Every Restaurant to Open in Charleston This Winter 2024 | Eater Carolinas

Definitely the place to come on game day to hang with friends and watch the games. 🏈. Didn’t realize that so many people would be here on a Saturday afternoon. The place was hopping with every seat taken outside, inside, and at the bar. Host told us it might be awhile to get a seat since patrons normally stay once they get there. Decided to wait it out and luckily it was probably 10 minutes when a table opened up. As you might expect it was loud with TVs on, and all the people but they do have plenty of staff to accommodate the crowds. Theres a wood fire pizza oven on premises so we each ordered a flatbread. The menu offers starters, salads, sandwiches and plates, as well as dessert. Making use of the wood fire oven they serve wood fired wings, wood fired baby back ribs, and have wood fired Mac - n -cheese as a side. The dishes we saw coming out of the kitchen all looked good. We got the hot honey pepperoni flatbread with mozzarella, cheddar, pepperoni cups and the house made hot honey sauce. It was tasty, messy, but tasty. (Be sure to get plenty of napkins). My husband got the BBQ chicken flatbread which had mozzarella, onion, chicken, and BBQ sauce. His was also good, but we both thought mine was better. Portion was good for one person or shareable with a salad or other item.

We went to a late dinner, service was great. Wings were good, but definitely pricey for $18 (only because the Wings were smaller than expected) and fries were good. Also, got the ribeye sandwich, very flavorful, and Mac and cheese was great... very rich!

Went right about when they opened so wasn’t very lively yet but you can tell the vibes are there still. They also have trivia Thursdays which are not bad. Had their wings and can honestly say it’s the best wings I’ve ever had hands down

We went tonight to try and get a quick bite before an event. We placed our order at 5:50 pm for a flatbread pizza and it just never came. No other people were eating, and at 6:20 pm I heard the margherita flatbread was 86ed. Closed out at 625 pm, paying for the pizza that we never received and walked out. The bartender was the only guy in FOH and I have no complaints with his service.

We ended up here after an accidental click on the wrong place in the Uber app. I’ll start by saying the atmosphere is lively. Probably too loud for my liking, but you aren’t coming here for a nice quiet dinner. The food is amazing. The wood fired wings were some of the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp and grits are fantastic, though I could do without the chunks of tomato. Overall a great mistake. I didn’t remember to get any pics of food.

I usually enjoy coming to Red Palm and visit weekly, but my experience this past Wednesday was disappointing. The female bartender working that night was curt when I ordered, greeting me with “What do you want?” and seemed noticeably friendlier with male customers while overlooking several women at the bar. What concerned me most, however, was witnessing her touch her ear and bite her nail before serving my drink with the same hand. It felt unsanitary and unprofessional, which was very off-putting.

We are from out of town and walked in to a trivia night. The atmosphere was so fun, loud, and energizing from the patrons. We wiped down our own table after the bartender tossed it on our table. Waited 5-10 min to order drinks, which isnt horrible. After we ordered drinks they were delivered 15 min later. That was when we placed our order. We waited for 45 min before asking about our food as it was busy. We waited over 1.5 hours for our food. Our waitress never came back to check on us and when we asked about our food, we were told that there was a back up in the kitchen and she had no idea when the food would be out. Service was awful and I never complain or fill one of these out. This service was awful without anyone apologizing or offering any kind of discount. We should have left but again,we are from out of town and it was already late.

Great atmosphere from hostess to waitstaff, bartenders, and management they made you feel welcome. Summer was our bartender and was very knowledgeable of the drink and food menus. Had shrimp and grits, wings, an a old fashion. 2nd night/day of officially being open.
