Reilly's Bakery is amazing! Stepping in the door you are immediately greeted by the delicious bakery smell. The staff were super friendly and gave some recommendations since it was our first time. The menu boards were so cute and artsy! The pastries are so delicious and can't wait to devour the rest and come get more. Definitely take a few minutes to stop in.

I am absolutely blown away by the custom cake we purchased for my mom's 60th. I sent one photo for inspiration, and the cake I received is even more beautiful than I could have imagined. I am so thankful!!

Google
The details on this cake are immaculate, from the budding flowers to the yellow stamen inside the pink flowers. Amazing!

I stopped in early Saturday morning hoping to find a cake in the case for a birthday dinner on Sunday. My back up plan was an assortment of pastries. (you can’t go wrong, everything is delicious!) Very thankful there were multiple cakes to choose from, multiple staff working were so pleasant and eager to help! One of the employees in the back even offered to write on the cake. It came out so beautiful and was total crowd pleaser!

What a great little bakery place. Went in only got a couple of donuts because I ride a bike. And the donuts did get bounced around in the box but that’s OK. Good donuts good conversation some giggles what a great way to start the day thank you Reillys bakery. I was even more impressed that I got three awesome donuts and it was like less than six dollars that’s awesome!

Wow wow wow! Could not be happier with the experience I had here! I ordered a custom cake for my 21st birthday. They perfectly replicated this gorgeous cake from the reference photo I sent them. Great communication. Yummy cake. A bit on the pricey side but I mean look at that cake, well worth it!! Couldn’t recommend enough

Google
Fabulous old school bakery. We went there to check out the donuts and they have a really nice variety to choose from. We tried the coconut flake and it was delicious. Love the large pieces of coconut that they use to coat the donut. Enjoy!

Google
Always making great cakes! Pastries & breads. You can also have coffee here with small chair seatings available. I came to this bakery with my grandmother/mother when young. I will always call this my hometown bakery😋. Love the traditional white cake with old-fashioned frosting!

Yelp
After living here for over a year, I wanted to update my previous review for Reilly's. Still a 5 star after dozens of visits and more donuts consumed than I care to admit. There is something special about Reilly's... they've been around for over 100 years, stay family-owned, and have perfected the art of baking. Every interaction I've had with their staff has been pleasant and I appreciate all of their efforts to be COVID-conscious in these unprecedented times. Their window cake displays change with the seasons- I especially enjoyed their Christmas Vacation themed display last winter... it was brilliant! One of my favorite things about Reilly's is the affordability. I went this morning and grabbed two delicious specialty donuts for less than $4 total. They even sell small bags of day old baked goods at a seriously discounted price (we're talking 25 cents). Not only do they have donuts, but plenty of other baked goods; cookies, pastries, cakes, pies, bread, rolls, donuts (cake and classic). In learning more about Reilly's over the past year, I started to follow their Instagram page and learned about their beautiful custom-made cakes. These cakes are truly a work of art; it turns out, they have one hell of a design team! My go-to order is a blueberry cake donut with cream cheese frosting, and a butter crunch cake donut. I highly encourage you to get there within the first few hours of business because the best donuts sell out quick! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to some Reilly's baked goods in the near future- you won't regret it!!!

Yelp
The hours here are a little wonky but everything they have to offer is absolutely delicious and the employed staff as of this summer and fall have been so kind and attentive. Location is great, it's walking distance from lots of other shops downtown and makes a great weekend morning date - grabbing a treat from them and finding a public bench between checking out the other local businesses.

Yelp
Reilly's made cupcakes for my son's first birthday party and they came out so great! The party was wild one jungle themed and they did such a great job with the design. And the cupcakes were delicious!!

Sharon L.

Yelp
I purchased a chocolate cream pie today. The crust was soggy and you could not cut into it with a fork. At $15 for a small pie it was a huge disappointment. I would not purchase a pie from them again. Have been purchasing from Reilly's for a long time and was so disappointed with this pie.

Yelp
Old school no frills bakery. We stumbled upon it and were so glad we did. Donuts were amazing! Unique other things in the case: date cookies, lemon cream turnovers, and alllll the donut flavors. We got a whole assortment of almost a dozen treats for just about $10.

Yelp
I used to work in Biddeford many years ago and live out of state now. I was going to be back in Maine celebrating my 60th birthday so my daughter ordered a cake from Reilly's. We were all extremely happy with how beautifully the cake turned out. My daughter had called to order and told them the flavors we wanted and was asked if she wanted flowers or balloons on it. She opted for flowers. The cake was delicious on top of being beautiful! It was also extremely reasonably priced! ! I would highly recommend this bakery to anyone.

