Red Snapper Seafood Restaurant

So I live directly next to this place but have never actually tried it. I always run by it and it’s in a weird looking building so I didn’t give it much thought. But one day, my girlfriend decides we’re trying it so I decide why not? Well, we go and I order the Hess Chardonnay, and they bring it out in no time filled to the rim and chilled to the perfect temperature. I ordered the Snapper Gourmet and my girlfriend had the Mixed Vegetable Salad. Boy oh boy did our food come quickly and cooked to perfection. The Snapper was delicious and I’m sad I overlooked this place for so long. 10/10 would recommend

This was an impromptu dinner after leaving Lenox and so our first time here. The food was GREAT.. !! To start the Gumbo had substance and just the right spice kick... Snapper Yvonne & Salmon cooked perfectly! The conversation, suggestions and service from both John & Claire was excellent!!! We will return and bring friends!!🤗

We have just read that Red Snapper is closing permanently due to the Covid-19 pandemic. What a loss that will be. It's a wonderful place with excellent food and great service. The Ginger Snapper and quality gumbo are not offered in any other restaurants around Atlanta. We will miss you!!

My wife and I have eaten here probably 50 times in the last 12 years. I can state, without hesitation, that I have never had a morsel of food at this restaurant which was an excellent. The quality of the dishes is consistent. They are clearly cooking to order because the food always comes out piping hot. The wait staff is friendly and attentive and once you become a regular customer you will find that they remember your favorites and anticipate the things that you like (such as a larger water glass or double salad). The chef is superb. Over the years she has become a friend of ours. I cannot say enough good things about Red Snapper. Every time I experiment with a new restaurant in Atlanta and don't enjoy the food or the experience, I walk behind myself and kick myself in the rear and ask myself the same thing - if you know that you are going to LOVE the food at Red Snapper every single time, why do you even bother to go somewhere else and be disappointed? Cannot say enough good things about this restaurant and I very very rarely take the time to do reviews of eating places. You will not be disappointed.

I took my grandparents and my younger cousin to The Red Snapper Seafood Restaurant for the first time on New Years Eve and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. Our table was ready and prepared the moment we walked in and we were warmly greeted by both of the owners. From the moment we sat down, we were treated as royalty. Our drink orders were promptly taken as well our menu choices and every item came out hot, fresh and delicious. I ordered the blackened salmon and they had the fried seafood platter and both were scrumptious with great flavor, seasoning and portion sizes. I cleaned my plate! I also appreciate the fact that the owners took the time to greet us and introduce themselves, I felt that it really gave the visit such a personal touch. I really wanted my family to have an amazing experience for New Years Eve and the Red Snapper Seafood Restaurant did not disappoint. In fact, they’ve gained new patrons that can’t wait to return. I most definitely recommend this restaurant and hope you’ll give them a visit so that you can experience their culinary excellence for yourselves.

We randomly went here for my father's birthday and it definitely exceeded our expectations. Everything was cooked with love and care and you could tell because everything was delicious. The service was also superb. There were 5 adults and 5 children in our party and they waited on everyone even the children. We will definitely come back again! So I’m honestly VERY sad about how my evening went here. See I had been coming here since I was a little girl - well over 20 years - tonight was my first time back after a while. It was like the place was completely different and I had no idea why - I later found out it was under new ownership 😢. The gumbo was remarkable in the past, I’ve never had a complaint - tonight it was not, it didn’t taste good. The snapper fingers were fried in what tasted like some kind of cheap fish fry. They used to be my favorite. They had a light batter on them before. These have now been butchered. Please get some of the old folks back In there so the taste of the food is what we all know and love. We used to love celebrating special occasions here but I don’t think I’ll be back after tonight. I s xx mean it really saddens me to say this. My waiter was kinda jittery also. Very flighty. Kept a as forgetting things. Was dazed for a few seconds, it was very unsettling. I just want it back to the way it used to be.
