16 Seattle Spots to Enjoy Bombay Sapphire Sparkling Lemon This Summer | Eater

"In one of the few historic buildings in downtown Redmond, this bar and grill delivers on the classic pub experience, with all the pub-grub favorites on the menu plus some modern twists — and many dishes get discounted during the daily happy hour. While there are two dozen beers on tap, Redmond’s also serves a selection of killer cocktails, including one which combines Bombay Sapphire gin with Luxardo Maraschino Originale and Chartreuse." - Vox Creative

Have been here for dinner mostly but stopped in for breakfast for the first time and glad we did. The staff is always sweet and accommodating to our needs. For breakfast I tried their eggs Benedict with a side of sausage patty and my partner got the country fried steak with a side of French toast. The eggs Benedict were a 8/10, ham to the rest of it was uneven. Good but off. I fell in love with the house potatoes. Must have. My partner rated his meal a 6/10. Didn’t blow him away but enjoyed the meal. I gave it a 7.5/10, the house gravy was a bit plain for me but the streak, chefs kiss. For dinner I highly highly recommend the Mac and cheese with pulled pork and Brussels sprouts. Good sauce and good portion of meat for the Mac . They add a couple of sliced Granny Smith apples which adds a nice touch. The Brussels sprouts are just a chefs kiss. Try all of their dessert haven’t found one I didn’t like yet.

This spot was okay. We found free on street parking right out front and there is outdoor seating. We didn’t see any off street parking. Seems like they were short staffed for a Saturday morning. Service was friendly, they came over with waters to start. We had the custard French toast (didn’t seem much different than non custard French toast according to the person eating it), veggie omelette (came out hot, not enough cheese for myself, most of the cheese was on one side, potatoes great) and the Redmonds scramble (according to them; the cheese was an odd choice, there was not much sausage (think 3 slices then cut into pieces) so it didn’t add to the overall flavor of the scramble, potatoes were gooooood) I could have asked for the hot sauce I saw on another table but never did. Thats on me.

Google
The photos and four-star reviews intrigued us to try this place, but unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals I’ve had for the price. While the sockeye salmon tasted good, the portion was very small. The mashed potatoes were cold, hard, and dry, and the vegetables weren’t cooked properly. The Redmond mac and cheese was also a letdown—watery, cold, with tiny noodles and an odd flavor. On top of that, the drinks weren’t great, and our waiter barely checked in on us. Considering the price point, the online presentation, and the positive reviews, we were genuinely shocked at how poor the overall quality was.

Google
Good quiet place to catch some lunch. The service is very good and friendly. Nice beer, wine choices along with a full bar. We ordered the prime rib dip 4/5 and truffle fries 3/5, grilled chicken sandwich 4/5 and Parmesan/herb fries 4/5. The fries should be combined to be Parmesan/herb/truffle fries.

Google
Best French toast I’ve ever had. The potatoes were amazing too. Crispy on the outside, soft and warm on the inside. Chilaquiles was okay (but I might be biased since I’m from Tucson). Has tvs for sports games. Bartender was friendly. Wasn’t crazy loud when I went.

Google
RBG is always a safe bet. The food is great, the servers are always very friendly, and they have an awesome selection of draft beer and cider. Good place to watch a game or play trivia. But is a bit dark inside. There are several dog friendly tables out front.

Google
What an unexpected pleasure !! Dropped in for lunch, was politely greeted by the team and seated in a booth. Diane, was very busy and handled us like a pro !! Order taken promptly, with drinks included. She continued to check on us as our food arrived hot and fresh. She stopped by to top of our drinks and inquired with us when our meal was done. Be sure to include this hidden gem for breakfast, lunch or dinner when in old town Redmond 😋 It won't disappoint 🙌

Google
Redmond's Bar & Grill is a pub style restaurant right off Redmond Way. Street parking can be difficult here sometimes depending on the time of day. They have a few tables outside but probably 3 to 4 dozen tables inside plus ample bar seating with a bunch of TVs. Their menu is a good size, prices are a bit high but portions are decent. The food is good there, burger and French dip were great. The service is awesome here, very friendly and helpful. Overall a great experience, would visit again.

