Founded in 1976 and still volunteer-driven, Redmond’s Saturday tradition runs through October 2025 at Overlake’s lots. Church, tourism, and historical sources confirm its longevity and Washington-made focus.

Very nice farmers market! The people are friendly, and the fruits and vegetables are very fresh. There’s plenty of parking, which is much better than other farmers markets I’ve been to. They also have shave ice, coffee, hot dogs, popcorn, and more—great options for snacks while you shop. A great place to shop local and enjoy the atmosphere.

It was a wonderful time on Aug 2, 2025 about an hour before closing (2 p.m). Plenty of good spirits. Children laughing and dancing. Great music by Jon Andrew Franklin. Lots of friendly pets. Good food, veggies and fruits with a good selection of food. 💗💗💗

Google
I’ve been going to this market for years because it is on the Sammamish River trail and makes for a nice picnic or snack opportunity. This year they have a new location which I’m still deciding if I like it or not. The market has many craft and farm stand vendors and a few prepared food options. Almost no seating or shade for patrons though. I think this market is on the larger size as local markets go. I appreciate that it has a long season from May-October. Parking lot in this new one seemed busy. There is bike parking under shaded structures at this site!

Worth stopping by, produce just taste better when buying from a farmers market. I grabbed a bag of kettle corn while i shopped around. You can find organic fruits, veggies, meats&eggs, snacks, jams, honey, art so much more...its super low key too. Youll want bring a sack to carry your local finds. Bonus youll get your 10k steps in easy. Also the vendors are so nice!!!

Google
Great selection of food vendors. We like to get mushrooms and organic vegetables here along with pastries from the Snohomish bakery. This time we also purchased cheese from Samish valley and hotdogs from peppers that were delicious. Lots of parking in the Over lake Church parking lot.

Google
Enjoyed the market....even to just browse...fresh produce and fruit...AND the bakery foods..,soooo good. Some nice craft works shown there as well. Go and enjoy..even if it's just to get outside.

Google
This was such a fun market, got to find many local grown groceries and the best part was food. I loved the falafel a lot here as you can see in my pictures. Also the flower bouquets were a feast for my eyes. There were many samples for each and every stall. Best part was the live music by a band consisting of 2 people.

Google
Wonderful, friendly vendors with fresh organic produce, hand made art, jewelry and crafts. Delicious food. Had a great time.

Yelp
One of my favorite markets in my neighborhood. They are open longer months than the one nearby my house, also in a larger scale = more options and entertainment for myself and my little pupper . I love it they added another bakery (Snohomish Bakery) in RSM this year, and I could not resist but trying their twice-baked pan au chocolat - gooey chocolaty goodness - LOVE it. It is such a treat in the cheat day. I grabbed their baguette and focaccia - so looking forward to trying them. Many vendors returned this year (produce/meat/egg/cheese, craft and food vendors), including Wiseguy (my pup's fave), and they still have live entertainment every week. This is a lovely place to spend your Saturday morning, and I can't wait for the better weather in the mid-summer, when the produce options widen up.

Yelp
First time here and it was a lovely day at the market! Easy to find, plenty of parking since it's held in the lot of a church, clean, and they even have a row of portable toilets with hand washing stations as well. Friendly people all around and a nice assortment of handmade and locally grown goods. I went today looking for duck eggs and honey comb, and I was able to get a dozen eggs from the helpful people at the Sky Valley Family Farm booth (so excited!), but I had no luck on the comb this time around. I'm looking forward to visiting this market in the future, and highly recommend!

Rhobley R.

Yelp
Nice selection of veggies, both organic and non-organic. Sky Valley Farm is the vendor for farm fresh eggs, along with grass fed beef. They also have pork. The pork sausage is great, all flavors!

