Disappointing First Visit to Red, White & Basil: We had high hopes for Red, White & Basil after hearing mixed reviews—so we went in with an open mind and a craving for good Italian. Unfortunately, our experience left much to be desired. The ambiance is minimalist—stark, cold, and not at all cosy or inviting. Metal chairs and hard wooden benches give it more of a cafeteria vibe than a cozy Italian trattoria. Likely very noisy/echo-y when crowded as there's not a lot of upholstery/curtains to buffer/absorb. As I was seated on a hard bench, the host casually remarked, “There’s a pillow around here somewhere if you can find it.” Sure enough, there was one pillow—in the far corner across the room. Just one. For the entire room. And I had to get up and go retrieve it myself. On a positive note, the cocktail menu was creative and the wine list had some nice options. Our server Rob was friendly, attentive, and definitely the highlight of the evening. We ordered a selection of appetizers and entrees to get a good sense of the menu. Sadly, the execution just wasn’t there. Fried Calamari: Def overcooked, with the 2 tentacle pieces brownish black. A refrigerator-cold and verrry oily lemon half accompanied it. Oddly, it was served with a sweet Thai chili sauce instead of classic marinara—a confusing miss for an Italian restaurant. Clams Oreganata ($13): Only three clams, and rather than using whole, fresh belly clams, with a topping, it appeared to be breadcrumbs/herbs mixed with canned minced clams. Beet Salad: Nice combo, but on the dry side. The vinaigrette was on the beets, not the greens, so barely noticeable. Lasagna: Described as made with bolognese, but good luck finding or tasting any meat. The tomato sauce tasted VERY acidic and looked of tomatoes/skins pulsed in the food processor. The dish was a cheesy, mushy bake topped with an overly thick/slick layer (3/4"+) of melted mozzarella. Chicken Parm: The cutlet was also over-fried, with one end blackened in the frying. It came with fresh bucatini that was completely bland and tasteless—like it had never seen salted water. Oddly, for a restaurant with "basil" in the name, there wasn’t a single menu item that celebrated it. (And it's definitely in season locally!) Not even the burrata—menu said served with fruit instead of the classic tomato & basil combo. The Bottom Line: Our total for three apps, two entrees, one iced tea, and no alcohol or dessert came to over $91, not including tip. For that price, there are far better Italian dining experiences to be had in town.

A wonderful italian restaurant. We were seated quickly on a Saturday night, plenty of space in the restaurant/patio. Our server Bronco was kind, helpful, and pleasant. The pasta was all homemade, and it tasted fresh! Everything tasted fresh and delicate. I would happily eat there again. The drinks were good as well.

Tonight was our 2nd time in Red White & Basil!! What a great evening. The staff is just wonderful. Friendly, attentive, very professional & knowledgeable. The restaurant feels like a family gathering spot! Everyone chatting with each other & some having a nice quiet dinner out. It really is a nice place for an evening out. Now let’s take about the food!! Such wonderful choices. I honestly thought the bakes rigatoni I had the first time I came would be my permanent choice. But I saw the chicken prosciutto! Wow! I never had any dish like this before. It was delicious. Every dish I saw come out of the kitchen looked amazing. Give it a try. You will really enjoy it!

Google
The food was amazing. The lemon drop martini is to die for. Highly recommend.

Google
I would give negative stars if possible. I rarely leave a negative review but the food was so bad I want to warn anyone from going here. We waited 50 minutes for the food to come out and when it finally did, 4 out of the 6 dishes were inedible. Never order the linguine with clams, shrimp scampi, ratatouille, nor the cod piccata. Something was definitely wrong in the kitchen. If not for the kind waitress who apologized profusely we would’ve left with a ruined night. It was absolutely the worst restaurant experience we have ever had. What do I expect in beach town - this is what we said to console ourselves. Absolutely the worst worst Italian food ever. Be warned!

