This place is amazing and beyond accommodating. Had a table for 6 of us plus a high chair with no problem and was able to make all our our orders with no seed oils which was very much appreciated. Sever was super attentive and a sweetheart! Great find, great ambience, and super family friendly! Will be back!

This is a lovely gem in Huntington Beach. The drinks are good, the food is great, and the portions are large. We’ve come here on a date night and also with a group to celebrate a birthday. Every time the service is friendly and we’ve enjoyed the meal. It can get busy so I’d recommend making a reservation if you’re planning on going during the weekend.

This is my all time favorite restaurant. The food is excellent, great service, and the atmosphere is amazing. We've been coming to The Red Table with family and friends since 2009. This is not hyperbole, this is truly a gem of a restaurant!

Visited this restaurant because we are tired of going to the same place all the time. Very nice atmosphere. There is inside and outside dining available. I really like the indoor ambiance. Started with a cocktail and boy did we both need one. Friday night is date night so we always need a drink after a long week of work. We ordered a Mai Tai and another craft cocktail. I can't even remember the name but they were both listed under the Rum Craft Cocktail category and they were both delicious. It was not your average, traditional Mai Tai. It had a great flavor and something special in it. My hubby loves French Onion Soup so he started with a bowl of that. Let's just say it was amazing and the waterfall of cheese from the soup spoon to the cup made my mouth water. Even though I did not order it, I had a few bites and wish I did. For the main course, I ordered the shrimp and chicken pasta. It was yummy but needed some crushed red pepper. My husband was torn on what to order but he finally decided, after gawking at the food at table next to us, on the steak sandwich. It was legit! He actually saved half to bring home to our son. He also ordered a side of fries. The meal would have been complete and would have received 5 start but the waiter forgot us. We asked for Tabasco and a side of ranch dressing. Never got them. Would have asked for crushed red pepper but he only came back with the bill. Guess it was a good thing we ate our food anyway instead of waiting for it to get cold and for him to bring the requested items. We will definitely come back but maybe just sit at the bar and try the rest of the craft cocktails!

My wife and I were in town on Art business and decided to try Red Table Restaurant. So glad we did the service, food quality and taste were outstanding! Thank you we will be back 🔜!

We made a reservation ahead of time for our group of six adults and two kids, and our table was waiting for us when we arrived with water and a highchair. The food was fantastic, and our waitress was friendly and very pleasant. The portions we're larger than we expected, and it felt like a great value. One order of the banana cream pie was enough to feed the whole table dessert.

I have to agree with my roommate this is one of the best kept secrets in Huntington Beach we were greeted immediately by a really cool host name Mario made me feel right at home the bartender Ava had it hell of a sense of humor it was pretty much suret that no matter what she suggested it was going to be perfect so I had to start with the chicken lettuce wraps you get a choice of having a warm or cold I had to have them warm and for my entrée which I can't wait to try the beef stroke enough my roommate I don't know what he tried... But I do now because he just told me he's gone for the fish and chips chances are if you want to place it has elegance class and feels right at home this is where you're going to go the best part killer parking! The wine selections incredible I don't know why you would pass this place up you need to stop by and have dinner here... Half off wine Wednesdays? I think we already know where you're going to be If you're gonna get the chicken wraps you need to get them warm... Warm to form I had to have it in company my cocktail which set me up for the most perfect blend of flavor and texture each bite welcoming the next each sip welcoming the next Gulp! The food is absolutely outstanding! Our table ordered braised beef, lobster ravioli, fish tacos, and lasagna as the main course. The starters was brussel sprouts, flat bread, calamari with crispy kale, and brea cheese dip with toast. Our dessert choices was lava-cake, banana pie and toffee date cake. It was our first time dining at Red Table and I must say we were very impressed! There was nothing we ordered from the menu that we did not like. We'll definately be going back again. I must also add that our server Tony was awesome! He made our dining experience very enjoyable.

