"This restaurant channels Greek and Mediterranean hits and has generous pours of house wines in carafes that make you feel like you took a quick vacation to Paros or Milos. Family-style service plus Greek salads and gyros make this a great option for a weekday lunch or weekend brunch too." - Tim Ebner

We read some great reviews and decided to give Regina’s a try. It’s a great neighborhood spot, we definitely noticed a few tables of regulars warmly greeted and engaged with the staff. Always nice to see, and as new comers our welcome and quality of service was equally as pleasant and welcoming. Katherine was a fantastic server, friendly, attentive, good knowledge of the menu and specials and very efficient as she was the only server at lunch time. The food was pretty good. There are some things they do perfectly and others that lack a wow factor. We got the Mediterranean sampler appetizer: some good flavors a little underwhelming. We are used to this type of sampler platter to at least have stuffed grape leaves or falafel. For entrees we got the dinner steak special with mashed potatoes, lasagna and chicken souvlaki platter. The souvlaki platter was great, well seasoned chicken skewers, smaller chunks than I’m used to but still very flavorful and the balance of fries and salad was perfect. The steak was superbly seasoned and cooked to perfection! Truly delicious. The mashed potatoes need some work, very bland. The lasagna was delicious, a great portion size and great seasoning. We also enjoyed a really well made pina colada and some of the best tiramisu I’ve ever had!! Atmosphere and ambience are quietly elegant and from the dining room to the restrooms they are clean and spotless!! Looking forward to going back and trying other things! PS. Had to try the falafel after all the Google review hype…conclusion: the falafel is worth the hype. Crunchy outside, soft and fluffy inside, great parsley flavor and that little spicy kick that sets theirs apart from the rest. Thank you Katherine for such fabulous service, we will be back!!

Oh my gosh, let me just say that I love how Regina’s Restaurant goes above and beyond with making their food. For one, their falafels are crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and have a nice spicy to them compared to other falafels that I’ve eaten in the past. Two, their bread is served with both olive oil and Parmesan cheese, which makes for a nice and tasty pre-appetizer dish. Three, their spanakopita is served in the style of calzones, which gives this classic Greek dish a unique touch. Plus, the inside consists of more than spinach and feta cheese, which I like about it. Because I gave my boyfriend the other one, I only have a picture of one spanakopita. It is worth getting, by the way. Oh, I just remembered how crispy and soft the outside was. Finally, their tiramisu cake is soft and fluffy and has a nice balance of coffee and chocolate on it. So yeah, if you’re looking for a nice family-owned Mediterranean restaurant here in the DMV, please give Regina’s Restaurant a try. I’m so thankful to my boyfriend, Andy, for taking me here.

This place made me had to come back and tried more food very soon after my first time visit. Regina is a Mediterranean and Italian style restaurant. Their food was amazing as well as service and dining room. I was a little surprised because if you look from outside, the restaurant is quite small and old building, but when you get inside, they have a nice decoration, spacious and good vibe. Also, they have a counter drink bar. As for the menu might not be various as same as other authentic Italian restaurants but I think their food has a good quality and intense taste. Another good thing is there are some free parking lots in front of the restaurant, not many but enough for guests. Whoever wants to try some Italian or Mediterranean food and not sure where to start, yet. Or if you are looking for a restaurant where is peaceful and romantic atmosphere, I recommend Regina's Restaurant, you won't be disappointed!

Food excellent. Served really hot and fresh. Delicious flavors. Service outstanding. Servers attentive and there when you want them. Great restaurant. Can’t say enough for the quality and service.

Regina's Restaurant is an absolute gem! From the delicious food to the outstanding customer service and the inviting atmosphere, every aspect of our visit was truly amazing. The menu offered a fantastic variety, and every dish we tried was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The staff were warm, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was perfect from start to finish. The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and welcoming, creating the ideal setting for a memorable meal. I can’t recommend Regina’s enough—whether it’s for a special occasion or just a great meal out, this restaurant will exceed your expectations. We’ll definitely be coming back soon!

We had no idea this gem existed in Wheaton. A must try for anyone looking for quality food and excellent service. My wife loved her steak and my stuffed shrimp with pasta was awesome. Sorry the photos show half eaten food. It looked so good that I forgot to take pictures before we started eating!