Google
My family and I had a wonderful experience at Red White & Basil. The food was excellent, tasty cocktails and friendly service. We are Italians visiting from NYC. I have to be honest I was a bit skeptical as Italian food is always hit or miss especially outside of NYC. That being said we were pleasantly surprised and would happily return. I look forward to eating my leftovers today.

Google
I absolutely love this place! The food is delicious, beautifully prepared, and all textures were how they should be. My Italian wife of 12 years enjoyed the food here as well. Our server was great! The music isn't blaring so conversations can be heard easily. My one critique is that my Linguini with clam was a bit acidic for a meal that was served lemon on the side.

Google
Decided to go for Happy Hour. The bar area wasn't very crowded but we decided to sit at the bar. Jeff, the bartender, couldn't have been friendlier. We had the cheese board and the burratta & watermelon appetizers. Both were delicious and extremely well priced. Definitely recommend and looking forward to returning in the near future!

Yelp
I would say it was a solid 3 star experience here. Inside is very cute and waitstaff very friendly and attentive, though the wait time for food is much too long for a place like this. It was not crowded for the 4th of July weekend, when every other restaurant in Rehoboth had a 1-1.5 hr wait. Still, it took a very long time for our dishes to arrive, which were mediocre. I got the pesto fettuccine and added chicken, and you can see in the picture that it only came with a few small pieces of chicken. Definitely not what I would consider $7 worth. Overall, the meals were okay, we all finished them because the portions aren't extremely large.

Yelp
I just wanted some simple pasta, so decided to give this a whirl. I had the fettuccine with basil pesto. Noodles were a touch wider, but thin and tasted quite fresh. Nicely done. We went on Wednesday which featured a ravioli special. My partner loved the ravioli stuffed with sundried tomato and prosciutto. The filling was minced and the encasing noodle, delicate but firm. They declared some of the nicest around town! Nice wines by the glass. Nice waitstaff. Music over in the populated bar side, and we sat over in the restaurant side. Not very busy, but we were a bit late for the dinner crowd. I just wish the Parmesan was not in a pizza shaker....

Greg C.

Yelp
Very helpful staff. Isaiah was our waiter and he did a great job describing options and making us feel welcome. Superstar. The food is mixed quality. Salad and soup was good. Bolognese sauce is very good; marinara was not. Meatballs good but the bread serves with the pasta was more of a roll not Italian bread. Decor is very casual, unremarkable. Overall a decent place but there are better options.

Yelp
2.5/5 stars Whenever we drive down to the beach, my family and I always pass this restaurant noting how we need to go there sometime. It is safe so say that we are in no hurry to go back. Firstly, I will account that the outdoor seating was very nice and was decorated well. We then read the menu over and were pleased with the options, other than the absence of a kids menu. Next, our waitress came over and we were surprised by her obvious sarcasm, seeming like she didn't really want to be there. For an appetizer, we chose the garlic bread ($8) which was honestly spectacular. Three of us then ordered the 3 course meal option, which is only $22 and comes with a salad/soup, your choice of pasta, and a cannoli. The salads were very good but during this time we also noticed that one of our knives had remnants of food on it from a previous user. When our main course came out, we were pretty happy to see how amazing the pasta looked. Unfortunately, the Italian sausage was quite tough and the noodles were slightly undercooked. Additionally, the garlic bread from the Burrata salad was stale. Overall, the food quality and service need some improvement, but in retrospect, it could've been way worse.

Eric W.

Yelp
Been driving by for a while and finally gave it a try. Wow!! Will definitely be back. The pre fixe menu for $23.00 can't be beat. Enjoyed the Alfredo sauce with fettuccine. My husband had the tortelini with vodka marinara sauce with chicken. Excellent choices. Salad was super fresh and the dressing was quite nice with a lemon zest to it. Soup needed a little salt to perk up veggies. Excellent service. Nice dining room area. It was a rainy night so it seemed very cozy. We were very impressed.

Melody D.

