"Redbird prides itself for making as many items from scratch as possible — the rest (tortillas, buns, coffee, and tea) sourced from local bakeries and shops. The approachable menu features burgers, loaded wings, tacos, and Kennebec waffle-cut fries. The loaded pastor wings are coated in al pastor sauce and served with fresh pineapple, roasted Fresno pepper, red onion, and cilantro." - Jackie Tran

Went on a Monday around 4pm and were seated immediately. The service was phenomenal! The bathroom was super clean. The Elote nachos were delicious, margaritas strong and everyone enjoyed their meal. The warm towels were a perfect ending! It was my birthday and we got the cinnamon bread pudding it was sooooo good! This place is great for so many reasons!

6/25/25- A friend recommended this place and since I hadn't been there, we went. Spoiler: it didn't disappoint. We ordered the nachos. When I asked if we should add chicken or steak, even the server said it didn't need it. The nachos were amazing! Not heavy, but light and full of flavor. Can't wait to have them again. I ordered the burger with the green chili on it. I can't remember the name. It was great! My friend had the chicken sandwich, which looked great too. He also ordered some fries, which were good. The service was great and they were very busy for a Wednesday night. Location is the old Swensons. The interior is average, and unfortunately, it gets very loud inside. It was super busy and we were lucky to get one of the last tables at about 6pm. The service was great! Our server was very friendly and on top of getting everything even when I didn't expect more.

If you haven’t tried Redbird, I highly recommend it! The food was fabulous- the nachos were the best we ever had! The tacos were great as well. Our waiter, Julien was outstanding. We can’t wait to come back.

Google
TL;DR Amazing Food! Would go again! Amazing place to go for really delicious food. Went specifically for the quesabirria tacos which turned out so flavorful and better than some others I’ve had around town. Everything we ordered was delicious and the perfect size to share with others. Would definitely go again! Went on a pretty busy night, but there was a good amount of seating in and outdoors with heaters for those outdoors in the cold. Did not have to wait to be seated. Some TVs by the bar for sports if you want to watch and enjoy the food. Service was quick and waiters were very helpful. The only strange thing was that the utensils seem squared off? They work well but it made us laugh as if it was a counter stabbing measure. Still quite a good experience. About 15$ per person or more if you have appetizers and dessert.

It was very busy when we got there. No seating available, so we sat at the bar. Service was so, so. Food was excellent my friend had the Sonoran hamburger and I had the Pollo Asada tacos. Food came fast. We each had a cocktail. She had the blueberry lemon drop and I had a bloody Mary. Drinks were amazing. I would recommend this place, just make a reservation.

After hearing two independent recommendations to visit Redbird, I decided to give it a try. I had dinner Saturday night and it was absolutely incredible. My server, Orlando, was friendly, attentive, and helpful. Despite the restaurant being full, the food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious. I liked it so much that the following day I decided to visit the restaurant again for lunch on Sunday. Once again, the experience was top notch. This time my server was Eden, and like Orlando before her, she was friendly, attentive and helpful, and the food came out even faster! I absolutely cannot recommend this restaurant enough. If you have not been here, you need to do yourself a favor and go try it out! I have the utmost confidence that you will not be disappointed in the food, and if the rest of the servers are as incredible as Orlando and Eden were for me, you will have a fantastic experience. --- Came through Tucson again recently. Ate here a third time, and it was just as good as before. I continue to wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, for both the exemplary service as well as the outstanding food.

Eclectic Flavors & Creative Cocktails at Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar I recently dined at in Tucson, and it was a delightful surprise from start to finish. The menu is a bit eclectic, offering everything from vibrant seafood to loaded fries and savory tacos. We began with the Shrimp Ceviche: blanched sweet pink shrimp in a tangy lime juice marinade, kissed with a Baja chipotle-honey sauce and studded with avocado, jalapeño, cucumber, and red onion. The fresh crunch paired perfectly with the house-made tortilla chips. Next up were the Green Chile Bacon Waffle Fries, a decadent plate loaded with triple cheese sauce, thick-cut bacon, roasted green chiles, soft butter onions, candied sweet peppers, and a finishing ranch drizzle. Each bite was a flavor bomb—spicy, creamy, and slightly sweet all at once. For our main course, we couldn’t resist the Birria Tacos featuring slow-cooked beef, a rich birria consommé, sliced Fresno peppers, pickled onion, and fresh cilantro. They were melt-in-your-mouth tender with just the right kick. The atmosphere at Redbird is lively (admittedly on the louder side), with large garage doors that open to a patio—perfect for letting in that refreshing desert air. The place was packed, so I’m glad we had reservations. Service was attentive despite the bustle, and we were especially impressed by our Smoked Manhattan. A bubble of smoke perched on top of the glass added an interactive, aromatic twist I’ve not seen before. If you’re looking for bold flavors, inventive cocktails, and a high-energy vibe, Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar should be at the top of your list. J.S. 😘

