The menu reads like a roll call of every New Orleans staple: po' boys stuffed to the gills, seafood that practically swims onto your plate, pralines so sweet they’ll make your teeth sing, and sandwiches that do the Muffuletta tradition proud. Ordering here is a breeze—no fuss, no muss, just pure efficiency with a side of Southern charm. There’s a window for shouting your desires into and another where those desires come to life, handed over in styrofoam and paper, steaming hot or blissfully cold. And if you can grab the lone picnic table out front, do it. It's the best seat in the house for soaking up the local color, watching the life of the neighborhood unfold as you dig in. I’m giving them a three only because the mac an cheese an potato salad was spoiled on my fish plate . I think they need to keep a check on their food temps . Other than that the fish was real good . We had nachos slamming, hot sausage on french very good just heavy on the mayo so be mindful of that ask for lite mayo , next time we gone try the snow balls . Good find for us 👍🏿

I am not from NOLA and it was my first time at Red Rooster. The service was great, southern hospitality at its finest. I ordered a bit of everything. I ordered Two snowballs Mardi Gras and Strawberry with condensed milk. They were both delicious and they came with a large top. I also ordered Fried fish that was seasoned to perfection, fried well, and it was juicy with a nice crunch. As I only ordered the fish it came with a Hawaiian roll. Best combination hands down. Double cheese burger combo fully dressed With a side of French fries. The burger was seasoned well and the toppings were perfectly topped, tossed on not sloppily. Presentation was everything. Lastly, I ordered the shrimp yetcamein the broth was seasoned well and the shrimp was cooked perfectly, not over cooked. The noodles were a little too much for the small soup I had. It over powered the dish and if I could get it with less noodles next time that would be all that I would change. I highly recommend giving Red Rooster a try. You will most certainly get your monies worth.

Food was great! I ordered a sno ball and once my husband tasted it he had to get one. Only con for my husband (not me) is that the wings were really crispy and seasoned like I love. We will be eating here again soon!

The food was good, I ordered an Oyster Po-boy and French fries, and fries were limp and wet. Window service was horrible at order and pickup windows. Don't think I'll be back anytime soon

I really liked the snowballs...I'll definitely be back to try the food....I was rushing but I want that yaki mein!!!!

Some guy grabbed my snowball from the window. He claimed that he ordered the same thing I did. I complained to the lady making the snowballs that a man took my snowball and got into his car. Her facial expression told me that she was angry with me. 🤷‍♀️ Why? I'm not about to lose my life over a snowball. Just make me another one. She did, but it wasn't made with love. This matter may seem small to others, but not me. I still gave 5 stars for the business. They didn't have anything to do with what the guy did. But the lady was a little nasty towards me afterward. Don't work with the public ma'am if you don't have the right spirit.

Red Beans and rice are out of this world. It seems to have some shredded pork in it. $8 bucks with 3 wings. BTW, The wings were PERFECT! #fire
