EXCELLENT COCKTAILS My wife and I dropped by for a drink before dinner. There were other people but it was not busy. So we got ourselves seated quickly. The decor is a bit cool - lacking a vibe of some kind. But it is clean and has great views. The bartenders are at the bar where you order - no service at the tables or seating arrangements. The cocktail menu offers some very nice and interesting selections. And the bartenders shake them up well and decorate them nicely. However. One bartender was more interested in chatting up some young women than paying attention to our cocktails. He made them well but when complete he just left our drinks at the bar without telling us they were done - not trying to get our attention to come pick them up. So not impressed. The other bartender was more engaged and professional. But. This is definitely a place to go for cocktails.

The atmosphere and view is amazing, and if you are here when Zak is bartending you will be in great hands, he is so nice and fun and he made me the most delicious drink based off of what I liked!!! Wonderful experience, will be back!

One of my favorite bars in Fort Worth. Big space with multiple seating/vibe options. Sit at the bar to socialize with strangers, or find a comfortable chair with a view in the back. Dog friendly; Blue always makes a few friends. I normally stick to beer but the cocktails are expertly made, and every bartender is nice / knows what they’re doing.

This place is awesome, great drinks and quiet atmosphere. I would highly recommend this place, you also dont have to have a room in the hotel to come up here. Its inside the Kimper hotel top floor. I haven't had any food here so i cannot speak to that. The drinks in the video are the Bees' Knees and an Espresso Martini.

This place is amazing. I hope too many don’t find out about it but if you do, hit up my boy Zak behind the bar.. also maybe the best espresso martini there is.

Zack (Zach?) is fantastic! Great atmosphere, drinks, and service! I can’t wait to go back. I had the Dr. Feelgood which was the perfect balance of sweet with a little kick.

Cozy hotel bar, has an almost library feel, but depending on the crowd it can get a tad bit louder than your local library ;) There were two bartenders on staff, and they kept patrons moving in a pretty quick fashion. Seating included couches, tables (high and low tops), and lounge furniture - however if you're not there at a decent time you may run the risk of not having any seating. Bonus: Per a special request, they had hot chocolate on hand!

The bartenders are super arrogant and have a bad attitude. You show them a picture of a drink from Yelp and they say they don't know what it is, even though it's clear they could make it in many ways. I really didn't like the service; it was not "nice" as people say. It seems like they treat some people better than others. Also, the view is not really a rooftop -- everything is indoors. I don't recommend this place.

This place had a great atmosphere. The steak I got here was good but the truffle fries could've been better. And the drink was good.

Refinery 714 is a hotel bar, above street-level, that offers a solid vibe and an attentive bartender. (I specify the location because it was a bit hard for us to find after dark) We, a small group, stopped in on a weeknight for a nightcap and found the chill vibe to be exactly what we were looking for. We ordered directly from the bar and the bartender, although serving a few other people at the time, knocked out or order very quickly. And she made a solid old fashion to boot! What I really liked about this spot were two things: the variety of places to sit (with varied seating types) and the history on display related to the building itself. Not only can you kill brain cells but you can build them too! Given the time of day... night... we didn't stay too long but we all had a good time. Check this place out if you're liking what you hear, you won't be disappointed!

We love Refinery 714 at the top floor of the Kimpton on our staycations. The food and drinks are outstanding and the overall vibe is great! The service here is top notch. We will definitely return!

So the wife likes to find cool little spots that serve great cocktails and she found this place, Refinery 714 in Fort Worth. We normally don't go to Fort Worth for anything and I really didn't want to for this place, but she was wanting to nice drink for the evening, so I promised her we would go. It's actually in a nice area in downtown Fort Worth atop The Harper building with nice views. We got there a little before 5:30 and found seats closest to the end of the bar, because like some have mentioned, if tons of people are at the bar, it's kind of tough to order a drink. There is plenty of seating once you get your drink, but yeah. Anywho, things started off great, the drinks were nice and strong. Tori the senior bartender made me a drink called The Last Words, which was really great. There was another younger bartender I forget her name but let's just call her Madison, she looked like a Madison, she made my other drink I forgot what it was called. We had a total of 2 drinks each, which is all you need. Besides the drink and the views, we wanted to give this cheeseburger a try. So, the wife ordered her cheeseburger because she wanted to eat it there, I wanted mine to go because I wanted to focus on the drink The wife said the burger was perfectly cooked and the fries were fully nicely cooked. So, when her burger hit the bar, I placed my order with Madison to go, so that when I my wife finished eating, mine should be ready to go. Well, I did notice that Madison didn't seem to put the order in right at that moment, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because she seemed to put something about 5 minutes later, but it was for drinks and not my order. So, when we were ready to get our bill and leave, I mentioned that I should have a to go order but it's still not here yet and THAT'S when I saw Madison scrambling to finally put that to go order in and that meant that we had to wait even longer for my order. Shortly after that I overheard Madison tell Tori that she f*#&%d up and didn't put my order in earlier like she should have and Tori said don't worry about that we probably forgot about it or didn't care, so when I heard that, I was furious. I did bring it to Tori's attention that I did hear the conversation between her and Madison and didn't appreciate the comment and that was unacceptable. I was then offered a complimentary drink for our troubles, but I declined. Over all, we had a great time, the drinks were good and the burger and fries were spot on. The reason for the 1 star is because Madison forgot to put my order in and Tori's comment.

