Google
Stopped by Redemption for some bar food and it was a great experience overall. I ordered the salted pretzel and a flatbread pizza — both hit the spot. The pretzel was warm, soft, and perfectly salted, and the flatbread had a nice balance of flavor with a crisp crust. The vibe was casual and fun, perfect for hanging out with friends over drinks and food. Service was friendly and quick, even with a busy crowd. The only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that while everything was tasty, I think the menu could use a few more unique bar food options. Still, I’d definitely come back again for the atmosphere, good bites, and solid service.

Ate here on a Monday evening at about 8pm. They seated our group of 10 immediately and promptly got us drinks. It’s a very loud restaurant even though there was not a game going on. Various TVs were tuned to different games/events. They have a large bar and covered patio seating area. They had various Mac and Cheese specials which our party enjoyed. The tritip sandwitch had a very smoky flavor, the tater tots were really good! For dessert the crème brûlée was ok, the cheesecake decent, but the chocolate cake and ice cream was amazing.

Google
I booked the "nightclub" downstairs at Redemption Bar & Grill for my 50th celebration this past weekend. The food, the service....everything was just amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for Corbin. My guests loved the atmosphere and could not get over how amazing the food was. Thank you Corbin and team for an unforgettable evening. I will highly recommend them for your next function

Google
Stopped in while traveling through the area. Had an early dinner so the place wasn't crowded. Was greeted and seated immediately and order taken quickly. Beer selection was good. It didn't take long for our food to come out and it was delicious! Staff were all very friendly. We had a good experience.

Google
2.5 stars. Wanna give it another chance because the vibes were great - good location, great views, fun layout, upstairs seating. Went in a Friday for an early dinner and there weren’t very many people there so I was surprised. -The drinks were delicious. I got the killer koolaid shot and KP#4 cocktail (best drink ever). -Food looked good but wasn’t. I got the chimichangas and they were cold and soggy and the meat was questionable. I also got the roasted garlic flatbread. It was alright but I’d never get it again. I wanna try some appys next and hopefully they are redeemable. -Our server was nice but not very attentive. Stood around a lot and even started cleaning his shoes with a rag mid shift at a table next to guests. We ended up having to ask the bartender for our check because he disappeared for a while. Hopefully next visit will up my rating.

Google
Always a fun place to enjoy a good evening with friends. Especially the special events. If you love UFC you will love coming here to watch the fights. If you like bingo and no it not an old person sport. It really a great place to have fun on a Tuesday night.

Google
Keith and Brian are amazing! They are very personable, and are there when you need anything! Highly recommend coming to visit! The food is also absolutely amazing! You can’t go wrong at Redemption!

Google
The service here is always a pleasant experience. The food and drinks have been amazing every time. Their fried mac & cheese balls are fantastic. The music is a bit loud for my preference, but overall the vibe is great!

Yelp
We have been going to Singo for MONTHS and it's the best!!! We love Riah and Mike of course!! Best experience with her, everytime!

Yelp
Karaoke Thursday! First time at this bar. We grabbed some bites on the top level , where they had live entertainment. We later ventured to the basement to partake in karaoke! We won $50! Such a fun night with Dj and our bartender Kay!

Yelp
My husband and I had a random Monday off and decided to check this place out. It's huge! Blue Line themed not only inside with decor but drink items as well. More of a conservative place which was cool. Service was friendly and quick. My Grilled Chicken Avocado was messy and the pesto overwhelming. The chicken tasted strange almost like it either wasn't properly cooked or wasn't real chicken breast, and it was square shaped almost so I didn't eat it all. The fries were yummy. My husband liked his PB Sriracha burger but said he could barely taste the Sriracha on it. There's plenty of tv's around the restaurant and it seems like a great place to go watch some live sports. Will most likely give this place a shot again sometime trying something different to eat.

