"‘Redemption Roasters closes at 5pm' are words that will give any freelancer goosebumps. In a city where your average coffee shop shuts down at 3pm, those extra two hours of caffeinated potential are a massive win. Better yet, this coffee house is open on Mondays too. There are a few outposts dotted around London but the Covent Garden spot is our favourite thanks to the winning combination of foliage and fast wifi. The ‘pour-over bar’ will get any coffee fanatics all excited and you definitely want to get involved in the rotation of sweet treats. Staff need to be trained properly how to make coffees. The texture of milk was horrible. One of the worst latte I have ever had(see the pictures). I ordered my coffee with skimmed milk but, they used whole milk. Although the taste of coffee was not bad, I would not come back as I did not feel comfortable with staff attitude.

Came here for a quick coffee, lured in by the nice reviews and interesting coffee alternatives. Unfortunately we were greeted by a very cold and disrespectful staff. Not only they were very unfriendly, but they got very annoyed while we were taking time to choose what to order, and rude when we finally ended up ordering. It’s really sad since the coffee was nice but the atmosphere was very unwelcoming because of the staff. I don’t think we will come back again or recommend this place

Couldn’t believe it when I saw a charge of £5 for a coffee. Nearly refused to pay and cancelled my order but I was desperate for a warm place to sit as it was cold and rainy outside. They charge an extra 50p for decaf and an extra 50p for oat milk. It isn’t my fault I can’t have dairy so don’t think it’s fair to charge extra for this, considering most places don’t anymore. Would have been fine with this if the coffee was great and large but it was small and mediocre. Then there was nowhere to sit. Staff were nice enough. Not going back here though.

We’ve come here twice on our trip to London and we loved it! Although it was very crowded and full, the staff was very calm and always kind to the customers. The coffee was delicious and the baked goods as well!

Nice coffee place. A bit crammed up but otherwise really lovely. Cozy interior and good pricing for coffees. Ordered a flat white and was nice. Also had the potato spinach filo pastry to go with it. They also offer complimentary was and have a lot of accessories for takeaway. The cakes looked good too.

This little café has potential to be better, but is reliable if you’re in need of a quick bite. The food is mediocre currently, as I found both my pain au chocolat and hot chocolate to be lacking the amount of chocolate I would usually expect. The service was a let down, as the employee at the till didn’t understand that my girlfriend was trying to redeem her free hot drink, which caused some obvious frustration. We decided to take away too, as it was much too warm inside to enjoy our food. I do appreciate the loyalty card that is offered, but overall, I believe that with some small adjustments I would be willing to revisit this café again.
