"What this bustling little café lacks in sitting room, it more than makes up for in delicious, locally sourced food and really good coffee. The homemade sandwiches, salads, and soups are especially great for a quickie lunch while exploring 9 Streets. And if you’re an early riser, the farm fresh juices and yogurt-and-granola bowls are a nice taste of home."

Solid coffee next to the Hotel Pulitzer to go. Also notable: very fancy strawberries.

This little place is very cosy! I think that it was one of the best matcha that I have ever drank, the orange juice is delicious and the Yogurt Bowl is so fresh! You have a delicious yogurt with homemade granola and a large amount of fruits like strawberries, banana, blueberries, kiwi and raspberries! 🥝

I really liked that Christmas vibe and also very welcoming staff! They offered me a croissants before they close off. It’s so kind of them! I tried classic hot chocolate with the cookie crumbs, liked it

That was by far the best breakfast I’ve had, tried the avocado croissant, absolutely amazing highly recommend. It is quite pricy though but it was also good friendly so I’m not one to complain

Google
Amazing experience at Ree7 cafe. The breakfast options were outstanding especially French Toast and the in-house iced tea - the flavors were so refreshing and vibrant, and it was the perfect accompaniment to my breakfast and the matcha cake was simply divine. If you find yourself in Amsterdam, do visit Ree 7 Cafe. Highly recommended!

They serve the croissant without napkins without knife without fork. The road is not quite and cars passing by . The croissant was fresh and delicious but they need to enhance the quality of service

Google
They were soooooo slow. I ordered granola and it was almost only youghurt. And it is 12 ,5 euros god sakes. I could have easily picked a yoghurt from market. And the girls waitresses chatted all the time near me which was annoying.

Google
Our brunch was delicious. The oat-matcha has very good quality. I recommend it if you are in town and wanted to have a delicious brunch with fresh and high quality food.

Yelp
This was a nice welcome break on a hot day. They have some tables outside and we were able to get some respite in the shade and wolfed down some milkshakes and sandwiches.

Yelp
This little stop had beautiful decor and efficient staff. The food and coffee drink were as delicious as they were beautiful. I highly recommend stopping in for a great start to the day!

Yelp
On our first day of visiting Amsterdam, my friends and I decided to have breakfast at Ree7 after seeing so many mouthwatering pictures on Instagram. The place itself is kind of small so if you want to beat the crowd I say come when they open. I got the red velvet pancakes and they were good but I wish they could have given me a side of the white chocolate sauce because they got a bit dry towards the end. I also got a macchiato but it was just okay. They also have other super appetizing pastries that I didn't try but they all looked phenomenal. On my next trip to Amsterdam, I'd definitely come to Ree again.

Yelp
Food was good. Milkshakes were small and underwhelming- definitely not worth the price. The breakfast board was a good mix and enough for two. The service was unfriendly bordering on rude.

Yelp
A super cute brunch/lunch place in Amsterdam. My friend saw this place on Instagram, and we absolutely had to go. We started with the specialty shake, which was fun, but pretty pricey - definitely shareable between a couple of people. We also got chai tea lattes, which were SO good. Not sure why, but it was one of the best chai tea lattes I've had in a while!! Finally, the food did not disappoint. Everything on the menu looked good, which made it hard to decide, but we ended up loving everything we got! Overall, Ree7 is a great instagrammable spot for brunch if you're willing to pay a bit more.

Yelp
I was wandering alone , looking at random shops on a rainy day! There was only so much rain and grey weather I could handle. I walked in here with the hope of getting something warm to drink and using their wifi. The place has such a good atmosphere. I was lucky to find a table of 2 open. I got a cappuccino, a slice of carrot cake baked in house and the wifi password. While my coat was drying, I sipped my cappuccino and searched the internet for my next stop. This place seemed like the popular choice on that day! May be it was the rain.. or the warm drinks ..or the beautiful carrot cake they displayed by the window. On that day, we all seemed to enjoy what this place offered!

Yelp
They have really gone down in quality. I used to love their club sandwich, but I would definitely not recommend it anymore. The bread was completely dry, not much between the bread either and the fries were just thrown on the plate between the two sandwiches. The sauce for fries were given as two packets, which wasn't enough for all the fries. For the price you pay you expect much better. Also stomach afterwards felt like I've had some fast food meal. Really sad because it used to be one of my favourite places in Amsterdam.