Yelp
Such a fun little farmers market! Parking: incredibly easy! Huge parking lot. You have to walk, but not far at all. Parking is also free. Prices: typical farmers market/local market prices! Quality of goods: everything we purchased there exceeded our expectations! Like any farmers market, you are paying for local items. Food: they have a few different booths to choose from! The hot dog/sausage one was definitely the longest line (and super yummy + affordable) Environment: Lots of dogs, families, kids, live music. When the sun is out, it's the perfect place to be. People eating lunch on the grass listening to music, lots of laughter. Definitely a mood booster! Variety: I felt like there was a decent variety but not enough compared to some of the other farmers markets I've been to. Booths that stuck out to me: Coffee booth Homemade candles--small percentage went to a dog shelter Pickled garlic and other condiments LOTS OF FLOWERS Snow cones (this seemed to be pretty popular the day we went...it was a nice 70 degrees out)

Yelp
I love coming here and especially enjoy the new location!! With the Redmond Saturday Market now located off Willows Road, it makes parking so much easier. Also, there's a lot of more space for vendors. It's much more open and easier to roam and walk around compared to the other location. It's less cramped and feels more open and spacious. There's so much to check out when you're here and I recommend making a nice day of it! The market hours are from 10am-2pm and you're bound to find some great farm products, beautiful local flowers, or even try some yummy food from a local food truck.

Yelp
We love this farmers market in Redmond. They recently moved from downtown Redmond to Willows Road and there's so much more parking, which is fantastic. Do you want cheese? do you want fruit? do you want salsa? do you want flowers? do you want lunch? do you want veggies galore? You have come to the right place! We also get fresh fish, berries, mushrooms, honey, micro greens all while be serenaded by local musicians. It's the place to go for fresh, local food straight from the farms.

Yelp
The Redmond Saturday Market, aka Farmers + craft + food + music + children's crafts, is possibly the biggest and best on the east side. It has grown a fair bit in the years since I started going, and what I saw today truly sealed the deal as a premiere destination for all things farmers and home made. First, the most important part - the produce. Multiple, and I mean multiple farmers come from all over to sell their produce here. It's absolutely charming, and honestly better than most other markets due to this. (Ballard's Farmers Market is possibly a hair better and bonus that they run year round!) Grocery/baked goods food stalls - lots of varieties, from cans of tuna, seafood in coolers, etc., home baked goods, they have them. Food to eat there - hey, why not eat there too? I spotted an awesome BBQ, a seafood stall, Mediterranean food, kettle corn, and probably more I missed. I had a cup of made on the premises seafood chowder with all the seafood in that little cup. Lovely! Crafts - Lots of artists booths. Check them out! Children's corner - On a regular schedule, kids of certain age groups are allowed to sign up for a table and sell their creations. It's a bit tucked behind the musician, the BBQ booths. Look for them and see what they have. It's different every week! Music - Live music entertains! Parking - Plentiful!!! Multiple lots serve this market. There's one adjacent to it where the most walk-adverse folks will park there. There's the public lot on Bear Creek. There are multiple lots for Redmond Town Center that you can park.

Yelp
So delicious and fresh produce! Great location and convenient parking. Nice music and vendors.

Yelp
I love a good outdoor farmers market !!! The Redmond market doesn't disappoint ... you'll surely find the high quality foods and sundries that you need to stock your pantry ... great opportunity to support local business and even craftsman.

Yelp
We've come here the last 2 weekends (since it opened for the season) and I am so pumped. So much variety in vendors, including but not limited to products such as - Fresh flower bouquets - Farmed mushrooms - Custom woodworking - Fresh kettle corn - Cheese - Vegetables/fruit - Various food vendors Last weekend we got an amazing Sausage, peppers, & onions sandwich and this weekend we got seafood chowder & a salmon sandwich. Both were ridiculously good. They have a small food court area segmented off on the side where you can eat your purchases, otherwise masks are required when not seated at the food court and they are limiting capacity. Loving it!

Yelp
The Redmond Saturday Market is located between a church and mini-golf place. That means there's lots of parking, but you'll find yourself eating goodies under 3 massive crosses and watching a family tackle the 5th hole. Definitely looks for these two tables: the cool mushroom farmer and the unique sausage peiold. The Market could benefit from a regular coffee stand and more locally-created staples like milk, eggs, and basic bread loaves.