Yelp
Sat at bar, great ambassadors serving the bar! Helped with choices of great brew selection and OMG- had signature sandwich- Oink and Moo- bam! Great atmosphere and great staff and food ! Don't miss it when in the Seattle zone in Redmond for business, but coming back to play and immerse!

Yelp
This place was a favorite in the summer for HH. The outdoor seating area is so cute, with lights and flowers. The staff are always very welcoming and attentive. Very friendly too. The food is also good. Not just the standard bar faire. Like the lettuce wraps are unique and delicious, and chicken satay too. Definitely recommend checking them out when in the area.

Yelp
Redmonds seemed to be one of the few places in town to catch a game on TV so I ended up here multiple times throughout the week while visiting. Taylor at the bar was super friendly and remembered everyone that came in. I expected basic bar food but was very surprised at how good the food was. Nachos were some of the best I've had and the wings were great as well. To top it all off they have a great selection of local craft beers!

Yelp
Awesome casual spot where we come as a family or just as a couple. Great food and awesome service, and the menu is such a good value. Bartenders are also very good and we love sitting on the patio or inside. Brunch is always a hit too.

Yelp
Go to spot in Redmond when we can't decide on where to eat. A good variety of choices and conveniently located in the center of town. Prime discount is a plus. Shuffle board entertains the kids till the food shows up and TV's galore.

Yelp
Service / Staff : 5 stars Cleanliness: 5 stars Ambiance: 4 stars I wanted to love this place because I have had pretty good take out from this spot. First time dining in, and while the experience was great, the food was nearly a 1 star. I just couldn't with the rice I was served. It was spoiled. I could smell and taste it. The dish was also pretty salty, and the lettuce it was served with was wilted and small in portion for "lettuce wrap" being the concept of eating it. I think / hope this was just a fluke experience but yeah, gross.

Yelp
This neighborhood bat and grill is a great place to grab a game. They have a huge screen and offer food and drinks specials when local sports teams play. They also have an expansive Happy Hour, and additional food and drinks specials throughout the week, which are posted on their website. If you're looking for a casual spot to enjoy some bar food while watching a game, this is a good option. Parking is available on the street most days.

Yelp
I come here during happy hours after I get out of my second job. I really like coming over here. The service is amazing. The food is good and the drinks as well. I usually come before 6 o'clock, but they always get me in and stuff like give me the same price for the happy hour so I love that right there, I will continue to come here at this place. I want to try the burgers because they seem really good over here.

Yelp
The menu had many options and our food came out fast. We didn't get a photo of it but the Chillies on horseback was delicious! The patio was dog friendly and had a great atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive.

Yelp
Food is so so but it is a bar like setting. The flat bread was lacking in flavor. A lot of cheese melted on the crust without much sauce or character from the sausage. Aside from that, the service was on it and friendly and the location clean and well maintained. The blue cheese dressing on the side salad was fantastic and I regretted not ordering a salad instead!
google avatar

Chris S.

Yelp
Nice little local Redmond bar with ice cold beer and a solid selection of bar food. Many local beers on tap. Service was friendly and plenty of TVs to catch your favorite sports team.

Yelp
So, randomly I wanted a chicken Gyro, and no, this is not the first place you'd think of for a gyro.... but that's what I got and I've had it twice now and so yummy! HOWEEEVVEEERR....what I'd REALLY like to endorse is their Spicy Ahi Soy Sesame Salad!!!!! I've told EVERYONE about this. Perfection.
google avatar

Yelp
4.5 stars, this place is amazing! Great food and staff is amazing as well! Their burgers are very delicious and I definitely recommend them. Additionally their sliders are the perfect portion size for kids.

Daryl B.