This was my first time here, I like the menu, didn't get the elote thing until I had the nachos. Some of the best nachos ive had. I added Carne asada which was a nice combination. I also ordered the ceviche which was OK and the quesabirria tacos that had a very traditional taste. I think it felt a bit cramped in the dining room, small tight spaces but the service was good and I would go back for the nachos and the drinks.

Yelp
We went here for lunch. This was our first time eating here. Service was Great. The ambience was good. We had the green chili waffle fries. FANTASTIC! We also ordered the crispy Nashville chicken sandwich. GREAT! I only gave it three stars because I am a huge salad person so I ordered the Harvest salad w grilled chicken. I did read the reviews prior to going and read that the salads were not that great BUT I had to try for myself. Yes the reviews were right on. The salad was YUCK. It wasn't the fact of what was on the salad. It was the lettuce itself. They used head lettuce and romaine. STOP using head lettuce please. Replace with fresh greens mixed with romaine. The lettuce was cold and soggy. I am pretty sure they premade part of this salad because the plate and accompanying fork was cold so I guessed they made the salad and placed it in the fridge. Not good. We will go again because everything else we had and some of the other plates coming out of the kitchen were great.

Yelp
I just have to say I was completely impressed with this restaurant! Food was fantastic. Portions are huge and at a good price. Service was fast and had a great atmosphere! Hot towel at the end was a great surprise!

Yelp
This place has definitely become one of my new favorites! The nachos are fantastic, the adult drinks are perfect and staff always super friendly.

Yelp
If you're in Tucson, Arizona, you absolutely must check out Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with warm smiles and a prompt welcome that set the tone for an incredible dining experience. We chose to sit on their beautiful patio, which perfectly complements the vibrant atmosphere of the restaurant. The combination of tasteful decor and a laid-back vibe makes it an ideal spot for relaxation and enjoyment. You can feel the history and passion behind Redbird--this place truly embodies the spirit of Tucson. Now, let's talk about the food and drinks! I kicked off my meal with the Redbird Old Fashioned, and it was nothing short of spectacular. Made with Four Roses Bourbon, Angostura Bitters, cane syrup, and Luxardo cherries, it was then smoked table-side with wood chips--a delightful touch that added a unique flavor profile to this classic cocktail. For my entree, I indulged in the Blue Mushroom Burger, and wow, it was an explosion of flavors! The combination of cremini red wine mushrooms, soft butter onions, and blue cheese crumbles was heavenly, and the blue cheese sauce took it to another level. Paired with their crispy waffle fries, this meal was nothing short of perfection. Overall, the service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the ambiance was inviting. Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar has definitely earned its five stars, and I can't wait to return for another unforgettable meal! PS The warm towels are nice touch!

Yelp
Atmosphere- got a seat quickly, vibey place! The seats were a tad bit close together but not too bad. Service- quick service the whole time, server was nice! Food- Ordered the Crispy Nashville Arizona sandwich And the Polo Asada Taco. The sandwich didn't blow me away but we got sauce on the side so maybe shouldn't have done that. Taco was good!

Yelp
I definitely recommend making a reservation to this restaurant because it gets busy fast! The staff were very accommodating with our reservation, my fiancé and I are in the middle of wedding planning and we have implemented wedding planning date night. We go out to restaurants with my laptop to plan our wedding. We made a reservation and requested a four top so we would have room to wedding plan while we also ate. The staff were very understanding and open to this idea. Our server was also really friendly. The restaurant lives up to its name of being a scratch kitchen. Everything is handmade down to the ranch and the ketchup, which were really good. We ordered a smorgasbord of options. We ordered the pretzel as an appetizer which was hot out of the oven. We had a blueberry cocktail which was delicious And two entrées. My fiancé really liked grilled the chicken sandwich. The dessert was a cinnamon bread pudding, which was super yummy, but be prepared to be outsugared, I almost wish it came with a side of milk. I would say that the strawberry lemonade that I got was too tart so I would avoid it. Another thing I really enjoyed about this restaurant. Is they give you hot moist towels to clean your hands at the end of your meal I thought that was really classy.