Yelp
Perhaps it's because of covid... it was definitely smaller than I was expecting, especially because of the stellar reviews that was written for this market. Parking was easy - but I could see it getting crowded as it becomes more popular. It's definitely dog- friendly as there were many dogs on leashes roaming around. We didn't end up buying anything since nothing really caught our eyes :)

Yelp
The Lake Washington Symphony sent five musicians to help create a festival atmosphere. The trumpeter's clear melody of "celebrate good time's, come on," in the sunny air made it impossible to not hum along. The selection of vendors is available on line, which helped in our decision to shop today. It is the last week in August and Swanson's Farm has many flats of blueberries still available for a great price. If you save your cardboard box from one week to another, you get a one dollar discount. If you typically shop a Whole Paycheck and cook meals from scratch this takes your food prep up a notch. Organic eggs and meat are available. Check out the new location out Willows Road. The extra elbow room andspace between vendors and customers is so refreshing. Masks were practically universal (August 2021) as Delta variant surges.

Yelp
Nice size farmers market nearby! I saw a lot of vendors for fruits & vegetables, flowers. Friendly atmosphere. Plenty of parking.

Yelp
A Farmers Market is a radical thing to come up on when you find yourself going for a morning walkabout in search of something scrumptious to eat! Here is exactly where I found that a awesome selection of everything that is meant to be what's good fruits veggies and a bunch of random vendors selling all kinda goods! It was kinda in a way awesome that I found this because I bought some fruit on my way back here from walking I got some apples and a green pear you know oh awesome pears are! They had a few other vendors here some of them making food which smelled scrumptious as you can't really go wrong with that or the fruit overload at a farmers market just remember to find it sooner so you can get more goodies! Overall awesome little Saturday morning place to grab what's good if your around here might as well check it out at the same Bat time same Bat channel each week!

Yelp
Ahhh, there are few things better than starting off the weekend with a stroll through the Farmer's Market. The Redmond Market is located in an open lot behind the Lake Washington School District office and just a short walk from plentiful parking at the Town Center, making it super convenient for those already doing some shopping. Every Saturday from May to the end of October, the Market runs from 9:00A - 3:00P. When we arrived around 9:30A, it was already bustling with shoppers, so be sure to get an early start if you want first pick at the produce and eggs. Several vendors displayed colorful fruits and vegetables right from the farm and a couple stands showcased my favorite... the gorgeous flower bouquets. I always stop to admire the flower bouquets but never end up buying a bunch since I can't bear the thought of seeing them eventually wilt. As for novelty items, there were many unique works of art, candles and even a stand selling solely fungi. Compared to the Issaquah market (also held on Saturdays) which I somewhat consider a small food fair, the Redmond Market hosts significantly less food vendors. They offer more snack items like kettle corn, baked goods and shave ice, but have limited options for a more filling lunch. Luckily, there are restaurants nearby at the Redmond Town Center for those interested in visiting the Market before or after grabbing a bite. I always have fun browsing regardless of if I make any purchases, but this time I treated myself to a couple canisters of loose-leaf tea. (Where else can you find green tea with whole local freeze-dried raspberries?) I also found some basil plants for only $1.00 each which was the best bargain of the day. This is the exact reason why I love the Market... I never arrive seeking anything specific, but leave always pleased with my pickings. It makes jumping out of bed early on a weekend completely worth it!

