Absolutely Phenomenal Experience! My family and I stumbled upon this gem of a restaurant and were blown away by the incredible value and delicious food! We indulged in the divine lobster burrito, along with the fish and rice dish, both of which were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. The portion sizes were generous, and we couldn't believe how affordable everything was! The drinks were refreshing and complemented our meal perfectly. What truly stood out was the exceptional service; the staff was incredibly efficient, friendly, and attentive, making sure our dining experience was nothing short of fantastic. We were in and out in no time, yet never felt rushed. Our $100 bill for a family of four felt like a steal considering the quality of food and service we received. If you're in the mood for authentic Mexican cuisine at unbeatable prices, this is the place to go! I can't recommend it enough. We'll definitely be back for more!

We were out in the area and wanted to try something new. As such, we ended up at Red Pepper taqueria. As I love the Brookhaven Towncenter, I was excited to try out a new restaurant. Walking into Red Pepper taqueria, the location is super spacious and offers an inside and outside seating options. We were immediately greeted by the host and taken to our booth… The menu offers a plethora of options so there is something for everyone. Danny arrived to our table as our waiter was busy in another area. He was super nice and took our drink and appetizer order. I decided on a simple Chips and Salsa for my appetizer. Yes, they are an appetizer as they aren’t free here. The salsa was thick and well flavored. I personally prefer a thick salsa so I was happy with the consistency of it. The flavor profile and spice was spot on as well. I would have preferred it somewhat warm, however, it was still good cold. As we were eating our appetizers Jeremiah came over and introduced himself. Jeremiah was our actual server and he was super nice and hilarious. Shout out to Jeremiah for the superior service. For my meal I decided on the Quesabirria. Tender brisket, queso fresco, red onion, cilantro, and consume. Overall, the dish was good. The meat wasn’t as tender as I am accustomed to, however, it was well seasoned and not tough. The Quesa was perfectly grilled and had the right amount of crisp to crunch ratio. The consume was very well seasoned. It had all the components or perfect consume and increased the pleasure of the quesabirria. This is def a dish I would get again. If you’re in the area and in the mood for Mexican, stop in and get your eat on. I did! LoL!!!

We love coming here for happy hour deals. They have grilled oysters for a great deal, and they’re always very well seasoned and delicious. The tacos are also very tasty and there are lots of options for vegetarians as well.

Well, for me, this dining experience was a bust. First, chips and queso are not complimentary, they cost $5. The food was not hot or flavorful. The margaritas are served from a jam-style preservative jar. The server lost our food, gave it to another customer, the cook had to remake it. We tried the chicken fajitas, and the ingredients for the fajitas were all room temperature, including the rice and beans. However, the grilled vegetables were fantastic! The texture of the chicken indicated it was old, probably pre-cooked for all day service. The quesabirria, (shredded beef) the new item, not a fan. Mushy, too much cheese, and needs seasoning on the beef. Bathrooms could use a light cleaning. And my dining partner feels the restaurant felt “sticky.” The atmosphere is bar style with plenty of TVs. So for a drink and socializing, it might perfect! But for the price, service, and food, I will not return. Adios Red Pepper.

Google
Taco Tuesday! Had their Baja Fish taco and Crispy shrimp. SO had Baja Fish and Al Pastor. Very very tasty!!! Fish was delicious. Nice size, crispy and tasty accompaniment. Shrimp tacos had a different batter all their own. Al Pastor was more of your pulled pork type. Music was very loud. Almost deafening in the ladies restroom. Place did not have a clean feel. But would be back for those tacos!!!

First time visiting this location. The food was good and the drinks were good. The Birra tacos for good and the sauce. The salsa is very hot 🥵

Went here for dinner and we were very pleased. The waiter was really nice and he recommended Dos XXX beer which we had for the first time and was pleasantly surprised we like it. The grill oysters 😋😋😋 and tacos were really amazing. I’m definitely going back and I’d recommend coming here. Nice chill vibes.

