I received a gift certificate a while ago and wanted to give it a try! The food is beyond my expectation. Very nice restaurant with good tasted Mexican style food. I am very pleased with the service and the seating. We sat outside for dinner because it was still light and bright. Good place for friends and family gathering.

I visited this restaurant for my birthday and I must say that it lived up to its reputation. First, the restaurant was beautiful, and the vibes were impeccable. The service that we received was top-notch, and the food was absolutely amazing. They cooked my steak to perfection as I requested, and the appetizers and drinks were very tasty. The drive to Newport beach was well worth it for me.

i went here with my family for brunch, and it was a bit of a disappointment. walking in, the restaurant is beautiful and the ambiance is very elegant, so i had high expectations. however, the food came out very slow, which would have been fine if the place was busy, but there were plenty of open tables. when the food did come out, oof. my brother’s breakfast burrito was extremely soggy, to the point where he took two bites and could not finish it. i ordered the piña agua fresca, and it was literally just pineapple juice. i shared the lime ceviche and chicken caesar salad with my sister, and before we could even take a bite the sharing plate we were given was dirty. and im not talking a spec, this plate was probably just used. the chicken caeser was solid with a good amount of meat, however the ceviche was again, disappointing. it had a negro sauce (which just may not be my cup of tea) that was paired with about 10 limes that was insanely overwhelming. we each took about 3 bites before we were done. when the best part of a mexican restaurant is the chips and the caesar salad, i think this one star is accurate, especially for the high price theyre charging. ive heard good things about their dinner menu, but i will not be returning for brunch. im sticking to the LA taco stand by my house!

Oh WOW. You might already know this spot for upscale Mexican cuisine . . . but if not, think of delicious food with the most gorgeous atmosphere (vibrant decor, glowing lanterns, and an expansive tequila selection right as you walk in). BUT THEY DO BRUNCH, TOO - and it’s seriously worth it. Fair prices, great vibes, and stellar service. It was not busy at all on a Saturday morning, so the word needs to get out about this! We started with bottomless mimosas and sangrias ($25/person!) and kicked things off with their chicken tortilla soup. We then dived into standout dishes like steak & eggs, carne asada fajitas, and steak chilaquiles. But the real star is the French toast, and pairs so perfectly with all the savory dishes. Do NOT skip it! Loved everything about our experience!

What a great experience. As a small company we wanted to do something special for a holiday dinner. We were able to get a table for 12 on a weeknight with more than a month of planning ahead. This was a first dining experience at the Red O for almost all of us, and we were all quite pleased with our meals. As a bonus, we were fortunate to have awesome servers who were very attentive and pleasant. Once I saw the desserts I realized I really needed to write a review. We shared dessert platters and what a great way to end the night. So tasty, and so fun. I definitely plan to come back to try other items on the menu.

Had the pleasure of experiencing Red-O for the first time. The food is super delicious and you can tell the craftsmanship they put into the food. The service however was what made me fall in love with the place. My server Edgar definitely takes cares of his clients and made us feel like it was our casa. Definitely give my man a huge praise !

Google
This upscale restaurant located in NewPort Beach California offers guests amazing, tasty and flavorful food. We ordered a variety of dishes starting with the appetizer Ahi Tuna Tartare, followed by the chilean Seabass, Fired Chicken & French Toast and the Shrimp Enchiladas. The appetizer was packed with tuna, avocado and seaweed. It tasted amazing and was visually appealing to the eye. The Fried Chicken was crunchy, cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The chicken pieces were large, meaty and juicy, which, only enhanced its overall flavor. The best dish by far was the Chilean Seabass. It was extremely flavorful, cooked and seasoned well and was accompanied with roasted vegetables over a bed of rice. I’ve had Seabass at other establishments and this ranks amongst the best. The size of the fish was comparable to what I’ve previously experienced and the flavor profile was definitely on point. Oftentimes, roasted and/or sautéed vegetables tend to be overcooked and loose their flavor. These were cooked just right. Unfortunately, the one dish that completely missed the mark was the shrimp enchiladas. The tortillas were barely warm and the only contents inside the tortillas were small shrimp and nothing else. For an upscale establishment such as this, it was extremely disappointing. We ended the meal with a butter cake which, was shared with the entire table. It was tasty but I’ve had much better. The cake was a bit dry and not as moist as I’m accustomed to. I would be remiss if I didn’t comment on the restaurant’s decor. Without question, it’s probably one of the best and most uniquely designed restaurant I’ve seen as of late. Upon entering your eyes are immediately drawn to a beautifully designed bar that conforms into a simi-circular configuration. The bar’s background has three ark shaped designs which, prominently displays various bottles of alcohols on glass shelves. The color scheme of the entire restaurant is exactly what one would expect from an establishment serving Mexican food. The large light fixtures and sealing fans coupled with what appears to be a translucent/skylight roof allowing for natural light to enter makes for a wonderful open concept. Our server Kendra was great. She was very familiar with the menu and the myriad of dishes offered at the restaurant. She was asked and offered her opinion, which was helpful and very much appreciated. With that said, I would recommend this restaurant. The staff and ambience are great. Other than the mishap with the shrimp enchiladas, the food was delicious and is definitely worth a visit.