Yelp
Well, I had the Reuben sandwich for $25... $25 for a sandwich and french fries the french fries were thoroughly soaked in oil so that they were not only limp. They've kind of made me a little bit sick from all the oil....... The sandwich meat was cut way too thick... And tough as hell... I'm really disappointed and I want my money back to tell you the truth. I'll never go back there... I'll never try any of their other food now.....

Yelp
TL;DR: typical sports bar. Parking: street-side only. Atmosphere: typical sports bar feel. Menu: straight forward and descriptive, no images for the visually stimulated. Service: wait to be seated, order at the table, check brought to you, you will be watered. Kid Friendly: kid's menu with crayons, high chair, plastic cup with straw, Cubano: a nice blend of salty and sour with a hint of spice, is great with the fries but is going to be coma-inducing because of all the carbs haha. Side Quinoa Salad: lightly flavored and fluffy with a hint of tang. I was a fan of the little crunchy and chewy bits of nuts and dried fruit. A nice palate cleanser in between bites of salty or spicy meals. Things I ordered ToGo: Chicken Skewers: chicken was on the dry side and didn't have much flavor by itself despite its vibrant yellow coloring. I also had a piece that was undercooked and was still pink and red inside--I promptly spat it out and microwaved it to finish cooking it off. A bit scary if you're not paying attention. I did enjoy the cilantro sauce that it comes with though. Fish and Chips: totally not worth the $18.50. Only came with 3 pieces of fish that were the size of a grade schooler's palm. The breading was nice and crispy still but the cod inside was a bit dry and almost had a rubbery texture. Also, the tartar sauce that I was given didn't even fill up 1/3 of the already small sauce container--I ran out of sauce before I could say, "fish and chips". The garlic parmesan fries had a good flavor but were very soggy and limp when it arrived via delivery. This would definitely be a better item to order while dining in versus ToGo.

Yelp
Stopped at RGB for lunch after an 18 mile bike ride to Redmond via Burke Gilman / Sammamish River Trail. It's not often that a burger sounds good, especially when there's breakfast fare on the menu! My husband and I both ordered the same thing; The Bomber. A burger with ALLLLL the fixin's! Bacon, fried egg, Redmond's cheese sauce, crispy onions, buffalo sauce (mine without tomato & lettuce) and roasted garlic mayo on a pretzel bun. Served with parmesan garlic french fries.) The burger was one of the best I've had!! My only complaint was the buffalo sauce. It overpowered the burger. Next time I will skip the buffalo sauce! You can order regular fries or Parmesan garlic. The Parmesan garlic were evil. And by evil, I mean sooooo good. Great service, great food, great atmosphere! I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Where do I start? My entire experience here was like a warm cozy blanket on a rainy day ( just what the doctor ordered!) We had a whole slew of apps and I will post my comments best to worst... 1) Chilies on Horseback - what's not to love about spicy Jalapeños wrapped in bacon filled with cream cheese - super delicious 2) Tempura Dragon Rolls had such a fresh crispy flavor and texture. Will try it again if I get a chance 3) Chicken Satay Skewers - Excellent! 4) Fries were alright 5) Flatbread - meh I really enjoyed my Fish Tacos BUT felt like the amount of fries with the meal were copious - my colleagues tried the burgers and really enjoyed their meal too. This will remain a staple anytime I will visit Seattle

Yelp
The waiter was fantastic. I had been working in the heat for over 12 hours at the Redmond Derby Days without a break. I was ready for a break and some sustenance. He anticipated my needs. Large glass of water, gin gimlet, medium rare steak and lots of veggies. Delicious!
google avatar

Danny D.

Yelp
The service is so good here. They're so friendly and accommodating and don't treat you like a nuisance. Also, and this is really important, they have FRESH CREAM for their coffee (if you come here for brunch). And the coffee is good. And food is super good as well and prices are on par for the area .... My current go to for breakfast or nachos anytime.

