Reds Soda Fountain and Ice Cream

The ice cream was amazing, and all the sodas are hand mixed. The owners are extremely friendly and the atmosphere was amazing. 10/10, definitely coming back in the future.

We have been looking for a soda fountain shop for a long time. We did find one in salida but its hard to get to. So when this showed up in google right across from the dolly statue we jumped at the chance to check it out and we were not disappointed! As a kid i got the chance to go to dolly madisons the day before it closed in the 90s and oh how this took me down memory lane The staff was super friendly as i stepped in with my family and just got freakin excited that i could finally show my kids what these lovely shops are all about! I swear i felt like a little kid gazing up at this menu thinking about all the possibilties! The different combos They explained the menu as we sat at the bar. We finally decided on a ginger ale and vanilla ice cream soda/phosphate float,a banana split and an ice cream sundae. Glory be that ginger ale ice cream soda done did me in and i will never be the same! My kids devoured their split too. They do have a small other menu of like hot dogs and hummas and chips. Also there was peanut butter frosting cake that i had to just simply walk away from. The ceiling and floor are also original to the building You really really need to be here!

This place is amazing. Ice cream is over the top visually and in taste. The staff was so friendly and helpful. It was our first time in, so we had questions about the menu. They were more than willing to answer and make recommendations. We will definitely be returning for many future visits.

My first visit here and I will definitely be back when I’m in town. We all got different things from 2 scoops in a waffle cone, sundae, milk shake and float. No complaints at all. Love the atmosphere and the service was fantastic!

Drove from Tn to Alaska and back last summer with one of the goals of finding a soda fountain along the way with no luck then came across this wonderful place right here in our back yard. We have been a few times and everything we have tried has been great. It’s nice to find a place with reasonable prices great service and delicious ice cream and sodas so close to home.

First time visiting Red’s. Ordered a blackberry chocolate ice cream soda to go. Very yummy. Tasted like a Tootsie roll lollipop! Will definitely be back. Came back to Red’s for lunch on 8-22-2024. Had their 1/4 lb hot dog with chili, cheese, onions, ketchup and mustard plus a vanilla grape ice cream float! The hot dog was very tasty and the ice cream float was yummy!

Love everything about Reds Soda Fountain! This place is like something out of a dream. If you're looking for a legit 50s classic soda fountain/malt shop, look no further... you have found it.

We stopped by Red’s for lunch. The food was great, the atmosphere is super cute and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The ice cream is delicious. Highly recommend!

Like walking back in time. This is a great spot to relax and share milkshake, malt, phosphate (coke), or just a scoop or two on one of their homemade waffle cones. Try out the ole ice cream floats! They serve up some savory lunch items too. Chicken salad, 1/4 lb hot dogs with chili or slaw or cheese. They work with seasons on a Cobb salad or hummus plate as well. Check them out it's across the street from the Dolly statue in Sevierville.

We went for our second time to Reds and had the BEST Banana Split of our lives! Loved talking with the owners and learning about their establishment. Love the Soda Fountain ambiance and the atmosphere.

Another blast from the past! We stopped there after visiting Dolly Parton's statue to grab a snack. It hade a jukebox, our soda jerk behind the counter and the jukebox playing period music. I ordered just a scoop of cookies and cream it was good not too sweet. He ordered a ginger ale made fresh and a hotdog with the works. The ice cream was served in a period glass cup. So was the soda. A member of fountain staff gave us insights to the weekend activities and was very kind as she bussed the table.

We haven't visited yet, but it's in our to do list. Have read about it and it sure sounds like a place we would frequent.

Wonderful stop to take a blast from the past! Great hospitality and delicious hand made shakes, cream sodas, and food! Super cute, lots of seating, nice and cool and very clean!

Great find when we went to see the courthouse Dolly statue. Stopped in here to kill sometime, before meeting up with friends. My first time watching a real life soda jerk make a phosphate soda. My daughter loved the lime soda. Very kind and happy staff, clean business. It's a neat step back in time. Worth 30 min to stop in for a treat.

The entire vibe of this place is so cute! The owner was very friendly and talked us through the entire menu as it was our first time here. We each got our own ice cream soda and I recommend the orange one! SO delicious!

This is a walk down memory lane. My MIL educated me about what a soda jerk was. She was one at some point in her life. Check out this nostalgic soda fountain and watch the soda jerk himself prepare you a phosphate soda. The ice cream is some of the best! The banana split is worth every bit of the $10 price and is more than enough for two people! The steamed hot dog and a root beer phosphate is a go for me. The owners are very welcoming. Love the old fashioned look of the place down to the white uniforms and hats. Reds is a great addition to downtown Sevierville.
