"Named after the small 1950s restaurant in Sevierville where Dolly tasted her first hamburger, this diner offers all the classics with service as quick as the Lightning Rod coaster nearby. From thick and frosty shakes to golden crisp crinkle fries, you’ll definitely need one of those juicy burgers to round out the full experience." - Melissa Corbin

We ordered the bacon cheese burger; the burger was bland and the bacon was under cooked. While we waited we counted 12 employees standing around doing nothing while there was trash to be picked up and tables to be wiped down. The atmosphere had a fun diner feel.

This is an amazing place. If you like hamburgers, Hamburgers, or even bacon burgers you will love Red's.

We like to rate places for what they are. This is a fast food restaurant at a theme park. The reviews from people complaining about the pricing have me wondering if they looked at the menu before they ordered. Prices are listed, and they are theme park prices. With that said, we have eaten at Red's multiple times. Some of the cashiers have fun personalities and make the ordering experience enjoyable. One of us ordered a turkey wrap this time, and it was really good! The fries are tasty. The shakes are yummy. There are even celiac safe options. Red's is convenient as long as it is not overly crowded. Will we go there again? You betcha.

It's obviously not a true drive-thru experience. But the burgers are good. We liked and disliked some things. There are 4 options burger, cheese burger, bacon burger, or a turkey wrap. The burgers are decent size and have a good taste. So 0 complaints there. It's the condiment island that's meh. Too many hands reaching in for our taste. The chili cheese fries are great! The chili is really good. Well seasoned and not spicy. My only complaint is that they don't add enough. 😔 The service isn't overly friendly. They are in the mindset of getting as many people serviced in as short of a time as possible. The eating area is clean but can get messy when they are busy. Overall, it's a good spot. We will definitely do it again. Pros: Great chili, good burgers, large eating area Cons: Price, condiment island, service

We usually come here to eat when we come to Dollywood, and it has almost become a tradition for me and my cousin, but the food isn't all that, especially for the price. Per person you're gonna be paying at least 16$ if you're getting a burger. The food itself is pretty good, and I personally really like their chili cheese fries, but I don't think its worth paying an arm and a leg for a burger and chili cheese fries here when I can go to Burger King and get a burger and fries which are just as good for far cheaper. The service is also pretty slow. Today we ate earlier in the day so we beat the crowds, but when peak lunchtime comes, you're looking at possibly an hour wait to get your food. The atmosphere is charming, but nothing too exciting; while I do admit the diner aspect is slightly immersive, if I'm looking for a diner themed restaurant I'd prefer Sunliner, you'll be paying similar prices for far, far better food, service, and atmosphere. But I must admit, I would prefer this place over most other restaurant at Dollywood, as most of those will either break the bank or lack the admittedly charming atmosphere of Reds. Also I like being able to sit indoors when I eat which is something that puts it ahead of all the concession stands.

This is our favorite place to eat at Dollywood, as we are annual pass holders and visit often. It's also one of the more economical ways to get a tasty, filling meal inside the park. We spent about $26 USD for 2 people to get cheeseburger and fry meals with a drink refill in our AP cups. This is a place we visit every time we are at the park, without question. Also, the cookies are really good as well!

Google
Food here is mediocre at best. What sells this place is the atmosphere. Modeled after an actual diner where Dolly Parton grew up in there are signs depicting the history of Sevierville which was the town she grew up in. Yes, there is one vegan option here-a salad. Mostly burgers, turkey wraps and salads. A multipurpose drink machine is located on both sides so you can choose whatever you like. There is a toppings bar for your cheeseburgers. Burgers were plain patties. Not the greatest but your average amusement type park food. French fries are average as well. Only thing this place has going for it is that it is not a buffet. Still it is convenient as it sits in an area of the park known as Jukebox junction.

Gluten free buns served ice cold. Not room temp but refrigerated cold. My five year old grandaughter dealt with this at lunch watching me eat mine buttered and warmed. We actually needed to eat there at dinner again for location, so I politely asked for hers to be warmed the same as mine making it very clear there was no allergy. First thing they ask!!! Allergy or Preference? The manager was very rude saying he couldn't do that. More than that! This is a burger restaurant with no burger on the kids menu!!!!!! I bought 2 burgers for my grandaughter that day for $17 each and she is 5! Cold hard buns twice

Yelp
We really enjoyed this stop for lunch at Dollywood, particularly how the history around the walls and 1950s style diner vibes. The service was quick, which was nice after a busy morning at the theme park. We especially loved the chili cheese fries and wish they had been more abundant with their serving of it, the burger was just fine, but it is elevated by having a toppings bar available.

