REIF Japanese Kushiyaki - Dubai Hills

Lovely atmosphere. Friendly staff especially Jeffrey who waited for our table most of the time but all them were very warm and friendly really. Excellent food, delicious, loads of options for drinks. A bit on the pricey side I guess due to the location. But overall, was a fab dining experience. Must try the 18-hour broth ramen.

An unforgettable lunch experience at Reif! We visited Reif Japanese Kushiyaki (Dubai Hills) for a family lunch, and it completely lived up to the hype. The food was innovative, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. Special shoutout to our server Mr. Gaine (hope I got the spelling right!) — he was extremely professional, warm, and helpful throughout. He let us know right at the start which three menu items were temporarily unavailable, which helped us plan our meal better — small detail, but it made a big difference. We ordered a mix of starters and mains: the Beef Bao and Shio Ramen were a big hit with my son, and I personally loved the Mushroom Claypot Rice and Red Fruit Kombucha. But the highlight for me was trying escargot for the first time — smoky, buttery, and surprisingly delicious! Finished off with the signature Tiramisu — light, creamy, and absolutely worth it. The service, the setting, and the food were all top-tier. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something a little different, yet incredibly satisfying. Will definitely be back

I personally did not like this restaurant very much, overpriced for me and not a great selection for me, others may see things differently. The tables are too close to each other and you can hear what the other patrons are discussing. The drinks were not tasty for me, and the food was also mediocre for me.

Amazing food, everything was delicious from starters until the dessert. Definitely coming back. Thank you to Jeffrey, Lennan Lia and Chesca for the great service and giving us a great experience.

As soon as we exited our car - valet was complimentary - and stepped in, their hospitable staff welcomed us and presented us with cold towels (both before ordering and after finishing our meal). We ordered Salmon Tataki, Teriyaki Chicken Kushiyaki, Chicken Ramen, and Spicy Salmon Roll. There was no kids meal, rather the main course portions were kid sized! Everything was freshly prepared, tasty, and of high quality though. The only complaint was that it was not value for money, and portions were way too less and the salmon in the salmon roll was barely visible. The open-kitchen and traditional curtains added a nice cosy vibe to the place - the restaurant in itself was very spacious, large, and moderately full. Bathrooms were not there in the restaurant; instead, you had to walk all the way outside and into a building to use the common bathrooms shared with other offices and restaurants. The service was good but food took time to arrive, and food arrived before our toddler's chicken kushiyaki leaving him impatient. It was my birthday but they did nothing special not even giving us a small cake, or at least a happy birthday song - they only gave us a generic happy birthday plastic card at the end. Food was really good and with some of these things fixed we can definately reccomend this place for high end modern japanese cusine in the heart of dubai hills.

Today me and my boyfriend visit this beautiful restaurant, the experience was amazing from the first moment, we tried different kind of food, recommended by our lovely waitress Ashley and her recommendations were amazing! We will for sure come back. Thank you again to Ashley for being so professional, friendly and knowledgeable:)

Brilliant restaurant. I tried the char-grilled salmon trout 10/10, the best salmon I’ve ever eaten. The vanilla satsumaimo looked amazing and was very good. Strongly recommend it.

Amazing spot! The food is super creative, flavorful, and surprising! Wonderful service, and our waiter Gainville was incredibly attentive! We’ll definitely be back