Yelp
A real bakery!! Not something made in a factory and distributed - their own thumbprint and unique flavor. Amazing jelly and glazed donuts although not a single person said a negative word about ANY of the donuts we purchased (and we got an assorted 4 dozen)!!
google avatar

Monquita R.

Yelp
Yumtastic and so many great choices! I ended up getting a glazed donut, cake donut with chocolate frosting, and a vanilla cupcake with vanilla frosting. All were great, but the cake donut with chocolate frosting was my favorite. It was the perfect amount of crisp on the outside but the actual cake was fluffy and so good. Saturday sells out fast, so go early!

Yelp
By far one of my favorite bakeries of all time. Okay, so some of that is due to nostalgia and growing up eating their cookies, cakes, and doughnuts, however, they still taste amazing even years later. The staff are so kind and friendly and the space is wide and open enough to browse the options without bumping into others. The butter cookies are still my all-time favorite and the maple cream filled doughnuts are a must try - I could eat them every day! They also have amazing lemon filled and jelly filled, and you can get the covered in granulated or powdered sugar (you have to try the powder for the old fashioned amazing taste!). Reilly's brings not only fond memories, but also present delight. I am so grateful they are there and continue to offer amazing treats at great prices with excellent service. If you haven't stopped in ever or for a while, make the trip! If you're a regular, grab a maple cream puff for me!

Yelp
YUM!! Came down to Biddeford from Portland to participate in the #Portlandfoodfight and claimed two doughnuts to try. Parking was not too bad was able to park on the street. Entrance is well marked with a large green sign. Walking in there was many doughnuts to choose from as well as a coffee statin and tables with chairs to sit a enjoy the deliciousness sold here. I ordered the blueberry crumb doughnut with cream cheese frosting and their maple glazed with walnuts. Both were very good and would recommend to anyone.

Yelp
This place really does speak for itself. Word of mouth has been the way of things since they first opened. They've been in business for something like 100 plus years. I remember my uncle getting Reillys every single Sunday for years, during our Sunday family lunches. It's been passed down from family member to family member for generations... the people behind the counter are always polite and kind. Prices are decent in todays world. I remember when donuts where .25.. it's around 20$ for a dozen, my has the world changed. It's a cute little place inside as well. They always have seasonal decor up and a few tables to sit and seat if you so choose. They always have a large amount of choices to choose from in a range of donuts and pastries. The have a large menu on the wall with what they have a prices as well. They're only open Thursday through Saturday from 6a-1p, almost like real bakers hours. Totally worth it. Check them out for sure !!!

Yelp
Pros: -Inexpensive -Lots of baked goods -Nice staff--they ran out of chocolate frosted donuts just as I was ordering so the kind person taking my order ran back to frost one for me! Cons: -Street parking -Too much glaze on the yeast donuts -Cake donuts a bit dry -- Short line around 10:30AM on a Saturday. Plain Glazed Donut Glazed yeast donut. Probably the most glaze I've seen on a donut in recent memory. It was so thick it actually made me a little nauseous. The actual dough was light and fluffy. Chocolate Frosted Yeast donut with chocolate icing. The chocolate icing was not the standard but instead was a buttercream-y cake icing. The icing was super sweet on top of an already overglazed donut--definitely enough sugar to knock you out--and it was a bit odd to have cake icing on a yeast donut. Glazed Chocolate Cake Glazed chocolate cake donut. Good glaze ratio on this donut, but it was a bit dry. If I went back I'd probably go with one of their other tempting looking treats!

Yelp
Hard to find open great family business one of the all time best. Same location for decades great people

Yelp
Reilly's cakes are absolutely delicious! The vanilla cake is more pound cake-esque and I love it. The buttercream is super light and creamy. Great price and cute designs :)

Yelp
Reilly's Bakery is an old fashioned bakery right on Main Street in Biddeford. It is a staple in the town of Biddeford. Ask any local about Reilly's, and they will tell you how much they frequent the bakery. Reilly's has a large history, and it holds onto that history. There is no glitz or glam when it comes to this bakery. They still have an old sign, their bakery gives you that old-fashioned feel, and they still produce many of the same items that they have been selling for years. It's because of this that it still has that charm that every local loves. Reilly's offers a variety of baked goods ranging from fresh made breads, cookies, bizmarks, whoopee pies, cakes, etc. Some staples that I really enjoy are the raspberry pillows with chocolate frosting on top, maple creme donuts (OMG SOOO GOOD) and the raspberry bizmarks. Really, any of their bizmarks are to die for. On occasion, I have had cakes from Reilly's, and these can be hit or miss. Recently, I had a cake from Reilly's and it was really good. Their cakes tend to be more crumbly (almost like corn bread consistency), but they are good. On some occasions, I have received their cakes and they have been dry, which is understandable on rare occasions, but it has happened a couple of times. Regardless, this is an establishment with a lot of history, and their baked goods are prime. When you are in the area, definitely some place to check out!

