Reds Soda Fountain and Ice Cream

So we decided to stop here for a quick lunch on one of the days visiting and this place is a gem. Its a legit old fashioned soda and ice cream shop, you don't see these anymore at all so its very unique. The atmosphere had 50s vibes and the workers were awesome. We had old fashioned Coca-Cola along with their famous hot dogs, i tried the works dog and it was great, everything meshes together nice, its definitely unique. We had peanut butter milkshakes but they got delicious malts too. I highly recommend coming here as its been in business since 1946, its just an amazing spot to visit.

Adorable!! We had the pleasure of dining here yesterday and so glad we did. The staff were wonderful and the gentleman that took our order was extremely nice and helpful. We devoured our food and drinks before we could get pics but it was all delicious! My husband got The Works hot dog and an ice cream soda. I had the chicken salad croissant and the best milkshake I’ve ever had - peanut butter cheesecake! So yummy! We will definitely be visiting again soon!

My husband and I visited Reds soda fountain for the first time this past weekend. We absolutely loved it! We got hot dogs, Dr Pepper float and a brownie sundae. Everything was so delightful! The staff was so friendly I didn’t catch any names but all of them on Friday June 6 after 4 pm were all wonderful. A gentleman took our order and was so helpful with helping us decide what to get and was so patient with us! We loved everything from the food and ice cream to the atmosphere of the place and the people working there made our experience exceptional and we can’t wait to come back!

Fantastic! Great people! Best dairy free ice cream EVER! And for the rest of the party, we loved ours too! The portion sizes are generous. People made it even more special. Came here multiple times because of them!

We stopped by Red’s to celebrate our son’s birthday, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The staff was warm, friendly, and professional, making us feel right at home. The ice cream was everything you hope for—rich, creamy, full of flavor, served nice and cold, and with generous portions. If you go, don’t miss the soda flight—it’s a fun, nostalgic treat! Red’s is everything an ice cream shop should be, from the old-time charm to the homemade goodness. Definitely a must-visit when you’re in downtown Sevierville!

An awesome old fashioned soda fountain in downtown Sevierville. The girls are very helpful and offered my kids samples. They have everything an old time soda shop would have. Ice cream, shakes, floats, soda drinks, and some grab and go food items. The atmosphere is nostalgic and very cozy. A free jukebox which the kids loved. A small gift and packaged good area. An old time soda fountain bar as well as booths. A step back in time and totally worth a visit plus the ice cream is fantastic.

First, the staff is amazing and so nice. It's like it's their best day ever when you walk in. Second, the blackberry and vanilla ice cream float was the best I've ever had. They have fresh sandwiches that were great as well.

I had the hotdog. And it was delicious my wife had the bacon and chicken wrap. She said OK. My friends had to hot dogs and they loved it.

Like walking back in time. This is a great spot to relax and share milkshake, malt, phosphate (coke), or just a scoop or two on one of their homemade waffle cones. Try out the ole ice cream floats! They serve up some savory lunch items too. Chicken salad, 1/4 lb hot dogs with chili or slaw or cheese. They work with seasons on a Cobb salad or hummus plate as well. Check them out it's across the street from the Dolly statue in Sevierville.

We went for our second time to Reds and had the BEST Banana Split of our lives! Loved talking with the owners and learning about their establishment. Love the Soda Fountain ambiance and the atmosphere.

Another blast from the past! We stopped there after visiting Dolly Parton's statue to grab a snack. It hade a jukebox, our soda jerk behind the counter and the jukebox playing period music. I ordered just a scoop of cookies and cream it was good not too sweet. He ordered a ginger ale made fresh and a hotdog with the works. The ice cream was served in a period glass cup. So was the soda. A member of fountain staff gave us insights to the weekend activities and was very kind as she bussed the table.

We haven't visited yet, but it's in our to do list. Have read about it and it sure sounds like a place we would frequent.

Delicious Hot Fudge Sundae! I wish I had two stomachs because I want another! Washed it down with hand mixed soda!

Wonderful stop to take a blast from the past! Great hospitality and delicious hand made shakes, cream sodas, and food! Super cute, lots of seating, nice and cool and very clean!

Great find when we went to see the courthouse Dolly statue. Stopped in here to kill sometime, before meeting up with friends. My first time watching a real life soda jerk make a phosphate soda. My daughter loved the lime soda. Very kind and happy staff, clean business. It's a neat step back in time. Worth 30 min to stop in for a treat.

The entire vibe of this place is so cute! The owner was very friendly and talked us through the entire menu as it was our first time here. We each got our own ice cream soda and I recommend the orange one! SO delicious!

This is a walk down memory lane. My MIL educated me about what a soda jerk was. She was one at some point in her life. Check out this nostalgic soda fountain and watch the soda jerk himself prepare you a phosphate soda. The ice cream is some of the best! The banana split is worth every bit of the $10 price and is more than enough for two people! The steamed hot dog and a root beer phosphate is a go for me. The owners are very welcoming. Love the old fashioned look of the place down to the white uniforms and hats. Reds is a great addition to downtown Sevierville.
