Georgie, One of Dallas’s Premiere Steakhouses, Plans Big Changes | Eater Dallas

"I work with Reeves Family Farm in Princeton, Texas and have found their tomatoes phenomenal and their red spinach incredible, though high heat can shorten availability." - Courtney E. Smith

All of the produce here is so good. It is all fresh and you can pick what you want or grab a pre-selected container. If you want one of the weekly changing options for pre-prepared and refrigerated items, I recommend going on Friday. They sell out pretty quickly. BUT, if you want a good meal, they serve lunch for purchase on Saturdays. I had the hamburger and it was huge and oh so good. The sweet tea was on point as well. They have some beautiful Great Pyrenees guardian dogs on site so please remember to leave your own pets at home when visiting. They also have homemade ice cream so you can always grab that to entertain the kiddos while you shop. I also recommend bringing a cooler as it just makes it easier to get your refrigerated and frozen treasures home still cold. Love this place!! My only complaint would be for it to be closer to home. 😉

This was a fun fall outing for us. Picked up some local honey, enjoyed a glass of apple cider, and bought some fall decorations. Would’ve loved to taste their take home dinners and farm-fresh eggs (they looked do good) but we weren’t going straight home. Loved their flower bouquets and there was a you-pick option too.

Love this place. Produce during the summer is excellent! Prepared meals ate good. Jams. Marinara sauce. Baked goods. Fresh eggs. Only bad thing is they are now closed for the season. Will be anxiously waiting until spring.

Super cute store with amazing products and great staff. I’ve got the name of the place from a list of pumpkin patches to visit with children and, although they sell pumpkins and have nice fall decor at display, they don’t have any other activities or structures like petting zoo or a playground. Still we had a nice time, certainly enjoyed their donuts and took home a pecan cobbler that was insanely good.

Stopped by Reeves Family Farm and really liked it. They had a nice mix of fresh produce, canned goods, and baked treats. The strawberries were super sweet, and the kolaches were absolutely delicious. Didn’t get pictures of everything we picked up, but it was all super fresh. Definitely planning to shop here more instead of the grocery store.

We’re relatively new to Princeton and I wanted to visit local places. My goodness this place is so awesome. Everything’s made locally or grown on the farm right there. This blueberry crisp desert that’s gluten free, one of the best deserts I’ve ever had. The strawberry jalapeno preserves are phenomenal as well, it’s not overly spicy and so smooth. 10/10 will be back.

They serve delicious, farm to table lunch and homemade ice cream on Saturdays from 11am until sold out. Their pantry is always full of farm made foods with an open-air farm-fresh fruits and vegetables.

Google
Great small family farm. If you're from Apple Picking country then this place is for you! The closest thing to north states cider donuts you'll find around! The store has a lot of fresh veggies and fruit, but the maple glazed is what will be pulling you back. Don't forget to try the thirst quenching cider! Just do the combo! Totally worth it!

Yelp
My family stopped in to see what meats were available. There were watermelons and peaches and much more! It was packed and we didn't see anywhere to sit (plus it was 90+ degrees and the kids were hot) so we didn't actually stay and wait to order any food. But there's plenty of parking despite the crowd. Looks like a wonderful place to find some treats!

Yelp
We love this farm!! This was our first year visiting and have decided it is now a staple for us every fall. We mostly went for the fresh apple cider & maple donuts and chilled apple cider, but were delightfully surprised by all the other things Reeves Family farm had to offer. We walked the pumpkin patch, walked across the lawn to watch the longhorn, mini horse, chickens and giant hogs. The kids loved snuggling the large dog that wanders around. We took our time walking through the market eyeing the fresh chicken pot pies, fudge, breads, eggs, meats, cinnamon rolls, honey, caramels and so much more! On this trip we each ordered the donuts + cider to start and took home honey sticks and some other goodies. The lunch special sounded delicious to0, but we were a bit full from donuts and cider. The donuts were a hit! I enjoyed the cider and took some home to my hubby, but the kids weren't fans of the spice (authentic flavors ). We will definitely be back! ***BRING CASH!!!!!

Yelp
Brought my granddaughters. The nachos were amazing. The store had lots of great produce. The people were super friendly. They took time to explain everything since this was our first visit. We had so much fun. We will be back.

Yelp
Reeves family farm is located just 20 minutes from McKinney off and close to 380. When getting there it reminds you of what Texas used to look like: as bunch of farm roads and agricultural destinations. Reeves family farm is worth definitely worth a visit. This farm has a nice selection of seasonal produce when we went: cucumbers, bell peppers, okra, tomatoes, pumpkins. The farm also sells pastries and baked goods like bread pies and prepped food like meatloaf. We also came for the donuts and cider since we're from Michigan and cider mills are a big deal there. They do have a kitchen that sells cider and donuts for 6.50. They have two flavors maple and plain. When we went they do offer wood cutouts for awesome pictures for the kids and pumpkin tic tac toe activities. I do wish they did more like they did in Michigan: hay rides, etc Some tips: I would recommend bringing cash. They try to avoid fees for anything under 40 bucks. Also, I would bring a bag if you don't want a plastic one for your produce. Overall, we had a good time and would come back to support this local organic farm.

Yelp
We love the farm! My husband and I have bought farm shares since they started that program and we were customers years before that! It isn't just produce, it's eggs, it's milk and cheese, it's meat, breads and cinnamon rolls! On Saturdays they have lunch...it can be anything from brisket sandwiches, Frito chili pie, or burgers. Always comes with sides, dessert and sweet tea! So. Good. Now that they have their fall market open it's pumpkins, gourds and mums galore! They still have some garden produce available! Go check them out!

Yelp
We wanted to take a little road trip from Rowlett this Saturday so we stopped by this farm. It was really pretty as we drove up and there was plenty of parking. They were serving a special Father's Day lunch plate for $18.99. It was bbq chicken, squash casserole, purple hull peas, and serving of pecan cobbler. The chicken was cold at first bite so I took it back up to the counter. They apologized and were really nice about preparing a different plate, and this time it was nice and warm. My favorite was the squash casserole. We also took a look at the fruit stand inside and bought some peaches, a jar of blueberry jam, and a peach ice cream for the road. We couldn't stay long because our puppy was in the car with the windows down. They don't allow any outside dogs because the owners have protective dogs on the property. We should have looked at the website before coming because they do have that posted. There are no indoor restrooms, but they do have a port-o-potty. It's a little unstable and rocks, just FYI. This is obviously a family run farm, but they do have plenty of employees to help. They keep the area very clean, and there are covers areas and plenty of tables to sit at and look at the views. If you're from out of town, be sure you bring a small cooler so you can buy some of the refrigerated or frozen items.

Yelp
First time here, have to say i loved it. Lots of LOCAL and farm to table products. Got a hamburger and it was good. Prices were affordable which is great when on a budget. For those whom enjoy farmers markets: definetly check out Reeves farm store.

Yelp
We purchased our first farm share a couple of years ago at the recommendation of our daughter. We absolutely love it and always look forward to the next season. Wonderful place, wonderful people.

Yelp
They bring in produce from a supply house and resell it for a high price! We saw the boxes they were unloading when we were there this past weekend!! That is just wrong!!

Yelp
A must go in the area. The produce is wonderful and the cinnamon rolls are delicious. It's nice to get a sweet tea on a hot day and if you're there at lunch time it's always worth picking up their special. This is a wonderful business to support!

Yelp
The veggies are so good!! I got huge squash and was able to start filling my freezer for the winter!