Yelp
Went there on a Thursday, they were supposed to be open and they weren't. No reasoning anywhere to be found.

Yelp
Delicious, fresh, and flakey!! A family owned, friendly, and helpful old fashioned bakery. We stopped in here on our way to the beach on a Friday late morning and we're still able to find treats for the family. The fact they sell out early of some items shows how popular they are. Locals come in often as do the weary travelers like us. We had the puffed butter cream blueberry, raspberry w and lemon flavored pillows pastries along with chocolate eclairs. We took a bag of soft rolls home for dinner too.

Yelp
its more then sweets... the bread and crusty rolls, the pork pies -take one home & 30 minutes in the oven, get a fork and yum. i'l let my pictures do the talking.

Yelp
For my birthday this past weekend my mother-in-law bought me a cake from Reilly's. As a person that does not love most cakes, I have to say that I was a HUGE fan of Reilly's! As a simple person, my natural go to cake is vanilla cake and vanilla frosting. To spice things up a bit I decided to even add some raspberry filling! This was seriously the best cake I have every had! The cake almost had a cornbread texture/taste which I was a huge fan of. The raspberry filling was the perfect addition to the vanilla cake and frosting. Normally when I eat cake I will have two bites..... well I had 3 entire slices (fatty I know! But it was so good and worth). I will definitely be requesting all of my future cakes from Reilly's.

Yelp
The best cakes! We almost drove 40 minutes for another piece. Delicious I hope I go there again!!!

Yelp
This bakery has been putting out the best donuts and pastries for over a hundred years and I've been eating them for close to 50! It's the first stop we make when arriving in Maine for vacation. And we usually come back another time or two. Try the Neapolitan, raspberry pillow or maple cream donut. They are all amazing as I'm sure everything there is. You absolutely must visit this bakery. They close early (1 pm) and aren't open on Sunday or Monday. They sometimes run out of the favorites so if you have your heart set on something or need a bigger quantity, best place an order!

Yelp
No vegan or allergy friendly options, not worth trying if you have loved ones who have food sensitive or allergies.

Yelp
Reilly's is considered more or less an insitution in Biddeford. They have been in business for 100 years so they're doing something right.... sort of. They're well-known for their chocolate frosted donut. Luckily, today (Friday) if you buy one you get one FREE. Who doesn't love that? So I got 2 chocolate frosted and their maple cream donut also looked pretty awesome too. I'm a sucker for maple anything. I paid and dug in, in my car so my coworkers wouldn't see me pigging out on so many donuts. First inital thought and taste on my maple cream donut? Smells great, but tastes gross. Extreme disappointment. Though there was a generous amount of 'maple' cream there was virtually NO maple flavor. All I could taste was.. crisco... or whatever fat laden product used in this cream. though the cream was light smooth and creamy there was not enough maple flavor for me to instantly think it's maple. It was a pretty donut and I had high hopes, I would have even taken a picture because it is a cute looking donut. I understand the appeal of the chocolate frosted. First, let me start out by saying people must love these because they are cake donuts. They are not normal donuts, but cake donuts. Though tasty, not too heavy tasting, but being very tasty I was happy with it. The chocolate frosting, though VERY LIGHT handed is delicious and just amount of chocolate flavor and sweetness. It could really use more chocolate frosting. Overall, it really depends on what you order which can result in a wonderful experience or pretty subpar in experience. I first went there and I got a whoopie pie and a donut twist with raspberry on one end and lemon on the other. The twist was great. HUGE, light and fluffy. The whoopie pie is not the style I like. It was far too dense, dry and hard-cake like. The cream in the center was lacking in flavor. Again, tasted like crisco. My second time I got a boston cream donut and something else that I don't remember. But as you can see, if I cannot remember the second donut then it really isn't worth remembering. The boston cream was good. But for 1.10 it should have been a little bit bigger (as you can see in the picture I posted). Also, when I was there, the display case left of the register we saw a fly sitting on a baked good. That was a turn off to say the least. So all in all, if you like a nice cake donut, Reilly's is for you. They have a lot of other... old world(?) baked goods. Nothing fancy, donuts, creme horns, danishes, fruit bars etc. I wasn't super impressed, but this is the only place close enough to satisfy a donut craving that isn't DD.
google avatar

Dj N.