Yelp
Attended a Nashville Writers Round here and really enjoyed it. The larger room they have is great for events like this. Note: Sitting near the canvas walls during the winter is _cold_. Wear your winter boots and coat. Seriously...it's cold on those metal chairs the closer you are to the walls. The food and service were great. Try the spicy french dip. I might suggest hosting more of these types of events. Live music, writers rounds, etc. Maybe get your own sound system/guy to make things easier. I'd attend 10+ or these in a year, easy. Thanks for hosting this fun event! Note: They have a sign about not parking in the Arctic Circle lot, and I saw the tow truck guy sitting there watching. They'll get you, and you'll deserve it. :) The venue parking lot is small, so be prepared to park in the dirt/mud expansion lot, or on the road a block away or so.

Yelp
There are not enough bars in southwest salt lake county area so redemption bar and grill is a hidden gem. The location is so great because of the views you can see from the top floor. The top floor has not only a deck but a Hawaiian theme, and swings at the bar which are so fun! On the first floor they have fire pits and outdoor options. Such a diverse, cozy, chill bar tucked away on the hill. Everything on the menu is delicious and fairly priced. Their drinks are typical bar drinks but always hit! The service is good the managers we've met are super great! Very cleanly well kept bar would recommend.

Yelp
My phone did not hurt so I have no pictures to capture the goodness and the glory of their food and cocktails LOL! I wanted to try this restaurant out as it was near my neighborhood and I took my Bestie here before he left Utah and we both enjoyed our time. Friendly and efficient customer service with good quick bite. The menu entrées are quality. Best part is having a GREAT cocktail especially in Utah but these drinks were fire!!! 10/10 recommend for bar eats and drinks especially when you are looking for something easy and quick to do.

Yelp
Redemption has been on the list for a long time and decided we wanted to try a new burger place. Redemption has very little parking. It was a bit of a mess. The place itself felt like a usual bar - a lot of tvs and a band upstairs. Spinach Artichoke dip - 5 stars - the pita was the Star here. Very tasty. Blue cheese burger - 4 stars - very flavorful and messy. Asked for crispy bacon. It came out limp. Good overall. Mushroom Swiss burger - 5 stars - a great example of a mushroom swiss. No complaints. Good place overall. No complaints but it did not wow us in any way.

Yelp
Yummy!!! Yummy!!! The service and food is always scrumptious. We enjoy coming to Redemption for the atmosphere and sports programs. Taylor the waitress was so attentive to our needs. The GM Keith, is so friendly and always checks in with us.

Yelp
The food is always so good and great service. I've tried different items on the menu to find my favorite but l can't pick just one. I'll have just keep going back. Such a fun place.

Yelp
Big place good for big groups. Good at checking ids. Huge menu. Great views. Food that we got was very mid. Not horrible but not great. Service was very standard. Didn't make any effort beyond taking order and bringing food. No manager visit First choice for leaving a tip is 35% and on that note after we paid we saw the fact they charge for credit cards. She didn't tell us. It MIGHT be somewhere on the menu but we didn't notice. And we were first timers so felt like we gave it a good once over. IMO just raise your prices. Or post it plainly and have staff let your guests know about the up charge.

Yelp
This place is HUGE and has multiple levels. We sat upstairs at the bar with the swings, which is so cute and fun. I feel like this place would be fun in the summer. We were sitting at the top floor but it was night time when we went so we couldn't enjoy the views sadly. I want to come back here during nicer weather during the day. We started with their pretzel, because I'm a sucker for a pretzel & beer cheese. The sauces weren't my favorite, the pretzel was decent, but also not my favorite. I ordered their quinoa salad without olives, and when it arrived they forgot to make it without olives. Totally fine - I let the server know that the order was wrong and they re-made it for me and it wasn't a huge deal. The salad was yummy. I didn't order any drinks this time around, but would love to come back and try their drinks and other food options!

Yelp
I like this bar. Has some good vibes here. I don't think the food is 100% yet. Still could use a little work. But I know people that absolutely love this place and go a lot. The service has always been kind and helpful. It's worth checking out.
google avatar

Jared C.

Yelp
Their burger tastes like freezer burn. No flavor. Also, the steak frites gravy was the saltiest thing I've ever tasted. Definitely a packaged gravy and not good at all. Speakers upstairs are all blown so it was really annoying to be there in general. Re: Your fresh burgers, interestingly, taste like garbage.