Yelp
I'm a sucker for cherries and I currently like the ones I get from markets like this more than the grocery store so I went to visit today. This market is bigger than the one at Crossroads, the only other one I've been to since covid hit. According to their facebook page and website, they started up again earlier this month with current hours as 10am to 2pm. It wasn't too crowded but they are crowd controlling. At the entrance they have someone counting people entering. The entrance also has masks and a large bottle of hand sanitizer. I don't recall the booths being next to each other as booths tended to be booth, car then booth. There are arrows directing the flow of traffic. This is my first time at the market but compared to how this market is described in other reviews, it's not nearly as big as it was before. You won't hear live music, see a children's corner and the available food has dropped to what can be sealed. I noticed several booths selling fruits and veggies, and some specifically for blue and black berries. There are still booths selling canned fish, fresh fish, eggs, kettlecorn, unique mushrooms and caramels to list off what I remember off the top of my head. There are some craft people who have returned as well. One of the most popular booth at the time I was there was R/P Guerrero Farm. They had a line that I waited in. I bought a pound of rainier cherries from them but while walking away I noticed one of the cherries was already somewhat damaged from bugs. I went back to ask if I could have that particular cherry changed and they were really nice about replacing it and more to make up for that problem.

Yelp
Went last Saturday morning. Used to go years ago when it was good, now not so much. Lots of so called organic vegetables, green beans 7.99 a pound? Really? Don't waste your time

Yelp
We've been going to this farmers market all summer and just love it. There's ample parking in the area making it easy to stop in for a quick fix of some homemade caramels, some delicious tequila pepper jelly, or some fresh gluten free clam chowder. There's just about everything you could need and then of course everything you didn't know you needed. There's several booths with fresh produce that changes in selection throughout the summer, fresh cheeses and seafood, and a mouthwatering menagerie of other goodies. Some of my favorites were jonboy caramels, Holmquist hazelnuts, and Cider Springs Farms jams and jellies. The husband and I nearly cleaned out the maker of the jams on the last day before the farmers market closed for the winter (end of October). We just decided we needed lots of jars as holiday gifts and then of course couldn't resist getting several for ourselves. The tequila pepper jelly is amazing and makes phenomenal sauces for chicken and pork. The hazelnuts have so many flavors to choose from, though I still love the plain and sea salt. The ingredients are also available in case you are gf like me and need to avoid wheat. The caramels were a fav all year long with the traditional being my favorite, but the berry and black salt absinthe making their way into my bag for gifts. When we were done shopping we'd usually have worked up an appetite. The husband discovered an Italian chef filling baguettes with steamy meat and was hooked. Most of the places to grab a bite were either not gf or cross contamination for celiacs was a problem. This little seafood spot in the back corner made killer gf seafood chowder with both red and cream based broths. Stocked full of salmon, clams and veggies, this place should not be missed! Whether you're looking for flowers or meaty stuffed bread, this Saturday Market is the place to be in summertime Redmond.

Yelp
Slightly disappointed with the stalls (not enough of Asian produce). There was a fresh fish and mushroom stall. We got a case of Albion strawberries for $25. We went to SnoValley mushroom and got a mushroom kit for $10. Portapotty for bathrooms.
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
I've stopped by two weekends in a row to peruse the booths & its been some pretty neat finds. We found a vendor who makes bird feeders out of glass & it was a cup & saucer, absolutely magnificent. Tried sno cones, werent the best-tip: smash all the ice down to get the best flavor & drink it like a slush. Had a monte cristo & cuban sandwich-pretty neat taste & the vendors are pretty great to chat with. Found a vendor who makes linen bags with cork bottoms & she's willing to combine two styles in one, plus! Tried African something Kombucha & you have to make sure to stir, shake, stir, sip. Overall, laid back vibe--nice music with hit or miss vendors that'll engage.

Yelp
One of my favorite things to do Saturday mornings is visit the local farmers market in Downtown Redmond! I've become so accustomed to getting some of my groceries from here that I'm pretty sad this place isn't year-round. It starts around May and lasts until end of October, which is when the weather is nice. There are a ton of food stands (BBQ food, crepe stand, breakfast sandwiches, Italian sausage & peppers baguette, Greek food, chowder, and more), produce stands, sealed food products (garlic sauce, canned fish, jellies, etc.), and miscellaneous stands (candles, glass figures, clothing, flowers, etc.). I've seen some really cool produce, such as purple cauliflower, Italian zucchini, and purple beans! All of the food vendors offer samples, so definitely try out some of them. If you're in the area, definitely stop by! It's a great farmers market with a lot of cool things to look at :)
google avatar

Raya K.