Yelp
Very cute spot for brunch, food was simple but everything was fresh and delicious. Went for breakfast so the options were limited but would return to try out the lunch fare which seemed a little more unique. Try to get a seat above/below the main level which sees a lot of traffic...

Yelp
So disappointing! The employees here lack hospitality. Service is an absolute an terror. It took us 30+ minutes to receive 2 cappuccinos. Within that time we seen a lot of new customers come, but never receive service and get up & go. Honestly, I should have been one of those customers as well. They were not even busy. The lack of care that was going on in this establishment was pretty unbelievable and a shame because it's a cute place inside. It's like they were on strike or something. No welcome when you came in. The barman/coffee barista would literally avoid eye contact with every new person coming through the door. When we walked in he did the same to us and he wasn't even making any coffees at the time. We had to initiate conversation to even get any sort of acknowledgement. We asked one of the servers who was walking in our direction if we sit ourselves and they both acted bothered to even have to answer the question. She kind of just pointed around and just kept walking. Ok fine . Mind you the only tables they had were dirty ones, but we figured once we sat, someone would eventually come over and clean it off. Nope! Other new customers experienced the same. Some were not as patient and were leaving. Some brought their own plates & dirty napkins up from the previous patrons and sat them on the bar where they were practically touching the pastries displayed for viewing & serving. The employees just left them there instead of throwing them in the dish pan. Yuck! That really grossed me out. As a matter of fact, we still had dirty plates on our table that the server never picked up for us when she took our order for coffee, and when she came to serve them to us we had to remind her to take them away so we can enjoy our cappuccinos. She was walking away so fast and I was like HELLO, Excuse me! Can you please take these? Oh my god. So gross and weird. She asked if we wanted to order anything else besides the coffee. I asked her how long would it take to receive it if I said yes.. another 30 min? I also pointed down at the pastries from the top floor where we were sitting and told her to look at all the dirty plates & napkins that have been set next to them. It's not sanitary. How is that appetizing? Oh my god, so disgusting. These people have a very dirty work ethic. Do not let their fancy Instagram page fool you. It's nothing like what you see here. No bright smiling faces of happy customers, employees or cleanliness. At least not on the day I was there. I Highly do not recommend.

Yelp
Great lunch spot! I discovered them via their Instagram while planning my trip to Amsterdam. The presentation of their food sold me so we gave it a go. We ordered the roast beef sandwich and carrot pumpkin soup. Both were fantastic choices and full of flavor. The soup came with a small piece of bread and yogurt, sadly not quite enough bread. The soup was more pumpkin than carrot but I loved it. The roast beef sandwich had a poached egg on top but it was more of a hard boiled egg because the yolk was cooked solid. The service was quite slow and we had to ask for beverages more than once before they were brought to the table. A cute spot for an easy going lunch.

Yelp
Great place for brunch or just having coffee and a snack. Very stylish yet comfortable atmosphere. The club sandwich was a winner with crunchy toast and stuffed full of chicken, avocado, bacon and veg. The frites were twice fried so very crunchy. The Dutch apple pie was what brought me in because it looked so good in the window. It did not disappoint. Full of fresh apples and not too sweet. Will come back for other meals for sure.

Yelp
I just love this spot- so much that it has become my goto spot for brunch every weekend. Small and cozy, it is just at the beginning of the famous nine streets. Space is usually not an issue as it spans across 3 albeit small floors. The staff is nice and friendly and will go out of their way to help you enjoy your beverage or food. First things first - definitely get the carrot cake. Or save space for it later. The breakfast menu includes a ton of good stuff - vegetarian - from salads to croissants to granola. After 11 they also start serving a great selection of sandwiches for lunch. I have tried nearly everything vegetarian on the menu and the quality is fresh and amazing. You can't go wrong. Oh, and get the carrot cake!

Yelp
Food was delicious, and quite large portions. However service was a little slow on the day I visited. Would still recommend.

Yelp
Although service is extremely slow this is an enchanting place. Food delicious and a definite healthy place to relax with a quinoa salad and ginger tea.