Shari D.

Yelp
Really good food! The nachos were unbelievable. The tacos were amazing, filled up and generous. I had the harvest salad and it was okay but not special. Stick with tacos and burgers. Service was really good and friendly. I thought it was a bit loud but still enjoyable.

Brian M.

Yelp
Solid fare in a lively atmosphere. Great smash style burgers, really good Nashville Chicken sandwich and a wide variety of wings. Excellent service and lots of parking.

Ed H.

Yelp
We had an amazing dinner at Redbird Scratch Kitchen. Started with Cadillac Margaritas and salsa with chips. Salsa was amazing, mild, medium and hot all of them were very flavorful. Then our Tacos came, we had Grilled shrimp, Carne Asada and a birria taco. They were delicious. The waitress brought us steaming hot towels to wash up with, that was a very nice touch Fun place and can't wait to go back when it's a little warmer and sit on the outdoor patio.

Mary S.

Yelp
Wow, what a gem! Checked this place out for lunch on a Saturday with my mom and we loved it. The atmosphere here is wonderful. Lovely murals on the walls; gallery walls featuring photos of cardinals, the business owners, and local floral and fauna; big garage style doors creating an indoor/outdoor feel; and a gorgeous bar with lovely red lights. Whoever designed the interior did a fantastic job. It's not a large space but it's extremely well appointed. The bar has three TVs so you can also catch a game very easily from almost every seat in the house. The menu features lots of burger options and my mom went with the classic; all burgers come with two smashed patties and wow it was huge! Perfectly cooked and seasoned too! We got a small side of the waffle fries and I got 3 tacos--the carne asada, the grilled shrimp, and the chiles Rojas. Delicious! All of the items the tables next to us ordered also looked sooo good! Service was good and perhaps my favorite part was the hot towels they bring you at the end of the meal. Their food is so good and juicy it's definitely needed and appreciated and such a nice unique touch! I can't wait to come back and try some is their other items! This place is perking up this shopping center in a much needed way.

Yelp
I've been wanting to check out Redbird Scratch Kitchen, so my friend and I stopped by on a Monday night for dinner. We arrived during happy hour (Monday-Friday 3-6) and enjoyed the garlic confit pretzel appetizer. The soft pretzels came with a triple cheese sauce and Dijon honey mustard. It also had candied peppers and roasted Jalapeños on the side which was a unique touch. For my meal, I enjoyed the small Mac n cheese with grilled chicken. The small was a big enough portion for me to have leftovers to go! My friend really enjoyed the Taco salad with grilled chicken. It's fun that they give you warm towels to wipe your hands at the end, although neither of us had meals which we used our hands. I suggest making a reservation because even on a Monday night it was very busy! Overall, it was an upbeat atmosphere, delicious food and good service.

Cori G.

Yelp
We found this place on Yelp, as always now, looking for Mac 'n' Cheese for the little. The other food looked good, so why not? Immediately, the staff was welcoming and nice. The location is small, but it was busy, with only a few tables left available. We were sat with our menus to look over, they have a very cute kids meal with crayons. Our server, David, promptly arrived to get drink orders. He also asked if we wanted any appetizers or if we wanted to get our son's order in first so it came out sooner. Appreciated that. We ordered the chips and salsa with guac, and my son's macaroni. Bonus points that he asked if we wanted straws for our waters instead of just leaving them on the table. The chips and salsa was stellar. The salsa verde (medium) and spicy roja (hot) were my favorites, but they're all very flavorful. The guac was also good. We lamented that it felt like there weren't enough chips, but David swung by with a perfectly timed chip refill. Amazing. For food, I ordered the Cobb Salad, and my husband got the Sonoran Burger. The Cobb salad was great. Sweet peppers, perfectly cooked bacon, sharp cheddar cheese cubes, and delicious ranch dressing. My husband said his burger was very good as well. At the end, they even brought us warm wet towels to clean our hands! The cocktails looked good, and I'm sad my day's plans didn't include a drink. Overall, a great experience. I'd come back here... if I lived here.

