This place really was impressive, the customer service was simply amazing. Staff made you feel welcomed. Treating you with upmost respect, to have a reasonably affording meal on the beach front was awesome! The food was tasty, the atmosphere peaceful, also they accept credit, bank, and Apple Pay, makes like so much easier.

Google
Great food but expensive. You can get the same food for a cheaper price next door. If you want a nice quiet place away from the crowd, this may be the place. Sat right next to the window, and the sound of the wave makes everything better. We had a party of more than 6, and there is an automatic 15% gratitude fee, which is okay, but service could have been better. They barely checked on us until we went up and asked for assistance. Typical boiled and steam seafood, not very Asian for being a Korean owned restaurant. Seafood is great but I wish there was more options to how the seafood can be cooked. Spent more than $475 for a party of 8.

Google
Came to Redondo just to get out of the house walked the Pier stopped at the crab house and the food was very good, enjoyed it the scenery was awesome. Just kind of expensive. But we did not complain we had a good day. Thank you.

Google
A good restaurant with beautiful view of the beach. This place has a lot variety of live seafood korean style.

Google
We came here because of the beach ocean view while dining at the table. The food was average. Just ordered some simple food (burger & steamed large shrimps) because their price was quite high.

Google
If you ever visit Redando beach you should stop by this place. The food was out of this world. Fresh and delicious, the service was excellent and the price was not bad for all the food we ordered. We started off with the fresh live shrimp and abalone it was yummy. Shrimp head fried was very good also. Give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

Google
Nice views of the beach, friendly service. Food was good. It's a good choice if you want to dine indoors. We went during the weekday so it was not busy. We spent around 194 which included the required 15% gratuity tip. When we visit redondo pier this is the to go spot to order fresh crab for my family. It is clean and the prices reasonable.

Google
This is a good place to try seafood but the pier makes it definitely very overpriced. The seafood is tasty but I’m not sure if it’s amazing. Is it the location or the food quality? Therefore I’d suggest use to best judgement. There might be other locations off the pier with better food and prices. Everything on the pier is over the top as if you are buying pearls and gold. You can buy pearls from vendors but why pay seafood 🦞 as if it’s gold?

Yelp
Honestly the reason for the 4 stars is the location of this restaurant. It's right at the heart of Redondo Beach Pier. For as long as I remember from 30+ years ago until now this restaurant has been here. When you do sit down you get an amazing view of the beach and all the beach goers which is always nice. The food was pretty good, a little on the pricy side but because of the location it was worth it. The crab is always set to market rate so it will vary every time we go. That's always my favorite thing to eat. It's low calories plus you get to use a wooden hammer to hammer away. The service is also really good. Our server came around frequently to refill our water and check in with us. Honestly if you are in the mood for steamed crab, an amazing view, and a good time, I would recommend this place. Only reason it's not a 5 star is that they are priced a little high and the place looks a little dated.

Yelp
CRAB HOUSE VS PACIFIC FISH My fam and I been going to Pacific Fish for centuries (lol) but we decided to try Crab House today. I was pleasantly surprised. PROS - they have a lot more variety of food on their menu. Cajun, Hawaiian garlic shrimp, fried whole fish, clam chowder, corn on cob etc. - no crazy wait- large spacious dining room - ajumas were thoughtful and brought out the fries quickly knowing it was for my hungry toddler - like a true Korean restaurant they gave us some service too! Crab was $29.99/lb and each crab was about 2 lbs. Tasted great just like Pacific Fish. We didn't get to try their sashimi or their spicy fish soup but I think Pacific Fish might be better in that category since they're always busy and probably sell out faster. So if you're looking for variety of food not just Korean crab and dishes try out Crab House

David Y.

Yelp
We opted for their fresh Korean-style sashimi and crab. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and flavorful! The quality of the seafood truly shined. Being one of the popular Korean spots on the pier for this style of sashimi and crab, they definitely delivered.