Google
Great food, and good portions. Primarily a mix of Italian and Greek offerings. Not a lot of beef on the menu but plenty of chicken, lamb, veal, and seafood offerings. Portions are decent for the prices. Good service. The guy who I presume is the owner was pretty chatty, but friendly. Overall great value for the quality, but expect $30-50 per person for dinner depending on how many drinks, appetizers, and desserts you order. Definitely would eat here again.

Google
A really nice little restaurant in Silver Springs! Very nice interior design, a good spread of Mediterranean food options (from Turkish to Italian), and Greek music also added to the atmosphere. I liked it there!

Yelp
Ordered the shrimp and scallop pasta and though the scallops were great, the shrimp had a bit of frostbite taste to them and I found plastic in my meal. Surely an accident, but if it's fresh, how did plastic get in it?

Joey S.

Yelp
Great local place, lots of options, Italian dishes, pastas, Mediterranean. The restaurant is clean and everyone was friendly. Great prices and great tasting food. Parking is convenient. Really great place to go for some good easy foods. Tried the ravioli special which was delicious. Overall, pleased with everything. Only thing would be if they could dim the lights a little bit to make it not so bright and more, atmospheric. But that is the only feedback.

Mara D.

Yelp
Hidden Gem in Wheaton. Went with a few friends after an event we attended. Sitting was quick and staff were friendly. I ordered a French Onion Soup and Spanakopita. The was delicious and flavorful. The spanakopita was ok - no flavor.

Yelp
Regina's was surprisingly good. A definite throwback and while I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here, I really liked what we had. We shared zucchini fritters and the chicken souvlaki platter. Fritters were freshly battered. I think they need more seasoning though. I really enjoyed the chicken, which was flavorful. Salad was good and the fries were golden and crisp. Service was friendly. We were the only ones in the place for most of our Saturday lunch, but others were visiting as we were getting ready to leave. If you are nearby, it's not a bad stop.

Yelp
We enjoyed our meal at Regina's. Service was great, our food was tasty, and it looked like the restaurant varies their specials. I would definitely return.

Yelp
Overall, I thought the food at Regina's was pretty good. I went with a gyro platter, and boy did it come with a lot of food. I do not think that I've ever had so much meat in a gyro platter before. In addition, to the meat, the platter came with a small salad and a side of rice (or french fries). So, it definitely was a pretty good deal for $15. While I had a decent meal, I have to admit that I did feel somewhat uncomfortable when I first arrived. Ok, I arrived in my workout clothes (and was a little sweaty) so maybe I was dressed a bit too causal for the place. However, I arrived about an hour before closing and there were only about 7 folks (between three tables) in the place. The man that greeted me at the front of the restaurant kind of gave me a look like I wasn't supposed to be there. Or rather, he seemed confused with my presence. After I was seated, I definitely noticed the man staring at me from the bar a few times. Do not get me wrong, he was not mean or rude (and maybe I'm making a small mountain out of a molehill), but something about this experience just didn't sit right with me. Weirdness aside, I thought the two waitresses that served me were very friendly.

Jim J.

Yelp
We frequented this restaurant quite often and one of the wait staff knew what we like to eat and drink. We were away for a few months and returned to the restaurant with friends. Sadly, it is not what it used to be. The wait staff is all new, the chef was not there (he always came out to look at the diners) and the food was rather poorly prepared. We ordered three trout diners but each with slightly different sides and cooking times. Unfortunately, all three were identical. I don't know whether the fault was with the waitress or the kitchen. Once the food was served, the waitress disappeared . No water refills or inquiries about the food. The trout was dry and tasteless and the sauce did not complement the fish.. an order of spanakopita was also overcooked and dry. The best part of the meal was the bottle of Chianti. Regina was a bright star in Wheaton where good restaurants are rare.

