Regency Bar & Lounge

The experience I had at Regency was definitely a good one. The room was designed to perfection and had a very elegant and modern feel to it. The low lights added a feel of mystery and fun. We didn't need a reservation, there were six of us in total. We had to get an extra table though because the little round table couldn't hold much. I don't think a large group would do well here. The spacing is for a more intimate setting. The food: The food didn't come out all at once. Which was a bit upsetting. But good things we're all friends and just ate from each other's plate. My order was completely forgotten and by the time it came, everyone had already eaten. I, luckily was already full and just boxed it up to go. The wide variety of the menu was a plus and everyone ordered something different. The only thing I would say wasn't so tasty was the red peas soup. The serving quantity is a lot! So you'll be able to take home some even after eating. Don't be scared by the price being in USD because the prices are definitely affordable and worth it. The drinks were definitely A1. Not one drink missed the mark. The bartender knew what he was doing. The server was ok. I'm guessing he was overwhelmed with the different tables. So we were overlooked a few times. I would definitely go back for a date with my partner. I see a few things I wanna try from the menu. Each person spent around $4000-$5000

This is actually for regency restaurant not the bar. Here for our anniversary, coincidentally also mother’s days. 2 waiters and an asst to cover 11 tables. Food was great, servers were polite but obviously stressed, poor attentiveness. Was there for 3 hrs. Wanted to order dessert but gave up because we couldn’t get assistance.

This place deserves five stars for many reasons: it's safe, the decoration is wonderful, the service is attentive and professional, the cocktails 🍸 are delicious, the food is awesome and the prices are fair. If you are in Jamaica this is an excellent choice for having good food, meet friends and having a drink.

Great classic old school bar with a great selection of Caribbean rum. This place has turbo charged air conditioning and speakers so sometimes it can get very cold and very loud. Thursday nights used to be the best but not sure now after covid. Also the bar area is now back open for seating and so is the outside patio area.

My birthday dinner was amazing. The room is beautiful and the food is tasty and very filling. I've enjoyed every single restaurant at this hotel. The pastries as well are to die for. Certainly worth a try for a special occasion. I must say it's on the pricey side but well worth it. I also received a complementary slice of birthday cake which was really well made as well so that was a plus.

Regency is in my top 2 places in the corporate area to relax and unwind in a great atmosphere. Let me start by saying, THE BEST MOJITO IN JAMAICA leading any competition by a whole mile. As a person who loves to go out just to unwind and peacefully, I choose here quite often. They are one of the most consistent places I've been to when it comes to maintaining quality and standards. I often recommend Regency to my friends and I've never let a soul down with my recommendation. For one, the atmosphere is amazing. And you'll get this feel when you approach the main door and the EVER PLEASANT door man opens up and welcomes you in. Next the area has such great lighting and show room is beautiful for pictures; a lady will love here as a first, fifth or random date (and notice I said lady.) Secondly, I'd recommend live music on a Wednesday night to EVERYONE. Between Wednesday night and Friday nights are infectious ways to relieve stresses of any work week. Lastly, the bathroom and environs are never not clean which is an A+ for me on any given day. So with food and drinks being always timely delivered and consistently good, go dress up and give them a try. Call before you go there for a mojito tho. It's sold so frequently they'll often run low on mint for it. And again I'll say this with my chest BEST MOJITO IN JAMAICA!

The bar and lounge is quite attractive. It's outdoor and indoor look has a very sexy appeal. The food are bar type meals to complement the bar settings. My favorite was the mixed grill entree...very nice. The drinks are top shelfed liquors and was very familiar to my taste buds. The staff are polite and check frequently if their guest were okay. I strongly recommend this location for friends or date night with someone you find interesting. The menu and drink prices are all quoted in US$ so although local monies are accepted it is considered a bit expensive locally. I loved it there!

We went mainly for the $2000 cocktail special which starts at 2pm. For large parties a reservation is ideal. We were unaware, however, we were early so we were able to be accommodated. I like all of the cocktails. It was in all a very rewarding experience and u am looking forward to my next visit.