Yelp
Just love having a good old fashioned bakery nearby that is consistently delicious. The maple cream donuts are scrumptious. The chocolate coconut donuts are moist and dense and yumm. The new flower cupcakes are not only beautiful but very tasty. I ordered them with raspberry filling for my daughters birthday and they were a huge hit. Oh and let's not forget the homemade chicken pot pie. Just like grandma used to make! These are a few of our favorites, but honestly everything they make is delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
I have the HARDEST time finding cream horns on the west coast. So when I hear word that there's a cream horn within 30 miles, I generally make a trip. The pastry at Reilly's is delicious. Flaky but not dry. The cream is yummy, but something was missing--or added perhaps. The cream was tiny bit grainy and less creamy. I'm super finicky about crosses between Bavarian cream, whipped cream, butter cream (in all its forms), and variations of those crosses. This just wasn't it. I'm easy, and it was awesome and delicious, but I think they could do better with the cream filling. On a sad note, while their donuts are awesome for certain, they lost to Krispy in a semi-blind taste test. So that's sad. I will definitely be back, and would have loved to give them five stars (they are super friendly, kind, and generous), but four stars is fair. If you like bakeries, you HAVE to come here and eat their delicious treats obviously prepared with love.
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
Sold out at 10:30 on a Friday. Unheard of. Doesn't the baker know how much to bake. This is the second time happening.
google avatar

Mairead S.

Yelp
This place has excellent donuts! Whoopie pies are also delicious. Love the fact that it's a family-owned bakery and that it has such a long run in Biddeford.

Yelp
Reilly's Bakery is a fixture on Biddeford's Main Street and a place of many fond memories. From their chocolate covered donuts, pork pies during the holidays, and years of birthday and special occasion cakes, I've probably tried it all. It's amazing to see the fourth generation take over the business, maintain tradition, and also expand to meet modern customers' requests. I send everyone to Reilly's when they're looking for a special treat!
google avatar

Melissa F.

Yelp
Ordered our sons first birthday cake from here. We were so pleased with the overall customer service and the outcome of the cakes. The theme was 'sharks', the bakers hit the nail on the head with this one! We will never order our cakes anywheres else now!
google avatar

Mary R.

Yelp
Late in the day so not a lot of inventory but got a beautifully decorated birthday cake. Place smells amazing! The cake was very hard to cut because of the intricate heaps of frosting so I was sad to destroy it but it was very good and worth the sacrifice. Frosting is super sweet and overly abundant so most of us didn't eat very much if it. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
Reilly's has been in Biddeford forever, or so it seems. But there's big news, the owner recently retired and turned the place over to his daughter. Reilly's hasn't changed much over the years but the new owner is trying some new things. In the last few weeks they've started making stuffed bread for lunch and it's really good. Today's was steak and cheddar and yesterday's was turkey, mozzarella, tomato, and basil. The downtown has been due for a new lunch option since Cobblestone's closed and this is really nice. They make the breads in the morning and unfortunately they've cooled off by lunchtime. Maybe this is okay because they're still good cold or maybe it would be better if they cooked them later in the morning so they were hot at lunchtime. I don't know, this is something new and I'm sure they'll figure it out quickly. Right now there's a different kind each day but I expect that there's going to be a choice and they'll get on a predictable schedule once they see what people want. I'm really happy to see this change and I can't wait to see what they do next. Quick edit (4/18/16): It's now about three months later and I've only been back for a stuffed bread once. The problem? It's enough of a walk that I'm not going unless I know I'm going to want what's inside. I've asked them to post it on facebook like some other lunch places do but I guess they're too busy. Maybe this means that they're doing so well that they don't have time for a facebook post, I hope so.

Mark R.

Yelp
I was looking for an old-school amazing bakery and was not disappointed when I found this fantastic place! Classic baked goods of which their excellence is only rivaled by the customer service. You will not be disappointed, check this place out.