This place is super middle of the road and super expensive for what you're getting. However I will say they do pour a good old fashioned. I would be comfortable with drinks and appetizers here, other than that, no go. Staff is friendly though. But just so expensive for what the food is.

If you haven't been here yet, you need to put this on your list! My husband and I came here on a whim and I was beyond impressed. I usually have a hard time finding good gluten-free food but this place had TONS of options including gluten-free buffalo bites. They were crispy & full of flavor. We would come back JUST for these. My husband had the beef stroganoff & I had the fried fish tacos - that were also gluten free (they use rice flower & it's delicious). He had a side of garlic bread & we shared a crème brûlée (also gf). We both loved our food and definitely want to come back to try some of their other menu items. I ordered the Smoking Jacket which was a terrific old fashioned & he ordered the classic Mai tai that he said was a little on the tart side, but still enjoyable. Our server was Taylor P. She was super sweet, greeted us quickly & took amazing care of us. Our waters were never empty and she always pre-bussed our empty plates. We never had to ask her for anything, she was very attentive. Thank you Taylor! The decor is also so cute & just a vibe. They also have a dog-friendly patio! What an amazing find. We will definitely be back!

One of my favorite Restraunts. I'm bummed that they have slowly changed the menu, but it's still great. My daughter loves the shakey noodles and fries. The broken banana creme pie is delish! Can't go wrong with the appetizers. They're all good! My go to items: deviled eggs, warm baked bri, cheap date, & poke. My favorite to drink is the Antucura sparkling Rose.

Headed over to this restaurant for dinner on the weekend and was pleasantly surprised with the food since there were barely any customers. We ordered cocktails and some appetizers: deviled eggs, bacon wrapped dates, ahi tuna, and chicken bites.

Phenomenal food and service, if you've never been Go! The restaurant is located in a sleepy part of HB, Huntington Harbor. The menu has so many options but the cheap dates and boneless buffalo wings are amazing. The bar is always a fun place to sit but there are also booths that are comfortable. The lighting is relaxing, music is good and the outdoor patio is dog friendly. Highly recommend

I have been stalking this place on yelp for a while and finally tried it last night. The location is a bit obscure best parking is in the back of the shopping center where it is located. The restaurant inside is unique and has a great welcoming atmosphere. Service is great and staff is friendly. The food is delicious and has a well rounded menu of a lot of different types of food. It's like a short menu private owned Cheesecake Factory. Not pictured because I forgot to snap pics I also got the beef stroganoff, Caesar salad and veggie risotto. Very good

Had my birthday dinner here with friends on a rainy weekday and the food and service were great! Delicious cocktails and I opted for their Monday special which was chicken alfredo pasta ($15) - rich creamy pasta with lots of chicken chunks. I took half of it home. I recommend this dish! They brought out a creme brulee with a birthday candle for dessert. Super good too! Thanks Red Table for making my birthday dinner so memorable!

I had an incredible experience watching Gus train Heather he went above and beyond my expectations and made me feel truly valued. It's rare to see someone lead with such care, professionalism, and heart. Not only was Heather being trained with excellence, but I was also treated like a VIP customer. This kind of service is why I'll keep coming back again and again. And as always, the food was amazing! I was so impressed with my second night here, I'm seriously thinking about coming back for a third in a row. That's how good the experience was!

My mom and I came here for lunch and ordered the avocado crab salad off the September chef specials menu and the fish tacos off the lunch menu. We split them and both were very good. Fish tacos had a generous serving of fish in each taco and I loved the flavor of the crema. The crab avocado salad was great! Really happy we tried this special since it's only around for a month. 4 stars instead of 5 because they did forget about us on the patio. Service, once we reminded them we were out there, was great.