Yelp
Hubby and I wanted a new place to try for date night. I found this on Yelp and decided to try it. Wonderful place. Nice casual atmosphere, we sat upstairs in the tiki bar. Beautiful views all around, nice to be able to enjoy dinner and couple of margaritas and be able to have a normal conversation with each other. Alex was our server and she was awesome. We ordered the garage can nachos; my husband ordered the mushroom burger and I ordered the citrus salmon. Food was great but just a tad on the under-seasoned side but overall no complaints. Glad we decided to try it - we have a new options for date night

Yelp
Great place if you located in south Valley and looking for good bar food and drinks. Not the same vibe as the downtown bar scene, but good enough for a quick night out. Bar food is a huge guilty pleasure of mine. And this place has a great menu! We got the fried pickles, wonton nachos, and funeral potato cakes, and it was plenty of food for the two of us.
google avatar

Yelp
Redemption has great food and a cool atmosphere. The service is always prompt, food is always hot, and the staff is very friendly. Make sure you bring your drivers license as they do check at the door.

Calvin W.

Yelp
Flatbread was small and tasted like it came frozen from a box. The service and ambiance were good.

Yelp
This place is so fun! A couple of friends (our very own Corynn from YelpUtah) and I after a girl's night out visiting Barbieland. We were all excited to sit in the swings at the bar. We tried a little of everything... pretzels, nachos, salads, etc. Some of the food was so-so and could have used a little more flavor or different seasonings (ie. the honey mustard for the pretzel was a little more like a dressing than a dip). I really enjoyed my brisket tacos (that's what drew me in); they had great flavor. The service was great! Our bar tender was kind enough to put up with all of our shenanigans. The decor and signs around the place were fun. It was nighttime when we went, so we didn't see all of the amazing view that this place claims, but seeing the city lights was still pretty. There are two levels. The upstairs has the swings at the tiki bar theme. Will visit again.

Yelp
The food is actually a lot better than I expected for a "Bar and Grill". Food was legit AMAZING. Atmosphere is fun, works for a date and works just as well for a girls night out. Service was on point, never rude always friendly. Drinks are good too!

Yelp
First time here... parking is HARD on a Friday night ,I bet its crazy worse after or during snow. It's a bar so u get carded as soon as u walk in. So no kids allowed. The main floor is a well lit bar with tv's and high tables. I didn't get much of a look at the main floor as I was told by one of the people up front that there's also the a 2nd floor and it's a Tiki Bar so that's where we headed. Cute upstairs... even a few "swing" seats at the bar. Lots of tables. You seat yourself. TV's for sports over the Bar. Waitress was friendly-- happened to be same woman who talked to us down below. Cocktails had cute names. When I couldn't decide she asked me if I liked Long Island Ice Tea and she said she could make me a peach one. Unfortunately-- it wasn't great at all. i would gave preferred a reg Long Island over that. Food wasn't anything special tho. What we ordered : The hubby had the La Joven Francesca Inspired Cuban with Redemption Fries as the side instead of reg fries. Redemption fries is a lil of all the fried potatoes they serve: sweet potato waffle fries , reg fries and tots. The side size was very little but you can get this also as an appetizer. Waitress recommended the Grilled Chicken Avocado as one of her faves so that's what I had with some tots as my side. As I said before we both agreed food was just ok. The Pesto on my chicken sandwich was strange. It was like a pesto paste instead of an aioli like I would have preferred. I love pesto but this was just too thick and I had to scrape some off. We did like the ambiance. Helpful hint: Def not a place to take a 1st date cuz the music was blasting... so it's hard to have a conversation. I threw in the 3rd star on this review cuz of the 20% discount they offered thru YELP! :)

Lisa R.

Yelp
Service is great and the mango chicken salad is awesome! The ambiance is laid back and friendly. Also they allow dogs!

Yelp
The food is so good... great service and the ambience is always great. We ordered the crab nachos and the French dip. It's very good.