Yelp
The prices are pretty expensive for a farmer's market, I was able to get cheaper produce at Trader Joe's. But if you're here try the sausage baguette, it's hot and fresh! The market area is broken up into several strips, some in tents and some under wooden canopy-like things. There's a shopping center nearby too, so you could take a stroll around the area if you get bored--the market isn't very big.
google avatar

Keith S.

Yelp
Love going to the farmers market, the vendors are great to get to know, Darlene's baked goods are great, try a mini pie, or lemon bar. The honey from Beekeepers Secret is worth stocking up on. But my favorite booth is Guerrero's, pick up some organic apples or seasonal fruit and the best salsa ever from the reason I keep returning to the market, Jesus Guerrero, you will never encounter anyone who makes you laugh and smile as much as he can.
google avatar

Anne M.

Yelp
I look forward to the Redmond market each year. Good selection of vendors, and nicely spaced out. June is usually when it gets a bit more busy with vendors since a lot more fresh produce is available. Nice for a stroll around on a sunny day! Parking available in various parking lots close to the market too and the town center nearby.
google avatar

Yelp
I've been going to this farmers' market regularly, every summer, for the past 15+ years. I like it for many, many reasons: -easy parking (multiple on-street parking, garages and lots here at Redmond Town Center), as well as easy walking access off the Sammamish Slough Trail (my favorite!) -large variety of produce stands, local artisans and vendors of crafts, regional foods, and flowers -really good (way above average) prepared food kiosks and vendors Excellent "regulars" here: Joyce the "beeL lady (selling honey products), the "cookie" lady (omg, her baked cookies and bars are to DIE for!), the glass bottle guy (I brought him an empty bottle of Redmond wine. It was a limited edition bottle with a nice label of Redmond. And he made it into a fantastic flat platter which we display year-round), the apple guy (he always gives my kids free samples, and they say they're the sweetest apples they've ever had), and the kettle corn people (Soooo good, who can resist?). I must say, the folks here have always been friendly and nice and just happy to be there.

Jamie N.

Yelp
Loved the live music. Great fresh produce and gorgeous flowers! I left my reusable bags at home and there weren't any for sale, but they said they will be having some to sell in the future!

Yelp
Great first impression! It was their Opening Day, 60° on Cinco De Mayo! Parking is wonderful. You have the option of street or structure parking. I have been to a variety of Market's such as University, Fremont, Lake City, Lake Forest, Ballard, Broadway. Of these I have found a trend of vendors which leaves me to compare them by location or by those few vendors that are only at select locations. That being said, this is my review based on those markets alone. Redmond has the largest following for entertainment. Floral variety is the biggest I've seen. As well as the only location providing fresh Kettle Corn and Wise Guys Sandwiches. "Patty Pan Grill" is at most locations where they cook up local greens and tamales but here at Redmond they have "Hermosa". If you are looking for awesome tamales, Hermosa is the place to go! I don't live very close and attend markets regularly, so I wont be visiting Redmond quite often. The only reason I'd return would be for the tamales at Hermosa or if I am in the area! Everything else is available to me at the other markets at closer locations. ...but Thank You Redmond! I enjoyed myself and am glad to have the option!

Yelp
What a fun way to spend mom's day! I brought my mom here last Saturday afternoon to celebrate the day. Great place for family, singles, pups. Plenty of street and garage parking. Love, love, love the free entertainment too! Lots of places to sit and people watch or grub down on those food purchases. I'm always in the market to find local crafts, great eats, and produce. Most vendors here take plastic, but its always nice to have cash handy which makes for easy transactions.
google avatar

Yelp
Great farmers market, lots of organic choices, some wonderful homemade cheeses, and can't forget the northwest smoked salmon. Some great food stands also. and a nice place to stroll around to find Some handmade goodies. A fun stop !

