Redd - Review - Les Halles - Paris - The Infatuation

"Type A cheese board lovers should reserve a table at this cozy wine bar right off boisterous rue Montorgueil. Here, you can build your own planche of one, five, or ten ingredients from a list of expertly sourced cheeses and charcuteries, not to mention vegetable add-ons like marinated artichokes. While the boards come with an endlessly refillable basket of baguette, you’ll want to add a tapa or two if the visit needs to double as dinner, and the gorgonzola tartines are excellent, draped with luscious lardo. Pair your choices with a glass or bottle of exquisitely sourced crus at a range of prices. If you can’t choose, the three-glass flight is a great way to make some discoveries." - Emily Monaco

I have adored every cozy, delicious evening I have spent at REDD - so much so that last week I hosted part of my birthday celebration here as I wanted my friends to see it too. The charcuterie and cheese is delicious, and every bottle of wine was local, wonderful and unique. The owner - the lovely Marketa - and staff are kind, accommodating, know so much about wine and very welcoming. A favorite, favorite spot in Paris, couldn't recommend more highly.

Lovely little romantic wine bar on a side street. We made a reservation, and were seated right away by the very friendly waiter. We asked for a light red wine, and a combination (pick 5) of cheese, charcuterie, and antipasti of their recommendation to accompany the wine. Their recommendations were excellent (especially the artichoke hearts), and we really enjoyed ourselves. We ended up getting a few glasses of wine each, and two rounds of the “pick 5” charcuterie/cheese/antipasti. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

Great place for a fine wine and tasting experience! Excellent wine, tried an orange wine and we paired it with cheeses and meats. Good music and tranquil vibes, a must!

We had the wine tasting and got three glasses of very good wines from regional producers in France. We also tried the plate with 5 typical products , and the cheese was exceptionally good. As well I recommend the dried tomatoes with olives. The team from Redd was very friendly and had a lot of patience for my awful French :) and explained very well the story behind each of the wines from the tasting. All in all a great experience for wine lovers. Santé! 🍷

A cosy bar with a very welcoming atmosphere. The food was delicious and the wine was excellent with reasonable prices. There was also the option of wine tasting which is very interesting and I definitely recommend especially for people who are not familiar with wine culture. I loved this wine bar and I will come back to visit in my next trip to Paris!!!😊

An unmissable wine bar that’s easily missable. Tucked away, but felt like the definition of hidden gem. A thoughtful and amazing selection of wines, a wide range of options to snack on, and a lively and homely atmosphere. The level of detail we got about our wines was incredible and the staff were warm, friendly, and took their time to make sure had everything we needed. Would have gone every night if we could’ve.

The ideal place to enjoy French wines, cheeses, and charcuterie. The place is quite small, so I recommend making a reservation. Everything was delicious, I loved it!

This small, cleanly designed space just off the very busy path of Rue Montorgueil is filled with expertly curated wine and food. On each visit I’ve had wines that were new to me and advice when I’ve asked for it. I recommend considering a wine flight if you are wondering what to try. I try to visit each time I’m in Paris.