Yelp
4/12/2025 - I did not like the food. I started with the Tomato Basil soup. It was a gritty soup - not smooth. I'm not sure why. I had tortellini with vodka sauce. While the tortellini tasted fine, the sauce was gritty like the soup and very thick. I didn't feel like I had "sauce". My husband and son had chicken/veal Parmesan and they didn't like it either. Their pasta was too al dente. And again, the sauce wasn't a sauce. It was just a thick coating of marinara. Our overall impression was we'd rather go to an Olive Garden than here.

Jen P.

Yelp
We had a very good experience with the food and service. Ate soup, pasta, shrimp appetizer, and dessert. The pasta was cooked well and sauce was delicious. The bar staff were delightful. This is the perfect spot as a weekly "neighborhood " favorite.

Yelp
I read the reviews for Red White and Basil and there were many poor reviews. I couldn't turn down the opportunity to try it for myself being that it wouldn't be a ride into the Rehoboth beach downtown area. I am glad to say they were wrong. This is a relaxing spacious atmosphere. The food reviews by all at our table were positive. I had the special spinach fettuccine meal. It was very tasty due to all their pasta is made fresh. We ordered a number of apps and they were good portions and delicious. No food item was exceptional, but the meals were not bland. The drink offerings from the bar were numerous with multiple red and white wine options too! The staff were attentive. We were never left for long or without drinks. Give this place a try because it may just become your go to place!

David L.

Yelp
Homemade pasta cooked to perfection. Authentic Ceasar Salad. Nice Pinot Grigio by the glass. FRESH marinara, Light tasting tiramisu. Very good service. Food brought out timely. Open , simple concept decor. Bread quality does not match the elevated level of the restaurant. Still - Hidden gem.

Yelp
We visited on a Saturday night. Despite available tables, the restaurant should have limited seating because the kitchen seemed severely understaffed or unable to handle more than two orders every 30 minutes. We waited nearly an hour for our appetizers, and after two more hours, our main dishes still hadn't arrived. We decided to have our meals boxed, which took an additional 20 minutes. Other diners were also complaining about the long wait times. I'll give one star for the servers, who did their best, but the kitchen needs serious improvement or the restaurant should adjust its seating capacity. The food we eventually took home was disappointing; the chicken was extremely dry, as if it had been overcooked (maybe this is what they were doing for 2 hours).

Yelp
These folks offer great Italian food made with fresh ingredients at a reasonable price. Service is usually pretty good and drinks are a reasonable price (except a glass of wine which tends to be pricey). Kitchen management needs to be addressed IMHO because the several times I've been there they have been out of the same entrees that I was looking to try. One time being out of an item I can understand but several times with the same items being 86'd means they are not tracking entrees sold daily to adjust for ingredients needed on hand to produce them at the average volume of demand. Jus' sayin...

Yelp
As a life long summer Rehoboth beach person I thought I had tried every restaurant in the area..However I was wrong! Constantly drove past Red , White and Basil but never stopped. What a mistake! The food is fresh and fabulous the drinks were spot on and I cannot say enough about the Fresh made salads, pasta and dessert . ( Brought most mine home) Our server/bartender Kimber was delightful. Will be back and bring friends!

Kristen J.

Yelp
The restaurant was clean so that's why they get 2 stars. Server was relatively attentive, but seemed to be rushing us to order and move on to desert quickly even though there were a ton of open tables. The food was extremely disappointing. We are locals and have been saying let's try it for awhile so finally did. Flatbread was soggy and not even sliced as you would think an appetizer would be, so we had to cut ourselves. The baked pasta dish I had seemed like it had been cooked a week ago and reheated. The scallops in my husbands seafood pasta were the size of a pencil eraser and about a tablespoon of crab meat. The pasta was stuck together badly. My wine came in like a milk glass, and was def subpar. Overall, a disappointment. we will not be back. it's a-shame because we had high hopes considering the ownership is the same as Eden, which we love.

Denise S.

