To be the first place to open doors at the Mill on Etowah in Canton, Reformation Brewery is leading the charge in turning that massive old Mill into something absolutely fantastic!
We actually swung in the Mill for the Antique Mall, and were pleasantly surprised to see Reformation Brewery - so, naturally...we had to grab a cold one and check it out before wondering around aimlessly for an hour or two! Cool thing is, you can actually take your beer to go if you are headed inside of the antique mall, which is pretty sweet!
This location is of course very new, so with any business they are figuring things out as the crowds continue to come. The Tap Room is wide open and features a pretty large bar, a few high tops and a merch store. They also have a private room off to the side, so if you have a private event or party, they got you covered! One thing that seemed a little different than a lot of the breweries around is all the coppers and other brewing equipment where the magic happens is behind door and window. This just makes me want to get back there with a tour even that much more! In addition to the Tap Room, they have an AMAZING patio that is partially covered and uncovered, so you know this place is going to be rocking on those Georgia Spring and Fall days! I mean, guys...the patio is huge, it's got to be larger than the inside area! They have space for all types of activities, corn hole being one of the most popular...they even have a league, yes a Corn hole League! In addition, they also feature Taco Tuesday's currently - so, corn hole, tacos, beer...oh my! My only concern so far, and I feel it will change as the crowd continues to come, is the amount of seating in the tap room and patio - currently it is pretty limited.
Now, to the beers...because that is honestly what you are here for, right!? I can't speak to many of them, but they have a solid variety of drinks from basic ales to whites, all the way to porters and a plethora of sours! Simply put, they got you covered on whatever you like.
Canton is a little hike for us, and we now have our own Reformation in Smyrna, but I guarantee this will not be the last time we visit the Canton location! The Mill itself is transforming into an absolutely amazing experience and I am excited to see Reformation grow with it all!
