So happy they opened this location! They have the best cakes in WA state! My favorite is probably Black Forest while moose cakes are fantastic as well! Now they added a basque cheesecake, which is getting more popular. If you are not sure- grab a slice of each! I think I tried them all! They offer a handwritten note on their cakes for special occasions l.

No matter the location, they make the best cakes in Seattle and beyond. Always fresh, beautifully decorated, and absolutely delicious. Whether it’s a birthday, celebration, or just a sweet craving they never disappoint!

The red-bean pastry was top-notch, buttery and wonderfully flaky. I will say it’s a bit disingenuous to leave the $1 tip automatically set on the pay screen hoping I wouldn’t notice it. Sorry I failed to notice what you actually did during my visit considering I picked up the pastry, walked it myself to the register and checked out with Apple Pay. I’m not sure a tip is warranted. Thanks.

Veriety of cake, bread and stuffed buns. Fruit cake as birthday cake is awesome. The service is very nice.

Coconut Peanut Mochi is very expensive. Especially their stuffing is on a very light side and the dough is very thick! There are not much peanut in the dough. Very disappointed it.

Tried multiple baked goods and was extremely impressed. Will be back to try more! Polite, friendly service. Drinks were very good as well.

Bought 4 egg tarts this past Saturday, along with 2 sponge cakes and a 6 inch taro cake. One family member ate one egg tart and ended up sick, throwing up and developing a rash. We think it may be salmonella food poisoning. In the shop, the egg tarts were stored behind an open-air display on the counter without any lids or doors, so maybe that was a contributing factor. We threw away the rest of the egg tarts. Not sure how I feel about the rest of the foods here now. The attached photo is not mine, it's from another reviewer that is tagged in the photo, but it shows the open-air display that I'm referring to.

It's been a while since I've visited regent bakery, so seeing one in issaquah was a pleasant surprise! The area was smaller than expected, but clean with a limited selection of bakeries and lots of cake slices. I was surprised to see how expensive the cakes were, even some of my favorite breads like the coconut cream were closer to $4 each! Unfortunately, given the current economy, I believe this is now the standard cost of dessert breads. I got two breads and one drink! The green tea bun was great- there was a generous amount of filling, and the combo of mochi with cream was very satisfying. The pineapple bun was also delicious, I loved that there was filling inside which kind of reminded me of a cocktail bun/custard bun. Both breads had the standard Asian bakery texture that I love- soft, chewy, and not too sweet or dense. The milk tea flavor was a great combo, though I found the drink to be pretty sweet at 50%. Of the two pastries, the green tea is my favorite! Overall, the bakery tasted as good as I remembered. However, given its prices, I don't see myself coming back often.

Great cakes! I recommend the mango mousse and chestnut ones. Nice balance of cream and flavors without being too sweet, and soft sponges (why I love Asian cakes). I've also stopped by for boba a couple times and the drinks have always been tasty. Friendly staff and quick service as well. The shop is in a shopping plaza so lots of parking in the front

Their pastries were a bit lacking in flavor and bounce. I was in the area for a work meeting and decided to give them a shot. Got a bunch of different types of pastries to try out. None really wowed me. But it is a nice and clean cafe spot!

I was really disappointed with my experience here. After spending over $30 on pastries, we simply asked for a glass of tap water and were told we'd have to pay for it. Charging customers for tap water after a sizable purchase feels incredibly stingy and unwelcoming. Good pastries don't make up for poor customer service and lack of basic courtesy. I won't be coming back, and I wouldn't recommend this place based on how they treat paying customers. Also there was no trash bin at all !!! I will not come back to store for sure

Buyer BEWARE!! This Issaquah location sold us an old, moldy fruit cake! One bite & had to spit it out. Something was very wrong, checked the fresh fruit on top & they were all moldy! Why Regent, why?????????

A small scaled Regent bakery which has no seating arrangements unlike the other locations. It offers coffee, tea along with the bakery items. Delicious cake as usual. Love the fruit cakes and chocolate cakes. Lots of parking so you can buy and eat in your car.

