Google
As usual, this is my go-to spot! I definitely consider myself a regular, when I find a chill place, I tend to stick with it. Vincent is hands down the best bartender in the area, and the fact that he’s been here for over three years says a lot. I personally hate loving a place only to see a new bartender every month. He’s attentive, offers great recommendations based on what you like, and always goes the extra mile to make you feel welcomed. That’s an A+ in my book. Atmosphere is important, but having familiar staff truly makes it easier to become a loyal customer. As for the food, I have zero complaints. I stick to my favorites, the calamari, fried lobster, shrimp nachos, and taco trio, and they never disappoint. Keep up the great work, Red Pepper–Dunwoody!

Google
The food and service is amazing. Sophie G. made great recommendations, was very friendly, and gave us great service with a smile. Thank you, Sophie G., thank you Red Pepper, and please give my compliments to the chef.

Google
This review is strictly for the fried lobster and let me tell you, it’s absolutely delicious! The lobster is fried to crispy, golden perfection, perfectly seasoned, and always fresh. The fries are great too hot, crispy, and the perfect pairing. The price is super reasonable, making it the perfect little snack or quick lunch when you’re shopping at Perimeter Mall. I don’t usually get anything else here because the fried lobster alone keeps me coming back. Definitely worth checking out! 🦞🍟🔥

Google
The chargrilled oysters and elote will not disappoint! I also recommend the crème brûlée and skinny margarita. The music and service were also exceptional . Can't wait for another date night here! Thank you Stephon for your excellent customer service.

Google
KAYLA ! is such a great bartender today i got some lemon drops when i tell you 100/10. I’m a picky person and I have no problem with complaining but i never have to here. The food is always great happy hour is the best and Kayla has top tier service and top tier bartending skills!! I will be back on Tuesday For three dollar tacos !!

Google
Chrisiah was amazing. I literally just came in to place a to go order and she was friendly, extremely accommodating and took my order and got everything to me quickly and the food was great as always. She offered me a tasty margarita while I waited! This was my first time at this particular location but I definitely be back.

David V.

Google
So the Biria tacos are worth it. Sat at the bar and was served right away, no hassle. Food didn't take long at all and it was a really good portion size. Definitely worth checking them out to have a couple of tacos and a drink or two.

Google
Went here with my family. Was not impressed and would not go back. The only thing we enjoyed were the nachos and the frozen mangonada. We ordered the carne ranchera and the meat tasted like it was boiled. We also ordered the cheeseburger and the meat was pink inside. The server took a very long time to take our order in the first place. After the food was taken to our table, the server did not go back to check on us. We had to get the ketchup bottle from a different table and also get our own silverware. The tip was already included (we were a party of 5) so makes sense the server did not go check on us.

Yelp
This place is a modern Mexican-American restaurant serving typical street food. I came in opting for tacos. I ended up ordering the carne asada and Baja fish tacos with a side of beans and rice for $15. Let's start with the good: I thought the tacos themselves were delicious, and the use of high-quality ingredients definitely stood out. The fish taco was well-fried with a crispy exterior, and the purple cabbage added a nice crunch. The carne asada tacos were well-seasoned and flavorful. Now, onto the more mediocre aspects. Paying $15 for just two tacos is steep--especially when I can get authentic tacos down the street for $3 each. The service was just okay. When I needed something, it felt like I had to wait a while before being helped. It didn't seem like there were enough servers for the number of guests. Lastly, it took about 20 minutes for our food to come out, which felt like a long wait given that the restaurant wasn't busy.