Yelp
I'm not joking when I say my heart very nearly broke when the market ended over the past weekend. This place is not only a wonderful source of delicious fresh, organic, and local fruits and vegetables but also a fun place to visit every Saturday because there's always something new going on. I found the vendors to be diverse, friendly, and entertaining with great produce and food. Here you can find great pears, vegetables, fresh egg nog, delicious baked goods, tasty hazelnuts, and beautiful flower arrangements. If you stop by, make sure you don't miss out on the tamale stand because nothing will make a Saturday afternoon like a fresh tamale piled high with spicy salsa. One star less because there aren't a lot of places to sit down (something I noticed that improved over time) and it can be downright miserable when it starts to rain in the fall months. Make sure to bundle up and bring an umbrella if you do decide to brave the rain! The market quickly became part of my Saturday morning ritual and will remain my go-to place for produce during the market season which is May through October.
google avatar

Wickerlady V.

Yelp
Easy parking, nice shops. Love the stall that sells baskets of begonias, breathtaking display! Minus one star for absence of any vegetarian food. Lots of great meat and fish options for lunch but there is nothing at all for vegetarians except crepes.

Yelp
I know it is almost summer when the Redmond Saturday Market is back. It was the opening day of the season tday and things were in full swing, minus alot of veggies as it is still early on. Great place to pick up fresh jams, baked goods that are out of this world and flowers for every room in your house. I was impressed with the organic stands such asFull Circle farms-one of my all time favorites! It is not a huge market, but just the perfect size to spend an hour or two on a Saturday morning.
google avatar

Jane D.

Yelp
I love this market! Such a good variety of vendors, I always end up spending too much money. I am always sad when the season is over. I wish they had a year round space.
google avatar

Alice A.

Yelp
Okay market with lots of artsy booths but I only saw 3 that were selling fruits and vegetables. The 3 that had veggies were only selling onions, garlic and asparagus, not much variety at all. It's pet friendly and saw many dogs. They had a hazelnut stand which I've never seen before at other farmers markets so that was cool

Mary D.

Yelp
I didn't visit the Redmond Saturday Market in 2020, due to the pandemic. Today I checked out its new venue outside of Overlake Christian Church on Willows Road and was very impressed. This location is far superior to the market's former home in a gravel lot in downtown Redmond. Now there's plenty of parking and ample space to roam around the different booths. Since it is early in the season, there were not yet a load of produce vendors but I'm sure the selection will be greater as more crops become available. I'm looking forward to making this a regular destination.

Yelp
The Redmond Saturday Market is a jewel in this coveted part of town. The people who attend are Nerds of every stripe: Amazon, Expedia, Eddie Bauer, and of course - Microsoft. So, I encourage you all to put down your twelve-sided dice and roll on over (see what I did there?). Parking: Get in early. The market opens at 9 sharp and parking is harder to find than a working pair of lungs at a LARPing festival. The veteran market goers don't even try to park on the Redmond Town Center streets- just go to the lots and garages. But, drop your family off first at the market so they will have a nosh and avoid family squabbles. The Food: Veraci Pizza is there ( http://www.yelp.com/biz/veraci-pizza-seattle ). Oh yes, they are. They used to have a breakfast pizza that was uber-badass, but I was the primary buyer. Veraci really knows what it means to make a great Neapolitan. I've yet to meet an Italian that works there, but their pizza tastes as good (if not, better) than the wood fired I had in Hoboken NJ or Brooklyn. Wise Guys: Oh my. Oh My (George Takei Voice *emphasis added*)! The sandwich vendor looks like he's out of Central Casting from a New Jersey Italian Chefs casting call. He sautés homemade sausage in wine with peppers, onions, and his homemade sauce. Then, he stuffs it all into a baguette. This isn't just a sandwich; it's a delivery device for the essence of the beauty of "Creation of Man", "the Mona Lisa", and Rome herself - ALL OF THAT IN A SANDWICH!!!! The sandwiches run in the neighborhood of 7 bucks, but WOW! He also has a food truck; so put on your best fedora and whip and go find it: (http://www.yelp.com/biz/wiseguy-italian-street-food-issaquah#query:wiseguys). There are copious vendors of fresh vegetables, flowers, and cheese. Also, there are duck eggs - PRO TIP: mix the duck eggs with some market bought cheddar and dill and make an omelet that will make Angels weep, which, will in turn, make stars go supernova, which in turn will create a galaxy, a little bit of gold, and eventually a local DMV. The Artisanal Goods: Homemade paper with hand crafted leather bound books. Soap that will make you think of Fight Club. Blankets woven by the hands of someone or other. I bought my daughters some Batman capes. Yes, capes! Capes will make them groovy. Lastly, someone makes fresh biscuits with jam. So, there's that.