Yelp
It's a great location of a restaurant that over looks the beach. That's all to it though. The food was not only expensive but mediocre at best. My family and I came and spent about $181 on food pre tip and tax (15% automatic gratuity). The soups were decent but honestly you can get way better ones in Ktown. We didn't order any crab legs because it seemed like such a rip off. Instead, we got a couple appetizers and main dishes. The best would probably be the steamed baby octopus but to be fair, you can't really mess up steamed octopus. The Cajun seafood was too salty and oily, the shrimp were mushy, and half the clams were missing the meat. The clam chowder bowl tasted like it was canned and I don't think I got any bite of clam at all. The calamari was one of the biggest rip offs. There were maybe 6-7 pieces of squid accompanied by 7-8 fries, and a single spoon of coleslaw. The service was also not very welcoming.

Mark R.

Yelp
It's not cheap. MP for a live crab was $29/lb. The crabs were about 2 pounds. I ordered a pitcher of Modelo $17. They automatically add 15% tip. My lunch was $95 with tax and tip. It's worth coming here versus the outdoor Seafood market on the other side of the pier. The other place was so crowded with long lines. All the tables were filled. Someone has to find a spot and reserve it while the rest of your party orders the food. I remember the days my family used to take us kids here for crab. My Filipino parents and relatives would bring a rice cooker and their vinegar. Both places sell rice for $2. I like the Crab House because there were no lines. The views of the beach were spectacular. It's a bit more expensive but worth it. There a plenty of open tables. You have waitresses to serve you. The bathroom is clean and accessible. It's indoors so you don't feel the cold chill or hot sun. You're paying about 15% more for the amenities and convenience. As far as the seafood, I figured it's market price everywhere.

Kathy X.

Yelp
This place is so scrumptious and the seafood is fresh fresh!! They fish out the seafood out of the tanks in front of your eyes and the food comes out really quick. It's a bit pricy though, the crab is ~$60/pound and each crab is about 2lbs. The fish soup is really yummy too and has a lot of flavor. The restaurant is right next to the water too, so you get to enjoy a nice view with your meal. Service is quick and friendly.

GyuRee G.

Yelp
It's in Redondo Beach pier. Great ocean view, but the food quality is not pretty great

Yau-Ru C.

Yelp
Our go-to spot for Korean spicy seafood soup. There is a nice variety of seafood inside: two types of shrimp, crab, squid, baby octopus, clams and mussels...as well as udon noodle, veggies and tofu. Side of rice and kimchi completes the dish, big enough for 2-3 to share. My son likes the kalbi short rib plate that is served with French fries, rice and coleslaw. Beautiful view of the ocean so grab a window-side table. Service is fine. Not friendly but not rude either. You simply order and pay for your food at the counter when you enter and they will bring them over when ready. Parking at the pier parking structure can be busy on weekends so try getting here by noon.

Yelp
Redondo Beach Crab House is owned and operated by Koreans, and they have been in business for the last 20 years. Many of the reviews here complain about the service, which is fair, but I personally had a great experience with the lady running the place when I walked in. She was a bit stand-offish like any Asian mom, but warm nonetheless. She gave our table free garlic bread and definitely plugged it with the crab legs. We ordered a two pound live crab and a pound of snow crab legs; I highly recommend the live crab as it lives up to hype and it's what they are known for. The total came out to around $140 including tip. It was a bit pricier than what I am used to, but it's in a tourist area and you get to dine on the pier. This was my first time here, but it certainly won't be my last.

Yelp
First time eating at a crab house like this, I had no idea what to expect! I'm used to eating at places like The Boiling Crab / Kickin Crab in the bay, so please note this is not your typical Cajun styled crab house. It's casual, lots of space and amazing views of Redondo Beach. This is a Korean crab house, where traditionally you eat steamed crabs with their spicy gochujang sauce, sesame oil and rice, ending it with a hot bowl of seafood soup! The crabs were so meaty, the servers and restaurant owners (I think) were friendly and brought us our food fast. Overall had a great experience, sad to see some of the reviews below didn't get the same but would recommend giving this place a chance.