Yelp
Regina's is doing something right. On a Saturday evening at 7pm, the place was booming. Energy was high and wine glasses were filled at each table. The parking lot in the front was a little chaotic, but there's also additional parking in the back. We were in search of a Bouillabaisse (fisherman's soup aka cioppino) and I found Regina's on Yelp. As other Yelpers have mentioned, Regina's markets itself as a Mediterranean place, which boils down to Greek and Italian dishes when you look at the menu. I made a reservation online with the Google Assistant and Regina's was ready to seat us when we arrived. We weren't sure if the reservation was necessary, but I decided to make one for our group just in case. When we arrived at 6pm, most of the tables were still available, but the place filled up by 7pm. All of the waiters were still following COVID protocols and were wearing face masks. A bottle of hand-sanitizer was also set out for customers. Warm bread and butter were brought to the table and were generously refilled throughout the night. We started with the fried calamari ($12.95) and stuffed mushrooms ($10.95) as appetizers. Maybe it's just the way the dishes were plated, but I did find the portions to be small for the price. When the fried calamari was brought out, it definitely looked like they had slid around on the plate a bit. The calamari was light and crisp but could've been more tender. They also served the rings only (no legs). The stuffed mushrooms came with four pieces and took on a spanakopita profile featuring mainly spinach and feta in the stuffing. The accompanying lemon sauce is great for dipping the bread into. In addition to the regular menu items, they also had a separate dinner specials menu. I ordered off the specials menu and went with the porcini mushroom ravioli ($20.95), which came with five sunflower-shaped raviolis with a porcini and ricotta filling in a brown Marsala sauce. I really liked my dish. The serving size was just the right amount after having the bread and additional appetizers. The raviolis were cooked to the desired al dente and the filling was the perfect creamy consistency - I would order this dish again. My table also ordered the bouillabaisse ($32), eggplant Parmesan ($18.95), chicken Marsala ($20.95), and penne arabiatta ($16.95). Everyone enjoyed their dishes and the bouillabaisse was noticeably plentiful with its seafood variety - mussels, clams, scallops, shrimp, calamari, and fish were all present in the dish. There did seem to be a learning curve with our waiter. We would ask him questions and he would respond with "I have to check" or "Let me ask." He also didn't seem very familiar with the menu when we ordered and needed visual cues, which led to some hiccups with service. But overall, he was kind and attentive throughout the evening. Our water cups were regularly topped-off and he came to check on how things were doing multiple times. We were celebrating a birthday that night and the staff was kind to bring out a sparkler and sing happy birthday with our dessert. They also honored a military discount (10% off) with proof of ID. Thanks to Regina's and their staff for a wonderful dinner.

Yelp
Don't miss this unassuming strip mall gem! We really enjoyed our Wednesday afternoon lunch at Regina's. The open and airy decor invites you inside. Although on this day, they seemed to be having some AC problems, mobile AC units kept the room comfortable. I enjoyed the falafel platter. The falafel were deliciously crisp outside and light and fluffy inside. Flavorful and nicely spiced. A side salad could have used a bit of dressing, but the tahini sauce took care of that. Crispy fries, pita, and tzatziki rounded out the plate. My partner got the mussels. She reports they were wonderful. She wanted to drink the broth like a cup of soup! You will also like to know that parking for a noon lunch date was super easy. There is free parking available right at this low traffic strip mall and metered parking less than a block away.

Pat B.

Yelp
The service was great and the food was delicious. Nice vibe too! It's a nice airy space with Mediterranean decorations. Room for lots of people, but not crowded at all.

Yelp
Delicious platters and mushroom appetizer. Nice ambiance snd service too. Free Parking available outside restaurant.

Yelp
The bottom line is that the Mediterranean comes into contact with a lot of countries. Regina's tries to cover a lot of bases. It's kinda Italian, kinda French, kinda Greek. Chances are if the family goes here, everyone is going to find SOMETHING on the menu that'll make them happy. Is the food mind-blowing? No. Is it pretty good...better than average? Yes. We did eggplant, stuffed shrimp, and spaghetti Bolognese. The last one was close to excellent. The shrimp had random pieces of shell (more than usual) in the crab filling and the yellow sauce on top was a little odd. The eggplant was tender and over all pretty good. We like this place - the service is good and the staff are pleasant. We'll come back because, as I said earlier, there's always something on the menu that'll make everyone happy.

Steve Y.

Yelp
Nice warm greeting. Basket of bread and butter delivered to our table. The Gyro Platter was fantastic with beef and lamb slices. The signature dish, Gambeei do Regina's was amazing with four large broiled shrimp as a base for crab meat topped with lobster sauce. Linguini was the starch for this dish. The Proseca Brut went well with our meal. We finished it all off with a moist tiaramisu and coffee. The music from the 6os (RatPack) was a nice touch!

Brian L.

