Vintage Decal Cups Are the New Cocktail Glass, And We're Here for it | Bon Appétit

"The proprietor has turned secondhand expertise into a business selling antique barware to restaurants and advises that decal glasses are commonly available and affordable at thrift stores (roughly $5–$10 each), while complete sets and rarer pieces command higher prices; for targeted searches she recommends Etsy, eBay and specialist online retailers." - ByHilary Cadigan

Google
Like this place and bought two items with good price. The people here were very friendly.

Just ok...there are better shops out there. The prices definitely seem higher than other antique shops in the Lancaster/Harrisburg area. And as someone else pointed out, no one should be proudly displaying Nazi memorabilia, its shameful.

Big antique/vintage warehouse. You could spend hours looking around at everything Refindings has to offer. Little trinkets and glassware to amazing retro furniture in great shape. Something for everyone to enjoy here. If your interested in antiques or vintage items at all, you have to visit this store!

Just found this place and there was a lot to look at! Will definitely come again to see what's new!

Fun place with a TON of stuff! It doesn't look like much from the outside but you could easily spend a whole day (and a whole paycheck) here! Def a York treasure!

Very nice people who run the store. Everyone is greeted who walks in and given directions on navigating 2 stories of stuff. Very rarely do I walk out of an antique store with nothing and this was definitely a time. It looked like a bunch of leftover stuff from auctions, things I could buy at a thrift store. Things were a little bit pricey for the quality as well.

My friend & I were extremely appalled to find MULTIPLE Nazi items on display here. One was even behind glass front and center as if it’s a prized possession. NO ONE should collect Nazi paraphernalia- it’s not a collectible- it’s a stain on humanity. I am shocked the owners think this is ok….

Very large antique shop, with 2 floors of unique finds. Give yourself several hours to see everything offered. Plenty of off street parking.

Yelp
Big place full of antiques, just sad to see multiple displays that held Nazi paraphernalia. Not something I think should be sold or displayed.

Yelp
Incredible find full of incredible finds! This sprawling multi-floor warehouse has everything from a wall full of old doors to antique furniture, 50s retro rooms, bookshelves, desks, pitchers, a hobby horse, old tools, butcher block tables, oh my! I recently purchased multiple furniture pieces for my home and was thrilled with the quality, price and service. The stewards of the place are extremely friendly as well. Of the half a dozen antique shops I visited this week, I bought more here than anywhere else! I'll be back!

Yelp
I enjoy shopping around antique / repurposing stores around the country. So while in York I decided to visit this store. Unfortunately the Circa room was closed. I would have liked to see the cool stuff other reviewers noted. Overall I found the area in the building I was able to see as "ok" but nothing overly interesting. There was some nice Mid Century pieces on the 2nd floor but not much inventory overall in regards to furniture. Lots of smalls in most vendor booth areas. There was a section of repurposed doors / windows. Worth the trip while in town. I'd reco you visit when the Circa room is open.

Yelp
Great place! We bought everything from a mcm dresser, a retro lamp to Fiestaware and the price was reasonable considering the condition of everything. The place is huge, has stalls from individual people so prices vary but none were totally unreasonable. The place is a lot of fun to browse and it worth checking out

Yelp
I went here thinking it was going to be mostly architectural salvage which I wasn't looking for, but there was a lot more than that! Wide selection of antiques throughout the store with very reasonable prices. I bought mostly pressed glass with some pieces being 3 dollars.

Yelp
Amazing finds and a maze of booths and well priced finds. It's a treasure trove! As with any antique/vintage mall, go in with an idea of what you're looking for, take your time, and see what pops out at you! The owner was so nice, too, and two gentlemen helped me carry a heavy item to my car and problem solved with me how to ensure it fit securely. I will definitely be back!

Yelp
Wow, wow and wow. I am in the building industry and a lover of great architecture. This place has the neatest stuff. Really amazing pieces (old fire mantles, doors, windows, hardware, etc... the real stuff, not some fake being sold as the real thing. Be sure to walk in the back to Circa Antiques. This guy does amazing wood restoration and has an eye for retro 50's, 60's and 70's furniture. I swear I saw stuff in there that looked like new, but was 50 years old. If you are looking for that one piece to make a room something of a conversation piece, this is where you should go.

Yelp
Cool place, very crowded with different booths of sellers. The upstairs is a little more open and less crowded. God help ya if your claustrophobic, is all I'm saying. Someone has a twisted streak as they are very into Halloween. With a nod to Tippi Hedren and the 1963 movie "The Birds", they have set up a phone booth with a mannequin and birds attacking. Plus a child mannequin on the ground that has been attacked by the birds and apparently they encourage live birds as well by placing peanuts in the shells on the derrière to entice them. A little odd. If your into mod, retro 60's Swedish furniture, they have a hidden nook on the first floor where someone is refinishing and possibly even building furniture tables and cabinets and such. Prices are high on some things ungodly cheap on the other. As you will find when it's more antique mall ish with multiple sellers. But definitely not a snobby place. We will be back in the future. It's the kind of place when thrift/antique/re-sell shops are your thing you put on the list to visit again in 6-12 months. As I don't get the impression the inventory changes faster then that.

Yelp
Excellent store for eclectic and re-purposed materials. We've been loyal customers since the Warehouse was on George Street, but visit more often lately. It's no longer just limited to architectural items, but now has several consigners that give the store a great variety. With a house over 100 years old, we often stop by before starting a project. If you are fixing up an old house - start here to find what you are looking for to fit your needs. Sometimes you find that "they just don't make it like they used to." When you are ready to decorate, come back and find just the right item to fill the space. Lou is the manager and is quirky, hilarious and helpful... in his own way. Circa Antiques is located in the back of the store. A must see for unique furniture. And, don't forget to check out the upstairs and outside. It's like going to a museum or gallery sometimes. One tip - think about how you will have your big items delivered. This store does not provide delivery.

Yelp
Be very careful! I found the perfect piece there on EBay, but it took 2-3 days to get a shipping estimate so I could enter my bid. When I didn't get a response from my EBay email, I called. While trying to just verify that the shipping would not be prohibitive, an employee promised me they would hold it for me while they got the information. Once I finally got the shipping from a second employee, I agreed to buy it and he told me they were going to take it off EBay and that it was sold to me. ( I was driving, but was going to have my husband enter the bid until the employee assured me it was mine.) They did not, however, cancel the auction or tell me they weren't going to do so after all, and sold it subsequently to someone else. I tried to discuss this with the owner, but he/she refused to even return my call. Not the way I do business!

Yelp
Interesting place to visit. Lots of recycled items and ever-changing inventory. Convenient parking.