Everything was delicious! The portions were so big, me and my friends ate from each other plate! Janette was so much help and kind. She made the experience 10x better! Will definitely come back

Yelp
The food alright not the best but oyster were really good but over priced. The drinks are pretty decent price $7 margaritas Server very attentive but food takes minute to come out the kitchen. Definitely more of a sport bar restaurant vibe then a sit down "quiet" establishment

Yelp
Suggested this place for lunch lunch with a friend of mine in an effort to get out of Buckhead for a change. Did not know red pepper was on Piedmont. The sign is still there, but my friend was told that it no longer exists. Anyway, we had a lovely server today on Monday with a beautiful welcoming smile and lovely dimples. I did not catch her name. She was attentive, thorough, and suggestive. I had the skinny margarita which is made fresh. My first skinny margarita ever and it was actually delicious. My tacos were hot fresh tasting and filling. The energy of the restaurant was light. We were early. We beat the lunch rush. it was a great place to grab a quick lunch. I definitely will be back. My only dislike was the table was sticky. It appeared to be wiped down, but I think something used to be on the table or something was removed and it left the table filling a bit sticky. That was weird to me.

Yelp
One of my friends and I used to frequent another Red Pepper location a few years back on Friday nights after work. It was an easy classic! Upon coming across this more convenient location for me, I've been several times and have had all good experiences. The service has always been kind and friendly to me. The ambiance is fun especially when out with friends. The food is not the greatest I've ever had but it definitely gets the job done! I really enjoy this place.

Yelp
Well, let me start by saying I just had to do a review!!! They were a little short staffed however the host came and got our drink orders and talk to us a little bit while our server came. Our server came and went over a lot of the menu items with us before getting into our actual order. I feel that because we had waited a little bit of time. He actually took his time with us and I really appreciate that. One thing about me is I am a stickler for a good chicken quesadilla and when I tell you that these peppers and onions were perfectly seasoned and sautéed my mouth is watering now just thinking about it all over again. A lot of times places have quesadillas where it's extremely cheesy and not enough peppers or not enough chicken, but this was saturated with a lot of peppers and a lot of chicken and I appreciate it so much . The calamari was fried perfectly and usually I don't like to do larger calamari because it's undercooked and slimy but this right here was like it was handcrafted from God himself. The place was very clean even down to the bathrooms and we greatly appreciate a great clean bathroom. This was definitely an amazing experience DC and I will for sure be back. I did find that there is one closer to my residence so I'm going to try there. Hopefully the service is just the same quality as the one in town Brookhaven. Stay tuned.

Yelp
I took my family here for lunch and it was pretty good. The food portions were great and the waitress was nice. The prices fit the area. $80 for three meals including the tip. The ambience was cute and very festive for the theme of the restaurant! This restaurant gets 4 stars because of limited parking. Great atmosphere! I recommend!

Yelp
Stopped in for Sunday brunch this weekend. I had low expectations going in, but I was really very pleasantly surprised at the overall experience. We had a reservation, but there was no need. Plenty of seating and plenty of parking. We had the option to order from the regular menu or the brunch menu, and I'm not normally a brunch person, but I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. I ordered the Americano and it was absolutely delicious. I am still thinking about those lemon ricotta pancakes. My eggs were cooked to order without being overcooked. It was a lot of food, but we sat there so long I eventually ended up eating it all. Another good point, we were there for a long time and never felt rushed. Staff was super friendly. I had margaritas as I find bottomless mimosas to generally be all OJ. This was true at RPT. My companion ordered the bottomless and had to ask for a Prosecco top off. So if you aren't a big drinker, you might be happy with the mimosas. Prices were fair. For around $50 I had a meal and two margaritas. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
I almost walked out of this place right when I got in because of the state of the bathrooms. Clearly they hadn't been tended to any time in the recent past. Service was mediocre, at best. I never had one waiter - it seemed like a tag team effort - and the place wasn't even that busy. The food was decent. I had the Mexican burger. It wasn't anything I'd come back for and the fries on the side were way over cooked. I waited for the check for quite a while, probably cause nobody really had me as a table. My plates taken away and it took at least 20 min to get the check. I'll not be coming back.

Yelp
Red Pepper is a pretty great spot to go to for lunch and/or dinner. (From my understanding now, I think they also offer a brunch menu as well.) I have been to this location a few times, as well as a few others. They have pretty decent food and a great drink menu. They have so many different type of margaritas as well as a full bar, so you can definitely find something you enjoy drinking. The service can be a hit or miss depending on where you go, so it isn't exactly consistent across all locations. They have a bunch of TVs, so you can always find the latest sports game on. It almost functions as a restaurant meets sports bar, so just keep that in mind. I do frequent Red Pepper a lot, so I do recommend giving it a try!