Yelp
So this is kind of like a neighborhood bar situation. It's very close to where I have my stomping grounds at, so I've been there quite a few times. Depending on what day you go. It's a different experience but overall it's still pretty good. I will say that the day to go if you're hungry will be on a Tuesday because the Taco Tuesday special is pretty good. But just about everyday has something! Queso and chips - Now the queso they have. I probably wouldn't get again. Water down and runny so it's not like it's thick and cheesy and creamy when you dip the chip in. Charbroiled oysters - The oysters were more like Rockefeller oysters versus just having Char-Broiled oysters as if you were in New Orleans. Don't get me wrong, they were good. And for the price that you're paying for them at the happy hour, they are pretty solid! So I will say I would go back for these. Steak taco - the steak taco was pretty good. Squeeze a little bit of lime on there and it was a good Taco. Small but just enough. And for the Tuesday price, you can beat that. Chicken taco - The chicken taco is the same as the steak Taco above, really good price though. For the most part for this area. This Taco was a little bit more dry, but not to where you couldn't enjoy it. Again, squeeze a little bit of lime on there just to get an extra pop, and it's all good. Garlic parmesan wings - so the wings were actually pretty good. They came out hot and fresh from what it seemed like and they had a lot of meat on them. And the sauce was actually really good. Calamari - The calamar was pretty good. Only thing with the katamari is I feel like they put more peppers in there than they did actual calamari. Or at least it was too many peppers given how much calamari they gave. But flavor wise it was pretty good though. Dip trio - not sure if it's called that but at the same time, it's a basket of chips and then you get to try the salsa and the queso and the guacamole. You're going to run out of chips before you run out of dip most likely though, so that's not a bad problem to have! I'll probably still keep going to this spot. It's in a reasonable area, free parking, and overall the specials are really really good.

Yelp
I came here with a friend and really enjoyed the ambiance of this place! There's a good size parking lot outside with indoor and outdoor seating. We got seated pretty quickly on a Saturday night and ordered our meals quickly. I like that the menu was limited which made it easy to pick out my meal. I went with the burrito grande which was a fried buritto with chicken, beans, rice and veggies with three different sauces on top. We got our food pretty quickly and overall I liked the burrito! It didn't leave me feeling too full and liked how everything was well seasoned and liked the texture of the fried buritto which complemented the inside of it. Our server was super nice and can't wait to come back and try some of the tacos next time!

Yelp
It took a minute for someone to come to my table (this was around noon/one on a Monday) and there weren't many ppl in there. Wasn't a fan of the service at all. The happy hour deals were pretty good to me, but I didn't enjoy the oysters and the RPT happy hour wings, in which I ordered the honey hot flavor. They tasted like that chicken taste with a thin layer of honey on the wings and MAYBE ONE crushed pepper flake....just ONE though........they were terrible. I wouldn't even take them home and put them in the air fryer, no ma'am. The Monday Happy Hour Oysters I didn't enjoy, I ordered them chargrilled. I love chargrilled oysters! I tried to like them bc the price you can't beat, however I just really didn't enjoy the oysters from here. The RPT happy hour fries were okay, just a little too much of the queso for me. Let's get into what my stars are actually for and what I even came here for to begin with. I'm sorry it's not pictured bc I got it to go but the Quesabirria is all that! It's a birria quesadilla and I love it, I ordered it before so I decided to come in and get it but then I ran into these happy hour deals and I still wind up getting it to go LOL I'd come back during a different time and try some of the other items.

Yelp
Haven't been to Red Pepper in years!!! I will say the environment is still the same, relaxing and family oriented! The food seems to have improve, there's more flavors than I remember. The servers and staff are attentive, didn't expect that to change.

Yelp
I've been here a few times. Not to this exact location but it wasn't my first time. The food never really left a mark on me until today. I love tacos so I can be hard to please. Suggestions: Get the fish taco on a crunch shell and ask for a little more crema on the side for your rice and beans. Skip the carne asada taco I sat at the bar and the service was great and fast! They were playing multiple sporting events on the televisions so I can definitely see this being somewhere to enjoy a game. This is a casual place no need for your fancy pants but they do have a beautiful patio with a fire pit that could make it a cute little date night.
google avatar

Kiah R.

Yelp
Service was EXTREMLEY SLOW after being seated here however, they had the music jamming so it was a nice distraction to realize the service got slow. The food comes out fast but the overall service was slow. The food was decent, they have plenty of TVs if you would like to watch sports. There is also a pretty nice patio Parking is free, the location is a little difficult to get to depending on which way you come from because you may have to do a u-turn into a street that is pretty busy.
google avatar

Crystal H.

Yelp
Pretty empty on a Monday afternoon. Plenty of TVs for game days. Takes a moment to get service once sat but once greeted she was great! I enjoyed the chicken quesadilla and my raspberry mojito. I was told the wings were also good.

Erwin L.