Yelp
Dropped in for happy hour (3-6p) and ordered an Old Fashioned (just $6, normally $13, but the whisky is a little bit cheaper than the full priced version). It came with an unexpected fire show too! Also ordered the Queso Fundido with chorizo -$2 off, the garlic pretzels -$2 off, and the chicken tacos -$2 off. All were outstanding except for the tacos. The chicken was meager in quantity and bordering on dry. The Old Fashioned had a Smokey flavor (naturally) and was actually quite strong. Atmosphere is nice, though expect to shout to be heard. Staff is super friendly and attentive. And bathrooms are elegant and clean. Parking can be tight but there's plenty in this large strip mall. We plan to return to try one of their entree burgers which is their staple.

Tyler K.

Yelp
Wow! Redbird provides a refreshing and rejuvenating experience every time I visit. The word 'restaurant' comes from the French word restaurer, meaning 'to restore'--literally, 'to bring back to a former state.' Redbird truly 'restores' me, leaving me feeling relaxed and satisfied after every meal. They have carefully crafted a unique dining experience, considering every detail--from the menu and ambiance to the warm towel provided for cleansing after a delicious feast. Redbird is easily one of the best spots to go to in Tucson.

Cliff K.

Yelp
contemporary restaurant the focuses on food that modern young people enjoy. Smash burgers, wings and street tacos all Made in house with a contemporary flare. I have been twice. There bathrooms were clean and they also have a nice seating area indoors and out doors. The service was fast and efficient. It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. The parking is easy and plentiful. I'm sure the place can be very busy and parking might be a hassle. That just means it's good. When I was talking with the bartender and the manager, I found that they used local ingredients and try to source local meats when ever possible. I went twice for a late lunch and it wasn't that crowded but I'm sure during regular times it would be. I had street tacos 1 time and a burger. The other time and I had a craft cocktail. I had a Manhattan, one time and a Margarita 1 time, everything was delicious and good. A great fun place to explore.

Bob M.

Yelp
Decent bar food. Smash burgers are their specialty and they are pretty good. The server was very friendly and attentive. The decor is modern and clean. We were there on a Friday for an early dinner and the place was LOUD. Normal conversation was difficult. The patio seating looked quite nice but the west exposure probably makes it too hot most afternoons.

Jesse P.

Yelp
What an amazing place! Lots of parking and plenty of seating available inside. The restaurant was nice and clean inside. I had an amazing server named Ylianna who was very friendly and helpful when it came to ordering. She went above and beyond and provided excellent customer service but most importantly she made me as a customer feel important. She recommend the elote nachos with birria. They were amazing! So much flavor. I also got a burger called "die in your sleep" 3x3 burger and had to take half home it was so filling and loaded! I also enjoyed my passionfruit iced tea and was given one to go for the road!

Rob A.

Yelp
I'm busy Sunday went to Redbird had a lovely helpful server, Natalia. The loss of a star is for overcharges on the bill not a fan of unannounced prices. What's on the menu is what you should pay. I hope they rectify this soon. That said I had the red bird chicken sandwich, which was tasty but not unusual. I'd give them another try.

Eniola I.

Yelp
This was the first time eating at this place, and the service was good. The waitress was kind and helpful, and they were quick to seat us. The food was a lot and I had the Sonoran burger, and it was yummy. However, I suggest that the restaurant include the fries with burgers rather than paying it separately as a side. Also, I enjoyed the strawberry lemontini mocktail as well.

Cynthia T.

Yelp
I live the newer trend of scratch restaurants using high quality ingredients and care to make delicious food. So, when RedBird popped up at lunch time I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is vibrant and aesthetically pleasing and the music the perfect volume for the background so diners aren't shouting over the music. It wasn't overly loud and I was able to enjoy my solo meal. I had 3 different protein tacos - birria with consommé, breaded shrimp and pollo asado - they were soooo good! The medium green chili salsa was flavorful and the hot chili was the perfect heat for some that wants a good kick without hating themselves later. I would totally recommend giving RedBird a try! It's definitely going on my shortlist of favorite places to eat

Richard B.

Yelp
As you can see, I have reviewed 1,200 plus restaurants and this is one of my favorite newbie restaurants I have ever reviewed. A must visit; an exciting addition to the vibrant restaurant scene in Tucson. Dive deep in the chicken wings, augmented with a salad. Corn nachos: the fricking bomb! Would give this 7 stars. A team waitstaff, imaginative mixology, fun music!!!!!

Katharina F.

Yelp
The food was very good! The service was quick and our waitress very friendly and kind. The ambiance was also very nice.

Clythie C.