Robin L.

Yelp
The service was amazing! I ordered something that I absolutely did not like (it just wasn't for me), and my server - Daesha, made sure that I found something that I really liked instead. She was extremely helpful with all of our questions as well. She provided top notch service and I look forward to visiting this location again.

Lee K.

Yelp
I ordered from here through Uber eats and added on chicken and shrimp to my quesadilla which was an additional $12 to just add that on. I also added a crème brûlée because the picture depicted this was a nice portion of this. They somehow marked my order as non refundable, I wonder why!? Because they knew they didn't give me everything I paid for. This place scammed me and I don't care about the dollar amount, I care about the principle of an operating business that has multiple locations. Give people what they pay for and don't mark it as non refundable as if y'all triple checked my food!!! Also, if you've ever had a crème brûlée, think about the portion size and cut the very tip off, that's what was given to me. I provided pictures for reference. Although the food tasted good, I will not tell a lie, i still will never spend my money with a business that scams people out of their money.

Tobi O.

Yelp
My strawberry margarita and the chips + salsa were the best parts of the meal. That salsa was perfectly salted and had the slightest kick. For my entree, I ordered a trio of tacos with rice and beans. The Mexican rice was seasoned well, but I didn't enjoy the tacos. I chose 2 carne asada tacos and 1 calamari taco. The calamari taco was more slaw "topping" than the actual seafood. The calamari also was doused in a kinda heavy sauce that was overly sweet to me. The carne asada tacos - the meat itself was okay and there's a solid amount of steak in each one but I would have preferred the pieces to be chopped a bit smaller. Corn Tortillas can be kinda fragile when there's a bunch in the taco and it started ripping quickly while trying to eat. I asked for a side of queso to add extra flavor to the taco and removed some of the slaw (there was a lot). I haven't been to a Red Pepper location in a couple of years, but I'm pretty sure I enjoyed my meal the last time. It was a different location, probably the same menu. I'm hoping that the time of the evening is to blame for the meal not being up to par. Our server was nice and friendly, so no problem with her! It might be a while until I try Red Pepper again, even another location, but maybe next time I'll try brunch.

Chloe M.

Yelp
Drove about 20 min from south Atlanta to come to this location and walked in to one server who was also the hostess. He seated us immediately, and knowing the menu already we asked to put in an order of mussels just to be told they didn't have any. Disappointed, we looked further into the menu to then order the Nachos with chicken and he confirmed with us that we wanted everything on them. After placing our order, he came back out with waters and to inform us that they couldn't make the nachos, as they were out of queso. It was at this point my family and I took that as a sign to take our business elsewhere. Seems like this location is slowly turning into the same downfall as the red pepper on Piedmont. Very disappointing for Red Pepper, as they are the one restaurant I travel out my way to eat at!

Heather W.

Yelp
Open until midnight? Apparently not if they don't have enough customers. We went in just after 9p on a Monday only to be told they closed the kitchen early since they were slow. How do you stay in business like that? There were a few people at the bar eating. If you say you are open then be open.

Allison C.

Yelp
I hate to give places such a low rating but I really didn't enjoy my experience at Red Pepper Taqueria. To start off, it was really hot inside. I'm not sure if the AC was broken or what. My friends and I were sweating and I could tell that even the waiter was sweating through his shirt. The food was okay. My friends and I decided to try this place out for Sunday Brunch. My Salmon Benedict was a little dry but it seemed like some of my friends relatively enjoyed their meals. Two of them ordered the bottomless mimosas which I believe was $20; they said they really liked the different flavors of mimosas. Service was a little poor. We were the only table so early in the morning but the waiter came by maybe every 15-20 min. We also got charged with a 20% gratuity for having 8+ guests when we only had 6. I'm not sure what that was about. Sadly, I probably won't be returning.

Danielle C.

