Highlights

This long-standing pizzeria at Cummings Center serves classic, brick-oven pizza in a casual setting, where consistency is king—some days it's a slice of heaven, other days, just slightly burnt.

Update, time line of these goes from bottom to top: They have become much more consistent. If this changes, I will be sure to report. Update: 11/15/2024 STOP BURNING THE BOTTOM OF THE PIZZA!!! This is happening far too often. I work long hours and sometimes can't stop to eat so when the pizza gets here and its not edible, its a more serious problem than just being hungry for a little longer. PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!! Update: this upgraded rating from 2 to five stars is for whoever is making the pizza there on Friday. Another beauty! Picture map: Pic 1: under cooked Pic 2 and 3: burnt Pic: 4: Friday perfect Pic 5 and 6: Friday perfect Update a day later: got the pizza you are hoping to get from here Update: serious consistency issue. This time it was borderline burnt. Last time it was great. Sometimes it’s undercooked. I hope a kitchen manager sees this and cares. Guess I’ll finish cooking this? Shameful, you should be embarrassed having your name on the box this pizza came in.

Tried pepperoni and cheese slices and they are absolutely delicious!! This pizza is very tasty and for once it one of my favorites I’ll have to try it again. Keep up the good work. I also had the buffalo chicken pizza

Google
Very disappointed, we ordered I large chicken pepper onion. The pizza way barley cooked and as I was walking out the kid handed me 4 dollars and told me they forgot peppers. The onions were completely raw and there wasn't much chicken at all not to mention the few pieces of chicken that were on it were massive and not cut up at all. On top of that the pizza was 33$ and not worth the price remotely.

A family staple for 15 years; consistent, and Bowie style for metro Boston pizza. Not fancy boutique pizza, not your regular old ‘Roast Beef & Pizza’ kind of place either. The crust is consistently satisfying - thick at the edges, but not too thick. The sauce is delicious, and the toppings we get (pepperoni and the occasional green peppers & sausage) are always great. We’ve picked up pies on the way home at Polcari’s, and we used to go to the Liberty Tree mall one until it (like most of the mall) closed up, and now am happy to be able to zip over to Beverly at the locations in the Cumming’s Center. Basically a win all around! The Beverly location is more of an in and out lunch shop, so not much ‘atmosphere’ - but the pizza is the spot on and the staff friendly.

I arrived to pick up my order and upon asking about missing chicken tenders, which are offered on the online ordering platform, I was told that they do not have those and never have. This also was the so called Margherita pizza is what the attached photo is. Burnt basil that is underneath the cheese for some reason, overly salty and just gross. Definitely spend your money elsewhere.

Google
The pizza is ok (not great though) but the rest of the food is downright terrible. The grilled chicken Caesar salad was sent with canned chicken. The buffalo chicken wrap was completely dry and had no flavor. I will not be ordering from here again.

Google
Rude staff, long wait times for take out and DoorDash. Twice now they have just decided to cancel the order all together after 30+ min because they wanted to close early. What a joke. Hope they all get diarrhea

Yelp
Love the pizza. Really cool bar area. Service is always good and it's a throw back Italian atmosphere.

Yelp
Place is a horrible. Just read the other reviews, no one is lying. Literally go anywhere else

McLane B.

Yelp
Convenient location nearby the office; pizza was pretty standard. Would come back if craving pizza, but likely less of a regular spot.

Yelp
Ok not sure what I was thinking since we usually get Otto pizza from this area on the north shore but being a lifelong fan of Regina pizza in Bostons north end thought we'd give it a whirl,Mistake! Nothing even close in terms of quality and taste. the place needs a good cleaning and someone from corporate should mind the kids, added a salad to go with my pizzas and received what looked like week old brown lettuce under a slew of lame veggies and chickpeas, never again, gotta go !Otto is calling my name.

Yelp
I've ordered pizza several times and found it to be great or mediocre. Tonight however, they did not even remember to put sauce on the pizza, yes they have several choices and I chose the original sauce. I received a very doughy pizza with pepperoni and cheese. Can be great but a complete crapshoot!!

Yelp
Now I am what one might call, a pizza connoisseur. Pizza is arguably one of the best inventions of all time. Why are there "pizza parties" and not spaghetti or sushi parties? Because it's simply superior. This Regina's is pretty good. I didn't have high expectations because as we all know, the original in the North End is the best. All the other franchises seem to fall significantly shorter than the bar that has been set, and can be related to a Sbarros or Papa Gino's. Maybe it's because this is a newer establishment but I thought the pizza here was fresh and perfect amount of dough. It could have a little more sauce on it, but it was drenched in cheese. It's one of the better options in the Cummings Center but that's not saying much. The staff were helpful but had to be alerted that someone was at the counter after a few minutes. They're good enough, but not my first choice by far.

Robin E.

Yelp
Regina's is amazing, but this location started out great and has really taken a nose dive. First of all, we all know what the pizza should look and taste like. They put SO MUCH cheese on the pizza here, it's absolutely disgusting. We gave up and stopped ordering from here, but then thought we'd give them one more chance, but specifically asked them for light cheese. There was so much cheese on the pizza, it was like an inch thick- inedible?!? Until they get retrained on how to make Regina Pizza, I'm not making this mistake again!

David L.

Yelp
UPDATE: I was never refunded, either. They stole from me. If you order from here beware: you may just be donating to some corporate schmucks.

