I mean this is my new burger and fries spot, love the place. The food is fresh and good. Was disappointed that they only take cash. Other than that the food was served quickly and it was kind of tasty. For the location, this is the best burger and fries spot in town.

The line inside moved quick, our food came out hot, and the woman at the counter was nice enough to provide my kids with change for the claw machine. Food was great!!

Great place been coming here since I was a child and now im here with my family at 40. It’s a great place to eat sit and enjoy

I've been coming here for years. Burgers and shakes are good, but not like years ago. The shakes taste like a mix, not fresh ice cream, and the burgers used to be handmade, now from frozen Patty's Great for the kids.

Small burgers in what looks like supermarket brand buns, they just put the meat and cheese, no tomatoes, no lettuce, nothing else. For the price they charge it should be a proper burger. I was very disappointed. Cashier had an attitude, like she did not want to serve us. I will not be coming back to this place. I’m better off in one of the burger chains.

What a great place to stop with the kids! Old fashion slice-of-Americana burger joint with kiddie rides, miniature golf, capsule toy vending machines and space for the kids to run around. Food is reasonably priced, good quality, not loaded with sodium and tasty. Lots of soft serve choices and friendly staff! Don’t miss the red rooster if you’re driving through Brewster. A happy family place!

Love the old time drive-in vibes theme (this is NOT a drive in). A mini.. mini-golf area, lots of room for the kids to run and they’ve added benches so what was great years ago has only gotten better. We stopped in for ice cream. Don’t be afraid to make your own concoction. They’re very accommodating. We added soft serve to an egg cream shake! Whether it be for a burger, fries or ice cream, this is definitely a great pit stop for old and young alike.

This place is a cute retro burger joint. They do serve chicken, wraps, soft serve ice cream and more. They are a welcoming environment for all and a great place to bring kids. Everything is clean & prepared well. The cheeseburger is in the style of a backyard cookout and the onion rings are the best I've had in a long time. My suggestion is to offer a smaller portion of onion & fries for less money. The small is really too big for one person. Other than that I definitely recommend the place.

We've been coming here for a long time as a relaxed summer dinner option! A bit pricey for serving sizes and some food choices better than others. We like the chicken sandwiches and fries. Or the chicken wraps. The burgers are hit or miss for us. Ice cream is always a good choice ordering area is and always has been a little cramped. Great summer stop with mini golf next door! Small kiddie rides that may or may not be working (quarters needed!). We loved to bring our dog with us! Off of a busy road. Eating area is generally well kept, except maybe on the busiest days.

Very good and tasty food. Cant wait to come again. Staff was nice and we did get best burgers in state. Ambiance was excelent.

You'll find the typical diner quality here. The ambience is retro. They only take cash, which I don't recall seeing a sign that said so. The cashier was friendly. The chili cheese fries were decent, though I wasn't a big fan of the flavor of the chili. The double cheeseburger deluxe was good. I would stop here vs going to the Burger King across the street, if I were passing by.

From the outside, it looks like a fun establishment, inside it's an old school diner feel but food was just mediocre. The staff wasn't the most friendly or helpful when ordering, they were more busy chatting amongst themselves. Also the photos on the menu are a bit deceiving and you need to make sure to add the extras pictured because they don't come with the order.

Over priced and YESSS I would like to be paid in CA$H as well.! I don't get the novelty!

The burgers are very good they have fresh shakes made to order and ice cream. The fries were ok very old school vibes has a little playground for the kids. It's a little pricey though and cash only.

This place has been here for decades! A little slice of Americana! Gets busy sometimes, but never disappoints!

The burger is very well seasoned and has a lot of flavor, we also really like the chilli cheese dogs! Well organized service and an authentic American diner feel makes for a great day out - plus mini golf too.

Heard good things about the place. Food is good, but just good. But $30 for a double cheeseburger and small fry for just "good" food is insane. To add to that, it took over 10 minutes to get it, there were 5 people in there. I also got the pleasant surprise of them telling me it's cash only. LOWER THE PRICES! And maybe invest in a card reader or two. It's 2025. Absolutely insane

A few months ago my family went to red rooster, we've been going there for over 30 years. I'm sad to say that is the last time I will ever step foot in that restaurant. We ordered over $100 worth of food and drinks. We got half of our food and, had to go up to the counter to ask for the other half, we were ignored and then finally after about 20 minutes we were able to let somebody know that we did not get the other half of our food or our drinks. The manager went over to the server who completed the rest of our food order and brought it to us and told us that she was finishing up our drinks. The drinks never came. My Husband asked the girl , if we could get our complete order, the manager started screaming at My Husband and threatening to break his finger and shove it up his @$$. Then he was rude to me and I responded to his verbal abuse and he came out from the counter and chased me down and threatened me and told me to get off his property and he was calling the cops on me. We still had not received the drinks from our order and this was going on for over 40 minutes and to top it all off the food was disgusting, the hotdogs were literally raw and the burgers are half the size they used to be. This place was much better when it was just a little tiny burger and ice cream shack I'll give it a -5 star rating and will never be back.

Wonderful atmosphere, a classic drive in. A great Fourth of July weekend restaurant and activity.