Yelp
god that burger was some straight ass. i love you dolly, this ain't it tho. 20 bucks for a crappy patty

Yelp
Red's Drive In is more about the atmosphere than about the food. Patterned after a 50s diner where Dolly Parton grew up in there is a jukebox dating back to the period and various signs showing the drive in along with the history it played in Dolly's life growing up. The food is typical park fare food. You order at the counter and you are given a number with which to pick up your food when your number is called. Drinks are served in one of those machines that let you select what you would like, get ice and then put your cup underneath it to get your selection. Oddly enough this place has a vegan option here-a salad. Mostly cheeseburgers and fries including chili fries are served here along with a turkey wrap and grapes. Toppings such as lettuce, tomatoes, etc are served at a separate topping bar. The three of us ordered the cheeseburger with fries and a soda drink. I found the cheeseburger was the usual packaged style patty-very bland and well not my cup of tea. The fries were mediocre. Having dined at the Flower and garden festival this place is severely lacking in quality. If you are able to grab the samples at the festival, then you are really getting more bang for your buck there. However, this place is not a buffet which we were trying to avoid but at least learn more about Dolly's history on a replica of a street where she grew up in.

Yelp
Took 0.5 seconds to come out Food was some of that MAGICALLY delicious The lady that took our order was maaaaad pressed tho

Tara H.

Yelp
Barely edible! Weird garlic butter bun made me want to vomit. Dry tasteless meat. Worst than McDonald's or Burger King and cost twice as much!!!

Max M.

Yelp
You want burger's, shakes or fries on the premises of Dollywood? Well, this is the place as you can see from the lines of six people at the register. Quite delicious burger which gave me the thought that I was back in the 50s or 60s and chomping into a real meat burger....after I put the add ons for the lettuce, tomato, mustard (no mayo for me, thanks) and such on the buffet style accouterments. Sure, the burger and fries is $10.99 but you are here at Dollywood, and burgers are a throwback to our childhood and is always good for us carnivores. Sure, they have Caesar salads, but beef is best! So find the place there inside of the premises of Dollywood and try and find a seat inside or out to enjoy your meal.

Yelp
Food was good, order was wrong but to my side. Got two things extra of fries. Little confusing if first time, the combo are burger and fries no drink so be prepared for that. Burger came fast . Fries left much wanted. It's a 50s style diner. All burgers coke plain and you go to a bar to get pickles, tomato's, lettuce, ketchup etc. I could just eat the pickles. The soda is freestyle so the line for getting a drink is longer then food. Just lot of choices and so folks delay getting drink and moving on. Didn't help that 1/2 machines were down. 3 combos (2 with chili cheese fries) and 3 sodas came to $60. Very tight to eat so when I eat I was getting bumped into. No lids for sodas and straws are paper straws.

Yelp
Great burgers and always packed and busy. Be sure to get here as soon as they open so you're not waiting forever.

Connor S.

Yelp
This place looks like a 50 style diner. They have burgers, chicken, wraps, etc. no milkshakes anymore. Plus alot of seating. Plus facing lighting rod is areas for u to charge your phone: they have a area to get tomato's, onions, Mayo etc. plus they have Coke o cola freestyle machines. I do recommend this place as a place to cool off and get something to eat

Michelle L.

Yelp
LISA. was horrible. she was my cashier and she was rude to extremes. i felt unwelcome and she completely ruined my day. she was being sarcastic and made snobby comments the entire time i was ordering. she deserves to be wiping tables especially since no body else was doing so.

Evan R.

Yelp
No complaints, food was amazing, the placed looked great with plenty of seating, and the service was speedy.

Andrea H.

Yelp
$35 for one cheeseburger and fries then made the frozen hamburger wrong. Do yourself a favor and try anything else at Dollywood.

Sam T.

Yelp
The employees are sooo nice. I was short on money, so they pitied me and paid for it. These people were literal life savers. I can't pay them back, but I can give them this review that displays their love for their customers.

Lyn M.

Yelp
Food is fine, cashier was awfully rude. Patricia. Told her we have a gold pass for the discount and she proceeded to rudely ask if we were wanting to order and said "anything else?" When I was going to give my gold card, she said "well I need to scan it hon". This is my first time with the pass so how would I know? Had rude and unwelcoming expressions the whole time.