Google
Disappointing. Made a reservation but still had to wait 15 min for table. They were busy so I didn’t say anything but then they seated us in this area separate from the main restaurant with a ton of empty tables. One of the reasons we wanted to come here was for the fun ambiance. This “alternative” area was so awkward. We felt like the rejects basically 🤣 The margaritas were disappointing..weird flavor. And the food was mediocre. The tacos were lacking flavor and the ceviche was very very acidic and too spicy. To top it off it’s very expensive. Do not recommend. Only positive was our server was nice.

Yelp
Apparently this is a newer restaurant in the Fashion Island area and I had the opportunity to come for a company dinner. The whole restaurant was dimly lit with mainstream music playing in the background. For a Tuesday night, this place was quite busy with people seated at almost every table. The restaurant itself is huge so to have a lot of people in during dinner must be a good sign. On the menu, they had plenty of drink options. I decided to get the Cocorita only reading the description and was surprised to see it come in a coconut. Excellent presentation, but it really just tastes like a margarita. I assume there was some coconut water in there but didn't taste much of it. At the waiter's recommendation list, I got the lamb rack in dark mole sauce. The sauce was delicious but the rack was cooked a little more than I expected. I did ask for medium but it seemed more like medium well? Couldn't really see because of how dark it was LOL. I would just get it the same way you would order steak. The service was good. Nothing exceptional, but I was in a big group so I can excuse the waiter for letting us enjoy ourselves. Overall, pretty good! Definitely a good place for a group or company dinner. I'd definitely keep this on the list of restaurant options if it's in the budget range because it's on the upscale side.

Yelp
I've had the opportunity to go to this restaurant in two different locations, Fashion Island located in Newport Beach and La Jolla in San Diego. The service has always been great. Their drinks and food are so yummy! Plus the ambiance is perfect for date night. Of course we had to start off the evening with an Espresso Martini. Then we tried: - Slow Braised Duck Taquitos - Sautéed Shrimp Fideos - Pan Seared Chilean Sea Bass - Grilled Rack of Lamb in Mole Negro - Enchilada Trio We also ended with a Cucumber Refresher Margarita (not pictured).

Yelp
5/5 stars! I'm not even going to start with the food (which, btw, was AMAZING as always) because our server, Caroline, completely stole the show! My friends and I visited Red O the other night, and Caroline took care of us from start to finish. From the moment she greeted us with her bright smile, we knew we were in good hands. Caroline's energy was infectious, and her enthusiasm was genuine. She was warm, friendly, and seemed to genuinely care about our experience. When we asked for special requests, she didn't bat an eye and made sure everything was taken care of. Her kindness and hospitality made us feel like we were the only table in the restaurant! Caroline, if you're reading this, THANK YOU for making our night so unforgettable! You're an absolute rockstar, and we can't wait to come back to Red O and request you as our server again! To the management at Red O, you've got a gem on your hands! Caroline is an exceptional server who truly embodies the spirit of excellent customer service. Give her a raise, a promotion, or a big ol' hug - she deserves it!

Yelp
The décor is striking, beautifully done. Went for a work dinner and had a wonderful experience. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and attentive, we were a large party. She was very helpful in helping me select a meal as I have a unique allergy. The chips and salsa were fantastic! The guacamole very fresh and flavorful. I had a taco plate that was both flavorful and filling. We didn't get a chance to order dessert but someone at the table said everything they had was phenomenal!

Aalia S.

Yelp
I went last night and ordered the two taco dinner plate. The carne asada had no flavor at all. Their chicken taco was ok. I was pretty disappointed in the food last night. I'll probably just go back for the margaritas.