Yelp
Appetizers were excellent, lasagna and baked pasta dishes amazing - atmosphere casual and relaxing ...very good find

Yelp
Their lasagna night special is a great delicious deal and quality service. Other night specials too

Yelp
We had a fantastic dinner at Red White & Basil. We made a reservation online and arrived on the earlier side (5:45pm) on a Sunday night. We were seated right away and our server was very friendly and attentive. He explained the main menu, cocktail menu and the specials. The calamari appetizer was enough for four to share and was served with a fresh pesto and marinara dipping sauce. I ordered the rockfish server with quinoa, which was delicious and perfectly prepared. Someone else ordered the fresh Lemon Ricotta fettuccine and added chicken (for a small fee). Creamy, fresh, melt in your mouth pasta! The other entrees, the Linguine & Clams and the Veal Marsala, were excellent. Everyone loved their dish. They have a wine list and nice dessert menu. The Cannolis were perfect! We'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Service was excellent but the food was lacking. They had a lot of outside seating which would be nice on the right night. I was very concerned when I saw how empty the restaurant was on a Friday night at 6 pm. Atlantic Social was the same when we ate there soon after moving to the area and we had a terrible experience there. If we were not meeting friends there we would have turned right back around and left. The food was pretty bland. I had a fettuccine Alfredo and it was ok but my wife got a Caesar salad with chicken and she said the chicken was rubbery. She couldn't eat it. The cheese board was pathetic. It was 4 pieces of bread, a few nuts and a few pieces of cheese. The calamari was not very good. Our friends chicken Parmesan was burnt. The pasta was good and seemed to be homemade. The wine carafe was very large and the wine was good. My old fashioned was also very good. Overall, not terrible but not good enough for us to return.
google avatar

Rocco M.

Yelp
Great food and affordable prices. Staff were nice and very helpful, plates were cleared quite quickly. The decorations were subtle and it was a nice place to eat dinner. The ambiance was nice. I ordered the fettuccine fungi prix-fix with tomato basil bisque (comes with a cannoli) On my second visit, I ordered calamari and the fettuccine leek special (shown in pictures) + Pasta was cooked very nicely and came out quick + Waters came to table fast followed by our server + Drink selection is very wide, long wine list + Friendly and helpful staff + Amazing soup - Sauces were lacking the strong flavor I was hoping for 5/5, will dine again

Yelp
We loved our dinner here! The pasta special is such a great deal with really high quality food. The service was on point and the romantic atmosphere was great. It was definitely a more upscale casual dining experience. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
I feel bad giving a new place a not stellar review because I really would like them to be successful. I hope they just need to work out some things - and we will give them another chance next summer if it seems like people like them. Our server, Grant, was wonderful. Attentive, helpful - he was the best part of the restaurant. We saw on their website they have a $18 pre fixe meal with a soup/salad, pasta dish, and a cannoli. When we got there the menu said $19. Obviously it is not a big difference. But since the restaurant JUST OPENED why is their website incorrect? Weird. I went with the tomato basil soup because I love tomato basil soup. And my bf went with the salad. His salad looked delish! And he said it tasted good. My small cup of soup was filled about 1/3 of the way up. I felt like it was a joke there was so little soup in it. It was like 6 spoonfuls total. But that ended up being ok bc the soup was not good. So get the salad not the soup. I then ordered a pasta - I forget which one - with vodka cream sauce. My bf ordered the fra diavlo w pasta and meatballs. We waited about 45 minutes after our soup and salad for the pasta to come out. But again they are new and the servers were all working very hard. So we didn't say anything and just waited. Our meals finally came out. And my vodka cream sauce was untraceable. I couldn't see it or taste it. It seemed like just a dish of pasta. So we asked Grant to get a side of sauce. And to his credit- he got it ASAP. The host then came over to make sure it was enough - which I though was great. It was much better with the sauce. Oh! And when the meals were served they asked if we wanted fresh grated parm. Of course we did! And then we were brought a sprinkle container like from a pizza shop - which made me laugh bc that really isn't fresh grated parm. Anyway, my bf said his meal was good. Lastly - the cannolis were delicious! Although they were mini cannolis - not reg cannolis so we thought the menu should have reflected that. Overall it also just wasn't enough food for either of us and an hour later my bf was eating leftovers from our fridge from another meal we had. The restaurant is new and I'm sure they will get better with time. So I guess wait a few months and then try them out.

