The 31 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done

"“Redemption Roasters closes at 5:30pm” are words that will give any freelancer goosebumps. Better yet, this coffee house is open seven days a week too. There are a few outposts dotted around London but the Covent Garden spot is our favourite thanks to the winning combination of foliage and fast wifi. The pour-over bar will get coffee fanatics all excited and the pastries are great. " - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Redemption Roasters - Review - London - The Infatuation

"‘Redemption Roasters closes at 5pm' are words that will give any freelancer goosebumps. In a city where your average coffee shop shuts down at 3pm, those extra two hours of caffeinated potential are a massive win. Better yet, this coffee house is open on Mondays too. There are a few outposts dotted around London but the Covent Garden spot is our favourite thanks to the winning combination of foliage and fast wifi. The ‘pour-over bar’ will get any coffee fanatics all excited and you definitely want to get involved in the rotation of sweet treats. The pastries in particular are great. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

I’ve visited a few times now. Always friendly staff and a laid-back, casual vibe. It’s a popular spot for laptop users (myself included), though power outlets are limited. There may be more downstairs, but I haven’t explored that area yet. The cold brew and iced blacks are consistently great. Prices are a bit on the expensive side, with an Iced Black or Cold Brew at £4.69, but given the location, it’s understandable. One serious downside: the location makes it a target for pickpockets. I caught someone going through my bag while I was sitting in. Please stay alert and keep your belongings close. Unfortunately, there’s not much the staff or business can do about this issue. Still, a lovely place to spend a casual afternoon if you're cautious with your valuables.

Redemption Coffee Roasters never disappoints! Their coffee is always top-notch, and at this branch, I tried the cupcake and the cookie—they were absolutely delicious. Great quality and flavors all around!

I had matcha here. I liked the taste. Also great to spend an hour or so on laptop, books, etc.

I tried the Santa’s Special espresso at Redemption Roasters, it was a very good espresso overall—smooth and well-balanced. The café itself has a cozy and welcoming vibe, making it a great spot for a coffee break. If you’re curious about seasonal offerings, it’s worth a visit, great coffee and overall atmosphere.

Nice coffee. Shame the young woman with glasses, who made the coffee decided to wipe her nose with her left hand as I entered the shop. She made no attempt to wash or clean her hands. Simply run the length of her hand up her nose, and then proceeded to pull a shot. This shop needs to be cleaned, too to bottom. And then re-educate staff on the basics of cleanliness.

Great service, pastries and coffee. Every pastry on offer looked amazing and we tried an almond croissant and a cinnamon scroll. Both were delicious and went well with the coffee. We ordered a flat white, oat milk flat white and a latte. If you enjoy a milk coffee then this should hit the spot.

Student and NHS discount for 20%. The coffee is very good. They use specialty beans and you can taste the roasted flavour, however the food is quite mediocre. We got a cake and it was slightly stale but the coffee was honestly the best part here. If you want to come for a quick coffee and good atmosphere then would recommend. Prices with the discount are quite reasonable. Some inconsistency though with the syrups as I’ve been twice now and the same caramel latte tasted a little different in sweetness each time. Free WiFi and very good location.

I love anywhere that gives ex-offenders a second chance but I didn't even know of this coffee shop until I happened upon it. The staff are trained in their barista skills in prison and then are able to work in the coffee shop on release. Everyone was very friendly, service was great and the atmosphere was lively. Definitely 5*