I want to start off saying service was great!! I've been to red table a bunch of times over the years because it's one of those places that's close to home. We came here on Saturday to celebrate my birthday dinner with my family. I was sadly disappointed with the food I had the halibut fish and chips and they are so overly breaded that you can hardly taste the fish and lacked any flavor. My youngest had the pasta and giant meatball and said it tasted like Pho so I took a bite and she was right it lacked appeal she took two bites and was done. My oldest daughter had the burger and said it was just okay and only had 1/2 of her meal. My husband was happy with his steak sandwich and our other guest liked his salmon tacos. Overall it was definitely lacking especially for the cost of our whole bill I would have expected a lot more. Working in the restaurant industry I know first hand how much everything has gone up in price but for the price we paid I would have expected Great food. Sadly probably won't be returning

This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant to take any of my friends to when they come over, but recently I noticed that the prices on their menu noticeably increased, while the serving sizes looked like they got smaller - especially when ordering takeout! But, this place is also a very warm ambiance inside, we also love their outdoor patio and the fact that this restaurant had many gluten free offerings, Is their saving grace to take them from a 4/5 rating to the full 5 stars. In fact, when I first started coming here in 2016, I used to be able to get an order of their fries with their no bones buffalo chicken for a little under $20 and now I just recently noticed that just their no bones buffalo chicken cost $16 now. I mean is it delicious? Yes! Is it gluten free and perfectly fried with the perfect texture? Yes. Does it warrant $16? Not after the serving size got smaller as well, to be quite honest with you. But as a person who adheres to a gluten free diet, they perfectly adhere to delivering quality gluten free options for your: entrees, appetizers, salads and desserts. In fact, I've enjoyed many meals here with something different from every menu category and still thoroughly enjoyed my meal. As a takeout place, their serving sizes could definitely be larger, but they do have your food ready by the time estimated time that is given over the phone and a server will promptly help you complete your order once you arrive, too. As a sit down restaurant to enjoy dinner/lunch inside or outside on the patio, the service seems a little slow, but the food is always on point and perfect, so that seems to make up for their occasionally slow service. This is the perfect place to come to enjoy a meal outside, as they are also dog friendly as long as your pup is friendly and well trained/behaved (minimal barking, too). My favorite dishes are the: southern fried, no bones buffalo chicken with no sauce, the lemon chicken plate and the slice of the flourless chocolate lava cake with vanilla ice cream. I also really enjoy their regular fries and tomato bisque soup. A lot of friends that have enjoyed meals with me here have raved about their: steak sandwich, the spaghetti and meal ball meal and their tomato bisque and grilled cheese sandwich meal. If you're looking for a big menu with consistent quality meals in the harbour, look no further and run, don't walk to enjoy a meal here.

We had a delicious meal here. Everyone and everything was great. I had the beef stroganoff and the crab cake appetizer. My husband had the beef dip sandwich. Everything was so tasty. We cant wait to come back.

*** LATE POST *** I was here with two BESTIES on 01-08-23. Been here many times before, but RED TABLE never disappoints. Hidden gem behind the TJ's on Algonquin in Huntington Beach, and #iykyk there is parking out back which gets you within a few steps from Red Table's front door. The quality of the food here has gotten even better than I remember (and it was amazing before) and although they seem to recycle the menu regularly, some of the all time faves always survive! One being the "cheap dates"... which, I'd pretty much call their signature appetizer. Don't leave without trying it!! Absolutely delicious, yet simple and a great start to your meal. The presentation on a bed of arugula takes it over the top with a scoop of mascarpone cheese which makes the triple flavor melt in your mouth. Sweet, salty and creamy... BEST EVER! I opted for the chopped salad, which was fresh and delicious! Always feels better (after) to eat something healthy, but I snagged a bite of my friend's Chilaquiles which were (pretty) AMAZING. I've only tried Chilaquiles once before (elsewhere) and remember them being soggy, so I thought I'd never order them again!! These were fresh and crispy with extra thick tortilla chips! Delicious sauce and she ordered a gooey egg on top. My other friend had two poached eggs over English muffins, but as you'll note from the photo, you can tell even something this simple was QUALITY. Both eggs and toast were fresh and looked delicious. It was a bit chilly outside, but LOVE eating outside, so we plowed through. Preferred the patio vs the inside, which can be a little glomy. Everything down to the cloth napkins, nice silverware, wait staff and food was on point. I'll definitely be back again!!... and again. Thank you Red Table.

