"I note that Matty O’Reilly is the restaurateur behind Red River Kitchen and that he is again expanding his small-eatery empire with the new Spring Cafe project." - Joy Summers

Had a question if I got the right order due to the small order of food we got, unfortunately the chef came out to our table, with our child present, and it was a very unprofessional interaction. FOH is great, but this is overpriced food service.

The new chef at Braemar / Red River Kitchen is fantastic. The food is much improved from in the past. Seems like there's actual care and attention infused into food options, now; especially for catered events! Excited to see what else is to come! Not sure about the most recent review regarding being "overpriced" for a recent event - seems like great pricing, especially for Edina!

Visited for first time today and had a burger and fries and it was delicious. Have gluten free buns available too which was nice. Staff was very welcoming and service was prompt. Sat out in the covered patio overlooking the lawn bowling and course. Will go back soon to try more menu items.

Excellent, considerate, speedy service. Exceptional, tasty food. Spacious dining room with large windows and multiple views of the course and nature. Large outdoor deck area with both covered and open seating areas.

In the middle of a golf course serving diner fare without attitude and a fresh selection of everything. The turkey burger hit the spot. The outdoor seating is in a rather bucolic setting. I can't believe I used the word "bucolic". Enjoy!

Sadly, Red River Kitchen has really gone downhill this year. Used to be a great place for food and beverages for several years. Food is terrible - hamburgers are flat and tasteless, chicken nuggets are mostly crunchy deep fried batter with little chicken (used to have great chicken strips), Kid’s meal grilled cheese wasn’t even melted. Staff is not informed - Kid’s meal includes fountain beverage, but they charge for it unless you catch it and tell them not to. They’ve also messed up several orders through out the summer. I kept hoping it would be better this year and kept coming back, but no improvement. I will not be going back.

We decided to head over to Braemar for dinner. We had heard it was very good. My husband had a burger. It was the flatest thing you've ever seen. Black and dry. Terrible. I had the Whiskey onion roast beef sandwich. So tough. We wanted to try the cocktails. We both had gin and tonics. Very little ice and a lime you could barely see. Overall not a good experience. VERY EXPENSIVE. Sadly, we won't be back.

We did the Thanksgiving take-home meal. It was incredibly delicious and the portions were very generous. Everyone at our Thanksgiving dinner said they would be going to Red River because the food was so good!