Yelp
This nice little restaurant is hidden away in a strip mall. The outside may seem unassuming, but the inside of the restaurant is a very nice and cozy environment. The waiters we had were very nice and were able to make specific modifications to our food, and even allowed us to order items not on the menu. We got the clam linguini and the veggie pasta primavera (not on the menu). The clam linguini was a very nice combination. The clam and garlicy sauce in the linguini paired very well together and meshed to create a cohesive flavor. The veggie pasta primavera was both hearty and light at the same time. The sauce was nutty and had an earthy undertone. I feel like the clam and linguini relied heavily on the clams for the dish, while the veggie pasta primavera was enjoyable with every bite. Really cool spot, give it a try if you're looking for something new in the area.

Yelp
A good neighborhood sit-down restaurant for when you want a step up from casual. There are many casual restaurants in this area, so Regina's is an ideal place for a date night or somewhere to take your parents. The menu is Italian/Mediterranean and feels more traditional than trendy. I was surprised by the décor when I stepped inside, it was nicer than I would've expected from the outside. Parking is in a lot in front of the strip mall. I haven't needed reservations when I came here twice with my husband. There are many tables. The portions are large. The servers were attentive, so we did not feel forgotten. The food is easy to please, but not extraordinary, so it wouldn't necessarily be a place you drive out of your way for. We are locals and are glad to have this place as an option!

Christopher L.

Yelp
I often preface restaurant reviews by noting I'm not a foodie. I just don't care to eat out often for a variety of reasons. That said, I am a chicken parmesan snob and an Italian food in general snob. I've long lamented that not one Italian restaurant in all of Silver Spring serves a top-notch chicken parmesan dish. My wife and I haven't found any Italian restaurant in Silver Spring that is worth visiting a second time to eat anything it offers ... Until now. I have to share the good news when I find a place I love. I live in Wheaton but only recently discovered Regina's while looking for a place to take visiting family. I can't believe what I've been looking for all these years is in my own back yard. We ordered just about everything on the menu on our big family visit and everyone loved everything placed in front of us -- including the most picky eater, me. The service was outstanding, too. The perfect balance of quietly keeping an eye on us without being intrusive, and making sure we had everything we needed. Local restaurants face endless challenges. If you want the best Italian and Mediterranean food not only in Silver Spring but likely all of Montgomery County, Regina's is the place to go. My wife and I have been back several times already. It's our new favorite spot. Supporting a locally-owned restaurant makes every entree taste even better!

Yelp
My daughter and I brought my Mom here for Mother's Day a couple of days ago. I really wanted my mom to try this place. My daughter and I come here often because they've consistently delivered amazing delicious dish. Upon entering, the restaurant was pretty packed. It was Mother's Day, after all; however, we were seated right away, no wait time whatsoever. We were promptly seated by the host, and our waiter immediately introduced himself and asked what we would like to start with. I love their Horiatiki Salad (Greek salad) and noticed it wasn't in their specialized menu for Mother's Day. I decided to ask anyway, and he accommodated us. I ordered a large plate to be shared by us 3 (the portion was humongous), and we had to take some home. I love the dill vinaigrette that they use to mix the veggies. Speaking of veggies, I love how fresh the vegetables were. Each vegetable remained crispy and sweet. I love the bite of the red onion and the tangyness of the fresh feta. We all had our own individual dishes. I've opted for the lambchops, and I must say, the best decision I've made that day. Lambchops were grilled to perfection. It had a nice char on the outside, slight smoky flavor from the grill. As you bite into the chops, the meat is so tender and juicy. It had that distinct lamb taste that I enjoy without it being gamey. I dipped it into their mint jelly, and it took it to the next level. I love the combination of sweet and savory. Lamb chops and mint jelly are best friends. Let's not forget the potato wedges, delicious! It was Greek potatoes, so it was tangy and seasoned perfectly. It was crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside. I, unfortunately, did not try the other dishes. No one wanted to share theirs, I don't blame them. We did share the desserts, and both were phenomenal. I particularly enjoyed the tiramisu. Love that I can still taste the slight coffee taste and the ricotta cream added sweetness and creaminess to the cake. The lava cake was ridiculous in a good way. The cake walls warm, chocolatey, and the gooey fudge that ooze out as you cut in the middle was still hot (I saw smoke), but the vanilla ice cream counter balance the warm brownie. It complimented each other, and every bite was heavenly. Couldn't recommend this place enough! From the service, ambiance, and the food 5/5. Come here, and trust me, you wouldn't regret it!