What a treat, this bar! It's on top of the Kimpton Hotel that has an easy to find valet. We came to Refinery 714 for before dinner drinks. It was perfect! We had to try some fries too; wowza, we almost ate the entire massive plate of them. I LOVED the Tipsy Tori; I'll be back for that girl. Yum! This is a cool place to hang with friends and maybe even play some cards.

Great service and conversation with bartenders Zach, Tori (sp.) and server Riley. Didn't try the food but the Berry Bliss with local condigo tequila had some heat but I really enjoyed the local "Shiner Bock" on draft. I had 2 glasses due to the suggestion made by the bartenders... When in Texas you gotta try "local".

Ambiance was great, however, service was very slow. Food was very good! May return and will tell friends.

Cute decor, welcoming atmosphere and great customer service! Bartender Sydney made greater suggestions to accommodate my citrus allergy. Gave four stars instead of five just because they don't offer Apple martinis which are my favorite! Other than that great place for Saturday afternoon hangout!

As an international traveling food critic and unbeknownst to the staff, the following is what I experienced: + Zack was very welcoming, personable, and extremely efficient. + Comfortable atmosphere. + Quality of food was excellent. - Managed to an inadequate level to handle food orders on a Sunday night, Zack's oversight is the only reason for no downgrading my previous 5-Star to a 2-Star. If you are in the area and don't take the time to dine here, you missed out on a superb experience.

Great new spot on the 24th floor penthouse of the new Kimpton Harper hotel. The building was built in 1921 and they have done a great job restoring it. The bar has 360 views of downtown and lots of modern seating. Drinks are tasty and staff incredible

Here in town, checked in to the hotel, came up to sit around and enjoy the open space and view. Had a drink, it was good, not very strong... It was a nice place to sit without going outside.

Views are unbelievable. Good selection of liquors and the bartender was fun Cool place to enjoy a drink.

I don't know why this place doesn't have higher reviews. The bartender was super personable. (And I kinda wanted that apron for myself.) The views were great, and the space was super cool and relaxing. My husband and I enjoyed all the drinks we ordered. If we find ourselves back in Fort Worth we'd bop back up there for another delicious libation.

My favorite Fort Worth evening venue. And besides the incredible cocktails! And fabulous staff! And the he live music is off the chart! This s is a five star evening venue in the Fort Worth skyscraper canopy for drinks and the best live music in town!! The mixologists are without comparison. Ask for an original cocktail!! My favorite FW venue!

Fantastic. Really amazing drinks. The staff here is awesome. It's busy enough to be lively but not so busy it's crowded like many of the other near by places on the ground floor below. Certainly a win.

Met up with my wife downtown before a show at Bass Hall. Food was good (small happy hour menu), atmosphere is super chill, and the view is great. Bartender was awesome - forget her name. She was cutting up jalapenos and I asked her about it, so she slung me out a drink with some jalapeno infused liquor in it. Tasty. I'd go back. Edit: I forgot to begin my review with "As an internationally famous travelling food critic..."

Stopped in here twice on a recent trip. Wednesday night had live music that was pretty good. Top notch Old Fashioned as well Thursday was the same OF with less crowd and noise. Cool place.

My husband and I are locals to the area but we love finding hidden treasures! This rooftop bar is a treasure! The views of downtown are gorgeous... open concept with tons of seating and comfy couches... cozy ambience and the drinks and service at the bar are wonderful! Would highly recommend stopping in for a pre dinner or after dinner cocktail! One of our favorite places now!

Completely chill vibes here. More of a lounge, super comfortable and not too loud. The bartender made us a special lemon ginger drink (which should be on the menu in our opinion!) Even the bathroom has a great view

It's in a very beautiful setting and I think I would come here with a friend for a drink or two, but that's it. I ordered the "spicy" chicken sliders and a coke for $20. The food came out in a timely manner and the bartender was kind. But when I got to my room I was severely underwhelmed. The chicken sliders were not spicy at all and the ranch tasted off. I got a side of the truffle aioli as well and that tasted weird too. Overall unimpressed for what they're charging people.

Great small bar with amazing views east of Fort Worth. Whiskey selection is good and the mixed drinks are unique.

Tori the bartender crafted the cocktail menu HERSELF & its art. The Isabella is my personal favorite. The vibe, the ambience, the views, the live music was incredible. Tori made the experience even better w her mixology skills and her amazing personality. Love it here

Pricing is incredible high! Watch out if you enjoy bourbon,... you will get hit with a $4 dollar rocks charge. If you buy the bottle after two drinks it's a bit high. Service was very slow and they were not busy Best of luck

Zach is awesome we came for our 3 year anniversary. He's very talented in his mixology but he's also really great company! So friendly! We will be back. Recommending to all my friends.

I rarely ever leave reviews of anywhere but I just had to for this place. We were in town for a quick meeting. Great atmosphere for a group to hang out and have some drinks. The bartenders are very talented professionals that serve up fabulous custom crafted cocktails. I'm very glad we stumbled into this place. This place is a winner!

Penthouse bar at the Kimpton Harper Hotel. Great spot for a drink and a light bite. Very chill, great decor and the views are incredible. Victoria took great care of us and was super knowledgeable and professional. We tried a few of her off menu cocktails, the Springtime Lovin' and the My Bloody Valentine, and they were both amazing! Definitely a must see if you're in downtown Fort Worth. Can't wait to go back!