J M.

Yelp
How is this place not 5 stars?! Fairly priced seafood and great tasting! The seafood boil was honestly better tasting and more worth it than boiling crab. And you don't need to wait like an hour! Also, the restaurant is connected to the snack bar next door so if someone in your group isn't feeling seafood, they can order nachos or something. Great food, great view, no wait!

Mayra M.

Yelp
Supposedly, they don't want to increase their prices, but they added 15 % tip - which it would have been okay only if: 1. Their portions would have been the same as before. 2. They no longer have peanuts 3. For those who like watching TV they were all removed. 4. No more tartar sauce!! 5. I'm sure this business will be closing soon This has been our place to enjoy the view but will definitely NOT come again !!

Kwangsik P.

Yelp
I fee likely cheated by business owner. no show me ounce of scale sitting beyond cash counter, kitchen worker grabbing crab plus water splashed into plastic container on sitting scale. I requested drain water out of plastic box either can't access to see weight of crab pounds.

Dominic M.

Yelp
Great view service and seafood. Awesome place for a family meal. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the South Bay

Clinton C.

Yelp
Korean crab house that has beach view for inside seating. The Dungeness crab was 2lb so around $60 for one crab. Standard boiled. The crab still had lots of natural flavor and the yolk was really good. Really enjoyed the crab meat taste. Maybe they had some flavoring in the boiling pot. For $29/lb it is pricey but many other Asian restaurants are around that too now sadly. The service is quick and kind. The view of sitting next to the beach and ocean inside was very nice. There is mandatory 15% tip for dine in. Wouldn't go out of my way to come back but if you're already there it's a nice place to try. For parking its $2/hr and you pay first.

Jazzy B.

Yelp
Rip off for seafood and expensive. They charged $45/ib for snow crab legs and the quality was 2/5. Crab was all dark brown n murky instead of giving us nice orange ones at that price. It's only $10/ib at Ralph's. Save your money They also automatically add 15% gratuity to all checks. All they do is bring u the food. For Korean food/ soup- you can get better quality and prob $10-15 cheaper in ktown. First and last time visiting.

Gina C.

Yelp
Spent day walking around the Pier looking at the awesome ocean and boats. Came across the Crab House the selection was great but pricey. We had the fried fish muscles clams and fried shrimp. Everything was so good the view was awesome and the service was good. We will come back on our next visit to the beach when we want to take a break from the Valley.

Christina P.

Yelp
Place is always busy. Food was good and seating is difficult. It's usually first come first serve. Better to come with a group so one can find seating and others can go to different places to order

Yelp

Yelp
On Wednesday, February 28th, my sister and I went to have lunch in this place, we ordered a whole fried fish for each of us, when we received our order the fish looked kind of dry and really greasy, we ate it anyways because we were so hungry, but we figured it out that the fish was refried twice, it was kind of gross. When we left we told the lady who took our order, it was an oriental lady, and she just smiled, so if you go here for lunch, never order the fried fish, it is really nasty.

Lydia C.

Yelp
I don't think we've ever gone to Redondo Beach without stopping by at this place. You pick out what you want as you enter, pay, sit, then watch the goods get served cooked fresh to your table. Everything is so fresh, none of that frozen-thawed out seafood crap, and I feel the customer service has gotten much better at some point where the waitress ladies have become much nicer than before.. which makes the experience better. One of our absolute fav things to do. It's not cheap but I feel once in awhile, why not, it's definitely worth it.

Lilly G.

Yelp
Love this place went for my birthday had a feast, the service was awesome it made me feel like we reserved this place for my birthday we were catered too and helped with cake plates and forks. Will definitely go back everything was so so so delicious

Eileen C.