Yelp
I really wanted to like this bakery since it had been in the area for so long!! I went yesterday and got a couple of donuts for my husband and I. We didn't have them until today and we noticed when trying them they tasted just like a grocery store donut. We thought, okay, makes sense as they had been sitting for a day, so we went again today to get some fresh ones and try em again! Alas, they didn't taste any different as a donut from Shaws or Hannaford. The dough is pretty sub par. I'm sure straight out of the fryer they're awesome! But the recipe for the dough doesn't seem like the right kind to use for a donut that's going to sit out all day. I really wanted to like this bakery too since it had been in the area for so long! Kind of a bummer. I still want to try their other products first though. Maybe a third times a charm! The customer service and staff are AWESOME though!!! Edited to add: Also, the filled pastries tasted like the filling came from a can. Not homemade like I feel a bakery should be. I'm a a baker myself; making your own isn't hard to do.
google avatar

Natalie K.

Yelp
Bread. Bread, bread, bread. I live for it. Reilly's has amazing bread. Do you want to know the best part? IT'S CHEAPER THAN THE GROCERY STORE! No, really it is. Their loaves of bread are $1.75 each! I usually buy the English muffin bread for toast for breakfast and then oatmeal sandwiches. If you'd like to make the most delicious French toast of your life buy the white bread but don't have them slice it. When you get home slice it really think yourself. SO AMAZING. They also have amazing donuts that aren't greasy which is hard to find. Their Boston cream donuts are amazing and they keep them cold which makes me happy because 1) they taste better that way and 2) I'm fairly certain pastry cream should be refrigerated and it grosses me out when other places leave it out. So while Reilly's may not look like much from the outside it's amazing. There are so many more things I want to try there but just their bread alone is enough to give them 5 stars.

Ann C.

Yelp
Wonderful local bakery. We ordered two dozen cupcakes and were thrilled to see them. So beautiful!! People were taking pictures of them They were beautiful and delicious!!

Yelp
My bridesmaid got me a cake from here and it was a huge hit at my bridal shower! The mint and coral colors matched my wedding color theme perfectly and the buttercream frosting was delicious!

Yelp
Been coming for over 30 years. Best maple cream, chocolate covered, and honey dipped donuts. Also great butter cookies!
google avatar

Debrin S.

Yelp
Huge space but I thought they didn't offer a wide variety of goods. Breads, muffins, cookies, donuts. Coffee. I like the open kitchen & I'm told everything is made here. The fresh raisin bread was good- best for French toast actually- as I found out one morning! The jam filled raised donuts w REAL butter cream were delish - particularly the blueberry- definately split it w your best pal! Take note of the specials board as they offer something different every day - like buy 1 donut & get 1 free- which is pretty cool.

Yelp
I took a short drive to Reilly's Bakery. This is a family owned and operated bakery that has been in business for over a hundred years and four generations, they must be doing something right. As this was my first visit, and was a bit unsure as to where they were I used Google GPS. I arrived at approx 10:30 which is about 2 hrs before they close, therefore some of the donuts were sold out. The store front is rather plain looking with only a big Reilly's Sign above the entrance way. No flashy signs or the like. It's a quaint and welcoming bakery although the lighting inside and in the display cases could use improving. There is a small seating area for you enjoy your treats. Customer service was excellent, attentive and prompt. The establishment was clean and smelled, well, like a bakery. They make their own fresh pastries and other goodies right in the back. You can see part of the room. This Red Velvet (cake)doughnut was dense, moist and had a slight crispiness on the outside. Topped with a cream cheese flavored buttercream this donut was a home run in my book. The flavor is what you'd expect from a red velvet cake. I'll be making another visit real soon.

Yelp
This seems to be the only bakery in Maine that slathers the old school sugary-style icing on their cakes, as opposed to the ubiquitous buttercream icing that rules the region (and of which I'm not a fan). My wife gets me a yellow cake with chocolate icing for my birthday every year since moving here, and I begin anticipating it every spring - weeks before my birthday. Everything about this bakery screams old school. The breads and pastries are quite good; the danish are plump and fruit-filled, and the donuts are tasty, particularly the cake donuts with generous chocolate icing. These aren't chocolate frosted donuts; these have a half-inch of thick icing on top. I will add that I am not a fan of their cream-filled donuts (including the popular maple cream)...to me, they just taste oily - like eating spoonfuls of Crisco right out of the tub. But that's OK...I'd be 400 pounds if I liked everything they made.

Doris S.

Yelp
I always went to this bakery for cakes, breads, cookies. I hadn't been for a long time and I got a cake. Honestly it isn't how I remembered. I dont know if it sat there for too long but it was very dry. Maybe if I had ordered it fresh. I will try there breads next.

