Redtree Coffee and Art

A coffee shop/bar/art space mixed into one in OTR, filled with artwork and cozy lounging areas. The pistachio matcha was light and refreshing, and the banana bloom matcha was uniquely banana-forward. A lively coffee spot with plenty of character and charm.

We visited the Red tree after a concert at Music Hall. We were looking for a late coffee and this place is only a block or so away. Sergio provided excellent service and advice on ordering. They also serve cocktails and some food items. This place was perfect for what we had in mind. The atmosphere was great with high ceilings in an industrial setting. They also serve as an art gallery with local artists works. I highly recommend this place for before or after a performance at Music Hall, The Shakespeare Theater or any other venue near Washington Park.

Had a nice cup of coffee at Red Tree after a video shoot at the PBS studio across the street. The staff was welcoming, the coffee delicious, and the pastry was a perfect mid-morning snack. The art inspired conversation and was a welcome addition to an otherwise routine mid-day break.

Yummy coffee and lovely space. We stayed way longer than we intended because there was plenty of space and seating and the atmosphere was quiet - nicely tucked away from the hubbub of Washington Park. Such a comfortable, lovely place to spend some time. The service was also very kind!!! Would love to go again. The lavender latte was delicious.

I love Redtree BUT one thing about it has bothered me for years. Delicious drinks, kind staff and peaceful environment! But please, for the love of God, put felt pads on the bottoms of your chair legs. Whenever someone is sitting in a chair and they ever so slightly scoot it against the floor it is extremely, extremely loud and echoes through the whole place (not as loud when empty chairs are scooted, but the weight of a person creates such a friction that screeches at the tops of its lungs when it is overcome). I was getting some work done the other day and it was pretty quiet before the person seated next to me pushed his chair in by about an inch. I nearly jumped out of my seat. My eardrums felt like they were about to explode (I do not have sensitive ears by any means!). Genuinely might've been over 100 dB. I hate to be dramatic regarding this amazing place that I love so dearly! But this is all I ask. A couple sheets of felt from the craft store would take less than an hour to cut into little circles and glue to the bottoms of the legs of each chair. Please do that or something similar. Thank you. Besides that, this location is awesome. Super cool spot in OTR by the Shakespeare center and I highly recommend it.

My friends and I visited the day after the twenty one pilots concert- very awesome! Amazing artsy atmosphere, really fun menu, and sweet staff. Our vegan banana bread and earl grey loaf were absolutely delicious no complaints. My only thing is the latte I got was a little bit sour, and got more sour as time passed- maybe from the espresso- nevertheless the atmosphere was amazing and I 100% reccomend a visit!!

Great, local foward coffee spot, always supporting the local arts community, as well as multiple food drives. A handful of pastries to choose from and some cute crafts. Lots of space to hangout, study, or even hold meetings.

Update: This OTR location now has a full bar that serves cocktails and more during happy hour (3-6pm Wed-Fri). 5 stars all around. My new favorite coffee shop. I always try something new on their seasonally updated menu. Friendly, helpful staff. Great local art to buy (from large and small paintings to jewelry, sculptures and pottery). Also wearable merch. There are tables that seat larger groups (6-8 ppl). Strong WiFi too.

Wonderful little coffee shop! Get an artisan coffee and grab a gift from a local artist! Street parking is available and they also have drinks on the go if you are running late for work! Clean bathrooms and super sweet baristas. Need an hour to get stuff done? Come here!

Great space with great coffee! Need to check out their cocktails soon. I love all the art around and enjoy looking at the stuff for sale as well. I also appreciate that they've taken tipping away in favor of paying their baristas more and giving them benefits. Great business to support!

Popped in Red Tree earlier today along 12th in Over-The-Rhine. Super adorable shop and friendly. Excellent food. Great first impression. Love the local artists and creatives wall selling local goods. Thanks for the wonderful experience. Scott Ford

I love this place. I've been here several times as we live around the corner, and I finally got some pictures to make a post. They have plenty of seating and good Wi-Fi, which is great for work/school. I always order the dirty chai and it is just as rich and decadent as before. The spices are perfectly balanced. I also opt in for the banana bread and the vegan chorizo burrito, which are both delicious and filling. You can go in with your dog and order but they request you eat outdoors with your furry friend, understandably. I usually take it to-go when I have my dog with me. The workers are perfect. I think I've met 5 different baristas and they are all very kind and greet me with a smile every single time. They are very personable and sweet, and I haven't had a bad drink here. I highly recommend it. They also have a beautiful bar that I've been wanting to try, but haven't.

I love coming here to do homework. Their no gratuity system is pretty cool, and the drinks are always good. They promote local art, and have a superb aux. I can't speak to their coffee since I have yet to try it, but the baristas there are very talented and very friendly. Lovely spot to chill in OTR. I will definitely be back soon, and I will make it a point to try the coffee!

So excited to see RedTree is now in OTR! This brand new location is adorable. Great same friendly service with a much larger location. The atmosphere in here is great. It's nice and quiet especially with being in the downtown area. You step in here and do not feel like you are in the city. They have street parking available right in front. The coffee here is always fresh and served exactly how ordered. Came in on a Saturday around 12pm and they had plenty of seating available. They have the same menu as their Oakley location and have a few pastry options to choose from. They always have little gifts from local vendors available to purchase. They will continue to expand this location and hope to have longer hours and cocktails too. They will start to have different events at this location in the near future, so be sure to follow their social media pages.

This is such a cute coffee shop!! Lots of space to do work and the staff were wonderful! Probably the quickest I've ever gotten a latte and it tasted amazing! Will definitely come back.

The owner always seems to be making fun of someone every time I've been in there, which just casts a kind of bad vibe about the place.