Yelp
Go somewhere else. I can't recommend it for the service, food, or value. The service is slow and rude. Some reviewers mentioned being treated poorly if you're not korean, but I'm korean and took my very korean parents and they weren't any nicer to us. Let's be honest though, a lot of asian restaurants have terrible service but I'll still go if their food is delicious. (Scream at me but your pho is incredible? pls put my name down to stand in line) But nope- the food is abysmal. First of all, I've never been served rice or hot tea in styrofoam containers at a sit down restaurant at these prices, wth? Thanks for the extra cancer causing chemicals I guess. The seafood soup itself (their "specialty" and a popular korean dish) was lukewarm and bland. The sad amount of actual seafood in the soup was also clearly the seafood they had used to make the broth*- it tasted exactly like if you left seafood in a freezer for a year and boiled it for two days. We were all starving but everyone hardly touched their food before we gave up and went home. LA is a hot spot for INCREDIBLE korean food- don't waste your money, time, or calories here. *For non-cooks: in most soup recipes (and certainly in asian ones) you don't eat what you made the broth with because all the flavor went into the soup and what you have left is usually tough and flavorless. You strain it out and put new seafood/meat for serving.

Jeenee Y.

Yelp
All crab houses (on this pier) PAY FIRST and then you eat. We had the pleasure to celebrate a birthday inside and was distant from everyone else. I can definitely say that this crab joint has aThe best and FRESHEST crab. I DID go to the other spot (at the end of the pier) but will never go back. We prefer the quality! Deep fried live prawns to the spicy seafood soup this is our go to! Don't forget to mix your rice with the crabs head and some sesame oil and korean red sauce! Delicious!!!

Ari H.

Yelp
Went at Saturday 5pm and it wasn't too crowded so we got seated quickly. There's enough distance from other tables, and it's very clean including the bathrooms. Small parties can get seated by the windows, and big parties are seated in the bigger tables away from windows. We ordered 2 crabs, 1lb of king crab legs, cajun shrimp, onion rings, and a side of rice. All of the food came out pretty quickly. Everything was delicious, but the crab was excellent. Cajun shrimp was also really good and the onion ring batter was crispy and delicious as well. The king crab legs were good but pale in comparison to the dung crabs so I would suggest getting something else instead. All of this was too much food for two people so we ended up having leftovers. Staff was friendly and if it seems like they are too busy to come check up on tables individually, just go up to the counter and ask politely for what you need i.e extra water or napkins. 15% gratuity is included in the cost and you pay first which I think is fair. Crab was $32.99/lb this June, most crabs are 2-3lbs.

Sunny L.

Yelp
Great scenery but the food was mediocre at its best. It is korean style crab but the banchan or the taste wasn't just there

Lydia K.

Yelp
We absolutely love coming to RBCH. The spicy soup at the end is my favorite. Pro tip: mix some hot rice with the juices in the crab shell. Be sure to ask for some sesame oil. Sooooo good

Jenny T.

Yelp
We got cheat from this place. I'm here for fresh king crab. We are order at the front and pick the fresh king crab from the tank. I'm sure the crab still alive then it turns out so bad. The crab look like long dead. We paid almost $100 but the food is sucked.

Joyce A.

Yelp
Supporting our local restaurants. Thanking the owner for opening-up for our family. We had a great time today @ Redondo and definitely finished our food. Love the steamed mussels. The platter is good as well. We ordered two trays and muscles, fed family of 6. Food was great! Located at the heart of the pier, right below El Torito. Parking is $2 per hour. Pay before your leave the parking. Accessible public restroom, close-by the restaurant.

James B.

