Great place to take pets. Love how they have separate Play areas for small and large dogs. There’s ample seating and benches in both play areas as well as toys provided at the park. There’s also a separate area where you can clean off your pets if they get muddy. There’s also some really nice restrooms and plenty of parking as well as handicap spots. This is where I take a lot of my Pet Sitting clients pets and a place I constantly recommend to anyone with dogs. Please be on the lookout if you go to the large dog park side in the evening, there is a group of pet owners that are very neglectful of their dogs and they will attack you And if they do attack, you be warned those pet owners will spread rumors about you and your pet.

If there's such thing as "too popular", this is it. The park is beautiful and bigger than most but this fact has made it overcrowded and difficult to enjoy. I witnessed 3 separate dog fights per hour spent and do not expect this to change or for there to be a queue system ever. Edit: upgraded to 4 stars as I’ve been shown around and enjoyed my time now that i know the regulars. There is still the odd bad owner here and there but overall it’s okay, and if you’ve been victimized by ARLETTE, it is my pleasure to announce that she has moved!! 9 SEPARATE people with godawful experiences by her ignorance, attitude and immaturity. Everyone is thankful that she is gone so here is an ode: A Breath of Fresh Air: Arlette Has Left the Park For anyone who has ever hesitated to visit the park during certain hours, rejoice—Arlette is gone. After what felt like an eternity of her yelling, screaming, and staging verbal ambushes against polite dog owners, this park is finally reclaiming its peace. Arlette’s reign of terror wasn’t just about her relentless nastiness; it was her complete ignorance of her own and her dog’s behavior. Her dog, a poster child for unchecked misbehavior, ran wild while she dismissed any correction as “someone else’s fault.” If another dog dared to set boundaries, heaven forbid, it was immediately a personal affront to her delicate world view. People literally leashed their dogs out of fear when she was around. Many regulars altered their schedules entirely just to avoid crossing paths with her, choosing to disrupt their routines rather than endure the stress of her presence. The atmosphere she created wasn’t just uncomfortable—it was oppressive. People were shaken. Some trembled. But now? The park is transforming. Dogs are playing freely again, and owners are mingling without the constant threat of being berated for imagined slights. For those who’ve stayed away because of her, it’s time to come back and enjoy the park as it was meant to be—a safe, happy space for all. Here’s to brighter days and no more Arlette. Edit 2: Maintenance people should power wash every Tuesday. There are layers of sticky pee on the pink cement area, a pretty gross patina. Edit 3: the regulars are great people and overshadow the few bad things i mentioned. To hangout with us the best time to come is between 7-9pm. You can also attend late night as it is safe enough to come even as a small person, single girl or disabled.

Reed Street Dog Park, a magical space, Where pups like Zara find their place. A haven of joy, where tails never tire, In fields of green, they run and aspire. The air is crisp, the sky so wide, It’s pure enchantment on every side. Zara's paws dance on the dewy grass, Her happiness shines as the hours pass. The trees stand tall, casting gentle shade, In this perfect spot, where memories are made. It's more than a park, it's a dream come true, For every dog and their human too. Zara loves it here, it's her favorite spot, Where joy and peace are always sought. Reed Street's magic, a gift so rare, A place for pups, beyond compare.

EDITED review: I used to really like this place but now it just stinks, literally. It stinks like A LOT of piss every time I try to go. I get that dogs pee here, but it smells like the place is never cleaned. ———————— Old review: Many of the dog parks I’ve visited are pretty quiet — this isn’t one of them. There are usually lots of dogs in the park and the grounds are well maintained.

Reed Street Dog Park is one of the nicest we've visited in the South Bay! The park is well-maintained, offering both a big and small dog section, which is great for keeping different-sized pups comfortable. There’s also some much-needed shade for those hotter days, and the parking is convenient and easy to find. However, like many dog parks, it does get a bit smelly, especially when the weather warms up. We've also noticed a few dog scuffles, mostly due to non-socialized dogs, so it would be great if more owners were mindful of their dog's behavior—but this is the risk at any public dog park. Overall, it's still one of the best dog parks around. I also just heard about a new spot opening soon called Brindleden, and I’m excited to check it out! Hopefully, it brings a fresh experience for dog owners in the area.

The best dog park if you have a dog that’s reactive to bikes or anything with wheels. This one is different from regular dog parks which are situated next to kids park because of which there are many kids/people on bikes. This park is a bit on its own because of which you only see dogs. Also, it’s always busy with great dogs. So can some anytime and your dog will have fun.

This is our dogs' fav dog park. Very clean, large on both the small and big dog sides. Several waste bag stations, pooper scoopers, and garbage cans. Good parking, excellent bathrooms for a park, EV chargers, and decent amount of shade for hot days. The only thing that is a little bit of not good is the drinking fountain. The water is often cloudy or dirty and maybe it needs draining... and there is only one on one side of the large park. It still works for the dogs. And there is an awesome water area outside the big abs small dog parks to refill kids, wash your dog fish, etc. That's a nice touch. When it's really hot, recommend bringing water bowl and jug.

Love this park! We’ve been coming here for a few months after moving to SJ. It’s in a convenient and clean area, it’s big, separates big and small dogs, has a water fountain for dogs and humans as well as poop bag dispensers next to trash cans. It’s always clean and well taken care of. We’ve never had a bad experience with other dogs or owners, everyone is respectful, responsible and takes care of their pets. Very friendly environment! We’ve definitely started making friends with the regulars.
