I've been a regular loyal Redstart customer for the past 3 years. The recipes are creative, fresh, and exciting. I appreciate the many vegan options. On average, I order once a month. The food is excellent, and the ordering process is streamlined with a convenient and well-designed website. I appreciate the low cost and timely delivery, too. Refunds for damaged or unsatisfactory items can be requested through a web form. My one complaint is that for the past month or so, customer service has declined. I sent an email regarding a glitch in the ordering system (some menu items didn't appear in the bundling feature), and I didn't receive a reply. I also requested a refund for an item. Though it was approved, I didn't receive the refund. An email I sent about this also remains unanswered. It's disappointing, as I want to continue supporting this local business. I'm updating my review and adding a star because I received a message today apologizing for the recent decline in customer service. They were experiencing website and email issues. They were gracious and they made things right. I look forward to my next order and future orders. I encourage others to give them a try.

I loved it! There were pastries, hot breakfast, and lunch too. And there was a smoked salmon English muffin with pickled sunchoke cream cheese and dill that was fantastic. The smoked salmon came direct from Alaska through the chef’s friend. It was a cute little place with murals designed by Jordan herself, and it is just perfect! There are candles shaped like food in the retail area, which my kids really enjoyed.

Best catering in Durham! You will love their food it's memorable. I had to ask who the caterer was because it's was fresh and amazing. Definitely using them in the future!

This is my favorite go-to spot in Durham and it is truly a treasure. My favorite part about it is that it’s in the community and we can just walk there from the Northgate Park area. I usually go there with friends from the neighborhood for dinner or lunch. It’s laidback with friendly staff and the food is outstanding and creative. It’s one of the few places in Durham where I can get a no fuss breakfast and good coffee. Their breakfast potatoes are amazing (even the ones they serve at dinner) and they have the best homemade English muffins. Although they aren’t solely a vegan or vegetarian restaurant, they have plenty of those options and I actually find myself gravitating to those dishes because they are insanely flavorful and delicious. They have a wonderful retail shop with already prepared meals, gifts, and other knick knacks.

Best breakfast sandwich in Durham! Their English muffins are amazing. It’s our favorite spot to ring in the weekend.

Redstart has been an amazing addition to our diet. We don’t get to eat out as much or have as much time to cook as we used to before children. Restart makes having tasty, cheffy, and healthy meals at home easy and cost-effectively, especially compared to traditional takeout. In particular, we appreciate the high quality ingredients, including their use of olive oil frequently over lower quality fats.

Food is good but they are starting to let things fall through the cracks. They left items off two orders recently without communicating proactively. They said they miscalculated the number of pies and said that I would have to go online and request a refund rather than just taking care of it for me when I reached out. Very frustrating to be surprised the day before thanksgiving like this. I’m one of their most loyal customers and purchase from them every week. This type of service will lead to lost customers before long.

Best breakfast sando in town, hands down. 🦺✨🥚✨🚨 Donuts are golden. Wine selection is stellar. 🍷💅🏼 Smiley produce magnets are top tier. 🍌👀🍊Ambiance -inside and out - is great. Beer on tap. Five stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