Yelp
We picked Red White & Basil because of open reservations on a Friday night & it was perfect!! Simple & Super cute interior that fits the beach life. Food was terrific from the salad with a light slight creamy lemon vinaigrette to the Shrimp Veracruz and the Fettuccine Bolognese! Plus- I love a place that offers zoodles as an option!! They have a 3 course meal for $22- Salad- Pasta choice & cannoli. Our server Colin was attentive and Chris the food runner didn't miss a beat! We will be back to this little gem!

Judith M.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant last night, March 12, 2025. I ordered an entree Seafood Pasta. The entree was described as shrimp and scallops in a cream sauce. The shrimp served were teenie tiny. The scallops in this entree were itty bitty, definitely straight out of tin can. This entree was 35 dollars. Don't waste your money. The wait staff consisted of 2 people. Extremely long wait time for meal being served. Then it took waiter as least 45 minutes to process our check. Don't waste your time.
google avatar

Scott C.

Yelp
Soggy pasta, high school cafeteria breadsticks, dessert dry chicken, and inexperienced waitstaff. Olive Garden is more "Italian", and frankly, you'll have a better meal there. A year after they opened how does the quality get even worse? After two terrible experiences, I'll never go back. Horrendous.
google avatar

Ray D.

Yelp
Looked at the reviews & was skeptical about the restaurant right away but thought okay try to be open minded. Don't make the same mistake we did. We sat for almost a hour & a half waiting for our food & naturally frustrations boil over & when we talked to the manager, he actually had the balls to say "you wanna take this outside". Joke of a restaurant, joke of a kitchen staff & joke of a manager. Don't waste your time.
google avatar

James B.

Yelp
The food was okay, not great. For example, the garlic toast had little if any garlic taste, while the bolognese sauce was tasty despite two large stems. The wedding soup was also good, but served with a large stem. Service was friendly, prompt and attentive. The ambiance was casual and comfortable.

Debi H.

Yelp
Went to Red White and Basil for the first time Saturday night and we were so disappointed! I don't want to be mean but neither one of us have ever been so unhappy with our meals. We each had a Caesar salad which basically tasted like lettuce. Hubby had veal cutlet Parmesan and the sauce just had no flavor at all. I had the chicken piccata which was a thick, slightly overcooked piece of chicken that was very obviously not tenderized at all. The chicken was dry and bland and there was no sauce! There was a lot of piccata on top but even those had no flavor!? Neither one of us ate more than 5 bites of our meal. We did not complain, we did not want anything taken off the check but we will never go back and we left resenting having spent $90 on a meal that wasn't worth eating. The service was good and the wine was ok. Two other disappointments- this is supposed to be an Italian restaurant but we did not even get a decent roll, all we got was 1 soft breadstick. The icing on the cake was a cardboard take home container ... for pasta?!? I guess that's a sin that could have been forgiven if the food was at least worth it.

Yelp
Thankful for this restaurant and attentive bar service from Kimmr. When Rehoboth gets busy, this is your place for classic Italian meals and service.
google avatar

Shannon H.

Yelp
I just want to say the food is amazing, and the manager/ bartender Kymmer...WoW!!!! Kymmer goes way above and beyond then the other employees there ., I see she has a lot to uphold, and she does it with grace and integrity.. some people don't like to work, she is there to work and yet still please her guests no matter what..AMAZING...

Yelp
Very nice restaurant and staff. Besides all the traditional Italian entrees, i had the three course prix fixe dinner with soup, a pasta dish with choice of noodle and sauce plus dessert. All very good and would go back again

Mick G.

Yelp
Delivery. Just awful. Scampi sauce literally just butter. 5 tiny clams overcooked beyond edible. Chicken parm slightly larger than a McDonald's cheeseburger over 2 oz of pasta with a tablespoon of red sauce. One stale breadstick to share. Never again.