Yelp
Redondo Beach Crab House is a long-time restaurant that many Korean families have been frequenting over the many years. Covid 2020 Edition: Indoor dining area is completely closed, but there are a good amount of tables outside that are reserved for customers. If you're lucky, there are some tables along the edge of the pier with nice view of the ocean and the beach. Once you order and sit down, they'll come by and cover your entire table with some paper. Food: 1) Hawaii Garlic Shrimp - very flavorful and can be pretty salty if eating it alone. If you pair it with rice, it will soak up the flavor and reduce the saltiness. 2) Dungeness Crab - Standard boiled crab with a side of melted butter. Pretty pircey and could use more flavor Service: Service is a bit slower due to limited staff during these Covid times, which is to be expected, so be patience and understanding during these difficult times. FYI: 15% tip is automatically added to the bill during Covid times.

Andy K.

Yelp
The food and taste was really poor quality. It makes sense because only four tables were occupied in such a big area. I don't recommend anyone to go here. I was very disappointed! Also, just a heads up, but they automatically charge 15% tip upfront. Honestly I thought they might have done this because the food is so bad, no one would want to tip anything after eating.

Jason L.

Yelp
I used to come to this restaurant pretty frequently a decade ago with my family to eat crabs, so it was pretty nice to see that the restaurant is still here at Redondo Beach. The pier has two Korean owned restaurants you can dine at but I suggest coming here because their options are more extensive. We ordered the spicy octopus stir fry? with noodles as well as a crab. The noodles is really good, wished it was a bit spicier, but the flavor was spot on. The crab is really big which was enough to share between two people. If you plan to eat just crab, then I suggest getting one per person, but if you plan on ordering other dishes, then one should be enough to fill you up. Currently they are unable to do indoor dining, so they have set up tables outside in the shade for you to sit down and enjoy your food.

Tony Z.

Yelp
First: she tell me turn my son toy off. she keep said that turn off turn off turn off. and than my son Cried. Second: 7 people give 5 water. really? and I need ask 2 more. Third: PTICE next store more cheaper. 15%tip must be pay.

Ryan K.

Yelp
My family loves coming here! It's a great place to celebrate something or go on a date. I gave it 4 out of 5 purely because of their ridiculous prices but, hey it's seafood on a pier what do you expect? It's runned by Koreans so the style is on the Asian side. You pay before you eat! They do it this way because it gets busy here and that format helps their flow better. To get the full experience you got to order the: sashimi, crabs, and the spicy seafood soup that comes towards the end. I like to order the fried stuff here and there but don't waste your money on anything else. Of course you got to get soju with it. Their specialty is the crab! They cook it to perfection serving it with the tools to break it apart. Also comes with butter so they know what's up. Here's a Korean special technique for you guys: get the crab head with all the goods inside it - add rice in it- add a good amount of sesame oil, butter, and a little soy sauce in it and mix it up. Trust me it's amazing. After eating here I get churros at another spot and then walk off all those calories on the pier.

Serah S.

Yelp
Nostalgia for Koreans. I love taking my parents or their friends there. The spicy fish soup is very small, so check out the size if you are planning to order this.

Freddy R.

Yelp
If you want to waste your money on fake fish come here. Also, if you are not Korean be ready to be treated poorly. This restaurant has poor customer service. There way of approaching is so bad. Never you will see me in this filthy bussiness

Sara G.

Yelp
I am visiting Redondo Beach on vacation. I went here when I was on the pier. I had a great experience. I had clam chowder in a bread bowl, corn on the cob, and water. The service was fast and efficient. The view was also great. It is directly next to the beach and ocean.

Susan S.

Yelp
There are two Korean seafood restaurants at the pier, and it's confusing since they serve pretty much the same exact menu. This one is to your left when you're walking down the pier, closer in than the other one. We usually go to the other one (with the yellow sign), but we wanted to give this place a try. We ordered the same items, plate of sashimi, plate of live prawns, and their spicy mae-oon-tong (stew). The only thing we enjoyed was the live prawns. It was really good, better than amaebi at most sushi restaurants. Otherwise, everything else was bleh. The sashimi looked like it was frozen for a while, and the tuna was tasteless along with other couple of sashimi items. In fact we left most of it untouched. The spicy stew was the biggest disappointment, it didn't have any depth of flavor and even the coloring was brown rather than reddish. We didn't eat most of this either. We also ordered beer, and one of my pet peeves is when the beer is not very cold. I love icy cold beer, and the beer was just cold-ish. Just didn't add to the overall experience. I think we will stick to the other restaurant from now on, we usually have a much better experience there. But this restaurant has been around for a loooong time, and there are people that will only come to this one... so give it a try and see for yourself which one you prefer!