Yelp
Sooo disappointed. I really wanted to like this place. I live in MA and I called to order a special cake for my grandparent's 50th wedding anniversary that was taking place at my uncle's house in Saco. I called well in advance just to make sure they could make a beautiful cake to commemorate such a day. Didn't happen. I called and asked them to email or fax me a list of the cake/filling flavors they had, which they said they couldn't do. They told me that I could check out the entire menu on their facebok page, but it wasn't there. I had them read off the cake flavors to me, and I settled on a champagne cake with strawberry filling. I asked them if they could do a real strawberry filling to which I was more than willing to pay extra, but after checking with the head baker, they said they could only do that if I brought in the strawberries. Obviously that couldn't happen since I live in MA, and what store owner wouldn't go the extra mile for a customer if they were more than willing to pay more for it? As for decorations, I specifically told the girl I spoke to that my grandparents were not "old, fogie, doilly-typeS" - these are people that are in their early 70's that travel all over the world and are still as active as they were when they were 20. I gave no specific directions as to the decorations, as long as it was "sophisticated, elegant, and classy". Let me tell you what I got the day I picked it up. The cake was as dry as dust, the strawberry preserve filling was laced with enough gelatin to make the insides weep into a strange gelatinous-form, the frosting tasted like supermarket-cake-area-best cream out-of-the-jar horrible-ness, and the decorations - it looked like a 5 year olds birthday cake!!! It would have fit in at maybe a baby shower or a little girls birthday party: people made fun of the cake all day. What about pastel colored stripes with little whirly-gigs on top says "elegant, sophisticated, and classy"?!?! It looked like a circus tent! The 5 year old kids in the house didnt even it it, nevermind the adults. The cake was terrible, they wouldn't go the extra mile even for more money, and the decorations were a joke - maybe the pastries are good here, but don't ever commission a cake thru them if you want to keep your dignity at whatever function you are throwing.

Yelp
2 WORDS: CHOCOLATE FROSTED! Reilly's is THE best when it comes to doughnuts! My grandma and grandpa always make sure to have the Reilly's doughnuts ready for us whenever we are up in Maine to visit! They always get the cake doughnuts with the rich chocolate frosting on top and the honey-dips! They are SOOOO good! Every time I go to Maine, my diet is ruined. But, these doughnuts make it SO worth it! They also have great breads and more! Thanks to my Nana and Pa for introducing me to this oasis in Biddeford! I always look forward to the brown box when I get to my Nana and Pa's! :)

Yelp
Reilly's is an institution. If you are a local you have probably been here or eaten one of their cakes at someones birthday party. It is a local establishment, everything is made in-house and they have very limited quantities. The selection is small as well. They have decent donuts, I am not a huge donut lover. They are better then Dunkin Donuts I can tell you that much. The issue I have with Reilly's is their cakes. Every year for my birthday I got a Reilly's cake. I loved it. I got to pick out what color flowers I wanted and have fond memories of the bakery. However, I have moved from southern Maine, explored the world and well sadly have found much better cakes. Every time I have a piece of Reilly's cake it is nostalgic but also tastes dry with heavy crisco frosting. With that being said and much to my mother's dismay, even though I will be married in Maine, Reilly's will not be making my cake.

Yelp
Nice old school bakery. Friendly staff, lots of pastry and donut options, and they offer samples while you're browsing! I sampled the maple frosted donut with crumbles bacon on top - SO GOOD! Needless to say I went home with a couple of those :) I highly recommend this place if you're looking for a nice old school family friendly bakery. Also, cash only so be prepared!

Yelp
A LIFETIME favorite. Every birthday [I'm almost 30] I request that my cake come from here... Frosting is full of sugar, but you've got to splurge at least once a year right? The inside is never dry and the presentation is always perfect. My family is a huge fan of the chocolate frosted donuts.. they've become a staple to almost any holiday to have them for breakfast, or for any reason really... just whomever is coming up for the weekend, we make sure they get to experience the amazingness these are. I've graduated in my ways from eating just the frosting to enjoying the entire donut... clearly I had been missing out during the frosting only days! ALSO, another favorite is the butter cookies. I went to school in NJ and then lived in Boston for 6 years and now live in RI and have yet to find cookies tasting as good as these [even better than Mike's Pastry in Boston] and anytime my parents come to visit, I always get a treat of a bag full of these. The perfect amount of sprinkles and yummy. Someday I'll get married... and I'll be coming to them :) Recommend to any and everyone!

Yelp
Stopped here on our way home to MA. The donuts are made fresh, taste so delicious. Love the jelly filled and Boston creme.