Yelp
Ay! Yo! Welcome back to another foodie review with yours truly. This time we have the opportunity to eat at an amazing Mexican restaurant located in the Fashion Island at Newport Beach. The ambiance was so sophisticated but chill at the same time. My waiter JC was the truth! That guy gave all the best recommendations. Which led me to my meal of choice, the Chilean Sea Bass! Good grief that dish was Fiiiiiiii . Great flavor ! Fish was cooked to perfection. It's a must try if you go.

Anisha D.

Yelp
We had friends visiting from Pittsburgh and wanted to have Mexican food. My husband recommend going to Red O as he was there before. We ordered the queso and guacamole. I got a salad and non-alcoholic drink which was pretty decent. The queso was definitely very yummy! I enjoyed the food and it really good. My only reason for giving a 4 was it was too dark inside and I personally felt the service could have been a bit better. It did not feel child friendly and I did not like the crowd. Fashion Island is a hit or miss with the crowd that is there but that was my biggest feel. Apart from that, the food was more so a 4 / 5 too. I probably would reconsider coming back but I do feel it is a really good one time spot to try out!!!!

Yelp
went here to to celebrate our anniversary and I absolutely loved every bit of it from the ambience to the customer service to the food, the drinks and even the dessert everything was a 10/10. The ambience was very romantic, clean , upscale , perfect to celebrate an anniversary. The service was amazing. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us throughout our visit. I definitely would recommend this place and I definitely would go back as the menu has so many delicious plates to choose from.

Jeesoun S.

Yelp
I had Sunday Brunch w friends of mine and hubby to celebrate our anniversary. First time to have Sunday Brunch here and I got dissapointed w very simple menu, neither American nor authentic mexican. I barely chose breakfast tacos, my hubby got chicken enchilada, my friends chose pork belly hash, and open sandwich w poached eggs. The holiday decorations were beautiful, poinsettia flowers are everywhere. However, the menu was not my fave. It was not easy to choose and taste the authentic Mexican cuisines. Unluckily we chose Sunday Brunch, we had to check in the hotel right after lunch. I asked the server to offer anniversary dessert to celebrate our special day at the end of brunch. Thank God!!! I felt little better w dessert. To be honest, I didn't enjoyed the meals this time. Too many people during holiday season, our server was too busy, was hard to ask additional services. 3 things I didn't like about today's brunch, hard to request more salsas, the server was way too busy, not attentive. My friend's porkbelly hash didn't have enough pork belly. She asked the server to cook the new one w more pork belly. Dissapointed!!! The brunch menu doesn't have a great selections. I recommended this restaurant to many people but today, I was not happy for the menu options. Disaster for me. I expected a lot to come again after my b day dinner in Feb. Why don't they have a regular menu offering a variety of foods for brunch, lunch, or dinner?? For my breakfast tacos, I really like regular taco plates, not the breakfast egg tacos. Cons Menu: why not regular menu on Sunday Brunch, lunch? Service: not attentive

Yelp
Honestly I thought this place was super overrated until tonight! Their apps and happy hour menu exceeded all expectations. We were able to sit in the bar area and service was on the slower side because it was super busy, but once we placed our orders, the food came out super quickly and it was delish!!! We shared the empanadas, duck taquitos, Caesar salad with chicken, adobo wings, and got 2 drinks, all for around $100. Such a great deal! The lighting is really dark but the ambiance is nice. We will definitely be back for happy hour!

Yelp
Ambiance: The vibes are just immaculate. No question. Lots of cute places to take pictures. Service was great. Taste test: Everything was tasty and flavorful from the chips and salsa to drinks to entrees.

Ben H.

Yelp
An upscale, Mexican restaurant that delivers on the ambiance but misses the mark on food. They validate parking in the structure also! Shrimp ceviche: Skip One of the key components of ceviche is the punchy and bright notes from the citrus and this dish completely lacked it. It was flat and sad. The shrimp was overcooked and rubbery. Spinach enchilada: Skip The spinach was way over salted. Not sure if they're over compensating because of this vegetarian dish but everything else was also lack luster. Empanadas: Get! This was the saving grace of the night. The meat was juicy, savory, and melted in your mouth. The casing was a little crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The sauce is amazing and completed this with freshness. Food: 5/10 Service: 4/10 Atmosphere: 9/10 Value: 5/10