Yelp
Was a good bar and grill, I had the jumbilaya and it didn't disappoint. We had a big group and they got us right in, even though the place was really busy.

William B.

Yelp
Taylor is always friendly and helpful! She goes out of her way to make your experience wonderful.

Susannah P.

Yelp
We love Redmond's for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.. Great vibe, good food, great service. It is our go-to place.
google avatar

John G.

Yelp
We really liked our experience, our waiter was excellent and the food wasn't bad either. We had the fish tacos which were recommended and they didn't disappoint, they were delicious! We also had the French prime dip with truffle fries, which was not my favorite. The clam chowder tasted a bid fishy for me, but my wife liked it. Maybe one suggestion for the fish tacos would be to cut the fish in 2-3 thinner strips as it was a bit challenging to eat the large piece of fish inside the taco shell and keep everything together.
google avatar

Mike P.

Yelp
We will come back the next time we are in Redmond looking for some upscale bar food. This was our first time, the service was a tad slow but nothing that would keep us away. We came during happy hour so it was a bit busy. The food was a bit salty, next time perhaps some traditional burgers or sandwiches vs the buns so that we can get the complete experience. Redmond parking was a bit difficult; we have to drive in and we did spend some time looking for a spot to park.
google avatar

Eldridge M.

Yelp
RBG has been one of my routine lunch spots during the work week. Definitely recommend. I typically get tacos and they have yet to disappoint (no matter which version I get). Typically, not over crowded and in the sunny seasons, there are outdoor seating options. There is off street parking but also a lot that kiddie corners RBG that has dedicated parking. Service is typically good. I have had great service and I have service where my server goes missing for long periods of time. The norm is great service and I never hesitate about coming here. You'll also find large TV screens to watch sports and a very robust beer selection. If you're on the Eastside, I definitely recommend making this one of your "go-to" spots.

Mariusz B.

Yelp
I'm a regular here. Great service, well-balanced menu which I think is better than an average bar.
google avatar

Yelp
A group of 7 of us were converging at Redmond's Bar & Grill at 7:00 on a Saturday. We'd called to check if reservations were required or necessary, and they said not to worry. That said, the place was slammed when we arrived, and we waited over 45 minutes (outside in the cold). I would have preferred having a reservation, since all of us were on time and waiting at 7:00. Note: parking is a real bear in the area. If you can't find anything in the immediate area, park over at Redmond Town Center and walk over. Awesome selection of beers on tap. It'd be a great place to hang and have a couple of pints. Lots of food options on the menu. I was going to get the fish tacos, but then switched last minute to the fish and chips. The fish pieces had a good batter, but they were a little small, and a little tough. The chips were meh. Kind of regret not getting the tacos; someone else at the table had gotten them and raved about them. This place is one of my friend's favorites, so I'm likely to be back (although on my own accord, I probably wouldn't). Let's see how it goes the next time! :)

Yelp
It was a pouring rainy Friday late night. I walked into a gentleman who appears to be the manager, not so welcoming, but did his due diligence to ask me how many in my party and that I will be a few minutes to be seated. It took forever to get a server to take our orders. First of all, there is the QR code that is by UNI (?) Where you have to download to order from them. How inconvenient is that. I chose to not download so we waited for a while. But the servers were all super friendly and amazing. I had chicken wings and they were fat and juicy. I also had truffle fries that was ok. My friend had a burger that seemed very flat and dry. I don't think I will come back
google avatar

Yelp
For a great friendly and casual spot, this place hits all the marks! Good variety of food We love the Bar seating and service is always outgoing and friendly. They have outdoor seating on the street as well. Great place to watch sports for sure. They also have a happy hour menu and do breakfast on the weekends. Only down side is parking can be tricky.

Keri C.

