October: Our Most Exciting New Hotels

"The Soho House brand, as you might suspect, was born in a more central neighbourhood. But in the intervening years, Shoreditch has evolved into London’s hippest area – a centre for the arts in particular – making it an obvious choice for another Soho House club and hotel: Redchurch Townhouse." - The MICHELIN Guide UK Editorial Team

10 Things to Do in London in Fall 2018 - AFAR

"A 37-room Shoreditch hotel that opened in October 2018 across from the existing Shoreditch House; the decor leans retro while the art program showcases East London artists under 40, it includes an outpost of Cecconi’s, and non-members can both eat and stay here." - Lyndsey Matthews

Really nice hotel. I would stay here again when I come to London. The bedding and pillows are very comfortable, had the best sleep here. The room decor is beautiful. I really like the complimentary cookies provided everyday. I enjoyed having tea with cookies in my room. Had a nice chat with the front desk staff Lijana at my checkout. Very pleasant stay!

It's going to be very difficult to sleep anywhere else because the quality of the place and the service are incredible! My room was very, very well furnished, with everything you need to feel at home! The products are great, the radio on when you enter the room, the lavender spray on the pillow! Everything is incredible, thank you again!

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. It’s a little farther flung within London but it’s in a trendy area, on a quiet street, and there’s an overground stop about 2 minutes away- you can be just about anywhere within 20 minutes. ||The attention to detail in this hotel is lovely. There’s excellent amenities in the bathroom including cowshed in the shower- the shower pressure is VERY good, the bed is comfortable and has about 800 pillows, which I personally prefer. ||I stayed in the room alone, and it was a good size for a single person. I imagine it might have been a little cramped if you have more than one suitcase? Not an issue for me. ||The a/c was arctic when I came in, which in July was much appreciated. Good closet space, affordable crisps and such in the room, and free tea/milk/cookies, which made it so nice to wake up. They also have a turndown service which was pleasant to come back to. ||The decor was very cute, and while I wish the nightstands had a little more room for a glass of water and my glasses, that’s a small annoyance. ||There are some great restaurants close by, and I wish I could have explored more. ||I moved on to a different hotel in London during my trip and honestly, I regretted it. Should have come back to Redchurch.

I had a great stay. What I love about the Soho House group is that you can invariably guarantee a fantastically comfortable bed, fab array of Cowshed bathroom products, and multitude of handy provisions such as hair straighteners, toothbrush, razor etc. My Tiny room was, as anticipated, pretty compact, but still, a lovely, light, cheery space to spend time in, and very peaceful. The location is great for exploring Shoreditch, the tube only about 3 minutes walk, and the area offers multiple, trendy dining and shopping opportunities. There’s also a Pyscle spinning studio right next door if you fancy a spot of exercise. The hotel doesn’t have a bar or lounge/workspace like many others in the group, apart from a teeny area around the reception desk, but there is a Cecconi’s restaurant on-site, serving breakfast through to dinner. We used it for breakfast and food and service was good. Check-in/out was efficient and super friendly from the very marvellous, very charismatic, Marvin.|Soho House/Friend members can use the facilities of Shoreditch House,

Staff were very attentive and service was superb. It was my fiancés birthday and we received wine in the room with a note as well as some fizz on arrival. AMAZING array of toiletries and skincare and vast choice in the minibar. As expected the decor was beautiful and they had thought of every possible thing you may need for your stay. Great location too with lots of coffee shops and transport nearby.

One of my favorite houses I think. Not a single thing wasn’t thought of in the rooms, even though I had the Tiny since I was staying for three nights only. THE BED 😭☁️ It’s tucked into a little side street with wooden doors and discreet signage. It’s a short walk from all my favorite Shoreditch restaurants, cafes and shops. I love it here.

Stayed for 1 night, could have stayed longer.||Cozy room - big enough for two, amazingly comfortable bed had a great sleep.|Bathroom small but fully functional and great rain shower with all the CowShed products and extras you would need if you forget anything (toothpaste, earplugs, creams, etc)||Great sleep - nice and quiet - noisy fan in bathroom which seems to be on a sensor so sounds like its always on but does eventually switch off once the door is closed.||Front of house staff warm and welcoming - thank you for the anniversary wine!||Only minus was on entering room (first floor) above the restaurant there was a slight smell of food but that disappeared once the aircon was circulating. TV channels didnt work but could stream from our devices.
