"During that time, Tucker also opened and closed several locations of his comfort food restaurant Red’s Porch. The original South Lamar restaurant opened in 2009, followed by the Quarry in 2017, and Round Rock in 2018. All closed in 2019." - Nadia Chaudhury

great venue, excellent food & pet friendly!! what else could you want in Austin? we started with the chili cheese fries. Red's chili is amazing. we barely left room for the chicken fried steak!! the meat was so tender and the bacon gravy was the perfect topper!! we will be returning!!

This was our first time eating here and it was some of the most amazing food I've ever had. The service is top notch and the menu is great and perfectly priced. The view from the patio is gorgeous as well, the overall vibe is just so Austin, it reminds of how it used to be. 100% recommend. Also, the fried pickles were so freaking good!

Read that this place had a good patio, which it did. Really clean, with a happy hour that lasts a mammoth eight hours Monday to Friday. Perhaps that explains why they were out of Friday's happy hour beer, hah. Nonetheless, ordered a nice pilsner and a strawberry daiquiri with a side of chili fries. Delicious, really good. Main was the chimichanga and a chicken fried chicken. Oh my, the chicken just melted in my mouth. The onion rings were also great too. Edit: not sure why it posted the pictures twice. Apologies!

Chicken Fried Chicken The meal was great. I'm not really super into gravy but the gravy was really good. Green chili mac & cheese and potatoes were also very enjoyable. I sat outside and had a nice time. :)

My partner and I tried this pace right after it opened. The food was great but the service was almost overkill. We could barely get through bites of our food without almost every employee in the building asking us how it was. We also felt pressured to order by those people in the same way when we just wanted to start with an appetizer and drinks while we figured out the rest. I hope to go back in a few months once everyone is more settled in.

We were looking for a place that is dog friendly and this place did not disappoint. They have a small menu for dog, Beef sliders and Pumpkin truffles. Our dogs devoured the sliders..didn't have a chance to take a picture, but they are small beef patties. My boyfriend ordered the Chicken Fried Steak sandwich w/fries and I ordered the Chicken Fried Chicken Sandwich w/Brussels Sprouts (I ordered ranch dressing instead of their gravy.. they make it in house, it was delicious but so was their gravy) it was all very tasty!!!! The Brussel Sprouts were soooo good!! The service was top notch! Will definitely be coming back!

It was going well until I tried the brisket. Even with sauce it was the driest brisket I've ever eaten. So sad because I was looking forward to it, took the leftovers home and threw them away. The queso was good though and the margarita! Shrimp tacos were mediocre.

A great addition to the community. Great service (Austin was out server outside). He made several recommendations to our food orders and gave us some beer samples to help us select some unfamiliar options. The food was very good. We had burgers, queso and some of their Cajun offerings. All were great. Local beers were well reprented and we were invited to one of their upcoming events. The communal tables outside led to some conversation with people close by and the whole experience reminded me of when I lived in South Austin.
