"The Red Stag in Northeast Minneapolis was the first LEED-CI certified restaurant in Minnesota. The menu is Northwoods supper club fare made with locally sourced, sustainably farmed ingredients, and seafood that follows the Monterey Bay Seafood Watch guidelines. Keefer Court Waves Farewell, Ties Calls It Quits (For Now), and More Winter Closings - Eater Twin Cities

"After 15 years in Minneapolis’s Northeast neighborhood, Red Stag Supperclub is closing on December 31, as it announced on social media in late November. “The restaurant business has been challenged since the onset of COVID-19, and in turn, the changing of consumer habits. These challenges have affected how all restaurants do business,” the post reads." - Justine Jones

This is a good place to go on a weekend morning, we went on a Sunday. The prices were good but the service was a little slow, the waitress seemed to be bothered by something although I'm not sure what. Noteably, there was quite the difference between the first bloody Mary and the second, and I'm not talking about the size (although that did change too), the taste was very different and when we asked to have them remade, it didn't help. Maybe they had a different person making them or they changed the brand of alcohol. Either way, we did not have any more after that. The food was good though, I had the omelet and pancakes. The portions were typical and large for an omelet and I didn't finish mine completely. The beer selection was good as well and they had one of my favorite beers available. Overall I liked and will go again, but will not do the bottomless bloody Mary's again.

Very cool "supper club". Love the moody vibes and the blues music playing. Food was phenomenal, best burger ever! Wait staff was amazing! Only bummer, they were out of 1919 Rootbeer on tap!

My brother and I stopped by for lunch today. We enjoyed the vintage feel atmosphere and the old Nordeast neighborhood. Lots of breakfast item choices, but not much in the way of sandwiches for lunch. The kitchen was good about letting us order soup, but it wasn't on the lunch menu. Both burger and soup were delicious, but we waited over 30 minutes and it wasn't crowded at all. I would suggest calling first to see what menu they will be using. French fries were excellent, too.

The dining room was warm and inviting. The decorations were well done. The staff was courteous and welcoming. Our server was knowledgeable and polite. She did not address is with the completely lazy greeting of " how are you guys". My wife is not a guy. The dishes was presented wonderfully. The portions were generous and flavorful. I had the walleye fish and chips. My wife had the stroganoff. She loved it. The fish was great. Job well done all around.

Went on cheap date night which is on Tuesday's from 3:30-9:00pm, it was very worth it. We had two salads, shared a nice big pasta, a steak, a creme brulee, and all to pair with a bottle of red wine. Only for $48. I had the hanger steak and I'll admit it was fairly chewy and not the best, so I suggest trying one of their other entrees from the grill menu which sounded good as well. The pasta was large and had lots of flavor. It was the shrimp diavolo, it has a bit of a small kick to it if that's what you like in a pasta. The Caesar salad was delicious it may have been my favorite part of the menu if not for the delicious creme brulee which was absolute money👍 The atmosphere was relaxing and romantic, our server was very attentive and kind his name was Jasper. Overall a great date night.

Excellent food and craft cocktails. Our waiter, who was also our bartender, was very attentive and took care of us the whole 2 hours we lingered. Lots happening around the location so super easy to find things to do after eating such a delicious dinner.

I found the service to be somewhat disinterested, the chicken vegetable soup excessively salty, the french fries heat lamp warm when served and the limousin burger, while cooked properly was just not nearly as interesting as described on the menu. The brandy old fashioned was good and the dining room has a charm that is indeed “supper club”

So bummed that Red Stag Supper Club is closing on Dec 31!! The food tonight was excellent! And the hibiscus margaritas were delicious!!! We're going to miss the mainstay of Minneapolis cuisine. 😭😭😭😭