Vanessa C.

Yelp
The pizza was fabulous! Very quick which service and good tasting which is right up my alley. Not good ambiance more just like to-go place

Savannah B.

Yelp
I don't really get why most of the reviews are so negative. I love this place. They have great pizza and they even delivered it to my aunt who was in the accessible parking spot.

Maya M.

Yelp
The pizza arrived cold, soggy, and undercooked. We ordered a pepperoni pizza but half the pizza was covered in 4 layers of roni and the other half was undercooked greasy cheese. The dough was also so undercooked we had to throw it back in the oven because it was elasticy. After 15 minutes in the oven the pizza was still not cooked and we gave up Would not recommend this overpriced raw dough

Joe C.

Yelp
How can such a high quality chain produce such awful pizza outside of the original location. This is, without a doubt, Some of the worst pizza on the north shore and there are some lousy places around here. The dough was so thick and tough to chew. The tomato sauce was like tomato paste with some water and the cheese was average. I hope more people stay away and this place goes bye bye. I love the North End location but this is beyond bad. Awful vibe in that location too.

Yelp
My wife was away and my son was at work. My daughter was coming home from Manchester so after some debate, we decided to give Regina a whirl since it was on her way home. It has been a long time since I ate a Regina pizza. I want to say it was either at Faneuil Hall or maybe the Burlington mall?? Any way, I did enjoy the pizza at Faneuil Hall and it has such a good reputation that we decided to give it a shot. I was disappointed. We ordered a cheese with extra cheese pizza mostly because I thought the prices were a bit high for pizza as a whole. They did pile on the cheese which was good. Sometimes the extra cost is worth the product but in this case, it was not. It was basically unremarkable and for the price, not worth it in my opinion. If it was priced more like the other pizza places in Beverly, and there are a few, then maybe but there are a lot of good places to choose from and Regina would be low on my list.

Yelp
Turns away business for no reason. Can't handle making a basic cheese pizza. Pretty pathetic customer service to me. Just have to go to a batter place, which there are many.

Amalia C.

Yelp
The last two times I went and ordered a Caesar salad from here they have given me lettuce and cheese. with no dressing. young kids in there don't have good attitudes and clearly don't care what they're serving. too bad as Regina is one of my favorite places to go OUTSIDE of this location

Pajeet P.

Yelp
I've ordered from here before and the pizza was okay. Not where near as good as other NY Style mom and pop shops and the price is ridiculous. The pizza I received from them yesterday was awful. Luckily I was able to get a full refund through grub hub. IT was loaded crust bubbles, barely any cheese and the dough was tough. I don't know if they pulled one out of the trash from the night before and sent it to me but that is how it seemed.

JasparLamar C.

Yelp
Blech. How is it that one of the best pizza makers in Boston can manage to open a location with absolutely awful pizza? Thin, messy crust, inconsistently cooked pizza are shocking from this Boston stalwart. Parts of one recent pizza were burnt while others were nearly raw. Depressing.

K H.

Yelp
Pizza was delicious but a large two topping pizza for $28?! That seems kinda high. I was surprised that 1 topping is not including with a pizza. I was also surprised that toppings were $4.50 each. I did not look at that when I bought it so just beware. Also, they really need to bring the sauce and cheese close to the edge. There's way too much crust.

Joshua M.

Yelp
Awesome pizza! The only thing keeping this from being a 5 star review is the service. Other than that, I can handle not great customer service for great pizza.

Robert B.

Yelp
It's was great pizza but the kid gnawing on his fingers led me to this 3 star. He was quite literally eating his fingernail and spitting them on the floor while he was serving people

Jane K.

Yelp
Ordered two small pizzas one pizza completely wrong ordered veggie mushroom onions peppers got sausage pepperoni salami horrible customer service when I went to pick up ordered small salad didn't come with order asked twice for it then was told just go grab one - 50 dollars later for 2 10" pizzas made wrong no service- next time I'll go to my usual local Regina pizza you can do much better!!!

Carol M.

Yelp
Without a doubt the worst pizza we ever had. Crust was hard as a rock. Even the cheese was dry. We threw it out. What a wast of $20.

Timothy R.

Yelp
Just had 4 slices at reginas in the cummings center and my coworker noticed I was eating moldy parmesan, the manager told us to just call the number on the receipt, did not say sorry or refund us. All that was said by the manager "we changed them last week" smh

Peg O.

Yelp
Second time in recent months that the WRONG pizza was made. There is a big difference between "Pomodoro" and "Formaggio". Order both times was very specific, Formaggio, NO TOMATO. If the staff taking phone orders does not understand the menu, they shouldn't be answering the phone. Don't think we will go for a third chance. Back to Saugus.

Joli S.

Yelp
Worst overly price pizza I ever had. Crust was hard and burnt. i ordered the veggie for $25.99 and totally waste of money. No flavor and had more onions then anything else on it. The crust was so burnt I had to scrap the top and eat it with out crust since I was hungry. Will not order from them again. Please don't waste your money unless you like burnt and hard crust with no flavor!

David T.

Yelp
I love Regina's cheese pizza, I haven't tried anything else. Probably my favorite pizza crust, the sauce is really delicious, and they put a lot of cheese! Some may not like that but I do!

Alex R.

Yelp
Best pizza in the country. Order takeout for the best experience. Always fresh. Best cheese flavor and perfect crust.
