We loved the tasting menu food and experience. First, the reception was awesome: the staff saw us outside and came out to welcome us. They were very welcoming and explained everything about the menu, and offered some alternatives to the tasting menu we had chosen. When it came to the food, everything was delicious. To start with, the amouche bouche introduced and prepared by Chef Dan was amusing. We also enjoyed how he interacted with us while preparing it. The final dish was a party of flavours in the mouth - we loved it. The appetizers were equally amusing and flavourful. I especially loved the Hokkaido Scallop and black Cod. As for the mains, my partner and I had different ones: he got the Award Winning Lamb, and I got the Smoked Duck Breast. I got to try both, and both were tender and delicious; however, I can see why the lamb won a prize ;) Finally, the desserts were the cherry on top, where the smoked ice cream dazzled. We accompanied our food with cocktails, which impressed us. I was especially thankful for the Pisco Sour they gave us (on the house) upon Chef Dan learning I was from Peru. I totally recommend visiting this restaurant when in Chiang Mai as the food and experience are unique. As for me, I would definitely be back.

Redbox Restaurant remains my all time favorite dinner celebration spot in Chiang Mai! Went for my birthday during my 1st trip a few years ago and have not found a better spot yet. The courses with foie gras and caviar still make my mouth water, drooling just thinking about it. Beautiful atmosphere and very hospitable staff, and we received a warm welcome from the chef as well. Highly recommend you treat yourself to this Thai Malaysian Michelin STAR dining delight 🤤🥰🫶

Had a great experience at Redbox Restaurant. Me and my wife wanted to tried something new when we were in Chiang Mai last week holiday. So my wife searched randomly and found RedBox Restaurant. We made our dinner reservations, and it was a pleasure experience to had dinner here. The foods, cocktails, wine pairing were amazed me and my wife. The professionalism of their hospitality, good job for the front team as well !!! I mean, we went many semi or fine dining places during our holiday in our lives… but this one is touched us. Worth it to try! And, next they are change the menu’s every 6 months, so next month December will be different menu set up.

I truly enjoyed the Christmas dinner at Redbox. It is top-notch fine dining in Chiang Mai. The concept evolves every year and is always incredible and full of surprises. The tasting notes were beautifully balanced, the flavors exceptional, and the presentation absolutely fabulous. The service staff were warm, friendly, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the entire experience even more memorable.

We walked in with high expectations but walked out with disappointment. The starters were good and set up a high bar. However, the signature dish, chicken skewers which I didn’t manage to get a photo, was raw on the last piece of chicken. I even asked the waitress if it is normal to be raw but he said it should be well done and cooked. How can you ever imagine to be served uncooked food in a Michelin’s recommended restaurant. 🙂 The chef mentioned that 80% of their customers are foreigners. The price of the meal is extremely high in Chiang mai (we paid 10771 thb. Tea or coffee are not included on the tasting menu.

We were hungry and so we googled. We went with no expectations. Nestled in a quiet road opposite Maya Mall, we were their first guests of the day. Upon opening the door, then we realise it was an award winning Michelin restaurant. We went for their tasting menu,couldn’t drink as I had to wake up early. The moment we sat down, the wait staffs were extremely friendly and courteous which makes it very welcoming. Every dish was explained thoroughly and in detail. Every single dish and drinks was delectable and scrumptious! Though on the slightly pricier side, it is well worth every penny spent. Words cannot describe the taste at all. A very unique dining experience you cannot miss in Chiang Mai. Kudos and Special thanks to Chef Dan and his team for making my birthday a pleasantly wonderful surprise! We hope to come back again in future. Meanwhile, keep your creative juices flowing and continue to curate innovative cuisine.
