"Take your average Chicago block party and plop it on a rooftop deck, and you have Reggies in the South Loop. This casual bar and music venue (though right now they’re not hosting shows) has cold beer, burgers, and wings. And unlike your neighborhood block party, the rooftop has very little probability of screaming children. What it lacks in view (overlooking a deserted section of State Street and Cermak) it makes up for in a relaxed and fun atmosphere." - adrian kane, veda kilaru

"Despite its name, Reggies Rock Club in South Loop is not rock music exclusive. Sure, you can occasionally come here for a hair metal show at decibel levels that will make you wonder if your beer glass will explode. But this old-auto-repair-shop-turned venue also has everything from underground rap artists to expert-level banjo players. And if you need to grab a meal before the show, their restaurant next door, the Music Joint, has bar food like wings and burgers." - john ringor, nick allen

"Reggies is a bar and music venue with a great rooftop deck, and every time we’re here, it feels like a Chicago neighborhood block party—an experience we want you to have. This casual spot has cold beer, burgers and wings, daily live music, and games like bags (which is what we call cornhole in the Midwest). And unlike the hotel your company put you up in, the flat-screen TVs at Reggies will work." - adrian kane, veda kilaru

Not only did I have to wait an hour for my food I found a hair in my food! like this sucks cause I spent like $90 for the food. But the food that was able to be eating it was good. Unfortunately I didn’t get to eat mines!

The food was just okay. I got the hot link with fries and an order of potato salad. My guy got the fish and chicken combo. We love to support but I felt like I waisted my money😩 the wait time was so long it was crazy & the taste of the food didn’t match. A positive is they have great customer service! Give em a try and see what you think.

The workers were friendly. The wait time was long. The BBQ sauce was good. The meat was dry and didn't really have much flavor. I don't recommend.

I used to love Reggie's BBQ just for their catfish and they're okra I haven't been able to go for a while due to being ill and I come back they didn't got a whole new cut the fish don't taste as good as it used to and my okra does not look the same nor taste the same there is no salt whatsoever and it's kind of burnt I'm not happy about that however the catfish is still good

Call it in. That 1.75 online order convenience fee may have been worth it. Now, my frugal butt is sunburned, from waiting for my stuff. Catfish could use more corn meal, but it is still pretty good. Maybe that's the way they fry in Chi-town.

Food was better than most. Prices were fair, and Reggie was entertaining. I'd try them again the next time I'm in Phoenix.

Called to order food. Man was somewhat rude. Website doesn't allow you to pick your sides. So was told to come in and out wouldn't take long. Area not the best. Ordered rib tip plate with mac and cheese and fries. Was told I wouldn't get much fries due to container (weird). So ordered double mac with a sie of fries. Man kept suggesting the potato salad. Politely turned down. Kept being asked if I wanted potato salad (weird). Waited for food. Another guy stood over my shoulder (local suspicious person - weird). Thought he worked there until the Man behind the window told him to get lost several times. Food was ok. Mac and cheese was dry (prob reheated), bread was stale. Fries were good. Rib tips werent the best. Not tender lathered in sauce, not seasonings. Not worth $32....

On last Saturday, my granddaughter and I had driven all the way from Tucson because we wanted some more of Reggie’s barbecue. I had to be in Phoenix on Sunday for a service; however, we drove down on Saturday just to get the barbecue and then we would spend the night for the church service on the next day. Someone else had told us how good it was and so we had gotten some the last time we were in Phoenix. They were closing when we got there and had turned off the fryers; however, they reopened, took our order and served us. I think that was so wonderful, and we truly enjoyed the food.

Yelp
Finally made it to Reggie's BBQ and they did NOT disappoint!!! EVERYTHING was incredible, including the service!!! Definitely worth every penny!! #ribtips #chickenwings #hotlinks #catfish #bbqSOAKEDfries #Ialmostpassedoutwithjoy

Yelp
I give the negative starts. The time wait is stupid. Waited just about 1 hour for my damn meal. Never again will I order food from here. Customer service sucks as well

Yelp
Went to Reggie's straight off a plane from OKC, where I was on business. I was in the mood for some soul food and happened to find this place on Yelp. Outside of the area and the visuals of the location, the food was great! I got the catfish plate & 1/2 slab of ribs. Both came fresh out the grease and off the grill and came with fries & bread - just how it should be! Price was decent as they are a small business. Well worth the trip and I will be back to get more soon!

Yelp
The wait times was insane! Several items on the menu were not available until later in the day. I was told about dinners but was charged for my meal ala cart.

Yelp
i ate here soooo many times. foods always on point. always has enough sauce and seasoning. food gets out to you quick. everyone there is super nice and nothing but smiles. good vibes AND great food. always will go back. ps didn't get pictures because it's always gone in 2.5 seconds. i recommend for sure.!!

Yelp
This is not perch that I bought. I'm from the south and this fish is whiting not perch. A rip off !! Rib tips were just ok.

Yelp
Love love love the pull chicken fries and the stuffed baked potato. Great atmosphere and location.

Yelp
i was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, to say this is chicago style ...is very misleading, the barbeque is suppose to be tender , and fall off the bone, ,there was hardly any sauce on the meat and the meat tasted tough, and some small bits hard and crunchy, whoever is cooking the food ,should be fired! iam pissed i wasted my hard earned money,!!!

Yelp
Excellent food. It is pure deliciousness! Reminds me of my hometown Chicago. I highly recommend Reggie's!

Yelp
The rib tips were phenomenal and the hot links were good. Make sure if you can to call your order ahead so you don't have to wait for the cook time.

Vickey S.

Yelp
I had hopes for this one, but it was not good. We ordered rib tips, hot links, a shrimp basket, potato salad, Mac salad, jerk chicken (they only do it on the weekends, the menu doesn't say that) and wings. The wings had a good fry on them but they weren't seasoned well at all. We never got any rib tips. The ribs were cooked well but we didn't like the sauce. The shrimp was fried well too but not seasoned. The hot link had a strange aftertaste and was over cooked like jerky. We spent $137.00. It's a "no" from me...

Yelp
Went here because we had heard nothing but good reviews. Was told that our order was going to be 20 minutes. At the hour mark, we were told 5 more minutes for the fries. Have multiple people walking in and out that aren't cooking food or working. A complete waste of time. Total wait time of an hour and ten minutes. Had multiple people leaving because of the wait in Arizona's 100 degree weather. Was told wait time was 20mins do to wings, the three people ahead me; 1 uber eats driver that waited an hour and finally left, canceled his trip, then another Uber eats driver came to get it and a guy on a bike, stop it! The moral of the story as a business owner/operator. is if it's not going to be 20 minutes don't say that, if you are short staffed say that, if orders over 3 items have to be pre-ordered say that don't just BS customers because it's Sunday ‍