Yelp
"I recently visited Red Pepper Taqueria and had the pleasure of being served by Daesha. She was absolutely fantastic! Daesha was attentive throughout our meal, offering great recommendations that made our dining experience even better. Her warm personality and genuine joy in her work truly stood out, making our visit memorable. She made our day, and we'll definitely be back, hoping to be served by her again!"

Renee P.

Yelp
Enjoyed the fajita combo, steak nachos and the margarita . Everything was tasty and the service was fast.

Yelp
Stopped in for brunch this past week and had a great time. Food and service were excellent. We sat with Denise and ate at the bar. Had a blast.

Yelp
Mark, the bartender, is the best service you will get ever. I am over impressed everytime he serves me. We need to get this man a raise.

Laz S.

Yelp
Our good friend took us here last night for quick drinks. We decided to order some of their margaritas which though they weren't super bad, for their prices they wasn't all that either. We ordered the Chips & Salsa, Guacamole, and the Queso dip as appetizers. The Guacamole was missing something in its flavors, the Salsa tasted sweet which it's not typical, the Queso dip wasn't bad but it wasn't the best I've ever had. We ordered a Steak quesadilla, which wasn't bad but I was not impressed with it and it was cut on literally three individual slices only. By the way they put too much peppers inside of it. We ordered the churros as dessert, they have to be the worst churros I've ever had and it was supposed to come with a "Chocolate" sauce but that wasn't it. I must say it looked more like maybe caramel sauce as it didn't taste anything like Chocolate. The booth table where we sat was sticky, like things would just stick to it which was kind of weird. We were not sure if they allow people to smoke inside or not but there was a huge strong marihuana smell inside that carried everywhere. Our waitress was nice and attentive, the food came out really fast so I must say that was nice. Needless to say, we will not be back for sure.

Janelle P.

Yelp
This is your standard non-Latino-neighborhood spot. You'll pay $5 for chips and salsa, no guac. The tacos are good - I recommend the Kale me Crazy and and Al pastor. The bartending is hit or miss on service. All to say this place is not my first choice when I'm looking for a chill Mexican spot. You'll pay more. It's in a shopping complex. Blah.

Erin S.

Yelp
I ate at Red Pepper Taqueria with two friends in early September. The service was good, food was average, but the value was very disappointing. When I asked for the check the server brought over a hand held device to swipe my credit card. I requested a copy of the receipt for the $140 check. it seemed high to me and I noticed they charged a credit card processing fee (which was never mentioned or I would have paid cash) And a $3 charge for a small portion of salsa that I requested to put on their very dry enchiladas. We each had one margarita, requesting a premium tequila (not super premium) and they charged $15 each for about 4 ounces of liquid (drink was all ice). I'm sick of hidden charges at restaurants that are already making high margin on mediocre products and will not go back.

Lauren R.

Yelp
It's definitely one of my fav go to casual restaurants in Dunwoody or Buckhead. I come to brunch here often because of the mimosa pitcher specials. They have weekly specials, too. $2 taco Tuesdays or Monday $10 fajitas or half off oysters and plenty other specials. Half off apps from 4-6 too. It's an easy yes. Service is attentive and drinks are good. Kids are welcome too.

Frankye J.

Yelp
This is my second time coming. Not a fan of this location near Costco. The quesadilla was very chunky...and the cilantro rice was very chewy. They offered Spanish rice instead and I tore that up lol! Didn't get any silverware until the middle of my meal. My daughter enjoyed the bottomless mimosas and her soup. I tasted it but it tasted like something was missing like avocados (that's how I typically enjoy mine). But our waiter was friendly. Red Pepper near Perimeter is better for me.

Nellie F.

Yelp
A friend and I were looking for a place to just catch up, zone out and just have a great time on a Saturday afternoon. We really wanted some tequila, good chips and salsa. Well, when we first came in they had yet to open so we walked around a bit and came back. We were the first customers for the day and learned of the SUPER affordable bottomless mimosas from open to 4PM... we had about 4 hours? Do drink as many mimosas as possible?! That was a compromise and challenge we were more than happy to accept. The mimosas were indeed tasty and we were able to sample different flavors and the bartender hooked us up! We were in there almost 6 hours to when the afternoon crowd came in. The atmosphere was very "live" with animated people just out having a good time in their respective groups. The chips and salsa/guac were pretty good quality as well. A good time is what we set out to have, and a good time is indeed what we had.