Yelp
The vendors here are very nice, knowledgeable, and many are very creative. They have the flowers like many markets do. There is often a pottery booth which I love their work. One time I went there and they had the Humane society truck there that has a mobile adoption truck with cats and dogs for adoption. There is a cute sock monkey painter artist that sells prints and originals of sock monkeys in cool art like mona lisa etc. It's small, cute, and has what you need including your veggies and fruits for the week!

Yelp
I haven't really checked out the other markets in the area, but I don't feel the need to... this one is perfect as a neighborhood market, and if I need something bigger, I'd go to Pike Place. Parking right next to it gets a little crowded, but there's ample garage parking if you're willing to walk a block. Things I really like: -The purple pepper guy. He's always right next to the covered area and in July/August, he's got these cool purple bell peppers! Sure, they end up greenish when cooked, but still! Also, a bunch of other vendors have gypsy peppers, which I discovered in this market and find to be way tastier than normal bell peppers. You don't see these in your average grocery store, and they're pretty cheap in the market. -Flowers. (BTW, just because I'm Asian and looking at the flowers does NOT mean I work there) They're cheap, similar to what you see at Pike Place, and sure do brighten up my day. -Tamales. Hermosa Mexican Food sells tamales and other items and the chicken tamale with green salsa is TO DIE FOR. They don't have a restaurant location, so the markets are the only places to get them, and I've driven over just to eat tamales before... they're that good. There's also a crepe place, the same people who have a stand by the convention center, and they're pretty good. -Time and location. It's pretty tough to make those 3-7pm weekday markets, and it's also hard for me to drive all the way to Seattle and find parking for the Pike Place or Fremont markets.

Yelp
Back in September when hubby had an interview with the company he now works for we were staying in the nearby Marriott and so the Saturday market was literally behind the hotel. We had to check out of the hotel on the Saturday so once we had checked out we headed to look at the market. We were very impressed with both the choice and quality of the items available to purchase and the People on the stalls were friendly and helpful with any enquiries we had. When we went along there was llamas and alpacas there ( I can never tell which is which mind you) which was definitely a surprise. I would love to give the market a full five stars but I am disappointed the market only runs from May to October so when we moved here it had only one week left (we were too busy to attend). I guess however, that it is seasonal and having just moved from San Diego it is a change to see that vegetables and fruits can only be grown at certain times of the year (which is the same in the UK). I would love to have given 4.5 stars.

Yelp
It's probably because this year the weather has been so messed up, but the produce here was sad. Really sad. Sure, the flowers were nice, but I was hoping to see tents filled with the stuff. As it stands, most of even the 'produce' tents didn't have a bunch. Good looking lettuce stuff, alright asparagus, but the cherries and peas and garlic? Sad! As far as farmer's markets go, there is a bunch of stuff here that I wouldn't associate with farmers. Blown glass, shrubbery, soaps, lotions, pies, etc. Maybe I need to expand my horizons. I like seeing jam/spreads/pickled whatever at a farmer's market. I approve. Local honey? Yes! Christmas ornaments in June? I might stop by again, the prices weren't bad. Hopefully it will rock out in July.