Shaz A.

Yelp
Nice quaint restaurant very unassuming but a pleasant surprise when you walk in. Nice date night restaurant. Service was great and food was pretty good.

Nikki G.

Yelp
Food was excellent. Very fresh. Lettuce was crisp and not wilted. Balsamic glaze was delicious on the thinly slice, lightly sautéed chicken. My husband ordered the lasagna. He liked it. It has a slightly distinct anise or licorice flavor to the red sauce. Restaurant was clean and staff friendly. I would have given a five but servers never refilled water or came by to ask if we needed anything. We also ordered humus and pita bread and that was excellent as well. The humus tasted like it had been prepared at the restaurant, a little grittier than store bought. I like that texture.

Yelp
I'm hesitant to write this review because so many Wheaton residents rave about Regina's. My family has given this place a shot multiple times, wondering what we're missing (although admittedly, we've only tried the Italian menu items). To their credit, the staff are great - very friendly and welcoming. But a lot of the dishes are just very mediocre. Here are a few we've tried: Mussels with zesty tomato sauce: We actually ordered these twice in the same week. They were fantastic the first time! Thick and flavorful sauce that I wanted to slurp. The second time, it was completely different. The sauce was thin and bland, and the mussels did not absorb the flavors at all. Calamari: Not bad but pretty average Melizzana (eggplant dish): Tastes fresh but is extremely bland. Needs salt at the very least Tortellini du chef: Not my cup of tea. The sauce is very heavy and just didn't taste good Chicken parmigiana: This one, I'll say, was outstanding! Pasta with shrimp and scallops: Cooked very well, and the sauce was good The linguini side for many of the dishes: Bland, bland, bland. Barely any sauce I really want this place to succeed, and they do appear to have a following! I'll be back when I have a hankering for chicken parmigiana, and I'll possibly try the Greek dishes at some point.

Yelp
We discovered Regina's a few weeks after they opened and have dined here at least once a month since. Always start off with their spinach-stuffed mushrooms - fan-tastic! We've tried a number of different items as the main course - all cooked superbly! on this visit I had a personal favorite, the Salmon which comes with spinach & potatoes. My Girlfriend ordered Ribeye from the specials menu. As always, we were blown away! Finished off with a lite dessert of Limoncello cake - a great end to a great meal! Regina's has a nice relaxed atmosphere, the staff is super friendly, helpful & attentive, and did I mention the food is AWEsome! This is one of the best restaurants in the area...highly recommended!

Yelp
We were looking for a nearby restaurant on Yelp and found the 5* rating for Regina's Restaurant. That aroused my curiosity and decided to give it a try. It was just opened up when we got there. Standard medium range decor with mirrored walls, mock Tiffany lighting, plants and the occasional painting. The atmosphere was pleasant and quiet, the service was attentive and efficient, the prices were reasonable and the food was very good. We ordered only two dishes and it was too limited a sampling to offer an overall rating. We did enjoy our food and will definitely come back to try more dishes. We ordered: 4*Melizzana (baked stuffed eggplant) included slices of eggplant, baked in tomato sauce, spinach, tirofeta parmesan, graviera cheeses, and linguini: tasted fresh, light and not salty. 4* Chicken Parmesan-- Chicken cutlet baked in a tomato sauce with parmesan, mozzarella cheese and linguini. It was tasty and good, better than some we have had at more expensive restaurants.

