Celebrating two birthdays, ended up leaving dissatisfied. We were a party of 8. Service was poor as our server didn’t check in on us at all and hardly had any presence throughout the night. Appetizers were solid, we got chips and salsa, queso fondito, 1/2 dozen of oysters and chilled shrimp ceviche. Wish I could say the same about the entrees. Not only it taking a long time (around 30-35 minutes), multiple dishes came out cold. I believe it was sitting in the hot pass for too long waiting for the rest of the order to come out. After finally getting the server, he offered to have it remade on the fly. Once it came out it was a lot better, I ordered the taco combination with fish, crispy taco and the carne asada. Pretty average nothing spectacular, expected better for the price point. I’ve have much better Mexican food at old town at half the price point. Only highlight was the birthday desserts, which was a tres leche cake that the server asked if we wanted, not making it a surprise, which defeats the purpose of it. I dont know if the mandatory service charge we had for a party made it to where our server didn’t care to put his best efforts, but having a large party, auto grad or not, should be your top priority. Not worth coming back, wish we had a better experience for the two birthday people.Celebrating two birthdays, ended up leaving dissatisfied. We were a party of 8.