Yelp
This is supposedly the largest farmer's market on the Eastside & I guess I can see that. There is a good variety of various produce vendors there, so you always have your choice. There are a lot of locally grown produce and the majority of them are organic produce which is a nice touch. Make sure you know what's in season as the selection (& price) does vary as the weeks go on as it should. There are a few food vendors (kettle corn, wood fired pizza, crepes, hawaiian ice, tamales/tacos, this meatball stuffed baguette thingy ($8), little coffee stand, as well as a few other smaller baked goods vendors. They try to have weekly events for the market goers at the "stage" each week so that's a nice touch. Overall, it's a good place to try some locally grown produce, talk to the growers themselves to get their take on how they like to prepare it, how they grow it, when things are in season, & in general, support the local growers. Either cash or credit, certain merchants have the ability to take credit, not sure about all of them though.

Yelp
I love farmers markets. This one in Seattle was even better. My bestie and her mom( my second family) took me along. I wasn't able to buy what I really wanted due to plane restrictions but I had a few samples and sent for them after I returned home. My baby girl opened every one of my 8 jars just to taste them but eh, I really couldn't blame her. They're delicious mustards with different flavors. They are almost gone. But I'll be back!

Yelp
Prices are on the higher side and some vendors don't have prices for their produce written anywhere! Loved the tamalis and the shaved ice stand

Yelp
Come here all the time, not a huge variety of things to eat but the options that are there are all delicious.

Yelp
I was disappointed going here because I'm used to other markets in the area with cheaper prices. The variety and number of vendors was nice, but I didn't want to buy anything with such high prices. I have bought plenty from markets in the past, but this one was a quick walk-through with nothing that really sold me. I did like the food booths and music, though.

Yelp
I'm absolutely sold on farmer's markets! To me the produce tastes so much fresher and better than store-bought produce. In addition, there are items you'll never find in stores. Today I sampled a little tomato that is a blend between a tomatillo and a strawberry, sounds odd but it was delicious - I never tasted anything like it before. It's also fun talking to the farmer's about how to prepare produce, where it was grown, etc. I'm looking forward to the variety of apples that will arrive this fall and hoping they'll have my favorite apple - ashmead's kernel. I also liked the food at the tamales stand and that they offered a vegan option.

Yelp
Between May and October I almost exclusively shop here. Delicious farm-fresh organic veggies, humane organic meats and eggs, exotic local cheese... need I go on?

Yelp
Fabulous market. One of the best ones on the Eastside. I wish that we were lucky enough to have a farmer's market like Olympia does that stays open multiple days. It's the gold standard for markets, but not local. Well worth a visit if you are in Olympia Thursday-Sunday. Redmond Farmer's market is struggling to keep its current location. They believe that they will be able to return in the same location for 2015. October 25th 2014 is the last day of the market for this year. Some of the vendors are planning to continue selling their produce in the empty Border's Bookstore nearby for another month or so if you are suffering from market withdrawal. It's going to be a huge loss for the City of Redmond if the Market can't renew its lease, or find another location. We attend this market every Saturday morning to purchase super fresh and flavorful produce, most of it grown in fertile and sunny Eastern Washington. We also wander over to Redmond Town Center for the weekly Exotic Car Show that is held most Saturdays, weather permitting. It starts about 9am and is over in a couple of hours. We live about equal distance from the Redmond Market and the Issaquah Market. For 2014 the Issaquah parking situation is horrible. People bring carts and wagons to haul their produce back to their car that might be parked a mile away. We've stopped attending that market even though it's more on our typical Saturday morning route. The performances at the Redmond market are fun. The only major complaint with the Redmond Market is their policy of allowing dogs. Nothing spoils a fun trip to the market than having dogs snapping at each other, fighting and tripping people with their long leashes. Happens every week. Issaquah and most markets do not allow dogs. It was tempting to take a star off just for the dog policy, but I enjoy the market too much not to give it five stars...
