelp
Glad I tried this place for their vegan options. Got the sweet&sour chicken which almost eerily resembles chicken. Vegetable lo mein is delicious & also a fan of the spring rolls. Probably my current fav vegan Chinese food in SS

Yelp
Red Maple is truly a hidden gem in my book for sushi and Asian cuisine in Silver Spring!!While I don't live as close anymore, I used to order takeout from Red Maple allll the time. What I love most is the fresh fish + long list creative rolls they make. PLUS, if you're not a sushi fan, they have plenty of other Asian dishes to indulge in.

Yelp
I wanted to try this restaurant because of the great reviews and pictures of the food! However, I wasn't too impressed with my experience. The food, was average, at best; and, the service was sub-par. I ordered the Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. The noodles were cooked perfectly, but the dish itself wasn't spectacular. There are better Thai restaurants to get great Drunken Noodles. My daughter ordered the Shrimp Tempura Roll. She said it was great... Keep in mind, that's coming from a 10-year old. Our waiter didn't ask us how we enjoyed the food, nor did he ask to refill my drink when I was clearly almost done with it. All-in-all, I wasn't impressed, and I don't think I'll visit again.

Yelp
Just okay.... Nothing special about the sushi or the service. The man who helped me pointed to my food instead of placing it in my hand. Also for paying almost $50, I expected to receive chopsticks.

Yelp
Left the gym late wanted something to eat and this place was open. So I thought "sushi?" Why not. Went there with such high expectations. Got a pad Thai American dream roll and valcano roll. Pad Thai is the first thing I tried and literally the reason I grabbed my phone. It actually has a pungent Odor. Food 101...food should never smell bad. I've had pad Thai before. And that was not it. Ate 3 bites of the $9 dollar entree. My sushie was given no care or love. I get they were closing in 20 min but com on. My first time there and my last.

Yelp
This place is located in sort of an odd spot off of Colesville rd so it is easy to drive by, but definitely stop in to give this place a try! I'm glad I did because it has become one of my go to spots in silver spring! For apps, their sexy jalapeño is bomb and comes with a honey wasabi drizzled on top that is *chefs kiss*. For mains, they have great sushi. All of their special rolls are large, delicious, and super filling at a good price point. I've also had their bento box (also huge) and their vegetarian curry. A friend of mine tried their shrimp curry, which we both loved! They do a pretty good job at nailing both their sushi and their wok dishes, so I would honestly recommend this place for both!