Yelp
This place is gorgeous! They really take it to the next level for the holidays! Had a company dinner here and they had great appetizers (brussels sprouts and elote corn). Even the chips and salsa was delicious. Great non-alcoholic drink selection too! I got the Peachy Keen and it was yummy - perfect balance of sour and sweet! I got the vegan tacos and they were fried mushrooms ones. So good! The rice and beans were disappointing though. I think the regular refried beans are not vegan so the ones I got were different. Tasted like they were straight out of the can regular pinto beans. No flavor whatsoever. Desserts were amazing! Tres leches cake was very delicious (although not the best I ever had). Carajillo cheesecake came with a fire show which was so cool but then some of it tasted a bit burnt. Really rich and yummy though. The flan was pretty delicious too but not extraordinary.

Yelp
I visited this restaurant years ago and had a wonderful experience with excellent food and service, even though it was very crowded. While it was a bit pricey, the quality made it worth it. Unfortunately, my most recent visit did not live up to those memories. I booked a table for a corporate dinner on a weekday at 5:30 PM. Despite the restaurant not being busy, our service was extremely slow. It became awkward when my guests kept asking if the food would be arriving soon. The wait staff checked on us occasionally, each time assuring us the food would be out shortly, but the delays continued. Eventually, I had to step away from the table to ask about our order. The ambiance was initially fine, with dim lighting adding to the mood, but later the lights became too dim, which was uncomfortable. While the drinks were well made and the food was good, it didn't stand out as great. Given my positive past experience, I had high expectations, but sadly, this visit fell short.

Yelp
WOW talk about an upscale mexican restaurant. The ambiance is absolutely stunning and it was definitely a night to remember. We went here for a private party and it was super intimate dining experience especially for a large group. The service was extremely professional and everyone that helped us throughout the night was extremely kind. The food is really the star of the show. High quality ingredients artfully crafted with delicious seasonings. We ordered the surf and turf to share for two and it was more than enough food. The tomahawk was heavenly and really checked all the boxes: super tender, cooked to perfection, amazing flavor. The lobster tail you can tell was super fresh because it was so plump, it was also perfectly cooked. Every bite was so tasty and such a great experience, if you're planning on splurging on a nice entree I would definitely recommend this one. We also got the dessert sampler and oh my goodness they were so well balanced. Nothing was overwhelmingly sweet. Everything was super moist and the churros were made fresh to order. We would definitely get this again. We really appreciated how the items were great to share for couples. Overall Red O was fantastic and I would definitely come back for a special night out. Everything hit the mark and was SO delicious.

Yelp
A great happy hour, with fresh made salsa that is just spicy enough to be awesome. Guacamole was good, but the highlight was the duck taquitos. Definitely coming back. Our waitress, Stephanie was friendly, helpful and added to a great first experience.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of Fashion Island, this upscale Mexican restaurant is the perfect spot for large gatherings and celebrations. The chips and salsa are irresistibly addictive--consider yourself warned! I opted for the Chilean sea bass and was delighted by its subtle kick. I also sampled the salmon, which was equally delicious, though a bit richer. This place is a must-visit for anyone seeking a vibrant dining experience!

Mia M.

Yelp
The restaurant is beautiful. Upscale Latin vibe. The food and drinks were great. The service was a little slow but other than that everything was good.

Digvijay S.

Yelp
Love the vibe here. The restaurant's outdoor patio provides the perfect setting to enjoy a delicious meal while taking in the coastal ambiance. The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh, high-quality ingredients and bold, flavorful seasonings. I started with the guacamole, which was creamy and flavorful, and followed it up with eggs benedict, which were perfectly cooked and served on warm english muffins. The margaritas were also top-notch, with a refreshing blend of tequila, lime, and orange. The service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was lively and inviting. Definitely a must try and will be back for more.

Yelp
Celebrated my birthday and my friends birthday with the brothers. Caroline was amazing. She made the experience very special and provided us with excellent service. We will definitely come back because the food quality was also exceptional.

