"Your options for casual breakfast in Paso are a bit limited. But sometimes, a wine hangover requires eggs and bacon immediately and Red Scooter is here for you. This order-at-the-counter deli right on the main square has fantastic sandwiches across the board, but you need to concentrate on the breakfast section, particularly, the bacon avocado brioche sandwich. Crispy bacon, fresh avocado, and a fantastic brioche bun join forces to give you exactly what you and your stomach need before and after a long day of wine tasting." - Brant Cox

We were excited to try this deli knowing there are gluten free options (tortillas, bread and bagels) and good reviews. Service was great and moved quickly during the order process. We were disappointed with the simplicity of the food. The sourdough breakfast sandwich was lackluster. The gluten free burrito was missing flavor and freshness.

We stayed in town for a week in late March for a wedding and found this gem. Ended up eating lunch here twice, taking out food each time. I had the Begg'N and the Chicken Croissant and both were fantastic. Really great (and unique) sandwiches and reasonably priced. Servers were very friendly. Highly recommend.

Delicious sandwiches. Photos online were unassuming but this place made a pretty killer sandwich. We tried a tuna sub and their Turkey bacon melt. Give em a try. Really Fresh. Best bacon I’ve had on a sandwich, very crispy crunchy.

Nice that they were open on a holiday. Wasn't busy at 10 AM. Ordered and was ready pretty quick. They call your name and bring it out to you. Outside seating available. Parking isn't bad in the morning. Checked in on Yelp and got to redeem a free coffee. Our group all got breakfast items. Breakfast burrito and sandwiches. Coffees and cider. I had the yogurt granola bowl. It was good. Glad the granola didn't have coconut in it since I don't like that. The honey is a packet on top. It would be better if it was fresh local honey they have in a condiment cup instead of the packet. Also picked up a blueberry scone which was buttery and not dry at all. A must try.

Delicious sandwiches, especially the BBQ Beef! Great road trip stop/place to take a break, putting this on my list for trips up and down the 101! No indoor seating but the patio is perfect.

I was expecting to be blown away after reading the other reviews and a recommendation from a friend, but I thought my Italian Scooter was good but not amazing. I did modify it not to include the pesto mayo, and I substituted turkey for ham, so it could be that the original sandwich is a better experience. The service was wonderful and even though the inside is quite cramped, there are lots of tables outside. Get there before noon to avoid the rush. I also appreciated that they labeled the sandwiches since we ordered more than one.

Did a quick google search for a highly rated spot with sandwiches. We were headed to a wine tasting and wanted to bring along lunch. The inside is very small, service was friendly, and they have outdoor tables to sit and wait or eat. We were very happy with our sammies!

We came by for a light snack/lunch while visiting Paso Robles and after an errand at the post office. My spouse ordered a veggie wrap that should have been dairy free and when we got it it had feta on it so they kindly remade her wrap and reimbursed her the money. We left an extra tip for the thoughtfulness. Additionally I got a smoothie that was quite yummy- the banana nut with coffee protein powder.