Yelp
Ok... first thing to get out of the way. Regina's Restaurant describes itself as a Mediterranean Restaurant. And yes, I am aware Greece is in the Mediterranean... but I would call it a Greek Restaurant. It serves a majority of Greek cuisine with some Italian peppered in... which is also usually served at Greek restaurants. But you are not gonna find falafel there, or various types of kabobs (though you will find Souvlaki ((aka Greek kabobs)). You will also find horiatiki salad (wish I knew how to pronounce this lol). You'll find spanakopita, saganaki, melizzana as well as a host of other Italian dishes including chicken marsala, linguini and clams, spaghetti bolognese and many more. We started off with the Mediterranean sampler which had tzatziki, hummus, and baba ghanoush on it. Each of the dips was delicious with special mentions going to the baba ghanoush and tzatziki. The thin log of feta on this platter made us just want to order things that had more feta. And why not. Upon Joy B and Emma W's recommendations we got the Horiatiki salad. It was as described by my mother: a very generous portion. Honestly... could have just eaten that and some chicken for my meal. But I wanted to try more things. My friends ordered the souvlaki and special-ed mozzarella en corozza; which is basically a large deep fried mozzarella sandwich. I ordered the salmon... ya know... real departure from what I usually eat ;) and a side of the greek string beans. The salmon was cooked near to perfection. The spinach that topped it and the lemon garlic sauce it was bathing in was perfection. The potatoes however that were served with the salmon (which... I was pretty excited about) tasted a day old. They were an unfortunate departure from an otherwise outstanding meal. I got to taste the mozzarella en corozza which was lacking a bit of depth to be brutally honest. The string beans were quite good, and I appreciated the deft low-sodium hand that they were seasoned with, though I have a feeling that other diners might miss this if they got these. Salt and pepper shakers can be found at each of the tables, so if you felt something lacking salt - a quick fix is within reach most literally. I also forgot to mention that one of my fellow diners got the french onion soup which also was lightly salted which I appreciated but he did not. Service was fairly attentive if a bit sparse at some points. The bill landing on the table and the retrieval of said bill with credit cards was slower than would make for a seamless experience. All in all, I'd highly recommend going to Reginas. The minor missteps in no way made the meal unenjoyable by any means. And the Horiatiki salad was so good, the vegetables so fresh, the feta so creamy, and dressing so well balanced that I'd find myself making it back for just that salad; healthy, delicious, and large. Regina's is a bit on the pricey end compared to the restaurants that surround it, that said, the quality of ingredients and freshness warrant higher prices and the menu is priced on par with any of the surrounding areas. Looking forward to making it back soon!

Yelp
Regina's restaurant is a Greek Italian blend restaurant located off of Georgia Avenue in Silver Spring. Located inside a strip mall and decorated with pictures of Greece. The service was prompt and old-fashioned meaning they box your leftovers. I had the salmon Mediterranean served with spinach and roasted potatoes. Everything was delicious and garlicky. The prices are reasonable and a good value. One of my friends left her purse at the table and the manager ran outside to catch us before we left. I highly recommend this place!

Tracey C.

Yelp
Have been to Regina's 3x. My most recent trip was with a friend who had never been. Had the eggplant dish that was good and she had chicken Marsala. I ordered a side of steamed veggies that was a whopping $8 for 3 small broccoli tops, 3 zucchini slices, 3 carrot chunks and 2 small cauliflower florets. Not even enough to share. Thought that was costly.

Denise C.

Yelp
Hidden gem in Wheaton! Good menu, delicious food and generous enough portions. Nice staff too!

Yelp
We had a great lunch, mediterranean salad with grilled chicken was wonderful, dad had a gyro which was huge and delicious. Service was quick and cordial, lovely place. Ambiance was more old school, charming with tiffany lamps which you hardly see anymore.

Joy B.

Yelp
" At Regina's we serve a wide variety of delicious and exquisite Mediterranean food." Regina's boasts 22 five star reviews, so as a dedicated Yelper who loves Mediterranean food, I decided to visit. Regina's did not disappoint, it was delicious and the service was wonderful. We started off with some tasty Saginaki. It does not come flaming to your table, but it is packed full of flavor. Next, one of my favorites was the avgolemono soup. A scrumptious chicken and lemon soup, that was hearty and made me eager to get every last drop out of the cup. Next time, I am ordering a bowl. We also ordered the horiatiki salad that included tomatoes, cucumbers, green pepper, feta cheese, Greek olives, fresh dill, and dressed in a red wine vinaigrette. It was delicious and served in a huge portion. Two of us split the salad and we had enough to take home leftovers. For my main dish, I ordered the shrimp and chicken kabobs. They were seasoned to perfection and grilled, so that they were juicy and tender. For dessert, yes after all of that yummy food, we ordered the galaktobourico. It was a delightful combination of custard, phyllo dough, and warm spices. It was a flavor bomb and it melted in your mouth. Servers were masked and all of the covid procedures were in place. A lovely decorated restaurant that I thoroughly enjoyed and will be back soon.

Yelp
Delicious food, classy interior, excellent service. Prices are reasonable with generous portions.

Anye S.