Yelp
Had reservations at Red O in Newport Beach on Sunday. We arrived a bit early and were informed the dining room that we requested being seated in had a wedding reception for a couple that actually were married there in the pavilion that day. We were happy for the couple although would have appreciated correspondence denoting that so we could modify our reservation to another day. We were taken to a table that was in a terrible location and opted to dine in the bar area. Claire was our server and she provided superior service. The drinks were very good as my wife had a skinny Margarita and I had Cincoro on a large rock and a mango margarita. The chips were stale and it just wasn't the same as prior visits. I am guessing the kitchen was overwhelmed as well. The food was so so and I am so dissapointed with management's decision to change the menu a while back. I ordered chicken enchiladas which came with two enchiladas and that's it for $30 the rice and beans an additional $10. I am certainly not one to complain about prices yet I would rather eat at Javier's and get a full meal. The menu changed a while back with the deletion of side dishes for instance if you ordered filet mignon and other fine dishes you had a choice of sides number 1, 2 or 3 option. I understand inflation and or shrinkflation has impacted so many but spending approximately $300 for 2 on dinner should equate to something fantastic. We were let down this time. We may give them another try as the staff are all stellar but the menu changes which have been in place for quite some time have negatively impacted our desire to dine here and we have voiced our opinion in the past and staff has tried to accommodate based on offerings. The food quality is stellar and I have no problem paying for quality but this visit left us feeling taken back and uneasy. I give 3.5 stars simply due to staff and efforts.

Shahram M.

Yelp
Great consistent food and service and a great atmosphere. We ordered mostly burritos and fajitas. I had the chicken burrito with the two sauces and it was nice and big and delicious. The red sauce was spicy and the green sauce was a bit sour. The fajitas are in the mid $30s and the burritos are in the mid $20s.

Yelp
This place was so much better than I thought it'd be. Located in Fashion Island, I was expecting small portions and a hefty price tag - but instead, things were so much more reasonable than I thought. There's a valet in front, but you can opt to park yourself. Spots were easy to find. Happy hour is such a great deal here. We got a few apps and for their price points, expected them to be small. However, when they came out - they were big. In fact, most of us were almost full after just eating these apps... My favorite app was the duck taquitos - the server heavily recommended it so I tried it. The sauce underneath was perfect - lots of flavor and a kick of spice. After our table was ready, we ended the happy hour (the prices/menu for this are only available at the bar area and was not available for our table), we sat inside. Our server was friendly and upbeat. I ordered the steak and shrimp fajitas. My only complaint was that it took a while to serve so my steak started more medium (I ordered medium rare) and ended up being well done due to the sitting. Dessert though - those platters are NO JOKE! A HUGE serving of dessert came out and we all happily shared the dishes. I think every dessert was a hit except for the molten lava cake - the ice cream on that was slightly too odd tasting? Or just didn't go together very well and left the lava cake undesired. The decor inside is also really pretty - this place is worth a visit.

Yelp
We came out to Fashion Island after Crystal Cove beach all day. We were wondering what to have for dinner, and I had mentioned I had eaten here before with my family. So we walked around to get here and got seated at the bar area high top table. There's dance music playing in the background, makes me want to shake my booty. Most people were dressed up, but we came casual. Tara waa our server but there waa another gentleman that served us Chips n' salsa right away after we placed our drink order. We got the short ribs enchilada, and Red O chopped salad to share. Everything was delicious in flavor and on point. Servers were great about refilling our water and drinks. And we got a free sparkler cake;for my friend's birthday!! Delicious!! Thanks Red O team for a memorable delicious dinner.

Yelp
Everything here is great! From the food to the decor, to the service, to the mix and match bottomless mimosas, bloodys and sangria. Yes, I am a booze bag. The brunch is great, sit at the bar for better service. Go on Saturday brunch in my opinion. By the the way the spinach and mushroom enchiladas hit. Mushroom tacos! Duck taquitos! The Benedicts! The ambiance is amazing and it goes off!

Yelp
I wish I'd taken photos to capture this unforgettable experience! My sister hosted a private party here, and everything was absolutely stunning. From the open bar and DJ to the beautiful menu, every detail was on point. The staff was fantastic--professional, courteous, and attentive to every need. Special thanks to Lupe and Efren for their outstanding customer service. The performance hosted by the staff added a unique touch that made the night even more memorable. The food was phenomenal--each dish was flavorful, beautifully presented, and perfectly suited to the ambiance, which was truly out of this world. I'll definitely be back for a date night, girls' night, or even to book an event. This is an experience you don't want to miss! Happy Bday FeFe!

Yelp
Had a great experience from start to finish . Our server Alberto was amazing and the whole restaurant team . The GM touched table and asked how is service . Everyone was attentive to us . Made us feel like home . Great a date night

Yelp
Surprised I've ever reviewed Red O as I've been a big fan for years! I've done birthdays here and it's my husband's favorite as well. If you're looking for a vibe this is the spot. My favorite touch is the tequila cart you can order from that they bring around the restaurant. Everything on their menu is great, I usually go for tacos or fajitas. Can't go wrong - great for a date night, celebration or just a night out!