Yelp
Wonderful staff, food and especially the the bartender. VINCE!! A destination place for sure!!
google avatar

Alex H.

Yelp
This was my first time at this location and it was good as the playlist was fire lol. I really appreciate Darius as he had great customer service. He made sure we were good regularly and was very friendly, without being overbearing. I ordered the taco trio and a strawberry Hennessy margarita. I enjoyed both the Baja fish and carne asada tacos. The birria taco was good, but the meat could've been more seasoned. The drink was strong like I like it and was good. I really enjoyed my visit here.
google avatar

Briana S.

Yelp
This is a great spot to get some Mexican food. I've been here twice and both times I thought it was great. I love the music and the vibes. Servers are always really nice. Their food is phenomenal as well. I didn't get any pics unfortunately, but trust me when I say it's good!
google avatar

Cassandra G.

Yelp
Waited 10 minutes and server didn't even come by to take a drink order. Saw two men that walked in after us a few minutes later get drinks ordered and delivered and still no one at our table. They don't deserve customers if this is how they are serving when it's lunch time and the restaurant isn't even a 1/4 full. Disappointed as the restaurant is new and clean but service was not a good experience.
google avatar

Yelp
This place is amazing. We came here after Snooze told us that it would be a 50 minute wait to enjoy their brunch. I said nope and went across the street and best decision ever. The portions are TEXAS BIG. I am not even joking. It is a good deal. And they have a bottomless mimosas. Gigi, our server, was attentive and constantly at the right place at the right time. I would come back for the service and then the food. It is amazing. They were playing the Weekend and Beyoncé and it was a total vibe. We had steak and eggs, sugary grits (not a fan), avocado toast, pancakes, and the sides were so huge. The French Toast was only $5 and look at how big they are! I definitely think this was a good investment. I only paid about $40, $30-$50.

Yelp
Sat at the bar with Stephanie and she took good care of me. I got the Oyster happy hour special and some drinks. I will definitely be back.

Yelp
I had never been here, until a homegirl invited me for her birthday dinner. The service, atmosphere, food and drinks were on point. Personally, i found the price point a little on the high end.

Yelp
Alvaro was such an awesome server and took very good care of us during their happy hour! 10/10 I highly recommend

Yelp
This place has all these stars??? Why? Shrimp tacos (fried) over fried and dry. Sweet sauce on the shrimp tacos it was just not good. Got the Cadillac drink $17 for a strong but small drink that just didn't wow for the price. Friend got A steak salad that looked nice. The best part of the experience was the ambiance (young music selection and decor) and the great wait staff. No pictures on this trip.

Pink F.

Yelp
We decided to go here for a birthday celebration. There were 6 of us. They have a 20% tip charge on parties of 6. Our waitress was terrible. Had to ask for silverware and ask for water refills. Got order wrong. Frankly did not care about us since she was guaranteed a 20% tip. If you go there with a large group break the check up or you are going to get screwed.
google avatar

Leah K.

Yelp
Tied with superica for my favorite salad in Atlanta. Red pepper service is hit or miss at most locations (esp Brookhaven one), but we were quite pleased with service and atmosphere at the new dunwoody location. It's a great place to grab a casual bite and watch sports. I love this fiesta salad with balsamic while my husband enjoys it with the ranch. Other favs here: burger, crispy chicken sandwich, burrito. I also love their grilled veggies
google avatar

Yelp
Went here with a co-worker to kill time. Great atmosphere inside and out. We sat outside. I had a few drinks (Tito's Rita and Perfect Peach) off the margarita menu. The Tito's was good. The Peach was okay. We did end up ordering food. We did chips, queso, guacamole and salsa. All was good. I got the fajita bowl and my co-worker got the quesadilla. I added chicken to the fajita bowl which is veggie. The chicken pieces were big, I needed to used a knife. Also, the chicken was a little dry, but overall it was good. No complaints on the quesadilla. Would go back because It was a nice place to hangout. Also, the staff was really nice.
google avatar

Yelp
This restaurant is very beautiful. The establishment is welcoming and cleanliness is top ten. I visited on a Friday afternoon and it was the best for no crowds . My friends and I ordered the lunch special of the barbacoa , shrimp and salmon tacos . My favorite were the frozen watermelon margaritas . I wish chips and salsa was included but overall not a bad deal .
google avatar