Yelp
We love this hip, fun and delicious restaurant! Most recently we were there on a busy Friday night but we had made a reservation and were seated right away. Service was TOP NOTCH. Portions are large, fresh and tasty. The green chile waffle fries are living rent free in my dreams now. Wow they were SO good. And the taco salad was crisp and wonderful. We added fried chicken pieces on top and it was a delightful meal. We will be back again on our next visit to Oro Valley.

Audrey M.

Yelp
After a few great runs, we have been hit with a few terrible runs. A month ago we came in for lunch. We were promptly seated and promptly forgotten. It was busy, but not a single person acknowledged us. No hello, we will be right with you, no smile, nothing. Waitstaff walked by and I kept turning around to look at a group talking by the kitchen. After 15 min, we got up and walked out. Nobody said a word. Since then, it seems like everyone hates their jobs. They aren't helpful, friendly, or engaging. It's really odd. No enthusiasm at all. The food is always good, but I'll have a hard time wanting to return after the last few trips.

Spencer N.

Yelp
Been twice now and loved the food both times! They get extremely busy even on weeknights, so be prepared to wait a little bit. Service could be better but we are patient people and will be back again.

Jessica P.

Yelp
This place was awesome! I've been wanting to try it and happened to be on this side of town so I went for dinner. I ordered the Nashville Arizona chicken sandwich and street corn. My date had the buffalo chicken sandwich and fries. These portions are HUGE! Food tastes great and we had leftovers for lunch the next day. Waiter was very attentive and at the end they provided hot towels to clean our hands which really elevated the experience. Will be back!!

Robert C.

Yelp
This place was absolutely fantastic. They had a wonderful patio that accommodated our full-size Poodle and the staff was really understanding of the dog. We had delicious hamburgers, macaroni, cheese, and waffle fries every dish was homemade, fresh and mouthwatering. We will definitely be back again. This place is on our short list.

Laura P.

Yelp
Amazing food! Tacos were very fresh and all the salsas were delicious. We were visitors in Tucson and were so glad we trusted the reviews and tried it.

Jacob L.

Yelp
Incredible burger and ambience . Very lively and nice atmosphere . I enjoyed this restaurant

Nicolette R.

Yelp
Went out to lunch with some friends and just wanted to get the word out about Redbird Scratch Kitchen + Bar It was absolutely AMAZING!!!!! 2 of us ordered the elote nachos and other friend ordered the Early bird burger! Sooo freaking good! Our server was absolutely amazing as well! 5 out of 5 stars for sure! Definitely check it out if you haven't yet! Also tried the loaded fries with carne asada and strawberry lemonade. Interior is beautiful, staff was amazing, got food quickly. Been here 4x now. Will be back again! Address: 6444 N oracle rd

Yelp
I picked up a black bean burger with honey mustard tonight and it was delicious. I was surprised by how busy the restaurant was but they got the to go order ready very quick.

Jessica P.

Yelp
The service here is definitely 5 stars. Our waitress was really nice and attentive. Food and drinks came out really fast. We went during happy hour and it had some good deals on food and drinks. I got the filthy bird and my husband got the old fashioned, both were delicious. The martini was shaken at the table before it was served and the old fashioned has an option to be smoked at the table. We ordered the shrimp ceviche and pretzel to share. The shrimp ceviche was really good and decent portion with medium size pieces of shrimp. The pretzel was too salty for us, we had to scrape off the salt. The garlic confit was good but could have been softer to where it spread easily. My husband ordered the crispy Nashville-Arizona chicken sandwich. He thought the spice was good, could have had a bit more. It just comes with the sandwich, the fries are extra. I had the blue mushroom burger. It was a double patty smash burger which was juicy but even with the blue cheese crumbles and blue cheese sauce I don't think the flavor came through as much as it should have. The restaurant is decorated nicely and has some bright pops of color. It's a decent size with about 3-4 high tops and bar seating, then has standard seating as well as patio seating. There's also 3 TVs at the bar to watch the games and the screens are visible from most of the tables in the restaurant.

Jennie T.