Yelp
Location is great on one of the side streets close to the Pulitzer. Walked in as it looked very neat and setup and decor is cool and cozy. Service however is non existent. The sign should have been when I walked in she handed me a menu and left me to figure out where to without a word. By the time I was ready to order when she came to get my order it was just past noon. I asked with the Ree7 breakfast was still available. I was asked in some mumbling which I understood to check my phone. It was 12:01 to which she quickly said no. I was assured they are very principled, so it's still a great move. A simple americano coffee showed up 18 mins later, cold. As I am bored have started writing this and observing the interactions and errors in orders on all tables around me. 40 mins in "should I stay or should I go" is playing in my head. I have seen places run by absolute stoners with better service and passion. Okay, at 45 mins i am paying for my iced coffee and walking out. And they didn't bother to apologize or ask why and said 2.60 :)

Yelp
Horrible service! If you want to wait more than an hour for a coffee and a lousy breakfast, this is your gem..

Yelp
Charming cafe and delicious food!! I ordered a Goat Cheese/Fig sandwich and a latte. The sandwich was amazing!!! The setting is nicely decorated and the staff very friendly. The beautiful, tempting desserts in the window put it on my list to visit again.

Yelp
I had the breakfast menu and I was not impressed at all. My scrambled eggs were really dry, like cardboard dry, and had raw pieces of onion in them. Not appetizing at all. The bread was just a regular piece of white bread, nothing interesting about it. The butter was far too little and very cold so it was almost impossible to spread, and the "belgian cheese" was one (1) slice of cheese, like the pre-sliced one you get in a plastic package. The best thing about the breakfast was the cookie I got with my coffee. My friends ordered sandwiches which looked really good so I was even more disappointed about my breakfast when I saw that. With such different standard on different meals on the menu I would not recommend going here, but if you do, avoid the breakfast and order a sandwich.

Yelp
Excellent fresh and healthy sandwiches. We didn't have any of the coffee drinks or desserts but they looked great. A lot of people seemed to be getting the carrot cake. Great location on a very cute block and nice inside.

Yelp
Acai bowl is delicious, other than that, the rest of the menu is decent, but nothing amazing. This place is always short staffed with one person serving and one person making drinks. 4 stars for the food, 2 stars for the service and attentiveness.

Yelp
Loved it! Great spot for coffee and watching people go by through the window. Excellent apple pie, and I don't normally like pie - this one wasn't too sweet and wasn't a soggy mess. Friendly service. Cash only!

Yelp
It's ok for a small snack. Menu is not really clear and when ordering eggs they serve only one. Nothing special. Cakes looked decent but after being disappointed with the egg didn't want order anything else.

Yelp
They absolutely do not care about their customers. It is only the looks that matters for them as they kept us waiting for 15 minutes (the place was almost empty) while they were busy with their Instagram marketing photos. Several times we had eye contact with two of the waitresses to remind them we are here and waiting to order; but they did not even showed the courtesy of telling us they will come in a minute or so.

Yelp
Nice new place, I liked the interior. Food was ok, nothing special but not bad. Looking forward to trying the delicious looking apple pie next time. Very friendly staff!

Yelp
We stumbled upon this gem by coincidence walking the streets of Amsterdam, and it's a great find. The atmosphere and decor and so warm and inviting, the staff is very friendly and helpful, and the coffee and croissant were delicious!

Yelp
One of my favorite spots for meeting up. Great ambiance and a variety of drinks and things to eat. Friendly staff. Been there 3 to 4 times since I discovered Ree7 and no disappointment whatsoever and all cheers.

Yelp
Reall wanted something off the beaten path for breakfast. This place hit the make in every way. Atmosphere, service, quality. This could quickly become my favorite morning coffee spot!

Yelp
Ree 7 is the sort of place you can relax and enjoy a perfect lunch in a busy day of sightseeing and shopping. Located near the Anne Frank House and some really cute and unique shops, Ree 7 has a farm to table feel and menu. I had a grilled chicken sandwich and some broccoli soup. Unlike in the US, where grilled chicken can be tasteless, this sandwich had a few pieces of tender, tasty chicken with arugula, avocado and a nice mayo in between a pure and delicious brown baguette. The soup was fresh and tasty. My husband's sweet potato fries were delicious and our only disappointment was that they were out of carrot cake.