Yelp
So we did do take out which I know isn't the absolute greatest for food. It's usually best at the restaurant but we thought we'd take our chances. We ordered the nachos with brisket, the chili verde fries and the Mac n cheese balls. The pros were that they separated the toppings for our nachos so they weren't soggy. The brisket and pork were very tender and the Mac n cheese balls were very crispy. It seemed pricey but the amount of food delivered I felt justified the cost. The cons were that for the nachos all we received was brisket, beer cheese and beans. They didn't provide any pico, sour cream or jalapeños and the nachos really needed that freshness. Unfortunately, the Chile verde fries were not separated so the fries were soggy and seemed undercooked. I'd like to try this place again but in restaurant. It looks like it would be a better experience.

Yelp
Ambiance was super chill and toasty by the fire. The food was surprisingly really good for a bar and Fred was great! She was super friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend.

Yelp
I invited a couple of work friends to meet up. We had a nice time. We went on a Friday around 6:30pm. Parking was rough. They have a downstairs but we did not go there because they had a private party going on that night. They also have a tiki bar upstairs that people really like we went and checked it out but there were no seats up there. I got a peach Mule it was refreshing and a little sweet I definitely recommend it. We shared some appetizers the Fried pickles the pretzel and the redemption fries. I got my friend Olga a Redemption coin the coin is well-made and looks nice. She was very happy.

Yelp
Closest bar to home and sadly only has one great thing on their menu. There MAC&Cheese bites. Fried Mac and cheese in little balls? I thought I liked their Pork Belly Chicken and Waffles but it was dry 2-3 times. I keeping thinking it'll get better but sometimes that's just as good as it gets.

Yelp
Food is delicious and Beth is an amazing server!! Cool vibes and awesome environment!

Yelp
The building itself, which is located in the far back corner or Herriman, is impressive. Nice architecture and very convertible to either be open air or not. It was still a bit cool on the mid-March day we were there so the main floor had the removable walls up. Even from the bottom floor the view of the valley was very good. Didn't make it up to the upstairs floor and patio but will probably be back so I'll take a peek then. We were there for Breaking Bingo and they had the best set-up for that I've seen, especially when it comes to sound clarity. They had some drink specials going that rotate based on day of the week, so check that out. Service was solid. My wife always has questions and our server was more than willing to help her out. They are also really well set-up for watching sporting events with TVs line of sight from pretty much every seat. I had some food but don't remember much about it other than it did the job. Really ambitious building for the location but it has great architecture. Oh, almost forgot, their parking is completely inadequate. We were there on a weeknight and despite Breaking Bingo, which seemed to be what brought in at least half their customers, the place was less than 2/3 capacity without the upstairs in play. The paved parking lot was full and as many more cars were parked in a dirt patch next to the paved parking lot. Hopefully they can expand the paved lot soon. Don't need customers breaking ankles out there after it gets dark.

Yelp
We love the upstairs area as it's open and there was a DJ when we went (but sure if there's always a DJ) which made it more fun! Love the vibe and open area which also gave a nice breeze while dining. Food was good but not amazing. We got the nachos which had beans in it so not a fan and wouldn't get it again. We also got an OG burger and redemption wings. Was hoping the redemption wings was something unique but it was just an Asian sweet chili sauce but the wings itself was crisp and good. Would get wings again but in different sauce. Service was great. Our waitress was super sweet and checked up on us regularly.

Casey G.

Yelp
Good atmosphere, food was delicious will return. That's it. I don't know why I need 85 characters to say that.

Yelp
Tried Redemption for the first time yesterday! I visited with a friend and we both enjoyed our experience. Our waiter, Dax, was super helpful with menu choices and service. He was on top of things the entire time we were there. I ordered the Turkey wrap and it was fantastic. The sriracha bacon is top tier... so good! Fun spot to hangout and grab quality food! We will definitely be back.
google avatar

Yelp
Food was delicious and the waitress was so sweet!! I had the trash can nachos with brisket and it was great!! The environment was so chill and loved the fireplaces they added. There was live music playing when we went to which was an added plus!