Colleen N.

Yelp
I was so excited to add this restaurant to my short list of my top 5 favorites in the Rehoboth/Bethany area. It will not make the list!! The staff was very kind. We both went with the pre-fixed dinner option. Salad was terrific! We both had the RWB salad to start. The garlic bread was nothing more than melted cheese on a baguette. They really should consider changing the name to "cheesy bread" We both selected the rigatoni one with marinara, the other w/bolognese. So sad that both of our pasta dishes were terrible. Pasta was completely undercooked, beyond chewy - we didn't even eat 1/3 of our bowls. Minor additional point - asked at the beginning of the meal if they had any sparkling water our kind server said " oh, we do it's upstairs though and not chilled" offered no other alternative- we just drank water. Total bill was $51.00. We paid, left and went home and had pizza!! Look elsewhere if you're feeling the need for a little Italian!!
google avatar

katie l.

Yelp
Passing through and family wanted Italian. A few things they could do to raise stars. Do not overcook the pasta. This is an easy fix. Check in on patrons more often. Don't charge $7 for 4 shrimp. I was hoping for more but should have checked reviews prior to stopping in. Positives- parking The family gave it a "mid" rating

Theresa B.

Yelp
Observations from Red White and Basil: 1)Waited 22 minutes after seated and getting water to be greeted by a server. 2)Once noticed, we were double teamed by servers. 3)Server was polite and attentive. 4)The restaurant was not full. 5) Outdoor seating looked beautiful. 6) Food was well worth wait. After we were finally served, it came quickly and was absolutely delicious. 7)Good cannoli 8) I got the strawberry basil mule. It was ok. Once and done. 9)Limoncello was great. 10)Portions big. Prices good. 11)I will definitely be a return customer.
google avatar

Paul S.

Yelp
The worst Italian meal we've ever had. Caesar salad dressing was minimal and not creamy. Garlic bread had no garlic taste. Pasta was overcooked. Vodka sauce had a nasty taste and the chicken tasted like rubber. Bolognese sauce had beef that seemed to be cooked separately and thrown into some tomato sauce...dried out beef.

Patti Z.

Yelp
Service was good, but the food was below average. No flavor, dry meatballs with no marinara, the Milanese had too much dressing and the chicken was over fried and dry. Even the garlic bread was very average. Unfortunately we will not be back.
google avatar

Ed K.

Yelp
Limited menu options, small serving size, mediocre food quality. Touch of Italy much better

Yelp
We had a reservation for 4 at 6PM on a Monday evening. we were promptly welcomed and seated. Our waiter did a terrific job of explaining the menu and specials for us. We each enjoyed a specialty cocktail before dinner, elegantly presented and delicious Salads were presented (go for the beets!) and those plates were cleared and water glasses refreshed before entrees were presented. I enjoyed what is quite likely the best oso buco, ever As we were connecting with friends we hadn't seen in months, we lingered over desserts for nearly an hour. Our hostess was supportive and encouraged our stay Overall, a great evening! We'll be returning

Yelp
Enjoyed a lovely meal last evening. Appetizers, dinner, desert and beverages. Impeccable, kind service and every employee we chatted with was welcoming. Clean and comfortable dining area and bar.

Yelp
Such a great time here! Loved everything we ordered and the staff was great. Also, just a great chill vibe + there's parking! My favorite dish was the clams linguine and don't skip out on the desserts.