Best loco moco I have ever had and always a great craft beer selection. Call to see if loco moco is on menu for the day, it's a special menu item.

I ordered my food on UberEats and I'm disappointed. The grill cheese and tomato soup is not really good. The flavor from the soup is not very appetizing. The Mac n cheese is alright. The crème brûlée and banana cream pie is not good. I had really high hopes on the desserts, guess I was wrong. I payed over $100 for this and I'm really disappointed. The food is overpriced and awful. I won't be eating Red Table ever again.

I was searching for the perfect little spot to celebrate my birthday and we found it!! The decor was so cute the ambiance was nice and inviting the food was delicious!! Our waitress Elisa (sorry if I spelled wrong) she was so attentive managing the bar and our table! She took such good care of us! Thank you for a great birthday celebration!

My daughter picked this restaurant and it is my first time here. We were seated right away and our orders were taken. The first thing brought to us was meant for another table. When the food finally arrived, the "hot" food was cool to the touch - waffles, eggs, breakfast burrito. No offer to refill coffee cups. Salt and pepper came loose in a small dish and everyone had to use their own fingers. The bacon looked raw. The replacement was super overdone and hard. Waitress wasn't around much. Would l come back here? Don't think so. Happy Mother's Day

A single star review!! What's going on here? Read more to find out just why I am not able to deliver anything higher, or lower... My wife and I, my then fiancée, were looking to have a quiet dinner at a unique restaurant and Red Table was the place we agreed to visit. We waited 15 minutes at the seating hostess' station, not one person greeted us. I'm sure you're thinking, "Busy restaurant, hustle and bustle, cut 'em some slack." Wrong! There were two other couples dining inside and plenty of staff chatting it up rather casually to see any type of excuse for neglect. We headed out and landed at another restaurant. 3 years later we returned to give it another go and the same thing happened again. You guessed it, we left. Most recently my wife and I headed back to the restaurant to give it a go and we were seated in the moderately paced restaurant and waited. 20 minutes after our appetizer order and not one word or drink check top off we left with a discouraged feeling. We left enough cash to cover the appetizer and a generous tip in an effort to hopefully cause the server to question the generosity whilst thinking about the lack of service that was delivered. We are 0 for 3 here and have no plans to return.

One of my go to favorites for dinner and date night with my wife. Great ambiance and service! Large selection of wines and sprits. They definitely do a great job on their wine selections. My all time favorites are their potato wrapped salmon. Their no bones buffalo chicken and fries make for a great appetizer. Lastly, for all celiac or gluten sensitive Red Table is a must. Pretty much everything is ok as they prepare all meals with rice flour and the fryers never fry any gluten containing ingredients.

Went back to where we had our first date last weekend. Thank you Red Table for an amazing dinner & drinks... We shared the wine-maker burger, caesar salad & corn chowder... sooooo yummy! You never disappoint!