Yelp
Very good service, not very busy on a Friday early evening. I enjoyed a personal sized bottle of moscato, some bread from the bread bowl, one of the pasta specials which was crab stuffed shrimp with lobster sauce accompanied by a light linguini with garlic butter, a Caesar salad, and a dessert split with my husband that I can't remember specifically what it was now but we liked it. Lava cake maybe? I forgot what hubby ordered for dinner but I know it also has the lobster sauce and he liked it. The ambiance is more traditional but European homey feeling, and much less casual than most of Wheaton, but not so formal that you have to dress formally. I'll mention again service was very good, only slip up is someone took the bread away while I was clearly still eating my meal. And bread is for dipping in sauce. All in all a great choice for date night. Entrees mostly in the 20-30 range plus or minus a few dollars, but the side salad was a good size for a low price (shareable!) so overall the meal came to around 80 all in IIRC with one wine, shared salad and dessert, and two entrees including tax and tip. I look forward to trying more pastas and their Greek dishes too.

Yelp
Regina's is a cozy little Italian restaurant on Georgia Ave in downtown Wheaton. The food is excellent and the service is friendly and efficient. All of their dishes are delicious. I particularly enjoy the Chicken Marsala and the Chicken Francese. Prices are reasonable and they also give a nice wine pour. Everyone I have introduced the place to wants to return.

Yelp
Stopped in for dinner. The best dish of the night was the seabass. I love me some good seabass and would definitely come back for it. Other items we ordered were the escargot, clam linguine, mussels, and lamb chops. The lamb chops and mussels were excellent, but I could do without the other two. Ask for bread to dip in your mussels sauce. The escargot wasn't anything special (and the bacon was a weird touch-- not sure it really went well together). Of all the dishes, the clam linguine was the least desirable. It was very bland.

Yelp
Fantastic food--calamari is so lightly battered and tender, rockfish pasta was perfectly seasoned, limoncello cake was bursting with lemon flavor, pork chops were not medium as ordered, but the sauce was very nice. Staff super welcoming and helpful. Will repeat.

Yelp
Very pleasant find in the wasteland of Wheaton dining. Sorry if that seems harsh - but I struggle to find dining options in this area. The small ethnic places are fine but I can rarely find a sit-down spot for dinner that isn't Asian or pub. Regina's is clean, spacious and friendly. It was a quiet early Monday evening when we stopped in. The place only had a few tables so the service was very attentive. The piping hot mozzarella fritta was very good with a tangy marinara. The Pasta alla Regina was good, although the small end of the chicken cutlet was tough from being pounded so thin. My lasagna was good but had a distinct Greek taste with cinnamon (?) added to the sauce. It was good but not like any Italian lasagna I have ever had. For dessert, we treated ourselves to a cannoli and baklava. Nothing very amazing there. The baklava did have a healthy garnish of (unnecessary) cinnamon on top of it. I would definitely come back and try some of the other entrées - several other meat and seafood options in addition to the pastas and traditional Middle Eastern dishes (souvlaki, shwarma, eggplant). Overall, a nice place for a simple but satisfying dinner out.

Yelp
Good quality and responsive service make this place a place to return to on special occasions.

Yelp
Food was great - bouillabaisse was solid - as were the various salads. Fries and green beans were so so - but all else was great. I would go back to try more appetizers like the saganaki and calamari. Definitely happy to see a place like this in Wheaton

Yelp
A terrific takeout meal for a reasonable price! I got takeout from Regina's Restaurant and had a delicious meal (and leftover meal). I ordered and was able to pick up my food soon after. The restaurant itself seemed nice, with good service, and an Italian restaurant-ambiance. The food transported well, and was scrumptious day-of and day-after. I ordered the Horiatiki Salad and the Souvlaki Platter and was delighted by both: -Horiatiki Salad: This salad was scrumptious! Despite being having similar ingredients to a typical greek salad, it had so many layers. The feta melted in your mouth, and the balsamic and dill made the salad cohesively delicious! I couldn't put it down! -Souvlaki Platter: The chicken here was very moist and well-seasoned. The sauces were nice for dipping, and the rice and pita were sufficient. A very solid version of a typical dish! Overall, I greatly enjoyed what I ordered from Regina's Restaurant. The menu and cuisine were a touch confusing because the restaurant seemed advertised as Mediterranean, even though the majority of the menu items were Italian. Maybe I'll try something more Italian next time!