Yelp
I was visiting from Texas and was looking for a good bite to eat. I was becoming homesick and missing something that came close to Mexican cuisine. My friend suggested this place and ordered me Cauliflower tacos. At first, I was skeptical. I bit into my taco and was met with delightfulness. It was flavored just enough. I had a serving of chips too, and it was airy and fresh. Overall, I am satisfied.

Yelp
first time here with my boyfriend last week and we're already back for a second trip, we had kelsey as our server and she was so lovely. honestly we were blown away by the food and drinks. fairly cheap and SO GOOD! they've got outdoor/patio seating and darts to play. i have absolutely nothing bad to say about this place. we go around 4-5pm on weekdays and it's quiet and chill. definitely coming back on the weekend and brining friends :)) so happy i found a new spot this place is such a goldmine!

Brian K.

Yelp
Nice place. They charge a 3% credit card fee if you use a card to pay. I will continue to avoid this place until they change their habits. The prices they charge seem to reflect this 3% being embedded into the overall cost, but they want more. Visitor beware!

Yelp
A good friend of mine took me here for my bday brunch this year and it was a perfect spot for it. It takes 30 mins to drive which is not bad at all the food is worth the wait, not to mention the awesome bar staff. Pros- Greeted at door and ID check Great bar staff, they were busy doing things but as soon as walked in they were ready to serve us ans that is huge in my book. Good job. Fantastic beer and food selection I highly recommend the brisket tacos they were delicious, tasty, and hit all the right spots the sauce they used on it was perfect and the meat was so tender. My buddy got the pork tacos we each traded a taco because we wanted to try both. when you bite into them you taste the smoked flavors the grilled mango and more both meals were priced generously and the portion sizes were filling I would highly recommend this bar and grill for any occasion the space is huge did not go through the whole thing but they have lots of TVs, a cozy fireplace area, easy to walk around with a larger group I am sure you won't feel crowded. Cons: None that I can think of. Bouns: They have charging port stations under the bar remember to bring your cord. They do not supply them.
google avatar

Holly A.

Yelp
Have been here several times since moving back to Herriman but my absolute favorite time to go is for brunch on Sundays. I have had the Monte Cristi in the past that had the most delicious jam on it. I am so glad I tried the chicken and waffles. The waffle was light and fluffy, chicken had the best crunchy outer crust on it. It was seasoned perfectly. It comes with 2 eggs and they were prepared perfectly. We also drank mimosas and a bees knee gin drink. I'm the past I have shared the trash can nachos with brisket to hat were so much fun to eat. The atmosphere is fun and hip with many dinning area options. I love the swing seating on the second floor. It's a real fun vibe. It does get very busy and loud in the evenings. I personally prefer the Sunday brunch hour so I can talk to my guy while enjoying great food and cocktails.

Natalie F.

Yelp
Redemption has it all! Excellent food, cocktails and so much fun entertainment! The staff is always courteous and fun!

Yelp
Way, way out in Herriman you'll find this oasis. By the time you get to it, you'll be hungry and thirsty-which may be by design. Nah, all kidding aside-although there's not much developed out here yet, just give it time. Plenty of people have started to flock here already-and for good reason. It's a fun, bright and open bar. Yes, you'll need to show ID at the door. So it's not for the kids. There are TVs all around showing various sporting events. But it doesn't have the typical "sports bar" feel-it's more modern and bright. There's a bit of an industrial artsy feel to the place as well. Service is friendly, flirty and attentive-just what any good bar should have. We all enjoyed a few drinks and food items and enjoyed our experience. I can tell there is potential for even more with this space. Due to Covid, I think they are limited to just bar/restaurant activities. But I could see more happening here in the future (pool tables, dancing, patio seating, etc.) I'm excited for such a fun place to be out in my neck of the woods. It's not often that our sleepy little west side city gets cool stuff like this.
google avatar

Bekah C.