Food is awful and overpriced. French fries are cold and unseasoned. Salads are over dressed and inedible. Ice cream is not as good as it used to be. See other reviews about burgers. Did I mention overpriced? On top of that, check your receipt! There's one woman who will over charge you on top of the already over charged food. Having a cash business is great, however when you focus more on the cash you're making rather than the quality of food you put out and the customer service that should go along with it, you become that place with all the negative comments.

The food was sub par. My hamburger was probably a low quality frozen patty with not much taste and my husband's grilled chicken was bland. The service was to be desired. The only up side was the fries were decent. I get it that food is expensive these days but to pay over $30 for subpar food is ridiculous. Plus it's cash only...

We love the fried chicken here and if you want a good old hamburger and hot dog stand this is the right place. The big knock against this place is the staff. Very unpleasant and zero customer service. It almost has turned us off from coming back.

This gold place is great for kids and families! The staff is great and friendly. It's also great to gold and then go for a bite to eat after.

Unfortunately we didn't get anything. We ordered and then she told us they don't take CC. I highly suggest you put on the doors that it's cash only. My husband and I walked in through separate entrances and it isn't noted anywhere!! Have 1 star, since had to in order to post review. Sadly driving back home now.

Foods ok they don't take cards and don't tell you till you get to the counter​ either no sign ... I had questions with the order. Found them to be gruff and abrasive Made The experience unpleasant not a great way treat costumers.

Well, I made the mistake of going here a second time thinking that perhaps the first time was just a one-off. The hamburger patty was still frozen in a spot, the onion rings and milkshake was decent but by the time you spend a $2.50 surcharge at the ATM for cash you will be at $25... soooo not worth it! Honestly I would have enjoyed my meal better at Burger King or McDonald's... I remember going here years ago and it being a really nice experience those days are gone and now I'm just hoping I don't get sick from the burger.

This place was so disappointing the burgers were small and the price is expensive not so much expensive it's just not worth the money for the small size burger they give and after ordering a burger, cheese fries ( yuk), a double cheeseburger, onion rings, and a soda (2ppl)- $23 later I'm hungry !! how do I leave a restaurant order two meals pay $23 and leave hungry super super disappointing ! And let's not forget cash only who carries cash today??? SMH ! Next time I'll just keep driving past this place for sure for sure!!

Food: Burger was a thin, greasy piece of beef with a slice of cheese on a bun. You can definitely get better even at McDonald's or at your aunt's backyard BBQ this summer. For the price you'd think you'd get lettuce, tomato, pickles.. they didn't even put ketchup on it. You have to order fries separately, and it seems like we got the bottom of their bunch. They were all crumbs. Terrible. Previously we ordered a milkshake which was amazing. Seems like this whole restaurant is only worth their ice cream. Service: No greeting or instructions given. This was our first time there and so we didn't notice the signs indicating where to order. The staff continued with their routine and ignored the line of people waiting in line to order. The three of them gathered together opposite from us. A simple "please step over here to order" would've been helpful. The only way we realized that we were on the wrong side is because a man walked in after us and went straight to the register. He was attended to before the rest of us in line since he went to the right spot. That annoyed me a little. After we made our order, there was no "thank you" or direction given to where we should wait for our order or how long it would take. Ambiance: Lots of seating and I imagine outdoors would be nice. No one is cleaning tables after customers leave so some tables had crumbs and trash. I feel if you have experience coming, you learn the ropes and know what to do. But for a first timer, it's a very depressing experience and the food is not worth the experience.

I always love anything I order here, Food is amazing! Here I love crispy chicken wraps and waffle fries never disappointed.. Price fantastic, customer service, fast and friendly.. One lady not so friendly maybe not the best person for front counter service. However, my family loves the food and so do I.. CASH ONLY

I really enjoy coming here. I think it is more for the nostalgia that keeps me coming back. Oh and the owner or at least I think he is the owner is super friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure your order is always done correctly. Last time we went they messed up but it's ok it happens and I know the food is worth going back for. The shakes are amazing and the burgers remind me of the old school drive in joints I went to as a kid. If you love chili and cheese fries then this is your place! They are some of the best I have had I just wish they served crinkle fries lol. The chili is really good a tad salty, but overall it's good!

The food I had when I was there with my lovely wife was delicious, the service of workers were very kind, welcoming and warm hearted. The mini golf is especially fun as well, just a reminder it's cash only. I've always enjoyed this place, I travel 45 minutes to go here monthly with my wife. Thank you Red Rooster

Such a cool throwback with very relevant updates. Burgers, fries, onion rings and shakes were like crack. I couldn't get enough and couldn't stop eating. I left five pounds heavier. Service was friendly and although the line looked long (even on a Sunday at 3pm), it moved quicker than expected. The signature slopes roof is a great design choice. The mini golf looks like fun, but we didn't try it. Feel free to customize your burger. Additional toppings were not expensive

I am a quantity over quality kind of guy; but not sure that I got either of these things here. The ingredients seemed fresh; but didn't even get pickled with the burger. I do give it points for the local home-y feel of the place though. I would come here if I lived in the area out of solidarity for local businesses; but from a totally objective standpoint, I would probably stop by the McDonald's down the road much more often.

This was my first time at Red Rooster. I came with a group who all viewed it highly and it did NOT disappoint. Atmosphere was classic, employees were fantastic and helpful and the food was fantastic. Fry portions were also enough to share which was great