Victoria O.

Yelp
**Family Friendly and they allow strollers** I can't say enough positive things about RED O's they are always kind, accommodating and welcoming to everyone. They have incredible food the portion size and flavor never disappoint. They even have bottomless drinks on the weekend. From the moment you walked in the door Matt checked us in and took us to our table. Our server today was Jose we sat in the atrium which is always our favorite location he was very attentive and was great with our little one. We will definitely be back to RED O's they have earned our Buisness from now on. Javier's is absolute trash in comparison. If you're looking for great ambiance and savory Mexican food look no further!

The services was exceptional, very friendly and understanding. Love the ambiance it's definitely a fun vibe. The food was very tasty just one thing my steak tomahawk was over cooked but the waiter took care us immediately. Other than that every was great. Definitely recommend it.

Yelp
Don't worry about making a reservation, you'll wait 30 minutes anyway. Granted it was a Friday night, but waiting outside with no seating for 30 minutes is unacceptable when you make a reservation in my opinion.

Yelp
Great Mexican restaurant in Newport Fashion Island area. Food, A+ service and ambiance. We went there Sunday November 3rd to celebrate friend's birthday. Everything was perfect, drinks, service and food quality. We will go again

Yelp
Never tried this place before, so my fiancée and i went in blindly. We were not disappointed. The food and drinks were great, and our server was very polite, suggestive, and quick. The ambiance is very nice for a date night or special occasion. We'll definitely be back again.

Yelp
This restaurant kind of confused me, from their menu to the ambience. I'm not sure what cuisine they're going for, but for me, it's definitely Mexican fusion, not authentic Mexican. There were dishes that were Asian and Italian inspired, while the ambience had decors of Moroccan lamps, lanterns, and wallpaper. For a high-end pricey Mexican restaurant, I personally didn't think it was up to par, as quality was not fresh and flavors were hit and miss. We had tuna tartare, ceviche, and beef taquitos to start. Tuna tartare had Korean seaweed salad in it, which I found quite odd. Ceviche had so much cumin spice that it overpowered the fish. Beef taquitos were tasty but overcooked and hard. Salmon entree was cooked perfectly but came with cheesy risotto and asparagus. There was so much cheese mixed in that it made the risotto very heavy. The most Mexican cuisine we had was the steak and shrimp fajita, which was very tasty. Every dish had lots of flavors but just a weird combination that for me, didn't make sense. Flavors were all over the place. Our waiter was fairly nice and attentive. Orders came out at a decent pace. Price is on the more expensive side since it's a high-end restaurant. I personally wouldn't go back here. If you want authentic Mexican food, don't go here. But if you're okay with fusion flavors, this place will work for you.

Yelp
Theatrical. Cinematic. This is how I describe the facility. What you need to know if you come during happy hour time there are limitations: The time after brunch but before dinner is happy hour. We were told we could only sit in the bar area and could seat ourselves. The happy hour menu is very limited. The dinner menu didn't start until 4pm but we got there at 3pm. The other tables in the main area were people that had gotten there for brunch. Food: 5/5: The queso was insanely good - I only didn't like the cheese pull. The flavors of the oregano and chorizo was fire. 4/5: Chicken quesadilla 5/5: Chips and salsa Some of our dishes were dirty so that was a bit of a let down but the service was great. We will come back again for full dinner.

Yelp
We just had a wonderful experience dining at Red O tonight. Food and Drinks were excellent. The Duck Taquitos is a must! We also ordered the Ceviche Negro for appetizers. For the main entrees, we had the Fajitas and 3-Tacos. We also loved our drinks -- Cucumber Refresher and Mango Mojito. What really stands out aside from the food, drinks and ambience is the SERVICE. Our host- Kailee ( not sure if I spelled correctly ) was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave well thought recommendations. The host, server and crew were all very attentive and fast to take action. They were always asking if we needed anything. Excellent Job! We will keep coming back. We will try their Turf and Surf for sure!