Yelp
Not a place I would recommend or go back to and I was really hoping for better since it's a new restaurant. While the atmosphere and decor was pleasant and the service was great, the food left a lot to be desired. The portion sizes were very small for the price and the food was over cooked and all the sauces tasted burnt. My wife ordered the chicken parmigiana and the chicken was over cooked, very tuff and inedible. I got the special pre fixed $19.00 pasta dinner that included a house salad and desert. I added the meatballs for an additional $6.00. The meatballs all feel apart and the it was more a meat sauce then meatballs. Mt sauce selection was the spicy Fra Diavolo sauce which was not spicy at all and was so burnt you couldn't eat it. There claim to fame is that all paste is made fresh daily. Too bad the sauces are so bad and leaves such a bad taste in your mouth that you can't taste the freshness of pasta. My dinner came with a free cannoli for dessert. While it was good they should be ashamed as to the size of the serving. It was a mini cannoli about the size of my pinky. There are too many really good Italian restaurants in the area to want to go back.
google avatar

Brian A.

Yelp
The best way to describe this place is a local pizza shop that doesn't serve pizza. And charges a lot more This is not an upscale restaurant- the light up "open" sign in the front window should have been my first warning. They do not serve bread for table - only garlic bread (frozen) and focaccia which you have to pay for. The service was fine nothing wrong with our server at all - hence still tipped 20% Cheese Board - nothing made fresh not even homemade mozzarella, not good at all. Veggie lasagna - taste like a vegi pizza could not tell the difference topped with a "pizza blend" cheese mix Eggplant Pharm - two thick slices of eggplant on top of really thick spaghetti. The spaghetti was cooked perfectly but the eggplant was topped with the same cheese mixture. Again it be fine for a pizza shop on the corner. Still better than Lupo's up the street though No fresh parmesan cheese, they bring over the normal shaker jars you get at a pizza shop - yuk Not our server, but we saw one server with her order pad shoved down the back of her pants walking around. So gross - we would have left if we saw that before we order. Our seats faced the main road so I was forced to look through a window that need a good scrub and cobwebs removals. Again yuk - Locals will probably not come back definitely a tourist restaurant.

Yelp
Awesome Italian food! Had a couple appetizers that were phenomenal, the chicken parm which was HUGE, and a nice piece of Italian cheesecake to top it all off. The drinks were amazing as well and you have to try their espresso martini. Overall, one of the best Italian dinners you can find in Rehoboth. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
The setting was lovely, it looks quite different inside than outside. The staff was delightful. Our food was amazing!

Yelp
My husband and I went with friendsas we were curious for several months about this restaurant..The ambiance is marginal with wood tables and hard wooden chairs. I would give this spot a 1 star..I ordered linguini and clams with garlic and wine.sauce..The clams were extremely small..possibly from a can..Flavoring was bland..my husband and friends eggplant parmesan was cut thick with bland sauce..I will not recommend this new restaurant to family or friends..give it 1 star. Yelp
We are so grateful RWB is walking distance from our home and became our Friday spot. Beautiful place, super nice chill music, and a great menu. The staff is amazing and friendly. The bartenders are superb with wonderful mixology. The food super fresh and tasty. The 3 course fix price menu is simply spectacular. GREAT ADDITION TO REHOBOTH!

Yelp
Had dinner with friends here last night. We had read good reviews from friends and decided to try it. Two stars: * Service was less than attentive. * Had the prix fixed , pasta with marinara sauce- very small portion size, mediocre flavor, came with a salad and cannoli that was finger size.(two bites) *The restaurant was full of servers who also made drinks behind the bar and bused tables. Very inefficient way to staff a restaurant. *The outside seating area presented a traffic problem as the servers came and went with almost every server waiting tables inside and outside. *I watched servers bring entrees from the back room across the restaurant to the regular kitchen, then a few minutes later delivered the same dish to a table , five minutes later. There are Italian restaurants in the area with much better service, large portion sizes and regular bartenders, waiters that have a specific table area, and bus staff. I so wanted to like Red, White and Basil, sadly disappointed.

Yelp
I ordered take-out spaghetti and meatballs along with a Caesar salad. It was absolutely horrible. The sauce was disgusting and bitter. I could only take one bite of it. The salad did not have enough dressing on it. The bread was not fresh. It was basically frozen of bread that you can buy the supermarket and they did not give a nice portion of food.

Yelp
This place should be shut down. Horrible and experience and the food to match. Wouldn't go here if my life depended on it.