Anna P.

Yelp
Great place to sit and enjoy the view. The seafood was fresh and flavorful. We purchased the Cajun Seafood boil, Dungeness , steamed mussels, bread and fries, between three people. They add the tip to your bill and you pay before you seat. I paid a lil over $200. There is no air conditioning and it was really humid and hot, with a couple of ceiling fans going. It was September, Labor Day weekend heatwave. The waitress was attentive, even though she forgot to serve me my Dungeness crab. Bathrooms were decent. It was my first time here. Glad I tried.

Peter K.

Yelp
A bit better than I expect it, probably right at 3.5 star on the yelp scale. This restaurant is on the pricier side but not too bad for being such of tourist spot at Redondo Beach. Very good fried fish and shrimps, above standard seafood, enjoyed the soup very much. You ordered up front and paid for it before being seat at the table.

Ryan W.

Yelp
Redondo Beach Crab House is a great spot for fresh seafood that comes served sashimi style, fried, or in Korean style soups. Live Santa Barbara Spotted Prawn: The prawns are served sashimi style in which you can eat the meaty body part. The head is they deep-fried until the entire head is crispy and delicious! The head was probably the best part out of the entire meal and out of everything that we ordered. I would go back for these fried shrimp heads! 5/5 Whole Lobster: The tail is served sashimi style. Once you eat all of the tail meat, they will take the claws and the head and make a Korean style soup out of it. The lobster sashimi was sweet and had a nice texture to it. The soup was the perfect way to finish out the meal. 3.5/5 Sashimi Platter: A great variety of several different fish species served sashimi style. It comes with tuna, salmon, albacore, yellowtail, octopus, and a couple other types of fish. The sashimi is fresh and they serve it with plenty of shaved radish. 3/5 Sea Squirt: This was my first time ever trying sea squirt. It was a harsh thing to swallow. Maybe I'm just not accustomed to the taste, but it was one of the items that I'm glad I tried, but I won't be ordering it again (similar to durian). 1/5 Steamed Baby Octopus: This was delicious! Baby octopus that was tender and delicious when dipping them into a little soy sauce. 3.5/5 Fried Shrimp w/ Fries: How can you go wrong with deep-fried shrimp and fries? Delicious as always and a great appetizer to share! 4/5 Overall, I thought some of the dishes were excellent, while others weren't my cup of tea. I would definitely come back to order the live Santa Barbara spotted prawns! Life-changing deliciousness that I highly recommend even though it was $41 per pound.

Yelp
Well.... My search for delicious crab with a view of the water has ended disappointingly... after driving down to redondo I arrived at the pier and decided to dine at the restaurant I originally thought of for fresh crab- even though I've never been to this restaurant... Just for the uninitiated: you order your dishes and the crab is weighed in front of you before they cook and serve you. I should have know with the amount of time it took to get a lb of snow crab from the freezer just how "fresh" it was .... Upon (finally) paying, they already had a table set and placed with the beer I ordered. Very nice indeed. Nice view... and as I sat waiting for my crab a young black boy was playing around the table. Totally not bothering me or anyone. He was nervous about the water. One of the waitresses came over and asked them to leave, because they were: " bothering guests"... who? I was the only one in there. And a couple walked in past them and sat not bothered either.... It just seemed like because he was a black youth that was being a child, he was unwanted... The mother even said to her son: " come on let's go. I don't have the patience to deal with these people" and they left.... And than the same waitress who kicked the black mother and son out, sat a table with two obnoxiously loud children who cried and screamed throughout my attempt to enjoy the food.... It blew my mind that a young boy playing- not very loud - was shoved out using my presence as reason and there wasn't a single consideration of me and my dining experience by seating two screaming children behind me. Hitting my chair in a COMPLETELY EMPTY RESTAURANT!?!?! Now for the crab. Market price. Steamed. Clarified butter and tobasco (?!?) on the side.... Crab was cold. Tasted like it had freezer burn. It was the most difficult crab to eat because it was probably thawed and re- frozen as it tasted like it had freezer burn. (I can't believe the best crab I've had is in north Hollywood....) Look, the fish wasn't good. The staff pushed a woman and her son out because of their color. Than sat horrible children and didn't ask them to leave for disturbing THE ONLY OTHER PATRON IN THE RESTAURANT I hope that whoever reads this doesn't support them. It's 2022. Let's grow up.

