The 31 Best London Coffee Shops With Wifi For Getting Work Done

"“Redemption Roasters closes at 5:30pm” are words that will give any freelancer goosebumps. Better yet, this coffee house is open seven days a week too. There are a few outposts dotted around London but the Covent Garden spot is our favourite thanks to the winning combination of foliage and fast wifi. The pour-over bar will get coffee fanatics all excited and the pastries are great. " - jake missing, rianne shlebak, daisy meager, sinead cranna

Redemption Roasters - Review - London - The Infatuation

"‘Redemption Roasters closes at 5pm' are words that will give any freelancer goosebumps. In a city where your average coffee shop shuts down at 3pm, those extra two hours of caffeinated potential are a massive win. Better yet, this coffee house is open on Mondays too. There are a few outposts dotted around London but the Covent Garden spot is our favourite thanks to the winning combination of foliage and fast wifi. The ‘pour-over bar’ will get any coffee fanatics all excited and you definitely want to get involved in the rotation of sweet treats. The pastries in particular are great. photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch photo credit: Aleksandra Boruch Pause Unmute" - Heidi Lauth Beasley

I popped into this coffee shop during my lunch break to get the pulled pork and pickle sandwich, but they were sold out. The staff immediately offered to make me a fresh one on the spot, which was fantastic. Since it would take about 10 minutes, they kindly offered me a free coffee for the wait (I declined), but before long they surprised me with one of their delicious cakes instead! Such a thoughtful touch. Both the food and the service were absolutely 10/10 — I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and genuinely lovely staff.

Such a warm and friendly welcome from the barista behind the counter. It was a hot day and he was enjoying a spaceship lolly, which made me laugh, and we ended up chatting about holding onto summer for as long as possible. He even told me I’d brightened his day with my positive energy and smile, which completely made mine too! I ordered an oat latte, and he invited me to sit down while he brought it over. The coffee was delicious, made even better by the kindness and friendly chat. When I went to pay, he said it was “on the house” to thank me for bringing the good vibes and shook my hand. I thought that was so thoughtful and a lovely gesture. The café itself is bigger than most in Covent Garden, with a minimalist industrial style that still feels light, open and welcoming thanks to the way the space is laid out. Seats are comfy with space between tables is great which ensures you don’t feel like you’re over crowded. RR Drury Lane are now firmly on my list of go-to spots in Covent Garden for great coffee and genuinely lovely service. I’ll definitely be back and next time I’ll be repaying the favour and trying the lunch and cake options which look delicious!

I came to Redemption Roasters in Covent Garden after my tutor highly recommended it. From the moment I walked in i think his name was Steve? He was very helpful and so kind. He was welcoming and asked me about how long i had been in to coffee and even showed me a lesson how to make a heart pattern on top of the foam so i could practice on my own machine at home. He made my day and was so down to Earth- we need more people like Steve in this world! He even shook my hand! The latte was delicious! I wished I could of stayed longer to enjoy the atmosphere but what a brilliant company. I will certainly be coming back- I wished we had these coffee shops in Kent! Thank you Steve you are a HUGE asset to the company.

Lovely coffee, sandwiches and snacks and most notably excellent service from very friendly staff. We came hoping to get a brunch but this specific branch doesn’t have a kitchen, so try one of their other stores (Angel or Islington) if you want a more substantial meal. However we had great toasted sandwiches recommended by the very kind and friendly staff member. Will defo be back to this one and to try the brunches somewhere else!
