"Heisler Hospitality went old school and drew upon the city’s culinary past for its project inside the Google building. While brunch doesn’t offer the drool-worthy prime rib sandwich, it does have hearty eats such as pierogies, a fried chicken biscuit, and lamb crepinette. Diners who really want to show off their Chicago pride can also sip on the Deli Counter Fizz, made with Malört, vodka, pineapple shrub, lemon, soda, and celery." - Jeffy Mai

Overall the food was very good. Most of the food on the menu is high-end, well presented, restaurant fare, but for some reason they also have a section containing a sandwich, fries, pizza etc. But that didn't seem to detract from the quality of the other dishes. Really enjoyed the shrimp mid-sized plate and the rib-eye main.

Really great brunch! Great for a post hangover meal and all made very flavorful. The pictures attached are of the Whitefish Toast, Pierogis, and French Toast. This was for two people and was a good amount of food. We didn’t get cocktails, but they all looked and sounded amazing. Will definitely be back.

Came in for restaurant week, but that proved to not be the best option - instead we all ordered off the regular menu and loved it! I got the fried chicken and biscuit, and it was AWESOME. The chicken was perfectly done, and the gravy on the side knocked it out of the park.

Everything we tried was terrific and besides the burger (which was great) nothing was the way you would find it on another menu...crudités, broccolini, trifle, even cheese fries! Impressive range of upgraded chicago old school street food.

The food was absolutely perfect. Get the fried chicken biscuit. The chicken is likely brined, so it's juicy and delicious. The biscuit was perfect, with a crispy crust. The service was stellar. A great all around meal. Casual, hipster ambiance great for meeting up with friends. Oh, and they have a boozy brunch, so how can you not love it.

Came for brunch and nothing special at all. Service was horrible. Took over a half hour to just get a drink order in, another 15 for anything to show up and nearly an hour for food to show. None of the drinks showed up together. Food also didn’t show at the same time, they clearly either forgot a side order or it was never put in. We were only a 4 top and the place was not overly busy. Half of the group had to send the food back to be cooked fully. Raw egg soup? Borderline disgusting. Overpriced food that’s just not so interesting. And LOUD. Never understand why these places feel it’s necessary to blast music so no one can have a normal conversation. I don’t believe anyone was poisoned so I’ll give it two stars, but absolutely no reason to ever go back or recommend.

Creative twists on Midwestern Cuisine in an inviting, retro-styled space. Staff get an A+ for service level and friendliness. We've been here a few times already and will continue to come back. Side note: the coffee they serve here is exquisite. One of the best blends I've ever tasted.