Yelp
Thanks to Yelp recommending this spot, my partner & I decided to try it out. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and didn't have a reservation, but we were seated promptly. The place was a little snug, with my seat close to another guest who was behind me, so I just needed to be more careful when getting out of my chair. There was also AC which cooled us off from the heat, but I will make a mental note to bring a light sweater next time as it was a tad too cold sitting in my gym leggings & thin short sleeve shirt. We had a kind server who suggested for us to try the Elote Nachos and the Crispy Nashville- Arizona Chicken Sandwich for our first visit. While her advice was appreciated, we wanted to pick something else. We ordered the Queso Fundido with mushrooms for our starter (the mushrooms can be replaced with chorizo), and my partner ordered the shrimp tacos for himself. As for me, I was curious to try their Sonoran Burger and asked the waitress how spicy it was- given that I can't handle anything above mild. She claimed that it wasn't spicy at all, even with the green chiles, and I'm happy to say she was correct! Everything came out so well, but my burger was the standout. So easy to chew and well-cooked, I didn't take the chilis off either. It was a lunch I would love to try again. I had a bite of the shrimp tacos and they were okay, though not outstanding like how I found my dish. The Queso Fundido was good too, although it was served to us last, which was strange since it's an appetizer and we predicted it to be given to us before either of our main meals. We were given hot towels after we were done eating, which is a smart move because a lot of these entrees are hand-held, and it makes the restaurant stand out in terms of hygiene. This Latin-inspired location is great to take friends & family for a nice lunch, as it is a taste of the culture that Tucson has to offer.

Kim L.

Yelp
Cute place and nice comfort food menu - stopped in with a friend and had a beer and the chiles rajas tacos which were flavorful, and I loved, loved the elote inside. I thought it was kind of funny that I got an entrée and got 3 small tacos, while my friend ordered the elote nachos which was on the appetizer list, but it was huge! I was still a bit hungry when I got home, and she took food home with her. I guess the nachos are a shareable appetizer. It was nice enough for us to sit outside on the cute patio, but the inside was also really cute and had lots of big TV's. Service was good - fast and friendly. I'll have to bring my husband back as he loves taco salads and nachos! Lot's of great menu items - it was hard to make a choice!

Lauren R.

Yelp
This is my second time coming here with a large party (12 people) Service is great, their drinks are fantastic, and food flavorful. Drinks: their gold martinis (comes with dried pineapple), blueberry lemon drop, Manhattan, and smoked Old Fashion are all crowd favorites Food: Chorizo queso (spicy), Birria Tacos, burgers, and Elote Nachos stood out as the best!

Matt D.

Yelp
Overall: 3/5 (nothing great, nothing bad) Service: 5/5 (great staff, attentive, kind) Food: 4/5 (see below) Ambience: 3/5 (American strip mall aesthetic. I'm surprised others are rating this upscale) Value: 3/5 Looking for a quick bite to eat before heading back to Phoenix. Burgers were on the brain and Redbird was highly rated. We made a reservation on Yelp! When we arrived, we were promptly seated on the patio. Our server was attentive and kind. The burgers are big. Two quarter-pound patties. The other person in my party ordered a specialty burger off the menu, which they liked very much. I ordered the black bean veggie burger (which comes with one patty, no cheese, and only a single specialty topping) and is oddly more expensive a meat burger. I opted to add green chilis (up-charge). The the chilis were not spicy at all, and only mildly flavorful. The special Redbird burger sauce is a slightly watered down typical thousand island-esque burger sauce. Burgers do not come with a side. We added a small order of waffle fries. They were good, what you'd expect a waffle fry to be. The ranch that we asked to also be added (another charge), was good. Very garlicky. Overall, the meal was fine. The buns were buttery, the food was tasty but not remarkable or memorable. It was an easy place to get a good burger in a fairly convenient area.

Kenzie G.

Yelp
Lemonade was perfect, street corn perfect, the chicken burger perfect. Truly some of the best food I have had in Tucson. House made lemonade is to die for.

Desiree B.

Yelp
The location is great but the parking lot can get very crowded. The servers were very friendly and attentive, and the food was good. The Mexican Candy Martini was very yummy, the waffle fries were pretty good, and the grilled chicken sandwich was yumm. I would go back, and the only reason I gave it them 4 stars is because I have had better sandwiches with fries included in the price. I know this is a common trend anymore but yeah include a side in the price. I will be back to try a few more items.

Margaret M.

Yelp
Menu didn't offer what we were hungry for-but highly recommended by our younger friends. They were busy so service was a bit slow

Caryn P.

Yelp
We were very excited to try Redbird. But after we got seated by the kitchen...it was a very mediocre experience. And 2 of us left the Redbird still hungry! The food was just ok.

Ashley C.