Stephanie G.

Yelp
I was utterly surprised how delicious my meal was at Red Pepper. It's been awhile since I've been to Red Pepper (my first time at this location). Parking could get crazy here on the weekends so just beware. We were seated right away once we got in. Our server was super nice and efficient. I ordered cup of chicken tortilla soup, which I thought was delicious and a pretty hefty serving and 2 kale me hungry tacos (but I subbed tortillas for lettuce). Both were delicious! The vibe was cool too. They have lots of TVs where we enjoyed watching some Olympic events. Would come back here for sure!

Mike P.

Yelp
Good food great service from Alvaro H we had shrimp, tacos, beef, burrito, and Cerveza

Lakeshea T.

Yelp
Drinks were a little watered down but the tacos were great. Waitress was awesome Cory was spot on and very attentive.

Micaela R.

Yelp
Yummy! Expect a lengthy wait. This place is for locals or just a quick bite to eat with good conversation with the girls or a cute bite to eat on a basic date type of vibe. We saw a lot of dates and some friendly conversations. Manager came out and checked on us with was nice.

Yelp
Two words: HAPPY. HOUR. Red Pepper Taqueria (RPT) is the place to be at on the weekdays from 4-6pm if you want to score half off appetizers! Mussels Diablo: $7 Raw Oysters ($6/dozen; 2 orders max per person) Crispy Calamari: $6 Tuna Crudo: $5.5 Chips + Queso: $4 Chips + Salsa: $3 Skinny Margaritas: $5 White Sangria: $5 Drinks are good. The Mussels are a must-try! Oysters are good. Calamari is a safe and tasty choice. Tuna Crudo was okay, but nothing special. Service: Hit or miss. The two times I've dined here, the first experience was exceptionally slow. However, the last time was pretty good! 4-stars for the happy hour deals. You get a good amount of food for the price. If it weren't for the half off apps, I'd give RPT 3 stars.

Aj G.

Yelp
Tried this place on a whim because we were craving nachos and it was late. The regular nachos were so fresh and delicious! They were some of the best I've ever had. The real star for me was the tortilla chips -- thick and crunchy -- the kind of chips that can stand up to lots of toppings without getting soggy or disintegrating. Perfect. The guacamole and queso were so, so good and the corn pico and cilantro gave a freshness that really made the nachos memorable. The salsa was thick and spicy and the smokiness reminded me of my favorite vegetarian chili. The steak burrito was also good. We thought the prices were very reasonable for all that we received. We will definitely be regulars here!

Katura B.

Yelp
Visited Red Pepper for happy hour on a Monday. I've only visited their brunch on Sunday which is a VIBE so we decided to check out their Happy Hour Special! 1/2 off apps, $6 for a dozen oysters & $1 Tecate's. We were seated immediately and ordered a dozen oyster's, queso, calamari and the Tecate! The queso and calamari came out first and were both delicious! When the oysters came, they were served on a half melted ice tray, it was practically lightly iced water.. that was a bit weird. The Oysters were ok, I wish they'd provided a bit more horse radish with the dish and the vinaigrette they offered taste a like water. I probably wouldn't order them again, based on how they were served and the quality. Other than that, I'd definitely come back for their happy hour options. They have different specials Mon - Frid 4-6pm!

Cheriece T.

Yelp
Alvero was great!! He's was so kind and followed up with us during our visit. Thank you so much Alvero, and god bless you

Philip M.

Yelp
My friend and I dined here on Thursday for the happy hour specials plus I ordered a takeout dinner for my husband. This is the location in Brookhaven near Costco. My friend and I ordered a dozen of the raw oysters, an order of the calamari, an order of the tuna crudo, an order of the dessert churros, beers, plus a takeout combo they call "el duo" which included two chicken tacos, rice and beans. We dined on the covered patio that had partially opened windows plus patio heaters. Tables were spaced out and the dining area was clean. Our server was friendly and efficient the duration of our visit. The food exceeded my expectations and was an especially great value for happy hour. All of the food was fresh and delicious and all of the various sauces that accompanied our various dishes were creative and delicious. Total bill before tip was $50.69. A great value for all of the food. We recommend this place!!