Yelp
Came during playoffs! Heat vs. Celtics game and it was a good turn out. The place was spacious and nicely decorated. Televisions everywhere and music was playing. I am not sure if there was a shortage of staff but when we got there, some of the tables were not clean. How can you say, we can sit ourselves anywhere but the tables were dirty? We did place our order and it came out quick! The nachos were huge w. Everything on it. I only wanted nachos and a drink since I had a long week! The server was training someone new but they could of brought napkins, ask for to go boxes or at least remove the dishes to clear room so we can enjoy the game. They were busy on the phone. And I'm like if you want to be on the phone at least check on your customers! Good Food but they can do better on the service.
google avatar

Ashley T.

Yelp
Came here for dinner with a friend and we truly had a wonderful experience. For a Saturday night I was expecting it to be crowded, especially with the restaurant being right in front of a hotel but it was pretty quiet and there was a guy playing singing his little heart out with his band. When we made our way inside, the guy at the host stand was friendly and welcomed us right in. We were seated as soon as we walked in and from the time we walked in the door to the time we left, the service was absolutely outstanding. Our waitress, Jennifer, was super sweet and took such good care of us. I ordered queso as a starter and it was delicious! I decided to order a few tacos and got the blackened salmon and the pescado frito. The blackened salmon taco had a decent sized piece of salmon that was seasoned well and came with slaw and theirs sweet chile like sauce that just add goodness to the taco. The pescado frito came with a crispy piece of tilapia, slaw, corn, and radish. I'm not that big a fan of radishes but it really wasn't that bad along with the corn, fish and the sauce that came with it. Everything was super tasty and was hot and fresh.

Yelp
Two words...Happyyyyy Hour! Everyday is a different happy hour special $14 Chargrilled oysters..$8 skinny margaritas..half off wine on Wednesdays and of course $3 tacos on Tuesday! The chargrilled oysters are packed with flavor topped with spinach, shaved prosciutto w/Ciabatta toast. Chicken taquitos are my personal fav!
google avatar

Yelp
It was Taco Tuesdays on V-Day & my Daughter brought me here. We sat in the bar area & had an awesome time being served by Sierra, who stopped by often to check in & chat it up with us. An added bonus of she & I share the same Aries Day. Our simple order came out hot & quickly - Nachos Ole with Shrimp, Veggie Tacos with Sangrias & Strawberry Margaritas...a few rounds over. Eli, the manager made his rounds & stopped by to make sure we were taken care of. Such great customer service from the entire staff - down to the pleasant food runners. Although Sierra was on double duty as the Bartender/Server, she really made us feel welcomed & didn't skip a beat with her timely service. There's plenty of seating in the bar & dining areas. Two patios are connected via internal doors - the enclosed patio adjacent to the bar & an outdoor patio with a fire pit & communal couch seating. Looking forward to coming back.
google avatar

Yelp
The customer service was good and I enjoy the happy hour oysters. The queso was wack and the wings were decent. The drinks were okay not anything to brag about. I would return and try something different but the quesabirria did nothing for me. Especially for the price it tasted bland and the rice was blah.
google avatar

Porsha H.

Yelp
Nice spot to grab a meal! We ordered the dip trip with salsa, guacamole, and queso. It was what you would expect it to be. I also ordered a strawberry margarita and the fajita shrimp. I like appreciated the way they did their platter. It comes with rice, guacamole, pico de gallo, black beans, and sour cream. The sour cream is extremely skimpy. It is a think line one top of the beans, which was a bit disappointing. Other than that, the meal was good and very filling. The service was cool. If I was in the area I would go back.
google avatar

Talon S.

Yelp
If you're looking for a quick lively environment with drinks and good food, Red Pepper is a nice choice. The music is very loud so if you're trying to have engaging conversation, you need to be close or shout. The food was hot and very good. They had a $5 margarita special as well that we took advantage of. Now don't be deceived, it's served in a mason jar but a small one. The picture make it look big but they are not. Also the side of beans are not whole beans, they're refried. Unfortunately service wasn't the best, but I do give grace because he told us it was his first day on the floor.

Stephanie N.