Yelp
Another Sonoran restaurant Week meal (yess I was out every night :) ! This one was fantastic and my favorite Sonoran restaurant week meal that I tried! The Mocktail initially I thought was tart and watery however, after mixing upon my friends advice, I found it was perfect! The taco salad was absolutely everything. It was so tasty so flavorful, I really cannot say enough good things about it. The mail came with tacos and which you could choose the meat. I chose Pollo Asada and was not disappointed. I also really liked the green salsa that came with it and found it to be very fresh. The dessert is the only thing that was not a slam dunk for me. I'm not the biggest fan of peaches, so it may just be me but my friend was not a fan of hers either. It had a bread pudding like consistency as well, which is also not my taste. I feel they should have kept their normal dessert, even if it was just to share and that would have been a 10/10 menu! The service was great and very hospitable. I love that they brought crayons and the coloring kids menu for the two toddlers that dined with us.

Yelp
Everything was great! We were seated on time with a very attentive server. We ordered a variety of tacos, ceviche, and the corn side. Everything was delicious!

Yelp
Soooo good. Also very pricey. Tacos and nachos shouldn't be $20.00. But I'd eat there again in a heartbeat. Food and service are 4 star.

Yelp
The food was really tasty! We came for happy hour and had the best margaritas! we got the pretzels as an appetizer and they were delicious... warm and salty and so good with the mustard and cheese! I got the Sonoran burger which was good but I probably wouldn't get it again, too many conflicting flavors but the smash burger patties were very good. We tried the waffle fries and they were good but with so much food we took them home. Love the warm towels they bring you after you eat to clean up! Overall I'm looking forward to going back and trying some other things and definitely going back for the margs! Service was great, very fast and the restaurant has outdoor seating when it starts to get a little cooler out!

Yelp
Reserved an early table for 2 for the Valentine's Day dinner. We had been to Redbird twice before and was impressed with the format, food, etc. The casual spot was transformed into a high end supper club for the night. 4 course meal, no substitution and buy your own booze-$130/person. Our tab w/o tip was $380. This was our highest tab for 2-ever...and there was no bread! The place loaded up after 5:30 but we were not rushed at all. I don't want to write an essay so let's just say it was the best meal we've had in Tucson and for me, one of the best in memory-from the appetizer to the salad to the entree along with the lobster Mac and cheese through the dessert-all a 10. Even at that price we can't wait for the next event--it was that good.

Yelp
We have eaten there twice and probably will not go back. Wings are good and burgers as well but service both times was sub par. First time, we were seated but never saw a waiter, while others seated after us were waited on. After saying something to the hostess we're waited by an over whelmed server. Second time, we made a reservation but the service again was bad. messed up our order but the waiter looked shocked and seems pissed off we asked him to correct it. Also, was unhappy that we asked for a refill on a soda. For what you pay, I hope for a little better service. Place is very loud nothing to absorb sound. I doubt we will return.

Yelp
Thoroughly enjoyed it! Great service! The menu has stuff to eat. Had Queso Fundido melted Oaxacan cheese, roasted green chiles & corn, with your choice of chorizo or onion jam mushrooms, served with flour tortillas and salsa trio. Very good! I would eat it again. Early Bird Burger thick-cut bacon, pasture-raised fried egg, crispy waffle fries, American cheese, Redbird sauce, lettuce, tomato. Asked for waffle fries on the side. A type of "double" smash burger with nice crust or char. Whatever you want to call it. Very good. Starters, tacos, salads, burgers, cocktails, etc. good flavor.

Yelp
We had tried to go here a few months back and were put off by the 45-60 minute wait. This time we remembered to get on the list before we headed over and so were able to be seated as soon as we got there. Everything we ate tasted very fresh. We started with shrimp ceviche which was really juicy and flavorful and the shrimp were not soggy (which can happen with mass produced ceviche). My companion had a blue mushroom burger which was incredible (and I will definitely get one the next time we come). The meat was tender and juicy and they had just the right ratio of burger to blue cheese. I had the harvest salad with grilled shrimp on it and it had all the flavors. Finally we had cinnamon roll bread pudding. It comes out with cinnamon toast cereal on it and I was initially dubious but it actually provided a nice crunchy contrast to the softer bread pudding. That being said, we shared it- I would never have gotten through a whole piece on my own due to the sweetness. All in all a lovely meal- would come again, as long as we make reservations in advance . Life is too short to wait in long lines for a table.