Robert M.

Yelp
What a horrible experience. Arrived just before 9pm, no one was at the hostess stand to seat anyone. Three different parties waiting to be seated, most of the restaurant was empty. But all the staff was gathered at the end of the bar - with the bartenders acting like fools behind the bar - dancing about. Finally someone came to seat us and it went down hill from there. Once seated - our server came over and handed us menus, said he would bring water back and disappeared. 10 minutes later be returned with water took our drink order and app order. 5 minutes later chips/salsa/queso - no drinks. And he disappears again to hang at the bar. We the two bartenders with pig tail braids are still dancing around, not working and socializing with anyone and everyone at the bar. 20 minutes later, our server decides to check on us - still no drinks, bar tenders are both chatting up two guys and not making any drinks. Said "let me refill your water and check on those drinks". You could see the girls dancing around and not working. I asked for the check and left. Don't recommend, this place has really gone down hill over the past 6 months. Go to Pure or Verde - where they actually take care of their customers

Brett F.

Yelp
Foods generally okay, but add 15-20 minutes for your take out order. Every time I order take out I end up waiting well after the recommended time it says

Jessica L.

Yelp
Friendly service good food and vibes. Nice place for happy hour or just grabbing drinks and dips with a friend.

Yelp
Horrible customer service. Food was not good either. Forgot most of our order and wasn't willing to do anything. Do not recommend.

Michelle D.

Yelp
I hadn't been here for years when I followed a friend from a meeting for lunch, so pulling up I smiled at the memories of colleagues and good food. Thankfully, they are still rock solid. 2 tacos meal and a house margarita hit the spot and since the sun had just popped it's head out, the server opened the patio and we enjoyed the rays with our meal. Portions for the price were well worth it and I'll return if I find myself in the area.

Yelp
I had such an amazing time at Red Pepper brookhaven! I went on a thursday right around 4 pm while the happy hour started. Theres ample parking and they have an indoor closed off patio as well as a huge indoor with ample of seats as well as TVs playing all the sports games! Our server Monee was so nice and got to us super fast. On thursdays Skinny margaritas are only $5 and theyre strongg! Not only do they have great skinny marg deal but every week day from 4-6 they have happy hour food deals. I got calamari which was yummy and it had fried jalapeños with it as well as 24 oysters. I was sooo shocked to see that they sell 12 oysters for only $6. not gonna lie i was a little nervous bc it seemed too good to be true but they were very big sized. Tasty and i felt completely fine day after haha so on that note best deal of my life, great drinks, and great service i will absolutely be back

Yelp
My girls and I decided to go for some drinks after a few hours of studying and we came across this gem in Brookhaven! Since we were just cruising by we decided to order some chips and guac and a few drinks. For the guacamole you are able to order a "spicy level," we decided to play it safe and get medium. Everything was delicious and refreshing and the service was amazing! Definitely making this a go-to spot for quick drinks and appetizers. Surprisingly we didn't have a wait on a Friday night which was great!

Yelp
They put a bleach solution in the dispenser for hand soap in the bathroom. Ruined my shirt and then wouldn't do ANYTHING about it. Never going back.

Yelp
Wasn't very good. Food was cold and drinks weren't good. Location was good which is great. Service was amazing though.

Yelp
The portions were absolutely worth the price! We did not have a long wait and my friend who ordered the house margarita said it was STRONG. The mixto salad I had was delicious and the service was great. Parking in this plaza is a little tricky sometimes but we found parking in the back of the building to the left. We spent less than 2 hours there. Definitely a great atmosphere, lots of TVs playing various sports. They have happy hour specials but we missed the timeframe for it. Can't wait to go back!

Yelp
This place is a casual sports bar type of vibe. The food is ok and the service is ok. There's not much to else to it. A good spot to watch sports though. The atmosphere is fun.

Yelp
Fun brunch option! $15 bottomless mimosas + good food options makes for a fun day. Enjoyed brunch on the patio with access to the TVs for game days. I enjoyed the avocado toast with lox - it was huge. Everyone enjoyed their food as well. Mimosas had every flavor you can think of - mango, pineapple, guava, traditional, and blood orange. We had an attentive server. Parked behind the restaurant l.
