Where To Eat & Drink In Paso Robles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Your options for casual breakfast in Paso are a bit limited. But sometimes, a wine hangover requires eggs and bacon immediately and Red Scooter is here for you. This order-at-the-counter deli right on the main square has fantastic sandwiches across the board, but you need to concentrate on the breakfast section, particularly, the bacon avocado brioche sandwich. Crispy bacon, fresh avocado, and a fantastic brioche bun join forces to give you exactly what you and your stomach need before and after a long day of wine tasting." - brant cox

We were excited to try this deli knowing there are gluten free options (tortillas, bread and bagels) and good reviews. Service was great and moved quickly during the order process. We were disappointed with the simplicity of the food. The sourdough breakfast sandwich was lackluster. The gluten free burrito was missing flavor and freshness.

We stayed in town for a week in late March for a wedding and found this gem. Ended up eating lunch here twice, taking out food each time. I had the Begg'N and the Chicken Croissant and both were fantastic. Really great (and unique) sandwiches and reasonably priced. Servers were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Delicious sandwiches. Photos online were unassuming but this place made a pretty killer sandwich. We tried a tuna sub and their Turkey bacon melt. Give em a try. Really Fresh. Best bacon I’ve had on a sandwich, very crispy crunchy.

I eat here all the time and am generally happy. The food is good and the staff friendly. But lately I’ve been getting really crummy sandwiches; this turkey club with almost no turkey for example. Just disappointed, maybe it’s a specific employee cutting corners, but if it happens again I’m out.

Reasonably priced and tasty, I got the Natural sandwich and the hot pastrami one for my husband, and scrambled eggs for the little one, the service was good and friendly stuff, what I liked the most is that they are environmentally friendly, there are vegan and vegetarian options and the containers to go are made of bambu and compostable, which for me is a big win!

We are in town for leisure so wandered the Square and decided to grab something light to eat. The tuna sandwich is definitely delicious. The tuna is high quality, not too fishy. The mixture was right in every way, not too much mayo or salty, well balanced with seasonings and went well with micro sprouts and rye sandwich. My mediterranean salad was loaded with all kinds of greens and huge portion. Enjoyed it very much!

This deli is wonderful! Not only lightning quick service during a lunch rush, but absolutely delicious. We had a crew of 5 and everyone’s choices were amazing! The bread was a highlight, soft but hearty thick slices that are realistically easy to bite into. Their smoothies are amazing too. The icing on the cake was that while I was waiting outside they unprompted brought out a doggie dish and water. Then they came out just to refill it!

Nice that they were open on a holiday. Wasn't busy at 10 AM. Ordered and was ready pretty quick. They call your name and bring it out to you. Outside seating available. Parking isn't bad in the morning. Checked in on Yelp and got to redeem a free coffee. Our group all got breakfast items. Breakfast burrito and sandwiches. Coffees and cider. I had the yogurt granola bowl. It was good. Glad the granola didn't have coconut in it since I don't like that. The honey is a packet on top. It would be better if it was fresh local honey they have in a condiment cup instead of the packet. Also picked up a blueberry scone which was buttery and not dry at all. A must try.