Yelp
I really wanted to love this place... I know they are new, so maybe I will give them another chance at some point. The space is clean and nice, the customer service is also very good. However, had to take off a star because the food was disappointing. Now I want to mention that we had take out, and it seems that the takeout menu doesn't include the full menu..I had the Pasta dish that says it's similar to an Italian Fradiavlo, however it would have tasted much better as the Italian version and not this pseudo Greek dish.

Yelp
I just returned from my first visit to Regina's for lunch.... The ambiance is very nice, the service was terrific and the food was outstanding... I can't wait to go back several times now to try so many delicious looking food items... The parking is very easy and the restaurant is located right in Wheaton. This restaurant is a MUST to try....

Yelp
I still love eating here! The service is excellent and the portions you can take home for leftovers. We've never had a bad meal. We only eat here for dinner so I'm not sure what the lunch sizes and prices are but I do love their dinner service!

Yelp
Regina's Restaurant is a Mediterranean Restaurant that serves a Greek and Italian fare. I like how the restaurant is accented with stained glass ceiling and bar lights. Luigi was friendly and attentive. For drinks, we stuck to canned Coca Cola products. While we waited for our food, we were given a basket with two types of bread and butter. Since it was cold outside, I ordered a cup of Avgolemono soup, which consisted of chicken, onion, egg, lemon, dill, and orzo and pearl pasta. I liked the thickness of the soup. I felt like the dill flavor was a bit too strong. For dinner, we enjoyed the Chicken Francaise and Chicken Valdostana. The Chicken Francaise consisted of three thin pieces of chicken breasts dipped in egg, sautéed in a delicate lemon butter and white wine sauce, served with spaghetti, and garnished with lemon and fresh herbs. The dish had the right amount of lemon. The Chicken Valdostana consisted of three thin pieces of chicken breasts dipped in egg, sautéed with artichokes, garlic, and chardonnay, topped with prosciutto, graviera and mozzarella, and served with angel hair pasta. The portions were so generous - we had leftovers and didn't save room for dessert. We plan to return to try other dishes - Manitaria (Stuffed Mushrooms), Mydia Regina's (PEI Mussels), Spanakopita, Escargot Casino, French Onion Soup, Paidakia (Lamb Chops), Salmone Mediterrano, Rainbow Trout Napolentana, Lasagna All Forno, Melizzana (Baked Stuffed Eggplant), Kotopoulo (Herbed Roasted Chicken), Chicken Marsala), and all the desserts.

Yelp
I'd never heard of this place until it popped up on Yelp and didn't know what to expect. Please try it out. My wife got the rockfish special and I got the Regina Bowl, and they were both terrific. The service was great. I'll happily go back. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
We have been to Regina's twice. Prior to the first visit we had read a review saying that the Chicken Parmesan was delicious. I ordered it on both visits and was not disappointed. An extensive menu with Italian and Mediterranean dishes. Great salads and desserts too. Reasonable pricing. You can't go wrong! We live 30 minutes away but we will be back.

Yelp
Always a fine meal with great service. Love the fish dishes and wine selection. Does not feel like a strip mall find inside.

Yelp
Service is amazing. Second time here in thirty days because the first time was amazing. Cannoli 5/5 Lava cake 4.5/5 Tiramisu - 4/5 worth ordering, not worth killing over Raviolis - very good had butternut squash once and something else another time. Both times great Shrimps stuffed with crab and hollindaise with pasta. This was 10 out of 5.... So goood this needs to be on the menu and not a special. Ribeye - great. Mashed potatoes, perfect. Asparagus - perfect Love this new joint

Yelp
Heard so many rave reviews about Regina's through my neighborhood APP that I decided to make a reservation for Easter Sunday dinner. Our reservation was for 6 pm for a party of 4. We were greeted very nicely and seated immediately! Our server Phillip, was wonderfully attentive and polite as it was only his 2nd day in the job. We ordered the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer and a couple of beers. Bread and butter were brought to the table. The mushrooms were divine! They were stuffed w spinach and feta with a dill butter sauce... We ordered our food and waited a lot longer than desired, however, the food was simply delicious and fresh. We ate all of it!!!! Hadn't had eggplant parmigiana that good in a very long time. I would definitely return and even consider some catered items to go. Hopefully the wait won't be as long next time. The prices were fantastic as well!