Yelp
Low quality photos. High quality bar & grill. I love Redemption. It's the best bar in the area. The people who work here are amazing, the food is excellent, and the environment is super laid back and chill. The only bummer is the parking. If you go on a Friday night, prepare to park out in the boonies. But it's worth it! If you haven't visited Redemption, you should make plans to go soon. It's one of a kind!

Meghan C.

Yelp
Really good bar food :) the Mac and cheese bites and brisket tacos were my favorite. I also loved the tiki bar up stairs. Keith was a very gracious host! Thank you for having us

Penny M.

Yelp
Fun place, great food and staff. Fun place to go on a Sunday. Xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxooooo

Yelp
This was our first time trying this place after hearing about it for so long. Both the food and the drinks were great. There was one waitress/bartender at the time but it wasn't busy so everything came fast. We loved the layout and all of the subtle nods to first responders and the military. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

John C.

Yelp
Someone commented on their Mac n Cheese and we had to go check it out. Service was fast and smooth, always being checked up on in a timely fashion. The lighting inside was nice and bright. Food was really good. We ordered the bone in wings, pork candy (caramelized pork belly), redemption fries (had 3 awesome dipping sauces), fried pickles, mac n cheese, roasted vegetable salad, cheeseburger, and pastrami patty melt. Only thing lacking was there was no dessert offered. For sure will come back.
google avatar

Penny M.

Yelp
Been here 3 times. First time on a slow night the experience was great! We did the Trash Nachos, super Yum! Pizzas and there special cocktails is great! Second/third time we went the server kept bringing us other people's drinks. The table was not clean, the food order was wrong. After saying something a few times she still didn't bother to fix. We just left! The bar is nice! The music is good! I hope the service with the servers upstairs gets better!

Travis M.

Yelp
Have to be 21 years or older to get in. The food was definitely good and filling. The fries are a mix of tots, sweet potato fries, and crispy fries. I had the fish and chips. The fish was cooked perfect but the breading could be a tad thinner.
google avatar

Angie S.

Yelp
I love this place! It has character and great bar food. I recommend the trash can nachos with the brisket. We are always served so quickly, and love to sit on the second level on the bar swings. The views are pretty amazing, too! They have themed nights to mix up the fun. If you like sports, they will make sure your team is on one of the many tv's. But, most of all, I appreciate they support our troops and law enforcement. A bar with a lot of character!
google avatar

Cory R.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this bar/restaurant thankfully! The atmosphere and views are awesome! Our server, Jordan, was all positive energy and on top of things! We sat by the open patio area and enjoyed mimosas. Multiple TVs surrounded us to enjoy watching sports while eating our brunch. We tried eggs Benedict, huevos rancheros, and the English Breakfast. The over medium eggs ordered with the English Breakfast were more like over easy; a little too runny. Other than that, it was all delicious! I will definitely be back to sit on the roof top for dinner one night!
google avatar

Katy B.

Yelp
Mind blown that this is in Herriman. There are lots of brewery restaurants popping up lately and this is the best one down south by far. I'm not much of a drinker, but the food is excellent. I've been for Sunday brunch twice and strongly recommend the Full English Breakfast (of course, with an American twist--I'm not sure the English glaze their bacon in a sweet sriracha sauce). The huevos rancheros was also good, topped with a shredded pork. It wasn't my personal favorite given that the overall flavor of the dish was pretty sweet and bbq-y, but it wasn't badly done. Just...a variation that wasn't ultimately my preference. Coffee at brunch has been hit and miss. The first time I got it, it was great. The second time, it was super scorched and intensely bitter. The best part about Redemption--especially given the current pandemic--is that the whole place is built to bring the outdoors indoors. There are two separate patios, and at least during the warmer weather, both "indoor" dining spaces are also completely open to keep the fresh air flowing. Staff wears masks as well (though most of the clientele does not). Great service. The owner (?) has stopped by our table every time we've been there now, asking about food quality, making recommendations, and offering to replace anything that didn't turn out to our liking. He also warned us that Thursday through Saturday nights, the wait for the place can be upwards of two hours. So, needless to say, we haven't tried it yet for dinner on those nights. Definitely a new favorite overall.
