"Redd’s in Rozzie was a restaurant operated by Charlie Redd. It closed in mid-July due to proposed changes to the city's liquor licenses that affected the value of his investment in the license." - Dana Hatic

I love when I make it to Redd's for brunch. I usually get the pancakes with a side of grits. So yummy. The pancakes are also really good!

Food is good in gerneral, servers were friendly although not very attentive. We went at a busy time, will try again in the future if in the area.

Love this place. The food (much of which is local) is always very fresh and the menu inventive. I have been for dinner many times and brunch once. The cocktail menu is creative though the beer list is really what draws me. I usually don't like to sit outside but on a nice evening, their patio is secluded and spacious enough that I enjoy it. The staff is always friendly, attentive, and food comes out fast. Do not neglect to leave room for their amazing pecan pie!!!

Hands down my favorite restaurant. A comfortable and friendly atmosphere with unbeatable food. Whether you're looking for the best burger in town (now finally on the menu full-time!), a modern twist on a southern classic like paella or seafood mixed grill, or the always surprising (and surprisingly delicious) daily specials where the kitchen lets their imagination run wild, you will be coming back. A great patio and bar staff tops it all off. It is truly difficult to justify going anywhere else for dinner (oh, and did I mention brunch???).

I'm an adventurous consumer of food and drink. With the selection of beers and Duck and Pig Hearts made my experience at Redd's a great one. Honestly never thought I'd eat hearts, but I did and they were great. The outdoor area was great and the staff were incredibly friends. I'd highly recommend.

There's really no other choice for brunch in Rozzie. I went to Sugar and it was fine, but one time I went back and found a long wait. After finding Redd's in Rozzie on Yelp I went there instead. The food is better and there's never been a wait when I've gone. Their Carolina brand of Southern isn't my favorite (I prefer Texas/Louisiana Southern), but they execute nearly everything really well. I have yet to eat something there I didn't love. If you do get brunch, you must start off with one of their giant sticky buns. Split it with someone. Very worth it. Wait staff can be on the slow side. I wish they were a little more affordable. But they're very casual. And I wish I lived a little closer. They have a great bar, it'd be a great place to walk to in the evening.

Redd's really made our Saturday. We decided to try somewhere new and we were not disappointed. I had the mussels special and it was spectacular. They were out of my beer of choice, but the bartender suggested something else from Maine and it was perfect. My husband and I hung out for a bit and found the people and the atmosphere very welcoming and fun. We have been back a few times and each time has been a consistently good experience.

This is one of the best restaurants in Boston and my favorite. It feels like you are eating a home cooked heart warming delicious meal in Charley's dining room. The chicken and waffles are tasty. The desserts are scrumptious and the drinks are strong and perfectly complement the meal. Over the years, Redd's has been our only place for brunch and it is so incredibly baby friendly. I love that Charley greets you as you come in or check in on you during the meal. Redd's is where you go for a personalized meal experience with a chef that has an amazing attention to detail and where fresh, high quality ingredients are a focus. My baby boy loves your home made sausage patties.