Yelp
This is my go-to. Good variety of food on the menu, always tasty flavorful. Weekend specials keep things fresh and delicious. The staff is friendly and skilled. Jessie in particular is thoughtful, considerate and funny - we appreciate her cheerful demeanor. If something is not right, she'll make it right. Be sure to check out the happy hour menu; great food (try the skewers!), great portions, great price! Keep up the good work!!
google avatar

Amanda M.

Yelp
I'm always on the fence about this one bc I feel like I have an unspoken beef with one of the bartenders bc she's always in a foul mood. It's really hit or miss with the service but the food always seems to be consistent with expectations of what you're getting. It really depends when you go on the type of server & service you'll get. I've kinda burnt out on going here so it'll be a bit before I return...it depends on the mood of the staff if they will also let you order close to bar close on food to go.
google avatar

Cristin G.

Yelp
We had a great server and booth, and I really like the atmosphere for watching sports. But the food wasn't great. Burger and fries should be great, but we had cold fries and over-cooked burgers. One order for fish and chips had cold fries and fish so over-cooked it wasn't edible. Server was super-nice about it, and took 25% off the cost of the fish and brought out warm fries. But the kitchen wasn't great today.
google avatar

Bela I.

Yelp
Good beer selection and good service the food is ok nothing special but good! I recommend for a get together with friends or an after work outing.
google avatar

Gisela F.

Yelp
Great food and deals!! I love their happy hour menu it is delicious and so worth it! I like that they have very different types of food but everything is pretty good. My favorites are the sushi and the ahi tuna. They also have taco Tuesdays deals. The last time I ordered the ahi tuna salad and loved it!! Their ahi tuna is great! The service is also very attentive and friendly! I will be back again for sure!!
google avatar

Pierre B.

Yelp
Their bomber burger is out of this world, its too good. Also they have a hot cider my wife really enjoyed, any hot drink and you'll win over my wife, but i require quality in my beef patties and Redmond's Bar and Grill got me covered :)

M T.

Yelp
I LOVE Redmond's bar and grill. Trivia on Tuesdays is the best in the area and always busy. I typically get the chicken skewers and peanut sauce, for brunch I get the breakfast sandwich which is amazing, and their burgers are good also. My boyfriend loves the bomber burger. I recently got the French dip sandwich, and while good, only half the sandwich had meat. I ended up putting all the meat on one half of the sandwich to make it extra meaty but was a little disappointed. Doesn't change my overall score of 5 stars though. Service is always friendly and accommodating.
google avatar

Alissa S.

Yelp
Food was okay. Beer selection wasn't great. But they do have trivia etc which I love.
google avatar

Pay B.

Yelp
Come here often but today was alittle different. Our waiter Davis was awesome. Low key guy that was super attentive and helpful. Great experience dining outside. Hopefully he is here next time we pop in. Food was amazing bomber burger and Cobb salad can't go wrong.
google avatar

Sarah J.

Yelp
When Matador is too busy, we come here. It's a great spot, usually not too busy and has good food. We've ordered a lot on their menu but we really love the fries and nachos. Nachos come in a big plate whether you get half or full nachos, it's always filling. The dessert here is pretty good too. The staff is usually nice and accommodating. The only downside is we go Friday nights and they don't have a happy hour at that time. We would go here more if they had late night happy hours, and I'm sure they'd get more business too. Just my opinion.

Mike I.

Yelp
Our weekly family restaurant! Such a wonderful place. Tonight, we had a new server, Diana, who was so great. Happy, timely, and on top of everything. Great ambiance, cocktails, food, and TVs for football. We had the brussel sprouts, chicken skewers, street tacos, french dip, rye old fashion, and Northwest Mule. Jake the manager is always on top of it. Changes TVs to COUGS, keeps everything running smooth. Busy place but 95% of time, no wait for a table on Friday or Saturday at 6-7pm. We bring our kids, they get a kids menu. Great with kids.
google avatar

Thomas B.