We came in last night for Valentine's Day. It took the host awhile to greet us, we believe she was training a newly hired host; not a huge deal at all. We sat inside where the ambiance was actually pretty rad. We enjoyed the overall vibe and environment of the restaurant. We sat awhile before anyone came by. One server walked by our table 5 or 6 times before she came by. She came by and said someone else was our server and that he would be right with us. Bryan came by, and right off the bat he was amazing. He was super informative and friendly and even went to the bar and kitchen to ask the questions that we had. He was so friendly in speaking about his line of work and the history of the restaurant. He was also able to provide great suggestions. We had the brussel sprouts and sweet potato fries that were both great. The sprouts were perfectly cooked and the fries came out hot and crispy. I personally thought the bacon chive aioli they came with, needed just a tad of lemon juice. The sauce itself was so thick and a strange consistency but overall, very tasty. I ordered the fish tacos and he ordered the short rib. The short rib was cooked to perfection along with the veggies that came with it. I literally could not believe it ! Not a lot of places can do short rib right but this place totally did. The fish tacos were lightly fried and the house made slaw on top was the perfect acidity to cut through the fried fish. The cocktails were sub par for us. We tried a few of the valentines ones, they were good but would likely not order them again - I would choose something else. Hopefully next time they have general spirit lists they can hand out since the bar shelf was beyond unorganized, we weren't able to see all they had to offer. Side note - bring a small pack of Clorox wipes if possible because the restrooms were not clean. Overall, Bryan was AMAZING, we would come back and ask for him again. The food was great and could tell it was fresh !

I discovered this place about 5 years ago. Through find me gluten free app. It is my absolute favorite restaurant. We come here usually every Saturday my wife and I are in town. Best food. Best staff. Best kitchen. By the way. Best Mai tais I've ever had in my life!!!!

I ordered the Breakfast Sandwich, mom had grilled cheese with tomato soup and fads had Juevos Rancheros. My sandwich was ok, but the house potatoes were cold (along with my dad's as well). But more disappointing was the service. I asked for Tobasco sauce which the server forgot to bring. I had to remind him on that as well as coffee refill. When he did bring the Tobasco sauce he brought enough for 10 people lol. Just bring the bottle! They were not busy- 2 tables inside and 2 tables occupied outside. Server was no where to be found when it was check time. Finally he brought it but it contained 3 previously signed checks lol. This guy was lost! I won't be returning

Absolutely loved this restaurant! Their ambiance is awesome, the service is friendly and didn't take long, and there are sooo many gluten free options for my daughter with severe celiac disease (she can rarely get breaded chicken and fries, so happy she gets them here thanks to their dedicated fryer!). I LOVED their rib Mac and cheese. Definitely want to keep coming back here!!!

First of all everyone who works here is super nice. The food has always been really good. Always look forward to the monthly specials. The Beef Wellington special for February was so good, we will be getting it a few more times.

My boyfriend and absolutely loved Red Table. The ambiance was great, the service was outstanding, and the food was delicious. We had the truffle potato chips, arugula salad, Cajun fries and the chicken lettuce cups for happy hour. We washed all the food with good beer and called it a night.

Really good espresso martini. Short ribs outstanding and salmon salad is very good. Lots of good choice menu items. Great service most of the time except when extremely busy.

I've come here a lot over the past few years, the ambiance is nice. The service is always friendly too. The main dishes are pricey, but never disappoint. I recommend coming in for happy hour, it's a great place for Thirsty Thursdays with friends.

Had my 70th birthday party there recently. Everyone had a great time and loved the food and drinks. Two guests were gluten free which was no problem. Got a birthday surprise dessert served in a massive metal spoon. Service was excellent as it always is when going there. Bar staff knows their stuff. Really relaxing atmosphere. Highly recommended.

I honestly want to pull what little hair i have left out when a restaurant can't have enough people on staff . Why are we waiting 10 minutes for a server to show up once seated? The food is good here but I am giving up on this place due to their inability to provide good service. By no means is it cheap, therefore the owners should try to ensure they have enough employees to accommodate the patrons they have. Btw, it wasn't just the initial contact, it was the entire night.

I've heard about this place a while now, and now that I live nearby I decided to go for lunch. Justin was our server, and was on point. Actually all of the staff was very friendly and helpful, we chatted with a few of the staff while there. Dog friendly patio. We started with the deviled eggs served on top of a spicy tomato sauce sprinkled with prosciutto chips they were delicious. I had the Cobb salad which was delicious, Although $18 for a Cobb salad is a bit steep. My friend had the tomato bisque and house salad, she said the soup was delicious, and the house salad was huge! Next time will try their happy hour!
