"In this small village of Upper Savoie, once the French capital of raspberries, foodies will find refuge in this family-run inn. The plush, Belle Époque-inspired restaurant has been entirely refurbished in a contemporary style. Following in his father’s footsteps, chef Hubert Chanove concocts dishes that cater to modern tastebuds, with creative notes inspired by local produce and wild herbs and flowers picked in the surrounding countryside. His dishes generally revolve around a season or an ingredient (fish from Lake Geneva, game, black truffles, etc). The Bistro is open for lunch (Thurs-Sat and only by reservation)." - Michelin Inspector

My second time at this place, each time as a lunch stop on a cycling tour in the region. The staff is super friendly and forthcoming and the food is simply divine.

We got here with some friends, didn't know about the place but what a gem! We had the 7 courses menu, it was all about surprises and discovery dishes. The food was obviously delicious, but we were also amazed by the team. From the runner to the œnologue, everyone was both professional and friendly. The chef word on our way out was also a great addition. Definitely recommended!

Yelp
A very nice meal except for one dish that was not good, the baronne de boeuf, cooked for many hours but tough. We told them when they came by but no gesture was offered. A mistake in my book. this was on the cheapest menu, but still... The rest was quite good, refined, well presented. One of the best foie gras ever, and I've been around. I imagine if you order the more elaborate meals you will be happy, but that does not really excuse the tough meat and no gesture afterwards. Next time I shall put down my fork and knife and send the dish back.
