We loved the tasting menu food and experience. First, the reception was awesome: the staff saw us outside and came out to welcome us. They were very welcoming and explained everything about the menu, and offered some alternatives to the tasting menu we had chosen.
When it came to the food, everything was delicious. To start with, the amouche bouche introduced and prepared by Chef Dan was amusing. We also enjoyed how he interacted with us while preparing it. The final dish was a party of flavours in the mouth - we loved it. The appetizers were equally amusing and flavourful. I especially loved the Hokkaido Scallop and black Cod. As for the mains, my partner and I had different ones: he got the Award Winning Lamb, and I got the Smoked Duck Breast. I got to try both, and both were tender and delicious; however, I can see why the lamb won a prize ;) Finally, the desserts were the cherry on top, where the smoked ice cream dazzled. We accompanied our food with cocktails, which impressed us. I was especially thankful for the Pisco Sour they gave us (on the house) upon Chef Dan learning I was from Peru.
I totally recommend visiting this restaurant when in Chiang Mai as the food and experience are unique. As for me, I would definitely be back.