Yelp
Please don't call it a "whet jip" when you don't even have any in the menu. Also, waiting to order 20+ min with just two parties in front of us is wayy too slow.

Yelp
Delicious fresh crab about $60 for one crab. The Korean spicy soup is so delicious and tasty. Flavors are amazing. Just the Korean spicy soup with some rice is a meal in itself, so delicious. I would enjoy eating this anytime of the day. Hangover soup in the morning, or delicious lunch or dinner

Yelp
I heard that Crab is famous in Redondo Beach, so I came alone. A very famous restaurent was closed and went here. Satisfied. Very much in favor of the servers. I ordered two crabs and a little shrimp and paid about $300. It's expensive. I should work hard to make money. It took as much as 40 minutes to finish one. The crab was that large and full of flesh. For local residents, it would be good to go for a walk early in the evening of the weekend.

Yelp
Celebrating birthdays-- food did not disappoint. Casual dining (order at front counter and food brought to your table as it's prepared. Everything was fresh and delicious. Steamed crab (out of this world - cooked to perfection), two kinds of steamed shrimp (served with butter, cocktail sauce and Korean spicy bean paste), rich and spicy fish soup with huge pieces of halibut w/ bones and Korean sashimi (fresh and delicious) salad (Hwe Dap Bap) greens and fish were very fresh. Forgot to take pictures -- too excited to dig in. More than enough food.

Yelp
The place looks dingy, and the sign's a bit faded, but this place takes me WAY back to when my family used to have beach outings that ended with steamed crabs and (spicy fish stew). I had a sudden craving for some steamed crab, and the hubs was gracious to oblige. We ordered a large crab and the fish stew. We (or more specifically I) wanted to order another item, but apparently those items were all out of season, so we had to settle for just the two items. The crab took longer than expected, but it was worth the wait - the arrived at our table hot and steamy, and the servers cut the crab into smaller pieces so that you can just dig in. It was sweet, juicy, and packed with flavor! The best part was adding the hot rice to the outer/body shell and mixing it all together with the innards and roe - briny with a hint of sweetness... delicious! They ask you to let them know when you're ready for the fish stew, and that took about 5-10 minutes to hit our table. Once you're done with your meal, you can ask for lemon slices that they'll drop right into your hands so that you can wash away the smell from your fingers before you head out... unless you're into that sort of thing.

Yelp
Paid almost $100 for one Dungeness crab, steamed clams, and clam chowder. The crab and clams were flavorless and obviously prepared with little to no effort. Our cups of clam chowder were unfortunately the best part.

Yelp
Service was awful. We waited in line to place our order only to be told to sit down, literally. We said I'd like to order the Grilled Shrimp with Veggies. Response: "Sit down". The lady was SO rude! My husband asked where the restroom was, the lady just pointed to her right. Honestly, I could go on and on but I don't want to spend that much time writing and reliving our terrible experience. Point is, service was terrible, food was mediocre. Will not be returning. All they had going for themselves (in my experience) was the ocean view.