Yelp
Stopped by this place early afternoon on a Friday. The pros include it being dog friendly, appears clean inside, and the staff are friendly. The two star are attributed to the staff that works here on the service side, they're great! That said, the food is lacking, especially for the cost. We ordered the artichoke dip to start and I've never seen that much olive oil in this type of dish. If I'm honest, I am unaware of eating a spinach artichoke dip that contained olive oil. This dish appeared to be about 30-40% olive oil. My wife ordered the salmon and I ordered the PB burger. We were both underwhelmed with our meals. Both dishes were overcooked and lacked flavor. If the PB burger contains peanut butter, it was unbeknownst to me. Also, I asked for the burger to come medium and it came well done. The salmon lacked any flavor and was tough. Also, this is a type of place that has a ton of taps for different draft beers but doesn't change out the keg until it blows. My beer was bland and flat. Staff here is amazing, the food and drinks are subpar. Will not return.
google avatar

Monica C.

Yelp
This place isn't dazzling but it's a good place to have a causal meal with family or friends. Plenty of regular American fare with a full bar and some large screen tvs.
google avatar

Jill B.

Yelp
We came for a Friday night date and had a great time! We showed up right at 6 and happy hour had unfortunately just ended but lots of tables had opened up so we were seated right away. They don't take reservations. It's a nice mix of bar seating and booths for families. I got the Leary Way lemonade which was fine but I don't need to order it again. I really enjoy cocktails and want super jazzed by their cocktail menu. We split the pretzel which was warm and perfectly cooked. My husband really liked the chipotle mayo sauce with the pretzel (so much so he asked for extra of it for his dinner). I got the Thai chicken flatbread and I loved it. The mix of peanut sauce and sriracha with all the toppings was quite enjoyable and a perfect amount of food. My husband got the fish tacos but the "pico" was mostly tomatoes and had way too many for his liking. The ambiance was great and it's a beautiful venue.
google avatar

Benjamin L.

Yelp
Just want to share that they have one of the best weekend breakfast/brunch menus in the area. It's become our go-to breakfast place on the weekends. My wife loves the Eggs Benedict and I am a fan of the Redmond's Scramble (eggs, sausage, onions, peppers, cheese). Their breakfast potatoes are also fantastic, well-seasoned, crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. They boast 24 draft beer options, and plenty of wine/cocktails too. The restaurant is your standard sports bar/restaurant; spacious and not overcrowded. There is also outdoor seating. The waitstaff is super friendly.

Ashlyn W.

Yelp
I love Redmond bar and grill! They have a very fun atmosphere, good drinks and food. Good to dine in as a family or to belly up to the bar. They also occasionally have distillery nights which are fun to attend. I got the dragon role and pretzel which were both great, jake provided a great drink recommendation (old forester old fashion) and Taylor was a great bartender!
google avatar

Lucien D.

Yelp
Had a fantastic time here for a mellow St. Patrick's Day celebration. The Guinness Stew was incredible- I can see why it's in demand! Davis was a wonderful server, and I loved the patio atmosphere. Can't wait to come back for brunch!
google avatar

Mayu D.

Yelp
I would not come here excitedly for food unless I have no other options than McDonald's or Dairy Queen for late night, but at least they are not bad. I'd come here for craft beers though.
google avatar

Meagan P.

Yelp
So, our bar drinks arrived quickly (red wine/draft beer), but our server was hard to track down. She arrived just as we were trying to order on our phones (two phones required an app download, but one didn't - so confusing). One person in our party ordered a root beer float, which the server said she could handle. That root beer float came as a deconstructed DIY, ending with a hot glass from the dishwasher that we were warned not to crack with cold things. The Lettuce Wraps were my favorite items we ordered. Saucy, full of flavor, and excellent accompaniments. We ate outside on the patio. The atmosphere was a little strained, with no lights, no heat, and tent walls that werent pulled taut to the pavement (so they flapped with the flux of traffic). Also, the litter on the floor was distracting. I would definitely be back to grab a beer with a friend, but I won't be coming back for date night or a meal out with friends.