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant ! Ambiance is very hip and inviting. We got our table by the fireplace and it was nice! Got a little bit warm but it was fine.we ordered the chicken mole and fajitas for my friend. We also got some CB Oreos and he got a fancy looking drink. Since I do love Mexican food and visit many restaurants felt this one was good however prices are ridiculously high! Mole at $38 is just a joke for me! Plus the mole was more rice than mole. To eat this meal and pay a bit over $100 was not worth it. You're basically paying for the ambiance. I will not return , but it's cute for day night!

Yelp
We have been coming here for about a year, first time I thought to review it. The drinks are delicious and good pours. We always get the same thing, the surf and turf tomahawk dinner. Husband eats the whole tomahawk and I eat the lobster tail. We also share the shrimp ceviche as an appetizer. The waiters are very attentive as well and the ambiance of the restaurant is stunning. Parking is never an issue but they offer valet if desired.

Yelp
So admittedly I assumed Red O would be a bit of a knock of Javier's - which itself is a bit overhyped if you ask me... But I was pleasantly surprised to find that Red O very much has its own personality. The atmosphere is a bit of a vibe, service was great, and the food is delicious. For starters we ordered the taquitos del pollo and the crispy empanada poppers. Both were very good. I'm not a big on very cheesy dishes, so I'll probably avoid the empanada poppers in the future. But still, really good. For mains we had the enchilada trio and the chicken Al pastor tacos and the chorizo fried rice. Everything was so flavorful. But hands down the short rib enchilada and chorizo fried rice stole the show. They were next level delicious. I'll definitely add this to the reservation rotation. Great spot of a date or catching up with friends. Worth a visit.

Yelp
Haven't received our food yet, but the drinks are great. They do have a tequila bar as you can tell by my pics this place has great ambience. It's located near mall so there's plenty of parking. The staff is very nice and friendly.

Yelp
It was great food. Great vibes. Nice bar. The place was lively and music was lould. I would definitely come back for the duck taquitos. The passion fruit butter cake was amazing! I got it to go and it was big enough to share!

Yelp
Arrived for a early dinner time - 5pm. We pretty much had the place to ourselves. The staff was very nice and professional. Lighting is a bit spare (it's dark) so get ready to wip out your phone to read the menu. As for the menu, It's filled with the standard Mexican cuisine we are used to only way more pricey. We all selected the tacos plates. I had the fish tacos while my wife had the chicken tacos. They arrived quickly and came with creamy black beans and rice. It would've been nice to have lime wedges that weren't dried out but I really can't blame the restaurant as limes run this way sometimes. So we paid $120.00 for three - two tacos plates and my daughter ordered pineapple juice, wife ordered a Stella beer. Don't think Red O is the place for a simple taco plate given the $$$ pricing. There's better tacos for much cheaper within a few miles of this restaurant.

Yelp
Red O is such a beautiful spot, especially with its festive holiday decorations. Although they initially messed up our reservation for our large group, they worked hard to make things right. We all had a great time and enjoyed the food. The vegan tacos, in particular, are amazing!

Yelp
Food was amazing, waiters were very friendly and accessible. I recommend this place to anyone on their first or even 10th date. It was overall a great experience!

Yelp
We've always enjoyed our meals at Red O, but our server Isaiah really elevated our experience tonight. He provided just the right amount of conversation, great recommendations, and some fun, foodie insights. He was super friendly, very attentive, and contributed to our overall wonderful experience. This was the first time ordering fajitas for us and they were phenomenal. The caramelized onions in guajillo sauce surprisingly ended up being the star of the show. All of our food was outstanding which is typical of Red O. Thank you for a beautiful night out.

Yelp
My cuzzo has been telling me about this place for a while now. It's his local spot so we came to check it out the other night. When it comes to fine dining, this place really hits the spot with its decor and boujee ambiance. It was a look good, feel good type of vibe. You can basically see all the Clase Azul set up everywhere; a tequila haven. The service was excellent, indeed. Our waiter would always stop by and check on us. Food came out quicker than expected too which was a good thing. We ate sooo much food there, I legit forgot what we ordered, but I can tell you this.... Everything tasted bomb. We ordered the waygu tomahawk combo that also came with a lobster tail, a rack of lamb chops, some fried fish, and tacos. The food is mouthwatering. The seasoning on the meat was perfect and it was also juicy. You can really taste the hispanic flavoring. It was medium rare, not medium alright! We like it bloody, on god! Our bill was no more than $600 and it was worth every penny. Might come back next week with my homies and have them try the food. PEOPLE, if you like fancy quality Hispanic dishes, come thru now!