Yelp
Great restaurant! I had the shrimp tostada and my husband had the burrito. Both were excellent. Darius did an amazing job! He is very attentive and kind.
google avatar

Kisha M.

Yelp
Decided to meet here for brunch after such a good experience at the Brookhaven location a couple of weeks ago. Immediate I noted how much nicer this location is- newer, brighter, more seating, etc. Unfortunately that's where the comparison ends. The food at this location was meh. I ordered the exact same thing, the Americano breakfast. The pancakes were dry and heavy, the bacon was chewy, and my over hard eggs were cooked over medium. My friend ordered chicken and waffles and her order came out...with no chicken. By the time her chicken arrived her waffle was gone. Service was good. Food was not. Next time I'd go back to Brookhaven.
google avatar

Micah B.

Yelp
Not a fan of the service. Went to a birthday dinner with a big group, but they took too long to bring out our orders- drinks included. Can give a break for not having food runners but we felt neglected for service of any kind. My order was [over-priced] chips and queso with beef and jalapeños... pretty much got a bowl of cheese. Overall bad experience..

Summer S.

Yelp
Our server sophie was amazing! Great attitude and very attentive. The food was amazing and the ambience of the place is unmatched!
google avatar

Lauren J.

Yelp
I was nervous coming in because the reviews were so poor however I was pleasantly surprised. Service was not bad, a bit slower than I was used to but it didn't negatively impact my experience at all. What I ordered (in order of deliciousness): Corn soup- absolutely my fav. I ordered a cup and the portion size was bigger than expected. Fresh with a bit of spice and real chunks of corn, I would come back just for this. Fried lobster tail- lightly battered, seasoned well (but a bit salty) served with a yummy sauce and lemon to squeeze over. Tacos- all delicious Oysters- didn't come with crackers but I loved the spicy vignette. Could probably be cleaned better, let's hope I don't have food poisoning later lol but they were tasty.

Yelp
We wanted to give this place a try, since we've never been to a Red Pepper Taqueria. Parking was kind of a challenge to find close to the restaurant, but there are a lot more spaces available if you choose to park past the Corner Bakery. Apparently the hotel that shares the parking lot takes a huge share of the lot. This is a nice looking restaurant, with an outside patio. When we walked in, it looked a whole lot more like a sports bar, with a whole lot of the TV monitors tuned to sports channels. We were immediately greeted and shown to a table. The restaurant was at about 30% capacity. We scanned the QR code that was at the table, and viewed all of our food options. We were extremely hungry, and waited for our server. At about the two minute no one had come by our table yet, and we wondered if this was an indication of poor service that we weren't going to accept. At the third minute, I was already looking in Yelp for other food options. A server came by at the 5 minute mark, but I just told him that we were leaving. Take care of your customers from the time you seat them! Otherwise, don't seat them! I'm not accepting poor service for any reason. There are so many other restaurant options that provide better service.

Sheva S.

Yelp
Unfortunately, I can't speak to the food or drinks yet. However, I wanted to thank the guy that came outside to provide my son and I water and lemonade because my car's computer completely shutdown in the driveway entrance of their restaurant. It was very thoughtful so I can imagine the customer service being great. As soon as I'm in the area again, I'm going to try them out.
google avatar

Shen M.

Yelp
It's a beautiful location... when they are extremely busy it's hard to get great customer service ... but I've been to this location multiple times during slow hours and the food is amazing ! They have added some new things to the menu and it's great. My waiters this week were two guys can't remember their name but they were awesome and well versed on the drinks and food. They could answer any question I had. The cheese dip with jalapeños is amazing ! The salmon taco is officially my fav taco and the street corn. The margaritas are sooo good
google avatar

Brionna R.

Yelp
The restaurant was nice and the food was pretty good. The rating of 3/5 comes due to service, our server was quite dismissive and did not come back to our table at all after the food was delivered. We did not have plastic ware and she barely brought out our drinks. We could see her across the restaurant laughing and more interested in entertaining her coworkers than assisting her tables. The restaurant wasn't busy at all but both of her tables went without beverages, utensils and napkins and we eventually were able to flag her down but I don't think you should have to especially if you're not busy.

