Regueiro

"This chalet-style property in the middle of the countryside features a dining room upstairs with a contemporary-urban decor, an open kitchen, and attractive views of the surrounding landscape. Regueiro’s particularly tasty cuisine has its roots in India (curry dishes and the tandoori oven are prominent features here) as well as recipes from South East Asia." - Michelin Inspector

Do not make plans to visit this restaurant. Despite arranging a booking months in advance, they will call you to cancel it because of "problems with the website." Not honest, not professional and not trustworthy. Pity.

Fantastic mix of Indian/Thai/Malaysian/Indonesian and South American food. Would definitely recommend and will be returning again. Front of house staff very friendly and knowledgeable.

This is a small, family owned hotel. We went there for a family reunion and were 13 in total. The owner and his wife are always there and they are super friendly and accommodating. Our family is from Puerto de Vega so for us the location was ideal as we could walk to the town. The rooms in the front with the balcony are great. At night it is very quiet and peaceful. Other reviewers complained about the cleanliness so I was worried but was pleasantly surprised. The internet worked in some rooms but it worked great in the lobby, hallways, and outside areas. It is not luxurious or modern but has everything you need for a relaxing, comfortable, simple, no frills stay! Would definitely stay again

This is a lovely hotel with an exceptional restaurant. The tranquility of the surroundings left us refreshed and happy in the truly hot 4 days we spent there. The rooms are very clean and beds comfortable. The staff are very friendly and we got by with a smattering of Spanish and French and their limited English made it all the more fun. As I said the food was superb and a reasonable price by English standards. There were several places to visit in the surrounding area all very Spanish and un tainted by too much tourism, very refreshing. We hope to visit again one day with the sure knowledge that we will be welcomed like old friends.

We stayed during the weekend at the hotel and had an amazing culinary experience one night. The Chef went to our table to explain some of the dishes. My favorite was the rottin, the ray and the desserts where delicious 😋

What a wonderful meal. It was a pleasure to find asian themed food of such quality and imagination. Whilst it is not a cheap meal, in my opinion it was worth every cent and we will definitely return in summer when the menu changes.

We stayed here for 4 nights in a clean and comfortable room with sea views to the Bay of Biscay. It is run by the chef who takes great pride in his restaurant. The staff were very helpful and we overcame their limited knowledge of English by using our bad French and Spanish. The hotel is ideally situated for visiting the nearby fishing villages or venturing into the mountains where tourism is yet to reach or spoil. If you want to go native then this is the place. The gardens are marvellous for a relaxing drink after a hot day. An excellent value hotel that we would certainly visit again.

Food quality depends on what you order. Sopa de fideos is made with avecrem powder. Nothing interesting. Waiter could be rude..