Was in the area, and decided to stop by when I realized there was a shop in the area. Been to other locations before, so I came here to grab a bubble tea. I got the Grapefruit Green Tea and my bf got the Lychee Green Tea. We didn't see any pastries we really wanted to try. I got my Grapefruit Green Tea with 25% sugar, but it tasted like it had no sugar. It tasted almost like plain unsweetened tea or water, and I probably wouldn't have mind it if the tapioca was good. The tapioca was too soft and mushy. My bf liked his lychee tea though, although I didn't see anything special about it.

YUCK!!! Wanted to check this location since we were in the area and it will be the LAST TIME!!!!! We bought 2 of bacon and egg bread for our son to have for the weekend. By the following day, when we were about to open the plastic packaging to heat and serve there were FRUIT FLIES flying inside the bag!!!! At least 2 flies on each bread! I have bought pastries before from other stores that serve this similar bread (T&T / PB) and never had an issue even when it was consumed a few days later. BUYER BEWARE!!! So gross!!!!!

Regent Bakery & Cafe in Issaquah, Washington, offers a clean and welcoming environment with convenient parking, even as the area sees more foot traffic from new businesses opening nearby. The staff has always been friendly, and there have been no negative interactions yet. so yay! Lol One thing to note is that prices here are on the higher side compared to other bakeries, which could be attributed to the cost of the location and overhead expenses. However, the quality of their cakes, particularly the fruit cakes and tiramisu, has been consistently impressive. Both have received positive feedback when shared with guests and family, which speaks to the overall quality of their baked goods. That said, my only major complaint is with the pork bun. While the bread itself is soft and flavorful, the filling leaves much to be desired. The portion of meat inside is quite minimal compared to the amount of bread, which feels like you're paying more for the dough than the filling. It's a bit disappointing, given the price point. Overall, Regent Bakery & Cafe is worth a visit for its quality cakes and pleasant atmosphere, but you may want to think twice about the pork bun if you're after something more filling.

I came to Regent on a whim as I had heard a new bakery had opened up on the Issaquah area. I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of baked goods. They have many different types of buns (sweet and savory), cakes, and cookies. I bought some egg tarts and thought that they were okay. However, I do plan on coming back to try a slice of their mango mousse cake and strawberry mousse cake, as well as many of their buns. It seems like quite a promising place!

I was a regular customer at the Bellevue location for years before I moved to Issaquah. When I found out a location was opening in my neighborhood, I was thrilled. Unfortunately, it didn't last. I got a full tiramisu cake last September that was not fresh and I thought it was a fluke. I went back a couple more times for cream puffs and individual slices of fruit cake and mango cake that were also okay but not quite as fresh as I'm accustomed to getting from Bellevue. This recent visit 2 days ago was my last. I got an individual slice of tiramisu cake and it was completely stale so I threw it away. If I'm paying almost $10 for a slice of cake, I expect it to be fresh. Sorry, Regent, you lost a loyal, long time customer.

Used to go to their original location for years. Super excited they opened a location in Issaquah as I work nearby. I was hoping they serve food like their other location in Redmond. Their Black Forest cake, Chestnut cake, Chocolate mousse cake are my all time favorites!! Love the new box design!

Whew!!! Thank goodness the bakery had different type of cakes. I had to get 2 birthday cakes and they had the mango cake and tiramisu!! Grabbed a cheese cake too.

Absolutely delightful! Regent Bakery and Cafe is a true local gem. Every item is clearly made with love--fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The pastries are perfectly balanced (not too sweet!), and their cakes are some of the best I've ever had--moist, rich, and not overpowering. I love there Blackforest cake ans hazelnut Truffle cake and Mango mousse cake. The staff is warm and welcoming, and the cozy atmosphere makes it a perfect spot to relax with a coffee or catch up with friends. You can tell this place has heart and history. Highly recommend!

Best cakes and buns in the town! My favorites are chocolate mousse, pineapple taro bun, and the coffee sponge cake they bake fresh daily.

I have been visiting Regent Bakery for many years already, realized they opened a new location, so I have to come check it out! I love that they have the pineapple bun and sausage bun, just like the bakeries back in Hong Kong. They have so many choices for birthday cakes, Mango Mousse, Swiss Chocolate cakes are always my favorite! If you live in the area, you have to go try their pastries!

Coffee mediocre. No cinnamon buns. Should offer smaller pastries. Could be more customer friendly.