Yelp
The bar tender DJ was friendly and recommended the Dozen Oysters for $9.99 and it was a hit. They were so good I wanted to get another dozen like he told me too. The mussels were flavorful and had a lil kick to them with the sauce. I ordered 3 tacos also. Shrimp, Salmon and Beef tacos just to mix it up a little. Had a couple shots and two beers. They had many games on the tvs on a Wednesday night. Parking is convenient as it is next to a hotel and they have plenty of parking. TV's everywhere If yo go back try to get Bar tender DJ as he was quick getting drinks out and always check on the patrons at the bar. ThenNight Manager was helpful in getting tv's on games that I wanted to watch as well.. Big shout out to Red Pepper. Thanks

Ami D.

Yelp
Don't do it. There are so many other places that want your business. Our experience mirrors so many others. Poor service, waited 15 minutes for a server, the staff partaking in shift drinks in plain view of guests, while one server was serving half the restaurant by herself. Food was mediocre at best. If you're wondering why you're more than half empty on a Sunday afternoon...it's you and your staff. No thank you.

Yelp
Staff except the hostess were really rude, we got our table and waited more than 10 minutes looking at the menus. Nobody came to see if we ordered or gave us water. All the servers were doing TikTok videos and laughing like they were at a party. We got the hostess attention and he was surprised nobody came to check on us, we asked for the manager, then when the manager came to the table, it was one of the girls doing TikTok videos with the girls. At this point we were ready to go. She kept trying to persuade us to stay and get us one of her good servers, but at this point "we were done". We left and went to their competition half a block away to Eclipse Di Luna and had a fabulous time with amazing Tapas, free cocktails and dessert while enjoying the great live music.

Yelp
I love this new location in Dunwoody. I've been here at least 4 times since it's opened. I love their happy hour from 4-6 pm. I love the patio and bar patio. I had a girlfriend who had a birthday party here on the patio. It was a perfect space for an intimate gathering. The customer service here is great. Everyone is very nice, managers, wait staff and bartenders. When I come here, we love to order the Texas margaritas, chargrilled oysters and shrimp nachos.

Yelp
Vincent is a great bartender. He is very attentive. He is making you another drink before you even have time to order one. He ensures that you have your condiments, silverware and extra fixing well before your food arrives. He is an all round good guy.

Yelp
I was bored and Red Pepper look rather exciting to me from the roadway! I swung in and sat at the bar. I also met some awesome people at the bar and had some great food. I must admit customer service was so good. The only minor glitch was the host that hand me the menu and he said with a frown " you can't get happy hour prices if you gonna order and leave"! I know that already son!! But again the food was good!

Yelp
This spot did have 5 stars. The manager or employee just turned the TVs off and they don't close until midnight. It was 11:25. What a way to welcome business.....smh. Ambience is nice. I like this one better than Buckhead. Feels more upscale. Stephanie was my bartender and makes awesome margaritas. She was very nice and professional.

Yelp
Just left Red Pepper and it was fantastic. Our server, Ethan was amazing. He was polite and went above and beyond. The Happy Hour is worth every penny and then some. The tacos are delicious! I think we ate far too much. My favorite drink is the Sneaky Link and it does not disappoint. You can't wrong with this location. Loved everything about it. Will be regulars now that the sun is shining and its warmer. Look for me on the patio on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Yelp
Everyone was nice, but the food is incredibly inauthentic. I ordered enchiladas with mole and got some bland chicken in tortillas with tomato sauce. They were the worst enchiladas I've ever had. The drinks were good but I would pass on the food.

Yelp
First time customer, I did a take out order and it was terrible. There was a strong smell of cologne on the takeout boxes... which is gross. I ordered tacos and Mexican rice. I tried the rice first and it literally tasted like dirt. I threw the rest of the food in the trash.

Yelp
We were on our way to another restaurant but my mom spotted Red Pepper Taqueria and suggested we pull up and try them out. We were quickly seated and fortunately we came at time where they weren't very busy. The restaurant was clean, nicely decorated and the music was great! I wish the chips & salsa had been free but it wasn't so I decided to order it. My mom heard me order the chicken quesadilla and decided to order the same thing. Our food came out within 10 minutes after we ordered it! It was good except that the onions and bell peppers were VERY large and chunky. It would have tasted much better if they had been cut into smaller pieces. They had $5 margaritas!!! We had a great time and will most likely come back!
